put bio bio med tech that's a good fair assessment I probably put that because it's not like someone joins you know Hospital corner like Bobby you don't really want to be bio med tech but then they see the outside salaries and they're like you know what I that's why everyone does it exactly they do all the salary so it's not not so much it's like obvi that's such a kick-ass job it's more like I can do John a medical that doesn't deal with patient care but I'll make a lot of money after the military exactly so this program for the military is a star program where if you go as a e4 you'll make a 5 out of it I was like what do you mean miss don't redo it like a lot of you get a Starman good job now but then all you do is you're going to maintenance all of the medical equipment from refrigerators to Flo hoods to your equipment your medical mechanics yeah knuckle mechanic pretty much what you'll be doing oh you're smart yes book yeah they they do a lot of stuff so if you're into technical stuff but you want to do medical that's a good option it is all right number four minutes that good stuff number four I'm gonna say x-ray tech why don't you uh from what I understand is x-ray techs can challenge or they're just a few credits off of their associates right yeah and then after that you King and associates in radiology and they move on to a civilian sector job so another thing is if you are x-ray certified the Navy is pushing where everybody has to be certified nationally certified so what's going to happen is you're going to get your certification likely they're going to train you on CT MRI and all these other specialty machines so that just adds on to your village and make money when you get out ultrasounds as well there's a bunch of different types sure there's a there's a lot of like Navy corpsman jobs that they don't like if you're just a regular corpsman we go through EMT we're not certified to you unless you go out in town and challenge it out of college yeah where you're in the class with Air Force they get certified as being teased but the Navy doesn't spend money on a corpsman get an EMT trained we go through the entire EMT class we test out for EMT but technically on the civilian sector we're not EMTs yeah so feel yourself lucky x-ray techs dude yeah you guys you guys are deemed important by them you're stood idle alright we're going to hit up number three I'm going to mention it just because it's my pick numbers where I'm going to say physical therapy Tech and from my experience from my current base in my last base I don't know how it is necessarily on ships or whatever if they you know single that out but these dudes for my life she commands muster in their PPE gear right yeah one that's awesome so thank you that your PP here every single day let me tell you it's not wear the uniform is cool putting on boots well yeah I hate wearing boots everyday that you take those off yours like oh it feels so good it's like someone just took a weight off your neck it's on your foot it sounds odd like that is that and if of course you want to be a physical therapist and that's like obviously the number one stuff you want to be yeah but even not you're wearing PT clothes and you're just kind of stretching and working telling people what workouts to do that day to day job and you know you're going to have you're not going to get nightshift who does physical therapy in the middle of night it doesn't have button doesn't Evan you're gonna have baseships gonna be baby cool if you like musculoskeletal also if you're into like wounded warrior type stuff that interests you people being rehabbed back to health there's major programs over here in San Diego and in that says the area so that'd be something to be in our students number two though so I'm gonna go with dive med tech that's what number woman that can before you explain this I'll start thinking of a number one all right so I'm going to say dad med tech as number two and I said because it's a very small group within the corpsman field that you are going to go through a school typically that your pipeline you have to do a PST to qualify which is a special fitness test for special programs like this you're going to go to Panama City Florida and what ends up happening here is your heavy diving which i think is pretty cool because not many rates get to do that like barely any yeah back in the day they used to pit now yeah now there's a great ND and then so you're the medical component so you still get to do all the same stuff that a regular divers going to get to do the only difference is the necessity to get your master diver [Music] we got number one coming in I got mine up to my head you got yours of course I'm on alright I hope I don't take yours but mortician take it no not at all okay all right if you look at the Corman snapshot it says how many people are in each specialty of medical yeah and then it says mortician there's like five of them I said here's six and then you add known two of them so again you come in with a degree but auto cap to e5 and actually six yeah I think they have a program music I think it's like a time-lapse thing you're going to [ __ ] around with dead bodies and you're pretty much going to be left alone because that's your job it's like an officer job that you're enlisted yeah and so there's like different spots with the United States and even overseas so I knew two that were stationed with me both became Dorota they're typically in Hawaii Delaware they've got a couple different spots here in San Diego I believe there's just you know all six or how many other small group of them that are so you kind of know where you're going next you can kind of plan out where you're rotating through you're pretty much guaranteed pickup though thank you yeah you are going you're going to retire it is weird that they're not officers also yeah it's like you're an officer like as in your job because that's your job and you have a degree in it and no one's going to [ __ ] with you but it's like you're still enlisted it's just weird like you're playing with dead bodies you know this dude to stuff squirrels these dudes are stuffing human I don't know wise to number one but it's super rare so it's a cool field to go into and I'm gonna go with IDC because woman so oh my he had to talk about himself let me get it you can stop dead body sorry all right IDC you can be with the Seavey's Marines ships like all these different places and you are working without a provider like a doctor nurse like you are trained to do a ton of different stuff caveat to that morticians can stuff Seabees seals Rangers all right morticians will stuff any so I'll talk about it because log you are always asking about becoming an innocent duty corpsman you have to have already been in the military you you have to e5 yet to be the rate for six years I believe six years yes fine I thought it was just be fine but there are waivers to that that I've seen you should huh yeah you ought to be able to perform so it's not something that you just go from a school to independent Duty corpsman definitely not you need way more experience Sciences are like physician assistants pretty close that's way above like regular if you look at regular carbon and you look at [ __ ] IBC's they're different worlds but again the expectation is different of IEC versus a regular performance like you tell me to like do something like super high-end medical stuff and I can just straight-up say don't know how to do that next vital signs yeah cues avoid it as a bindi and that's fine that I don't know how to get understand that that's except a little bit like okay they tell an IDC to do some [ __ ] and they say I do that they'll be like what you should see what you just I just spent so much money on we're on my video dies oh yeah we're so intent on here a Nicki mgtv video man this is where we were calm relaxed charge of and if so you got to treat them and be able to transport necessary so it's not like white coordination a lot of hard work but I want to go off on that I probably give you juice on that
