even with everything opening back up a lot of people are still choosing to work out at home rather than go back to the gym why because there are amazing technological innovations that have allowed home gyms to be condensed into relatively small units whether you have insufficient space too much space or everything in between today's home gyms are perfect for any setup and help you stay fit and in shape today we're counting down the top six home smart gyms that are available on the market and why you should consider them beginning with number six let's take a look at the mirror the mirror is the slimmest and the most minimalistic of the smart home gyms featuring over 50 different workout genres live classes weekly and on-demand classes ranging from five to sixty minutes each there is something for everyone whether you are a beginner or expert the mirror is reasonably priced at only fourteen hundred and ninety five dollars before tax and delivery and requires a 39 per month subscription fee this is quite a bit cheaper than some of the other options we're going to show you in a moment but there are some drawbacks the first major drawback of the mirror and the reason that is last on our list is the lack of weights or strength training accessories you can easily do something similar to the mirror by just purchasing beachbody home workouts apple fitness p90x or other streaming concepts and just playing them on your tv aside from being the best looking the mirror does lack some other features which brings us to number five coming in at number five is jax jogs jack shocks is a newer concept an at-home smart gym featuring detachable accessories such as kettlebells and dumbbells as well as other accessories coming out soon they use bluetooth tracking to analyze your movements as you work out and track your progress the dumbbells are adjustable up to 100 pounds per set and the kettlebells are adjustable up to 42 pounds per unit the jack shocks is definitely geared more towards people who like to lift and it has a swivel touch screen with interactive content to keep you going throughout your workout it came in fifth on our list as it's not been fully released and some of the accessories are still being developed there's a lot of plastic parts used and there's still some speculation about what all will be included it's not as aesthetically pleasing as some of our other picks and for that reason it landed at number five so with that said let's jump on into number four [Music] coming in at number four is the nordic track vault which basically combines the look of the mirror with the dumbbells and added accessories of the jax jocks which is why it has landed at number four unlike some of the other startups on the list nordictrack has been around for many years they know fitness and they know how to make great fitness accessories so you know that you're going to be getting quality when you buy one of their products on top of that they've had a lot more time to come up with programming and programming specific to their own products however it does sit on the more expensive end of the spectrum coming in at almost three thousand dollars for the unit plus two hundred dollars for delivery that does include one year of the ifit membership which is roughly 396 dollar value it includes a yoga mat two yoga blocks three loop bands three super resistance bands five thirty pound dumbbells twenty pound and thirty pound kettle bells and premium shelves with hanging shelves and a cleaning towel now all that said that is still top dollar for an exercise machine like this and because of that that is why it's kind of landed in the middle of the pack there are in our opinion some better offerings out there at or near this price that you should consider which leads us to number three the tempo studio we absolutely love this thing it is like the nordictrack vault but it has free weights that are a little bit more adjustable and scalable for various workouts that especially people who lean more towards lifting and power lifting might find useful now a lot of people have complained that the weights don't go heavy enough so they did come out recently with additional weights to add and beef up the offering but the quality of the programming the quality of the weights and everything included and the fact that it all folds up into a tight unit with everything stored either underneath or behind has made this a really really solid home gym offering starting at 2 495 or 69 per month not even including the fee for the content subscription this is definitely one of the pricier options but again it goes back to quality it's hard to compare to not only the quality of the hardware and the equipment that comes with tempo but also the quality of the software you get really great classes you get live tracking using their built-in sensors and cameras for optics that track your movement to make sure that you're actually working out carefully and appropriately and that you're following the move so you not only strain yourself but you're also building muscle the right way all of that being said this thing is just a powerhouse of a home gym and that of a smart gym and it folds up into a relatively small footprint and allows you to move it around as need be which unlike some of the other ones on this list that are bolted to your wall little hint at what's coming up next you can actually move this around whenever you see fit for all of these reasons and more tempo studio lands at number three on our list and honestly it was a really close number two and for that reason we do really really highly suggest giving the tempo studio top consideration when you're down to your final decision on which home gym to buy up next coming in at number two is formlift or form studio also known as form life and this is a new and upcoming product that's not fully released yet and there's a lot of speculation and excitement about it because there are a few different nuances that make this unique not only does it fit well on your wall looking just like a basically a full-length mirror but it has two different versions one that is similar to the mirror that we talked about on our first um smart gym and then two is one that offers arms for more of a weightlifting approach and what makes that really exciting is the fact that this goes really well in pretty much any room you put it in it was designed by famous designers with a huge background of just showcasing fantastic industrial designs but it allows it to mesh well in any room and depending on what type of workouts you like whether it's more of the cardio and the mirror focused workouts or if it's more of the lifting workouts you can buy the product that they offer that fits you best it costs about the same as the tempo coming in at 2 495 per month however it does come with a heart rate monitor and some other cool features so that does set it apart it comes with a yoga mat as well you have a 30 day no risk trial and a lot of the other guys do too you come with a microfiber towel screen camera covers so you can have privacy if you don't want the cameras out there but one thing to point out and this does include the next one on our list is that it is mounted to the wall so unlike some of the other offerings thus far once you place it it is there until you want to pay somebody to come and move it so you really need to think ahead about where you want to put this thing and that's why they made it look so good so you can put it somewhere almost forget that it's there except for when it's time to do a workout the two drawbacks from this one other than not being fully released yet is how far it separates itself from the wall which we weren't a huge fan of and the fact that it only goes up to 150 pounds of weight resistance so with all that being said let's dive on in to what landed at number one and our most favorite of the entire list the tonal the tonal is an unbelievable technological innovation not only does it use digital weight with rotating arms and customizable workouts it has smart handles and smart bluetooth connected accessories that allow you to basically turn on and off the weight as you see fit so you no longer need to go to the gym and have a spotter the machine will actually spot for you sense when you're struggling and turn off the weight or crank up the weight if it feels like you could lift more all you have to do is just turn on the weight with a touch of a button and the machine will do the rest on top of that highest in class 200 weight of digital resistance digital resistance actually comes in heavier than real weights at a gym so it's actually slightly more than 200 pounds even some of the biggest lifters in the world will tell you that this thing is serious and it's not coming off the wall this thing is bolted to where it is they use massive bolts that go directly into the studs and unfortunately you can't move it on your own but they do come in with installers and put it on your wall to make sure that everything is set up appropriately and that it won't go anywhere so let's talk price this is by far one of the most expensive options on the market with everything included after you factor in taxes shipping installation classes and the machine itself you're looking at over four thousand dollars if you want a full predict down click the video above because we did do a full breakdown on what to expect but for the money you are getting an absolute masterpiece of a home gym the quality content the customizable programming the constant updates that are refreshing the unit and making it in my opinion worth even more money due to new features like live classes and a built-in camera that isn't even being utilized yet i think the tonal will stay relevant for years to come so your investment is safe now there have been amazing reviews online and so far from our experience trying this thing we have been absolutely blown away not only by the digital resistance but all of the different different add-ons that tonal offers such as chains and eccentric mode and all these different benefits that you just can't replicate at a gym on top of that it's also in our opinion one of the best looking it's not as slim as the mirror and doesn't look as great as the mirror but all told it folds up completely on itself so it's a little bit closer to the wall than form life it's a little bit smaller of a unit it's not as shiny or mere looking as the other guys but it still looks great and you can still put it in the living room you could still put it in the bedroom you could put it wherever you have guests because when it's off and it's all fold up a lot of people are going to be intrigued by it and it doesn't look like a bunch of gym equipment aside from the price and the fact that it's bolted to your wall and you have to pay somebody to come and move this thing whenever you move there really aren't that many drawbacks from tonal that we found it has apple watch integration and there's again new features released all the time so from our standpoint this easily takes a spot at number one because there is just nothing else that comes close we have heard rumors that peloton and some of the other big fitness users and groups out there are going to be coming out with a competitor to tonal soon but that is you know yet to be seen so for now tonal is number one on the list and we'd love to know if you guys agree so leave us a comment below let us know if you agree with our overall list and if this helped you we hope that we provided you with some good information that assists with making your own decision when it comes to buying and installing your own home smart gym it's definitely the way of the future and so far we have really enjoyed our workouts so thanks again for watching and we will see you next time you
