so welcome back everybody we are back on our Roku device today Roku TV and we're going to bring you the top five yes five free streaming apps available on your Roku device save you some money save you having a sign up to applications like Netflix Prime things like this these are all free plus at the end I'm going to show you how to find them and I'm going to show you a few Bonus Apps which I can't personally open in this country but you'll be able to open in other countries and if anyone's interested comment below because I'm going to show you how to open apps from other countries very very soon on a brand new video so if you're after that do remember to hit that subscribe button we have tons of videos here including weekly Roku videos now as well which are becoming more and more popular so it's great to see you here and if you're a regular Watcher do watch through to the end because you never know you may want one of these Roku devices or get one at some point and you'll want to see what's happening so drop me your thoughts underneath and let's have a straight look into it so this is your Roku device they all look the same very straightforward very easy to use really simple layout and obviously you have a feature free section we're not really going to go too much into that today because it's there for everybody what we're going to look at is your actual home screen and the applications you have and we're going to run you through some great apps and these are all included on your device and we're going to start today with one called Plex Plex is an amazing application Plex can actually be used to play your own media as well which is something we can look for in the future if you want to do a video on that you can sign up you can sign in or you can skip the sign in and it still works no problem signing up is mainly for if you're going to play your own media from elsewhere but the good thing about plexus you can set up watch lists you need to sign in for free for that um you have a live TV section which has tons of live TV like tons of live TV you have movies and shows you have a discover section which we can talk about in a second and you have a music section and like I say you can play your own media in it as well you can add your own Plex server and then you can add your own media into something which obviously means you can play a little bit more stuff onto your Roku which may not be allowed or accessible normally so very useful so let's have a quick look at the movies and shows movies and shows is different for every different country so your videos may be different to my videos and vice versa but in here we have a lot of films um you can just look at categories if it's easier so something you might like for me I like my action so I'll look at action films and here we have it we have loads of action films what we can watch easy to use really simple straightforward and guess what all a hundred percent free so you can click on one you can click on play obviously agreed to this and what will happen is it works by showing you adverts and then it's free so it's as simple as that you get your ads then it's free let's just skip through these ads then the movie plays nice easy straight in and as you see perfect quality no worries at all and it works really easily and there's no actual ads from this application in the films themselves okay so you have the ads beforehand fine skip that go make a cup of tea then there's no ad actually in the programs itself and like I say lots of content I know the USA version has even more films and again if we cover that video like I say about accessing these other applications from other countries on Roku we will be able to cover that for you as well live TV you get a guide at the top here you can look at Plex channels entertainment movies reality all different sorts of stuff you might be looking for even some sports on there comedy I know a lot of people like looking up things like news lifestyle that sort of stuff you can get your news channels on here stay up to date and as you see it's playing above at the top there really easy right next up next up we're gonna have a look at one which is distro TV vistro TV is a cool little app which has recently been updated and it has lots and lots of TV channels on it so you get live TV and you get a little bit of on demand the on demand isn't as big um it's not as big as the live TV section but there's a lot of good content in here from around the world okay so if you're live you can look down there's loads of different channels you can look at it's not for everybody but again if you want some worldwide channels some different things to look at some again news is very big people are always looking for the news to watch um your news channels all there easily watchable you can just click and play like that you can go into a guide mode as well in the top right corner which makes it a lot easier so you can just scroll through all the different channels you've got here just to have a look around again these are a bit more obscure than the last one um Plex is a very good app but this is another one with a lot of free options and they just click and play right next up next one we're going to look at is Pluto TV Pluto TV again is a great app which works pretty much everywhere around the world and within those different locations it has different movies and programs again so let me know in the comments if it works for you has a huge guide you've got movies bingeable entertainment reality um you can scroll down them just watch the channel if you want to really easily again you can select which option you want again there's loads of documentaries there's kids full of stuff for kids if you want kids cartoons and everything like that and you can just click play works really easy then you can load back to your guide if you want to if you press right to the side there is a few options of on demand again and this actually has quite a good range of on-demand stuff on here where you could have a look through again every country has different things so you will see different things to me no doubt and again the movies some good ones on here you can just click them click watch now and it will play Pluto again does run on adverts but it doesn't always play a lot you see there we loaded straight into a film with no adverts at all playing on that one right let's back ourselves out of this one next up we have one more which most of you should be using if you're on a Roku device the Roku channel is full of free and premium content free stuff but it's good okay you've got live TV obviously premium if you do want to pay for a little bit where you're going to get a few more add-ons it's a bit like um Prime Video in a way where you can add add-ons to it but with live TV you get loads of channels loads of your news again will be different around the world because we all have access to different things you have some sports on there who doesn't want like Roku channel it's a great app you've got TV series you've got movies kids and family categories you can save lists as well really easy to use really simple layout and movies wise actually you know what it's quite a bit on here so you can just click them and again you can try different movies you click them you click play and they will load through for you and get going we're not going to load any more up onto this channel nice and easy to use quick look at the live TV section as well while you're here again click click play and the Roku will also it has a slightly different live TV app but it will automatically open it up for you if you want to watch one of these programs you can move into a guide if you want to like it says but we're going to get out of this one but we're going to get out of this one right lastly but not least actually the best one is freebie freev is awesome 3v is owned by Amazon and again loads of you will get loads of free content through freebie um I'm not gonna load this one up because we're running out on time and this video is getting a little bit long but do install freev to get these apps if you haven't got them already just go to where it says channels click on apps and you can then either search in here or you can just go down and you'll find them in top three movies and TV shows okay nice easy and simple and a couple of other apps I would recommend from around the world which are worth getting Voodoo is good Voodoo has an option of free and paid crackle is amazing mainly USA Redbox is amazing mainly USA and local now amazing mainly USA so do check them all out guys if any of them you have missed I will try and Link all the names underneath in the
