Top 5 Small 5th Wheels for 2021

hey everyone i'm matt welcome back to another video today i'm super excited we're taking a look at the top five fifth wheels under 30 feet for 2021. will and i we searched through every single lightweight fifth wheel in the rv industry and we came up with our top five list make sure you stick around to for number five because you won't believe who got the number one slot we're starting in three two one great so to begin we're going to start with number five which is the keystone springdale model 2253 fwre this is a great rear entertainment floor plan very small very short for a fifth wheel well check out the inside all right bathroom right here very nice bedroom up for it yup nice little bedroom but well i must say this rear living room area is very impressive you have a nice corner kitchen right there very nice not solid surface countertops trying to keep the weight down a nice little dinette area over here and then look how big and spacious this is i like this you know you don't have a direct view of the tv but you can easily move out those recliner seats just as you can see it's small it's lightweight it's just a great unit to start off the small fifth wheels let's check out what number four is number four is the dutchman astoria 1500 series model 2993 rlf again just a traditional rear living room floor plan but i love the way they did it i love how lightweight they made it i love how they added an awning right there on the slide out and right there you have these nice solid steps to get in and well this is 8980 pounds very lightweight for a fifth wheel and the way they designed the interior looks fantastic all right we'll start up front again nice northwest north south bed here bathroom right here and then look at this living room area now again this is your traditional rear living room area there's there's not much special about it but when we decide our top list what we're looking for is is what what manufacturers do differently i love the floor i love how they didn't go with all white but they did go with some white with the brown finishes just a really nice unit at a great price point in an excellent size and weight that's what makes this number four well let's check out number three all right so number three on the list is this grand design reflection model 278 bh as you'll be able to see this is still a small fifth wheel and it's able to give you a little bunk room which i'm a huge fan of coming down the side here we do have a little outside kitchen set up right here very little this again this is going to be a smaller fifth wheel guys very lightweight as well check out the inside do you know what the weight is on it yes sir on eight um no i do not oh all right starting up front another north south bed here really really awesome look really small bathroom right there again smart design you have your sofa right there entertainment center nice u-shaped dinette open concept people don't realize this is a small unit so this open concept makes it feel bigger you have drawers right there your tvs here little fridge little sink area and then well look at this you have plenty of big sleeping area for people in the back and when they do need their privacy you do have a door to shut it just to give them their privacy easy to say why this is one of the only bunk houses in the top five for small fifth wheels will let's let's take a look at number two and one so number two for small travel trailers is the highland ridge open range light this is model 291 rl the reason why i select this is number two is because it's still super small super lightweight but the quality is still there i actually don't know how they made it really good quality was still staying so light you have two awnings on the outside you have a pvc roof and let's check out some of the interior features all right starting up front you know the dry weight of this uh fifth wheel is eight thousand five hundred pounds which is insane and they're still giving you solid surface countertops wow it doesn't make any sense it really doesn't nice sized bathroom because they did the jack and jill yep then over here you know this deer traditional double slide out rear living area again solid surface nice thomas pain collection there's no carpet in this fifth wheel at all you have the table and chairs with four dinettes and then look at this kitchen i mean that they're not sacrificing anything you have a pantry space here nice kitchen island and everything and then another pantry space here that's crazy it's easy to see how big and nice this is while still staying so small and that's why this unit was number two will let's check out what number one was so number one for small lightweight fifth wheels is gonna be this forest river impression well we saw one of these for the first time just a week ago and it was this floor plan and it really really impressed me take a look at the inside all right weighing in at only 8 205 pounds this is a small small fifth wheel nice north south bed and this is the one with the washer dryer prep isn't it yes there's no lights on right now either this is and we're late in the day so it's starting to get dark some and it's still super bright in here you work yeah check out that bathroom the lights do work yep oh well even better nice good sized bathroom again it's going to be smaller travel trailer so showers a little bit smaller but still very doable but check out this living room this is so simple you have a really decent sized kitchen right here very simple layout look at these dinettes you have an ottoman here for your legs on the sofa or it's kind of like a boost style if somebody's bigger and then look at this sofa it's directly across from the entertainment center you have a huge window there wow will look how closely parked this thing no kidding that's crazy right but check this out here's what i love right here we even have hidden storage behind the entertainment center this floor plan is so simple and so great and so light and so bright making this my our choice of the number one lightweight fifth wheel for 2021. great so that's the top five lightweight fifth
