TOP 100+ Mods For Red Dead Redemption 2

today we have a compilation of over 100 mods for Red Dead Redemption 2 I've merged all my previous modding videos to create the ultimate modding type movie so if you're looking for some new cool mods that can help to enhance your Story gameplay increase your current Graphics or even create your own version of Undead Nightmare 2 then sit back relax and enjoy the first mod is called beefy Arthur and as you can see it really beefs Arthur up he has those bulging biceps those pecs ready to deck and he never skips leg day next we have the online legendary animals companion which allows you to have any legendary animal as your companion your new companion will follow you and if you want it to he'll even attack anybody you command to attack oh no next up is The Bodyguard spawner which gives you a cool little menu and inside you can choose a model from any NPC in the game and that NPC will protect you so that's how we have John Martian over here as our sidekick next up we have the colorful weapon Wheels icon which will colorize the weapon menu so you have weapons that actually stand out a little bit better at least to me giving rdr2 that extra flavor next we have the mod hunting wagon which gives you a handy wagon for hunting you can store a bunch of pelts in the back and you can even customize it so you can change up the lanterns you can put a cover on it if you want or you can even change into different wagons they have everything from big ones all the way to small ones so you can take you and your bodyguard and now go hunting another rather cool mod is the gunmal rework which reworks all the gun models so now they'll have a nice shiny tint and this does affect most guns which in my opinion gives it a nice finish finish this is definitely a weapon mod I always have installed the next mod is called authentic Euphoria motions and this adds realistic body physics to NPCs so as you're killing the competition they will fall in a more lifelike pattern giving you that extra immersion Red Dead Redemption 2 has never been more realistic improv Wildlife features a bunch of improvements for the Wildlife especially if you're a hunter there are now more Wildlife spawns across the land all spawns for animals have been increased even for the birds in the sky IND you see more frequent herds com from place to place all around a great addition especially if you're trying to fill up that hunting wagon with pelts next are a few Quality of Life mods so we have remove all screen effects we have silent dead eyee and no killcam filter so you won't get that obnoxious dead eyee sound whenever you enter the mode it'll just be a nice smooth slow motion dismember anybody allows you to well dismember anybody so along with heads being popped you can now shoot off limbs as well there are a couple of map mods that I use as well the first one is the beautiful dark mini map which gives you a pretty Sleek translucent mini map on the bottom left hand corner of the screen I think the vanilla mini map stood out a little bit more so this map helps it not to stand out as much but you still get to see where you're going the next map mod is called the map redesign dark version this just turns your main map into a dark version of it and if you're not a dark mode user for your phone or computer what are you doing the Punisher attire gives Arthur a retexture of his Gunslinger coat this symbol really fits Arthur because he do be punishing some people pretty bad this next mod is a simple but Sleek one and is called rifle holster so instead of the vanilla sling that you get you now have a nice customade holster for your rifle there are multiple variants of this as well right now we're using the Arthur beta version but I believe they have everything for anybody's style this mod is simple but now it's a must-have going along with the theme of weapons we have the restored quiver modon so now when you have your bow equipped you can actually see your quiver on your character definitely not a needed mod but for me this is now essenti because where else would he be pulling the arrows from right next up we have the dog companion mod which allows you to go up to any dog on the map and pet it to bond with it now this Works hand inand with the legendary animal companion mod so right now this cougar is my dog but if you wanted a different kind of furry friend you can always just grab this mod there are options in the any file as well to give your furry companion infinite health so you don't have to worry about it getting stopped out there's also conversions where you can turn your dog into a fox so if you want a foxy doggy companion you have options next up we have the gun effects mod so as you're shooting your bullets you will see new smoke effects coming out of your gun coupled with this we have a mod called Wan's blood lust which makes the blood really stand out you will see new blood splatter effects from animals all the way up to humans and it almost gives it that kill build type of vibe I really like this mod they do have some extreme versions as well so depending on how much blood you like you can really customize it it just makes the game a lot more spicy the the next mod is called gun tricks and I have no idea why Rockstar didn't put this in the base game but this basically brings those online gun tricks back into story mode so you can toss and flip your favorite guns after you smash on some baddies now we can all agree that the lantern is a nice addition to rdr2 but the unfortunate thing is that it takes up your hand slot the mod called stash the lantern allows you to stash it on your gun Bel so now you can still get light while you take care of business 2 this is another one of those mods where I have no idea how it didn't make it into the base game unlimited horse whistle distance is a must have mon no matter where you are you'll be able to call your horse quick fast and in a hurry next we have a mod called Bandit hideouts this will add Bandit bases onto the map identified as a skull so you'll get to fight as many Bandits as you want these Bandit cans will respawn after a certain amount of time so you can have fun slaying as many Bandits as you want you will be randomly attacked on the road as well just by Bandits roaming around the land and the mod is really configurable so you can even increase inre or decrease the amount of Bandits that you run into now this next mod is a doozy this mod is called ym Triple E merge and this is a merge of three different mods these mods add thousands of extra Cosmetics as well as clothing items you have everything from new hats different kind of coats different styles of fur cloaks Durangos different type of coat Parts new shirts gloves neck wears bandanas masks I mean pretty much everything you can even get a backpack if you want there are a couple of pre-made outfits as well and with all the added content you can really get unique with your edits but it doesn't stop there you now have access to a lot of different hair options as well so you now have some pretty Sleek new hair options which is actually a lot I think it's over 100 just for the top of your head and then of course you have new beard options as well so you can get your Arthur looking spicy but that's still not it you even have new gun cosmetic options see you can even make your gun spicy but it still gets better we can't forget about our horse there's even new cosmetic items for your horse as well at the Stables you be greeted by a wide assortment of new options with new loadouts you can put on the back of your horse just got to be careful with some of these such as the miners and Hunters load out because if it's covering your saddle you're not going to be able to ride your horse but you're able to add a canteen and lasso canteen only lasso only add the Explorer set which I usually keep on my horse a prospector set or if that's not your thing you have new custom Saddles as well so whatever your flavor there is something for you these clothing and accessory Mods make me want to replay through rdr2 with these just alone and create so many options and variations to really customize your character whether you're Arthur Morgan or John Maron you could honestly just install this one mod and have the time of your life in rdr2 this mod is called Rampage trainer and this is a single player trainer for story mode that host and boasts a wide range of special features by default you open up the menu by holding F5 and there are menus upon menus for you to explore in the player menu you're able to replay specific scenarios so you can make Arthur do various commands depending on the scenario you pick you can play specific animations and you can even change Arthur's wardrobe so if you enabled a wardrobe cam you have a nice side by side view and you can even do random components so you can keep on going until you find the Arthur that you're looking for or you can go and customize each component one by one you're even able to load and save your outfits so you can switch between them on the Fly maybe you don't want to play as Arthur though you're able to play as any creature that you want and cause Havoc if you so choose you can even be any NPC available in the game you can change walk Style hair and weight and all in all just really customize your character you can spawn in various effects Sparks fire Rings water splashes smoke you're able to play emotes where you can be smoking you can even do voice lines where are you boy horse customization options are available as well so you can custom set your horse stats bonding level and you can even change your steeds accessories on the fly in the weapons menu you can add any weapon you want give yourself infinite ammo or you can get really crazy and give your ammo unique properties oh my goodness you can even enable your gun to revive characters after they've already died there's actually a lot of unique weapons the weapons get so crazy you can even become Thor you can change the time of day on the Fly which definitely comes in handy you can fullon change the weather to thunderstorms over to blizzards or even a hurricane in the middle of the desert or you can enable absolute chaos with a tornado and meteor showers oh my goodness my bad tumble weed and if you thought we were done there are many games here as well you can play Undead Nightmare 2 where you have to fight hordes of knife wielding zombies and try to survive to the end you have a counter on the top of the screen and after you get all 100 you get a spoopy surprise you can give yourself infinite money more items or even control your honor level Bounty can be decreased from Rampage trainer or you can even unlock your cores and collectibles this is definitely one of those mods you can't miss out on we all know Red Dead Redemption 2 has some of the best graphics in the market but even with the game looking this good you're able to take it up another notch the graphics mod I use is called visual Redemption this is a free work in progress mod that overhauls the graphics of Red Dead Redemption 2 various tweaks were made to the game in order to enhance the overall atmosphere and it's meant to give you the most realistic Graphics possible this mod doesn't only touch the graphics either this mod also overhauls various weathers and this really gets you way more immersed into this game shadow distance has been enhanced there's now Bloom fixes water has better Reflections and if you're familiar with red M for that online role playing experience this Graphics mod works for that as well and once you take a nighttime stroll in sandye I don't think you'll ever go back to the base Graphics this one Graphics mod really gives you what you need and now I can't play without it and this is totally a free mod from the raised mods website so even if it's not for you it doesn't hurt to give it a try first mod is called Eis and this is an upscale of the vanilla horses so the details on the horses are a lot better compared to the base game and with so many horses in the game this is a nice add-on if you look on the mod page as well you'll see that it has some optional mods you can add on to that you'll see in the requirements tab so you can add that mod on as well to get even better horse visuals and this mod only affects the vanilla horses so if you're using any of the online horses in the single player experience those textures will remain the same now it's time for a little Quality of Life mod this mod is called better character names this mod makes finding NPCs new and unique so instead of PEDs being named stranger they'll have a name more representing of their job title or if you're lucky and find a unique NPC you could find one with their own unique name so this could add another layer of depth to your gameplay now next we have a fun mod for you and this one allows you to ragd doll on command this mod is called GTA 5 style jump flop and if you jump and press the melee button you can you can rag doll on command and get into a fight get out me man trying to do a my showcase dog so as you can see if you accidentally flop into somebody they will try to bust you up but essentially at the to of a hotkey when you jump you can automatically flop I can definitely see some of you making some very funny moments with this but now it's time to get serious and expand our Horizons this next mod will help to increase the quality of your game this mod is called increase level of detail and this increases the visual Graphics of all the far asset you see so all the trees rocks and terrain will be in a much higher resolution even when you're viewing them from a long distance so as you're in game just riding those trees and mountains will look a lot better and then peering through Windows of stor should have little to no popping now so you can feel a little bit more immersion now keep in mind this definitely will affect your performance to a certain degree so if you're already struggling to run rdr2 I definitely wouldn't recommend adding this but if you do want to try this out there are a few different versions for you to choose from they have different quality versions from extreme all the way to potato mode PC so you do have a few options for you to choose from to test out and see how it works for your PC if you can run it though get ready to see the world in some high quality Graphics now moving on this next mod you need to be ready to fight this mod is called Sergeant Joe riot mode and this creates an absolute riot once you activate the mod all NPCs in the area will begin to fight and Riot people will go absolutely crazy and equip weapons they'll start to slice and dice you and now you got to fight for your life this is definitely a fun mod you'll see stores start to blow up I guess random animals appear cuz there's a gator that has popped up so if you're not using God mode good luck this mode can definitely add some fun if you're looking to go for a little bit of a rampage stay back Miss stay back so this is a cool little scrip mod that will make all nearby NPCs fight each other but if you happen to be in a rural area where there's nobody around this mod will spawn people in the middle of nowhere as well so you can basically use this anywhere you want and it even spawns animals so oh Arthur watch out dog good luck with this Arthur I didn't know Bears can come oh wait that's not Arthur that's John oh no John it's okay John this is a Rabbid bear just be ready to fight for your life next I think we need to relax and take a break so we've added this mod this mod is called gold panning and this allows you to pan for gold to find your riches this mod has a brand new gold panning mechanic that was inspired from the random prospector encounter you can get in the game so you set up your own gold panning Camp you fill a bucket full of water you fill your panning station up with that fresh water and then you pan for gold and sometimes you'll find gold and sometimes you won't and there are some pretty cool additional features that you could potentially run into but like the mod author said that's going to be for you to find out this mod adds various locations around the map where you can go gold panning so you can pan gold at almost any Coast so I definitely give this mod a try if you're looking for a immersive way to make your bank next though it's time to go shoot up some Bandits this mod is called penetration and now bullets can penetrate through objects such as wood so you're going to have to pick your cover spots a little bit more strategically so depending on your bullet type and the material that you're hiding behind bullets will now penetrate through this will make you find cover other than wood because cuz wood is no longer safe this helps to create a bit of realism because bullets would pass through wood pretty easily so good luck trying to survive now because you're going to need something sturdy like a brick wall but it affects NPCs as well too they're not immune this next mod is called special horses in the wilderness and this lets you find stable exclusive as well as special horses out while you're exploring so now you won't have to buy that stable exclusive horse or go to a specific location to find that special horse you can find them all just roaming about as you explore this beautiful game by default you have an 8% chance to find a wild horse just grazing upon grass but you can configure it to increase it or decrease it in the configurable any file next up we have a pretty unique trainer called playground which allows you to do the usual stuff such as spawning Vehicles spawning any ped that you want changing your character model teleporting changing the weather and time but where this trainer truly excels is the fun options here you're able to spawn a UFO and I can't lie it looks pretty clean but the best part is is you can ride it you can move across the land at lightning speed but if you wanted to you could be devious as well not saying you should destroy sandon or anything but you have that option you're able to launch a predator missile which will spawn a missile for you to control and then blow up this has a nice handy zombie apocalypse mod and a bunch of other options for you to play around with this even has an option to spawn a killable Micah and I know a few few of you have been asking for this one so you can spawn as many as you want and take care of your business this next mod is called Sergeant Joe bank robberies and this allows you to solo Rob five different banks in the game you'll have to eliminate the guards and then Force the bank tellers to give you the money but be wary the cops will come quick but if you can make it out successfully you can make it out with a boatload of cash you can rob banks in sandye Valentine Blackwater armad dealer and uh if I could find it if you can rob all five Banks without getting caught you truly are a master maybe you want to do something Above the Law though this next mod is called gunsmith business and this lets you have a legitimate business owning and selling guns there's a few different gunsmiths you can buy throughout the world and once you buy it for a hefty price you can really manage this business so you can order different kinds of supplies which will consist of different weapons you can even buy a room at the hotel purchase a wagon to help export your goods give a pay increase to your employees and buy extra storage you can even manage the prices of your weapons and your staff paycheck this truly lets you be the businessman or woman you're trying to be you even have the option to sell your business if you're tired of it which is a nice Added Touch you can only have one business at a time so be wary of that and choose your location wisely but this is definitely a cool mod to at least give a chance now this next mod is more of a hope and dream than something I can actually recommend but this mod is called Exquisite Surplus equipment and this is compatible able with the ym tri e merge and it gives you a bunch of new equipment such as the skeleton gloves and it even gives you a gun belt where you can actually equip your guns on each hip the only reason I can't recommend it is because it is kind of broken so you'll see in the holstering and the unholstering animations it is a bit glitchy and then for some coats as well as shirts it really bugs out and then it kind of glitches out the body textures as well but it does add some pretty cool and unique items it's just very glitchy in its current state this mod adds coat only belts and this is where you can find the unique holsters so right now we're using the Valentine Sheriff's dual wield gun belt but it even has Dutch's dual wield belt too so if you look at the mod page it does say it's broken so keep that in mind so this is a mod you could play around with if you can find the right fit without the glitches just know that is not perfect first mod we have is called clean red harlo John face retexture this mod makes Jon into red harlo himself and it even gives Jon a younger and cleaner look Jon has his scar removed and is replaced with red harlos and we've also used yam's DLC to try and recreate his original outfit could be a little bit more accurate but it's good enough for me but be sure to stick around to the end because we have another red harlo overhaul that will actually give you an outfit to use the next mod that pairs well with the previous one is called red Harlow's Weaponry this mod replaces various sounds names descriptions in the weapons catalog to more resemble what you found in Red Dead Revolver so you can have that true red Haro experience the weapons that are affected are the catlan revolver the double action revolver the Navy revolver Lancaster repeater Lichfield repeater the carbine and then the sonoff shotgun and of course each of these weapons has their own unique sound taken from Red Dead [Music] Revolver and you can see they sound pretty nice and then of course at the gunsmiths the compendium with the descriptions has changed as well so you can have fun learning about your new weapons now for someone that hasn't played Red Dead Revolver myself all these Mods make me want to try it so definitely let me know if it's worth a play through even in 2024 the next mod we have is called worthful Forest hunting and this mod makes hunting Predators so Bears cougars Panthers and wolves will fetch a heftier price while hunting Predators you put yourself more at risk so why not get the money you earn from hunting these dangerous creatures so now when you take your pelts to the Trapper you'll now fetch a better price for those pelts there's even a worthful tropical hunting mod so if you find yourself in the jungles of guarma you can get yourself a pretty nice price for those exotic pelts so now you'll have actually something to do when you download the fairy restored mod just make sure to download disable out of bound snipers so you don't get shot in the back of the head you're welcome next we have a convenience mod this mod is called autol so every time you kill an NPC it'll automatically loot that guy for you which really helps speed up the Looting process and really helpful if you're facing a big group of Bandits because sometimes you just don't know where all the bodies are so with this mod you don't need to know where they are it basically finds it for you and you'll still lose honor if you do a dastardly deed to a civilian so keep that in mind as well next you might have noticed we had a character swap or at least an outfit change and this is the other red harlo mod we were talking about this one is simply called red harlo this one isn't a reskin of John marsten Instead This is a custom ped you can spawn in so once you download it and install this mod all you need to do is go into Rampage trainer go to player into wardrobe and then model changer here you're going to do a custom input and all you need to type in is player two and accept once you do that you'll have everything you see here including the custom outfit that I tried to recreate with the clean red harlo mod but being able to spawn it in just like this is way more convenient Now red car's been staring into the Sun for a long time now let's help him with that this next mod is called sunglasses and this mod adds a custom pair of sunglasses to your character these glasses replace the Raven Talisman and they do look pretty Sleek now since I've never played Red Dead Revolver I'm not sure if he ever dual wielded any revolvers but from all the images I've seen I've only seen him with one so we had to add this next mod this mod is called optional dual wield so by locking onto your horse you can retrieve your off-hand holster to fit your character up with two holsters and then at any time you can Target your horse again and remove that offhand holster so you can go back to your single wield experience this mod even remembers the type of off-hand holster you had so it will re-equip the same holster you originally had and this mod kind of baffles me because it seems like this should have been something you could find in the base game but for some reason it wasn't our next mod is called unlock all weapons and this mod is as simple as it says this mod unlocks all weapons no matter where you're at in the game so even if you're in Chapter 2 and have a bunch of money you could buy any weapon that you want this mod does parallel with Smoke's Mega Arsenal as well since the weapons in that mod unlock as you progress the story so with the mod unlock all weapons you'll now have access to those almost 200 new weapons so it's definitely a nice thing to have now I have to start out with this weapon and this is the Chicago typew Rider last time I had some conflicting files so this time it's fully automatic this weapon fully replaces the Springfield rifle has its own unique custom design and it is fully automatic now last time when I downloaded this it wasn't fully automatic but I never check to see if I had any conflicting files in order for this to work you're going to have to get rid of any mods that have the weapons. ymt file so the mods I had that conflicted were the rifle holster mod and then the Western Euphoria so if you have your files all sorted out you should have the fully automatic version here's how it looks in combat [Music] definitely not low friendly but you will enjoy this our next gun is the Glock 18 it comes with its own custom sounds a nice slick reload animation and it's a highly realist IC model of the Glock 18 and you have to say this does look spicy now you can get the black or the silver finish and it even replaces the icon as well as the name in the weapons wheel you already know if Arthur had this gun back then you'd be calling him president Morgan now I know you want to see some combat so here's the Glock in action there's going to be a lot of GRA here I got enough bullets for all of you you're all going to die here come over here and now I know you saw that golden beauty of a gun right here and this is the AK-47 mod as you can see it's fully automatic and it comes in an old version as well as a nice golden one as well it's matched to be the same stats as what you would find in the real world and of course in the 1900s it's pretty overpowered this even has an audio overhaul you can download to get some more enhanced audio if you like that and is actually a really nice looking model [Music] [Music] Jesus godamn bastard see this place ain't very lucky for you fool definitely another fun fully automatic weapon that may not be lore friendly but it's definitely fun to use now in order to show these next few weapons we had to become John Wick so we installed the John Wick 1907 mod and this mod turns John Maron in to John Wick this mod takes away JN Scar and instead gives JN the other John scars and it's it's fitting that we're John Wick because our first weapon is called flight's combat master and this is the pistol in the third John Wick film this has custom weapon stats a 21 round capacity and it has some accurate animations yes this gun replaces the m1899 and you're fully aable to dual wield actually no I got enough W for all of what was [Music] that start definitely a great gun to get your John Wick on and I got to say it's not too bad to look at either now next we have a pretty powerful pistol this is the desert legal and this thing will lay you out this weapon has custom audio it has full animations and this replaces the m1899 pistol it comes in the silver or gold variant and it's looking welld [Music] designed now there were supposed to be a few other weapon mods such as the Bali M4 shotgun and the AR-15 rifle but for the life of me I could not get those guns to work but if we do get them working in the future we'll definitely have to Showcase them this first mod is called terrain textures overhaul and this mod replaces a lot of the terrain textures to higher Fidelity ones these texture Replacements are made from the ground up and they cover a large area so most of the map you'll see that the terrain has been upscaled to give you those crispy visuals and it even covers places like the sandon pavement so even the cities will get some love this mod however doesn't affect guarma and anything south of blackwat are still vanilla textures this mainly focuses on these story places you're likely to go and it's one of my go-to mods when I want to make the game look crispy this next mod is a recent addition into my mod list and this mod is called particles this mod adds new particle effects as well as improving their quality so for example you'll now see the dirt and grass kicked up as we're riding our horse you'll see new gravel rock and dust effects depending on the environment you're trampling on but it definitely doesn't stop there this mod also has new campfire effects I can't get enough of the campfires will have these new highquality ember effects as well as smoke to really enhance the effect and I'm glad I definitely stumbled upon this mod this mod even introduces new explosion effects to really sell it so whenever you do use an explosive you'll see rocks flying everywhere more smoke and all around a better time you even see added gunm smoke and Sparks when you shoot your weapon and if that's not reason enough to add this mod I don't know what it is another mod I've been playing around with is called increased level of detail and this enhances your graphics experience in a different way instead of upscaling the objects around you this instead upscales distant objects so the trees rocks and grass you see in the far back are now higher Fidelity so you'll experience less things popping in and out of focus such as trees loading in that can really break your immersion so this mod will help you to see further and with greater detail and this is a mod I'm truly loving I'm glad I found this one as well now it's time to actually get into the graphics mods the first one and the one we've been using so far is called cerium redone and this mod modifies a lot of different things for instance it modifies the time Cycles modifying both the day and nighttime brightness while improving the lighting system overall to create a more realistic experience you'll experience thicker fog harsher wind speeds for more severe weather and enhanced particles for precipitation you'll also have new cloud types and a smoother transition between weathers and to me this Graphics overhaul is a nice in between when we talk about the next two so you'll get a nice daytime brightness and a night time that's not too dark but the next Graphics overhaul we're going to talk about is a little darker and more gritty this next one is called ym visuals and this really gives rdr2 a new look night times are nice and dark and daytime has this certain kind of grit to it now just like the previous mod you'll see new cloud types so you'll get a little variation in the sky and you'll have this extra Sunny effect you'll see in most areas you can even download different versions of this mod so there's three different ones you can download but the one we've chosen is the one without the vignet just so we can get that clear picture this overhaul even comes with some pretty cool Misty effects when you happen to be in the swap area and you can see that this is a pretty cinematic one as well the sunrays cutting through the fog look absolutely Magnificent the Reflection from the water is mesmerizing and this mod as well has enhanced weathers as well as some new unique ones so it definitely shouldn't be overlooked now next we're going to the visual overhaul I'm currently using this Graphics overhaul is called visual Redemption and this is probably the brighter out of all the visual overhauls I've shown so far far so you have that nice daytime brightness that's not overly bright but you also get those nights that just look amazing when the moon is shining you really can see that illumination and I love the way this overhaul makes the fires look it definitely has a nice glow to it and these visuals are meant to make the game look more realistic so you see a bunch of new effects such as how heat waves look in the distance the way Shadows look improved water reflection Bloom fixes on various light sources and of course your weather enhancements now one of the of the reasons I really like this Graphics overhaul is because it pairs really well with a reshade and this reshade is called a visual Redemption and it's meant to work hand inand with visual Redemption so this is with the reshade on while this is with it off so as we alternate between scenes you can really see the difference Landscapes that were once do now pop with life this vibrant look may not be for everybody but that's what's great about visual overhauls there are different selections for different types of people I personally prefer the vibrant and bright type of texture overhauls I prefer the vibrant and bright type of overhauls so this setup is perfect for me but as you saw there's variations for everybody and if you didn't really find anything you enjoyed in this video showcase that is definitely okay because I bet you can find the overhaul you're looking for so if you pick your favorite visual overhaul out of the three shown today you can simply go to Nexus mods and search for a Reet to put on top of it so you never know what kind of visual style you'll get just by combining these and seeing what works best for you we also have a handy reshade tutorial which I'll leave Linked In case you've never downloaded reshade before because it can be kind of tricky these were some of my favorite visual overhauls for a Red Dead Redemption 2 hopefully you found one you enjoyed and if you didn't hopefully you know now how to get your own visual style there are a bunch of different reshades for you to try so experiment and have fun the first mod is called basic needs Final Cut and this mod has everything you need for a survival playthrough this mod adds a bunch of mechanics such as thirst hunger urination and exhaust exhaustion and it also adds new cores you can visually see to keep up with these new needs you need to find a body of water to stay hydrated and now you're equipped with a handy canteen you can refill at any water source and you can drink it while you walk and even if you're on your horse you need to make sure you eat as well so keeping a good stock of food will definitely be handy and of course keep in mind this mod is highly configurable so if any of the new cores are depleting too fast or too slow you can change the interval to whatever value you feel is right this mod also adds an equipment weight management system so the more equipment you're actively holding the more your stamina hunger and thirst will start to drain this also affects clothing as well so the more burdensome your coat or other accessories are it will really start to weigh you down exhaustion will also play a big part in this so you need to make sure you can get some z's so inside the survival menu this mod makes it really easy so you can easily set up camp where you need to rest and then sleep to boost your sleep core back up if you do neglect to sleep though your character will drop from exhaustion so do Arthur a favor and get those Z's you're able to keep clean at any water source by washing yourself and you're going to need to urinate from time to time and if this is an annoying mechanic you can always turn it off there are also some new environmental effects so for example if you're in the desert with the sun blazing without a hat your thirst core will drain at an accelerated rate so if you put a hat on it'll help you Shield that harshness from the Sun this mod is truly an all-in-one package for your role playing survival needs you can fully customize your experience by turning off the cores you don't want to deal with and even change the intervals to make it go faster or slower now a mod that was made to pair well with basic needs is called the humidity and temperature overhaul this also adds a new core for you to view and depending on your environment whether it's hot or cold you'll get a visual representation this core basically represents your weather resistance so if you're not properly equipped for the rain snow or water you could be in for some trouble so now you need to make sure you're dressed properly for the right environment if it starts to rain or snow your cores will start to drop as well so the best thing to do is to find some more indoors to wait it out this will help you to warm up and regenerate that core you can even regenerate Faster by chilling by a campfire or sitting in a tent this will lock your weather resistance at 100% for a certain amount of time and remember once it's safe be sure to relieve yourself so you can rehydrate now to complete this package we can't neglect the needs of our horse so we've added the horse needs mod as well this will give your horse three new cores for you to look after you have to make sure you maintain your horse's horseshoes make sure he's well fed and also let your horse drink from a body of water this is the complete survival package for your horse and it adds that extra bit of immersion to make sure you don't neglect this majestic beast we've also overhauled combat to change the way you play the injury overhaul mod adds four different ways for you to get injured you can now get injuries sustained on different different limbs with four different levels of seriousness and this can affect the way your character acts the more you get injured and the effects can vary from losing Health while walking or sprinting to not even being able to use dead eyee these effects are stackable as well so if you receive head and torso damage you could start to lose Health at a rapid pace which will take some time to recover and now if you're injured you will have new animations and that ranges from new idle animations to Injured limping while you're walking and even while you're on horseback it's that attention to detail that makes this mod truly great I would definitely recommend this mod for the animations alone these next mods will add so many things to do that you won't know what to do first we'll start off with ti your lasso this mod allows you to do a variety of things with your lasso now so once you hog tie your enemy you're able to use some environmental assets to put your lasso to full use so Arthur can finally get his Redemption for mic Bell you can even use trees and Bridges to get the job done as well you can even attach NPCs straight up to the ground so you can do whatever you need to do with them next is the duels mod this will allow you to duel almost any NPC to see who's really the fastest Gunslinger this was definitely a pretty fun mini game so I'm glad you can actually do it whenever you want now the next mod is called viable properties and this allows you to buy various properties as well as hotel rooms to make your own so you you can buy yourself a nice cozy hotel room that you don't have to pay for every time you want to take a sleep this mod even has a few properties you can customize so you can truly live in your dreamhouse the next mod is called stage coat robbery this mod gives you more opportunities to Rob stage coaches all around the map which will give you a little bit more variety in your everyday play the next mod is called amjm transport and this allows you to make money doing deliveries so if you go to the General Store you're able to take on various jobs as well as buy your very own wagon or hot air balloon once you buy Your Wagon you're able to customize it to your heart's content so you can change whether or not you have a cover some minor changes to the structure and can even change the color as well as the color you can change some of the graphics and now you're ready to get to work you just need to go to the general store to pick your job and you're good to go and then you can start your new transport career these next two mods really change the way you interact with trains using the wait for a train mod you can actually wait for a train with a prompt you can then buy a ticket and then you'll see the train pull up now once you've entered the Train the railroad engineer mod allows you to fully control the train so you're able to chuga chuga Choo Chu you can set way points on train tracks and then instantly teleport as well you're able to choose the direction of your track and railro engineer has a handy menu with a bunch of different options so even if you didn't have a train you can spawn in your own custom train so you can even even have a trolley in places you're not supposed to have a trolley there's a lot of different options too so you can boost the speed of your trains as well as rotate the train directly on the tracks definitely a cool mod to add some spice to your train station Shenanigans I will definitely be adding this to my main mod list that's for sure next is the mod bounty hunting expanded and enhanced this adds a variety of features as well as new bounty hunting posters for you to find them and this mod basically gives you endless missions as well as integrate Random Encounters into the world you can accept Bounties in towns and then you can do what bounty hunters do you can either take your target Dead or Alive in various locations and then you can take them to the local police department and you can get a pretty nice stack of cash by completing all these bounties and like I said earlier this mod does add in random events as well and these all aim to make your bounty hunting experience more lively you can encounter rival bounty hunters that are out collecting posters just like you and if you both happen to pick up the same poster you may have to face the challenge of taking them out as well bounties you taken alive also have the chance to be publicly hanged and then in the wilderness you have the opportunity to take a Target away from another Bounty Hunter so if you take out the Bounty Hunter you can take the prisoner and claim the reward for yourself definitely a mod worthy of making it into your mod list this next mod allows you to create your own gang the custom gang mod turns you into Dutch you'll have a new custom map marker where you'll talk to a new strange man you can choose from a few different presets of gangs or totally make it custom you can even choose where your Camp is set up so you'll have a new Homestead where you and your new gang can prosper you're able to interact with your new gang members and you can even do custom heists so you can do anything from free roaming with your gang all the way to Wagon jailbreaks you can manage and upgrade your gang's horses View and upgrade weapons for your gang as well as purchase some additional armor and then of course upgrade your Camp as well so now you can really find out if you could have done it better than Dutch himself the next mod is something you've been seeing the whole time it's called Dynamic seasons and this brings all four seasons into rdr2 the mod won't change the seasons necessarily as you play the game this instead changes Seasons after you close your game session so depending on your settings every time you leave and then load back into the game your season could be totally different each season comes with its own unique color palette which adds a unique touch and if you're not sure what season you're in as you load up you'll be greeted by a custom notification temperatures will now change as well depending on the season you're in and even the sunrise and sunset times will change so you can see the summer icon up here which is pretty cool for this mod to add but I got to say the best season is Autumn which I'll show you with this next mod hunting grounds the mod hunting grounds will give you a more Dynamic animal experience you'll now have varying sizes for each animal so you can see smaller than usual or even bigger than usual and now if you over hunt in a certain area the animal population will decrease so you have to wait a period of time for those animals to recover you're even able to join all new hunting competitions to add some competitiveness to your hunts next we have a mod called Moonshiner roll and this brings Red Dead online's moonshine system into single player you'll start out by having to rescue a man called Clint which is only one real way to do it and once you rescue this fine fella you're able to set up your new operation anywhere you want your new moonshining Camp will be built here you'll have bodyguard protecting your assets you'll have Clint running the operation and you can even deliver your moonshine with delivery missions as your moonshine operation grows you'll even be able to sabotage other Moonshiners so you can be the best in the business another cool mod you can add is called pickpocketing this allows you to pickpocket any NPC so you're able to collect a few dollars here and there until you get caught this is where the mod bar braws comes into action this allows you to start fights in some of the saloons so you can have fights similar to what you see in story mode and start an allout brawl at the bar you can even do some of these story mode finishers this mod allows you to truly get drunk and have some fun after losing all your money at the bar though it's time to take on some odd jobs the mod called jobs expanded allows you to take on different jobs to help fill your pockets back up you can do anything from being a ranch hand to even being a postman the last mod to help us round everything out is a mod called role players dream this mod allows you to do various actions you see other NPCs do so you can interact with a variety of objects you can light one up on command and even lean on pretty much anything you can now sit on most all of the seats that you can find you're even able to just clean your gun as one of the actions and if you want to jam out to some tunes you can find a guitar or even pull out the harmonica we'll first start off with more persistent weathers and this mod allows you to enjoy the weathers a bit more each weather type will last a lot longer you'll run into random bad weather types and now when you load into the game or even when you sleep at a hotel in the game you can wake up from a random weather effect or the weather you had before will still persist through the game a very handy mod especially when you pair it with basic needs Final Cut or the temperature and humidity overhaul from the part one video next we have the mod Zen and this is an alternative for the mod role players dream that allows Arthur to use NPC exclusive scenarios so you'll be able to lean on a variet of objects you'll be able to sit down on chairs and benches and even sleep on beds that you just find on the ground and I can tell Arthur really wanted to do this because he just looks so calm I think we can all agree he needs some peace in his life this mod allows you to even interact with buckets filled with water so you can get a drink or wash up and one of the best parts about this mod is that when you're doing an NPC action you have another list of actions you can initiate so you can start to tidy up your boots to scrub them free of dirt you could clean up the nooks and crannies of your favorite weapon you can Whittle some wood which I don't know if Arthur's enjoying much and then even play a variety of instruments so if you didn't know Arthur could play the guitar well now you know he's an absolute beast at it this mod just adds so many cool immersive scenarios that you can interact with on the Fly and it's an absolute musthave to get the most out of your immersive experience and one of the great things about the Zen mod is that it's compatible with a few other mods as well that's why we've added the mod Serenity to this Serenity adds a bunch of quality of life features to help increase your immersion so you can do things such as sitting wherever you want to enjoy that breeze on your face and if you're near a body of water you're able to drink some as well as wash up your horse is even able to hydrate with you and these actions have an effect in the game so as you clean yourself up you're actually cleaning the dirt and grime off of your character and drinking water or resting will restore your stamina core and once you rest your hor will rest right next to you too which is a super nice feature for serenity to have I think your horse deserves some rest too and if you have this mod installed with the Zen mod as well you're able to take any prop that you're using and of course walk with it which is another nice feature by combining these mods the next mod we've added also pairs well with these last two ones and this mod is called seats and you could sit down with the other mods as well this mod just ensures you have even more seats available for you to sit at and this Gamal has a lot of different seats in options so this mod just let you fully use those options who knew Arthur was such a musician though damn we need to leave the saloon though and go across the street to the bank banking the old American art mod gives Banks a reason to exist in the game now so now the in-game banks have a new purpose and now you can actually deposit money so you don't lose any when you die and if you install this mod it is a good idea to deposit the money because this mod adds the mechanic of when you do die you lose all of your money which makes sense because because whoever killed you is probably going to run your pockets and this next mod will make you want to keep your money nice and safe this mod is called less money economy reworked and this reduces the money you do make in game whether it be from robberies looting bodies or even from these story missions money is more scarce and it never made sense that you could acrw thousands of dollars and that's still not take you to Tahiti this helps to balance the scales now these next few mods will help to balance the scales of combat the first mod is called realistic loadouts and this gives various NPCs and factions new weapons it increases the variety of weapons you'll see with each faction type you'll start to see new weapon skins and even unique weapons associated with that specific faction so now not every Gunslinger you see will have the same rifle or pistol some NPCs will even be wielding these story locked weapons which are some of these special rare weapons which you may be able to loot after you kill them and now to keep with the realism we've added a mod called realistic reload so so now there's no more fast reloading in combat so you have to pick the opportune time to reload your weapon so make sure to make your shots count paired with this we have the no dead ey reload mod so you can't reload in the middle of Dead Eye which will prevent you from reloading super fast while you're in that slow motion no glow for pickups also comes installed with this mod so now the weapons on the ground won't have that soft white glow so now you'll actually have to look to find that weapon we also have a mod called no hit markers so you won't get that visual feedback once you hit a shot the only indication you'll get is if the enemy stops shooting back so your Crosshair won't even turn red even if it's on the enemy we also have no ammo pickups so just hovering over a body you won't automatically pick up ammo you'll actually have to loot bodies in order to pick up more ammo now but now you're going to have to be careful while doing this in combat because we've added the disabled enemies on radar so now you'll have no indication on the mini map where your enemies are the Red Dot won't pop up and so instead you'll have to use Sight and Sound to pinpoint where your enemies exactly are really adding to the difficulty of combat but we've balanced the scales with this next mod this next mod is called realistic accuracy and this decreases the accuracy of most factions but the factions you expect to have higher accuracy will have higher accuracy this prevents the law men from Auto aiming you while still keeping their accuracy a little bit higher than other factions and overall keeping accuracy realistic for the time so combat won't be unfair it'll be just right we've also added a mod to balance the scales of the law and this mod is called law this mod provides a variety of changes and enhancements when it comes to the law system so now the law response is dictated from the region you're in performing small crimes won't necessarily elicit a response from the law and there are even some areas out in the wild where you won't get a law response at all just because it's so remote and depending on the severity of your crimes you could run into some pretty severe consequences I'd rather take a a gander at the imod page and read what it's all about cuz this does offer some unique changes compared to the crime and law mod it just depends overall what you like better next we have the realistic economy rebalance mod and this mod aims to make the economy more balanced as well as more historically accurate so you have more realistic prices at stores for example more realistic weapon prices and it even helps to balance the prices of animal pelts and skins and if you are trying to make a little extra money hunting you have to install the realistic hunting mod this helps to give you more realistic animal loot more options for clean kills and now you can use more options when it comes to Firearms to kill smaller game so now you can get clean kills with a variety of weapons as long as you shoot them in the appropriate spot and then with the more realistic animal loot you'll gain more resources especially from the bigger creatures so you'll get more meat and animal fat depending on what animal you're hunting and with all that new fresh meat you have I'm sure you want to know the calorie count well with the mod calorie descriptions you can now as you look at Provisions any food that can alter the weight of you or your horse will now indicate if it's low or high calories so if it doesn't affect your weight much it will say something like low calories but if it's something packed with calories it'll say hi so this will help you to get your weight in check if that's something you're watching in game we've also opted for the realistic worn gun medals mod to give our guns a more realistic worn look this is the first time I'm trying this mod and I like the way it looks they're not too shiny or too rusted they just look like they've seen some action definitely a great mod to give your weapons that character now the last mod I've added is a reshade and this one is called Rd reshade this reshade pairs really well with the graphics mod I'm using and it comes with a few different presets as well right now we're using the filmic look but they also have a black and white version and extreme quality a new version Ultra extreme and then a fully cinematic one I really enjoyed the look that this Reade gave me as it really helped to change up the Ambiance these mods were some of the most immersive mods you could add into your rdr2 this mod is called realistic hot air balloon in this has a spawnable hot air balloon anytime that you want it it comes with some pretty straightforward controls so you can Ascend and descend you can rotate the hot air balloon as well and of course go forward and back so you have full control of your destination this hot air balloon isn't the fastest vehicle but if you're looking to take in some beautiful sights or maybe just easily climb a Mountaintop this mod is definitely not a bad choice even in first person mode you can really see the depth and from up here rdr2 still looks beautiful wow you could even use this to get the jump on some Bandits and unleash some punishment just don't forget that you're in a hot air balloon and jump out the next mod is a relatively new one and this mod is called ultraviolent this is a new ragd doll mod that changes up the game so as you're raining Terror on NPCs you'll see that they have all new animations and it all depends on where you shoot them and there are a lot of different Euphoria mods out there so you just got to pick one that you like and then roll with it but this one is pretty cool the NPCs drop super fast when you shoot them especially if you hit them in the head they drop to the ground like dolls this one is definitely in my top Euphoria mods of course next to the first one I showcased in the last video this one is pretty nice as well I will definitely be keeping this on for a bit longer to uh play around the next mod is called non-combat stance execution and this allows you to execute NPCs even when you're not in a combat situation so this allows you to go up to any NPC and basically execute them whenever you want so you're no longer tied down to be in a combat situation to do these animations you can basically do them whenever you want to and this is something I didn't even know was a thing until I actually saw the mod this is definitely a cool lightweight mod that you can basically use in uh any situation another mod that we are using is called Head bleed and this basically bleeds every head that you shoot so if you hit a head shot that head will bleed no matter what and then you can slowly watch your NPC just struggle bust it until they eventually bleed out oh what are you doing man bro chill dog chill chill chill chill this is also compatible with Euphoria mods so you can get the best of both worlds the next mod is called cut dialogue enhanced and this is a subtle mod that adds unused voice lines in different situations it is one of those mods you may not even notice but it does add that detail into the game and these new unused voice lands can be heard in a multitude of situations so when you're in the stores purchasing items you can hear some lines if you're under Fire and cover if you just want they fight against some Bandits or if you get into fights with the lawmen if I'm being honest I don't even know if I would be able to tell the difference between the voice lines myself I definitely need to run through the story again vanilla but for all the people that have played the story mode a multitude of times this mod could certainly add to the experience the next mod is called Old Lantern and this brings out the first Lantern Arthur ever pulls out which is definitely better designed than the lantern they give you in the base game it is a small mod but if you prefer this Lantern design why not now this next mod was a request and I was basically asked if there was a mod to prevent weapon degreg and the good news is there is and the mod is called No Weapon degreg so no matter how many times you fire your weapon and get that carbon build up in the barrel or just having some fun in the mud your weapon will stay pristine the next mod is called remove speed limits so if you're tired of being slow in certain situations you can now press a hot key to disable that now this is more beneficial in story mode in situations where you're in the campsite or in scenarios where you're forced to walk sometimes you don't want to take it slow and steady and get to where you're going now if you play rdr2 with a PlayStation controller whether that's a PS4 controller or a PS5 controller this mod will definitely help you out this mod is called PlayStation icon replacement and by default on Steam at least if you plug in a controller it's going to default to the Xbox control scheme so if you have a PlayStation controller you're kind of out of luck this mod changes that by allowing you to see the Playstation controls on screen just a quality of of Life mod for us PlayStation controller users on PC the next mod is called automatic greet reply and as you may have guessed Arthur will automatically reply with a greet to any NPC that greets him morning you look a right Miss don't you worry about it okay good morning mister morning hey hi there okay there things you a simple yet fun mod to let Arthur be his own man the next mod allows you to do this you can travel the map anywhere you want at any speed that you want and this mod is called Red Dead free cam and for whatever creative purposes you want this is a mod that you can use you can use it to get some b-roll if that's what you're looking for or maybe you wanted to see what was on that high ground this is a mod that gets it done for you and this is a lightweight mod that just works it has simple controls you can change the field of view you can roll your image and you can even enable different kinds of filters if you want as you can see they have the the drunk filter too I didn't even know that this even has a settings menu where allows you to change a lot of variabilities such as the weather the time of day and a lot of other things you'll have to play with but definitely a cool mod for your creative Endeavors the next mod is called camp anywhere in this mod essentially allows you to set up a camp wherever you please you're able to sleep or sit in your tent Rest by the fire and I've paired this mod with the AutoCraft mod so instead of holding down the button traditionally in order to cook your food or store it this mod will automatically do it for you so you can cook your bird or game meat on autopilot this also works for ammo crafting as well so you can craft all the ammo you need handsfree so once you find that perfect little spot for Arthur to rest why not set up camp and relax for a little bit the next mod is called vesia and this is another graphical and environmental overhaul this is is another chice of mod that overhauls the visuals of rdr2 this mod comes with five new weather types as well so you can experience rdr2 in some pretty crisp visuals but all in all it is a pretty beautiful mod in order to enhance your graphics just be wary this can be pretty heavy on your PC so you'll need a decent rig in order to run this next we have a mod called Quick Draw and this allows your gun to automatically be cocked so when you pull it out you're ready to fire you no longer have to wait that second in order to take out your gun and start shooting paired with this mod we have the no combat stance so even in combat Arthur Morgan won't have that ugly Hunchback animation so you can stay strong and do your business come on Officer Morgan hit him next we have a mod called horse load out and this mod adds a Sleek holster as well as a lasso and canteen to your horse so now you can cruise around your horse in some style the next mod is use weapons in Camp and this mod is basically for story mode but it allows you to take out your gun even if you're with Dutch in the game back at Camp just in case you wanted some justice for Micah the next mod is called ambient events and this is a mod that will occasionally spawn random events around you so you can see things such as bounty hunters trying to capture somebody all out brawls between people or even new random shootouts this will definitely help to add some more variation to rdr2 we're going to start off with a mod called guiding wind we know rdr2 is beautiful but sometimes there's so many things to do that it gets distracting constantly looking at the map can take you out of the experience so this mod helps you to get back into the game so right now it's pretty calm but on the map if we set a way point behind us you'll notice that the wind starts to blow and you see grass and leaves blowing towards us with this mod wherever you set your Waypoint the wind will guide you in that direction the grass will start to move and the trees will start to sway and if the wind isn't strong enough you can press a hot key to give the wind a big gust which could come in handy from time to time if you pair this with turning off your HUD you can really get a more immersive experience when it comes to rdr2 turning off the map and letting the wind guide you can certainly turn this game into a new experience now this mechanic was taken from a game called ghost of sushima which had this sort of guiding wind system and I think it works really well in rdr2 this next mod is a mod I can't believe I found until now this mod is called personal boat you have to head to L grass in order to buy a boat and talk to this lady there are a few different boats to choose from you can repair any damaged boats and you can even fully customize it so you can change up the color you can add different decorations and you can even change up the lighting setup you're now free to set sail and wherever you land this mod will remember where your boat is so you won't have to come back here to retrieve it it'll be left at the last spot you docked you can also steal other people's boats and sell it to make a little bit of that side Cash There's also new random events that can occur on the water so new boats will spawn in and they are ripe for the T and you can even customize the frequency of which these boats spawn this mod has quickly become one of my favorites the next mod makes drinking fun again this mod is called bottoms up as long as you have an alcoholic beverage in your inventory you can press a hot ke and automatically equip it from here you can just take a drink so you're not restricted to just the bars to have a nice drink you can walk the streets of sandin with a beer in your hand drinking to your heart's content or even better grabbing a bruski and taking a nighttime stroll by Bottoms Up Arthur now a mod that's prettyy much must have at this point is called crime and law rebalance this fixes some of the issues you see in the vanilla version of rdr2 to make the law system a bit better minor crimes are mostly ignored now any crimes committed in the wilderness is now Lawless territory which makes sense because who's going to see you commit that murder right and if you decide to rob a train that's no longer an instant wanted level there's honestly a bunch of different changes from witness improvements better AI for the law man load outs of the police officers and a bunch more so I definitely recommend reading up on the mod page to check out all the features now with all these new mods installed you surely want to enjoy the beauty of the daytime but as you know the days are short and the Night comes quick but there is a mod called longer days this mod allows you to modify how long an in-game day lasts for this is a really simple way to customize that time scale and it even comes with features that will automatically disable itself if you're in a story Mission with a Time requirement it doesn't get any better than that but sometimes that weather change can be beautiful as well unfortunately sometimes the weather comes and goes like the passing of the wind fortunately for us there's a mod called persistent weather this is a mod that will allow all weather types to persist a little longer you even have a chance for bad weather to occur when you first load up the game or when you wake up from going to sleep weather will persist through sleep as well sometimes or even after you've quit the game so no longer will you go to sleep and wake up to a sunny day every single time all the settings are configurable in the anyal provided by the mod so you can truly customize it as well now next is a mod that brings online content into single player the mod is called Red Dead offline and this mod brings all the weapons the accessories the clothing from Red Dead Redemption Online into story mode so by going to the various vendors found throughout the game you'll be able to buy new items so by naturally progressing through the game you'll be able to unlock more and more stuff to buy so at the traper you're able to buy and craft new items and these will be found in the accessories tab so you have a couple of different rings for your left and right hands gun belt accessories and now you'll have access to all 42 legendary animal hoods and it covers everything whether you're looking for a cougar head an alligator helmet Beaver heads wolf heads all the way up to bison and I would say some of these look really good on your character definitely something that should have been implemented in the base game honestly there's even a couple of new boots a new Poncho and a lot more weapon accessories the tropper isn't the only place you can get these new items though if you head to the fence right around the corner here you can find a lot of weapons and some handy items so you have a lot of added weapons from the multiplayer experience and while you're here you might as well pick up the metal detector we'll talk about that in a bit you even have some new throwables and some new ammo types now I haven't really experienced the Rd online experience so a lot of these weapons are definitely new to me like the hammer I think this one's new too yeah the Viking hammer you have a pretty cool added machete looks like something I could use in my zombie series and you even have a pair of shears you get a new knife called The backshot Knife antler knife Civil War knife Jawbone knife which looks really cool it looks like a uh a tooth or something yeah wide blade knife ornate dagger and a lance knife there's even a couple of cool revolvers this one is Mike Low's revolver which comes with some pretty cool custom designs and then the Navy revolver as well which looks like it'll definitely pack a punch there's also some cool new lanterns such as the electric lantern you got the glabella Lantern too which is a nice Halloween Vibes type of lantern and then you actually get some refined binoculars too which makes dig sites glow from a great distance I'm guessing this would work with the dinosaur bones you can find in game but now it's time to bring out that metal detector that we bought from the fence the metal detector mod brings in the ardio the metal detector mod brings in the metal detector mechanics that were found in multiplayer into your single player experience so as you roam the map with the metal detector equipped it'll lead you to Treasures that you can dig up and you can find a wide variety of items ranging from coins to Gold Bars this mod is called visuals by WM this mod Alters some of the visual aspects of the game with the mindset of not trying to have the most realistic Graphics but still make your game look crispy there are now new weather variants as well so you'll see some new heavy clouds from time to time the Sun will be extra sunny and all around better visuals in general there's also a built-in no glow for pickup items so you no longer see the glow of items you can pick up if you're looking for a bit of realism this Graphics mod will definitely help you your rdr2 experience to be a lot more crispy and I personally didn't have any big performance hits some graphics mods can eat your FPS but wm's visuals didn't have a significant impact for me which is always a plus moving on we're going to clean up some of this dust that Arthur accumulated this mod is called the Strawberry Hot Springs and this simply makes a hot spring next to the in in Strawberry it's great for a daytime dip but it's not too bad to take a nighttime dip as well you have some cozy ambient light and some coziness you can enjoy any day of the week but maybe you want to take a different type of vacation you can either buy yourself a ticket or ask this man to smuggle you into guarma and once you do you'll have a nice little cut scene to immersively take you over there you are now free to explore guarma once again it even looks like they set you up with a horse so you can travel the island so you can feel free to sightsee and maybe even collect some herbs and animals you missed the first time this definitely is one of the cool mods that have come out recently I'm going to have to do some exploration myself cuz gma's looking kind of beautiful when you're done with Gua though you can go back to the dock where you were dropped off and return to sandini or Blackwater just make sure you don't quit the game while you're in Gua otherwise you're going to mess up everything which you make safe passage back to the mainland and free to travel back to Gua whenever you want to now I know you've been wondering what kind of gun Arthur Morgan is handling and this is called the Chicago Typewriter this weapon mod has been out for a while but now there is a merged patch so you can use y's DLC alongside side with this weapon and the Chicago Typewriter definitely has a lot of detail to it now this is supposed to be full auto but I think the full auto part of this is broken right now I know a lot of people in the comment section of the mod page have not been able to get it to work but here's hoping there's an update in the future now our last mod on our list today is called keep weapon Loadout dismounting and this lets you keep your weapon when you're dismounting your horse it was always annoying every time you went on your horse with weapons or you took weapons from your horse dismounted and Arthur would automatically put it back on the horse this simple mod solves that simple problem and I like it I like it a lot this mod is called rdrfr otherwise known as Red Dead Redemption first responder you can have shootouts with Bandits hunt down Outlaws and walk the streets with the badge on your chest this is a complete overhaul turning your character into a law-abiding police officer there are multiple police precincts which you find in places such as sandine you have one in RADS Valentine and of course a few others as well well at these police stations you can go on duty and once you're on duty it's time to cruise the streets eventually citizens in need will come up to you asking for help if you choose to accept you'll be sent on the mission to help them out and there are a wide variety of scenarios that you could encounter such as transporting prisoners to other towns investigation type missions and even some missions you'd never expect an example of another mission would be a kidnapping so this CTI and just ran up to us and told us about a kidnapping nearby so now it's your duty to solve the crime you're also able to recruit fellow lawmen to come assist you and provide backup and if you don't want to just Cruise the street waiting for Action you are able to press a hotkey to immediately receive a mission now there are additional add-ons you could add to this rdrfr mod which allows you to basically unlock even more scenarios and you basically have four different options which will add a lot of variety you can add one or all of them to really enhance your experience and give you some more variety these additional mods are called basic Wild West sneaky and Chaos call outs you have all new missions such as pickpocketing or even full-on bank robberies and you can't go wrong adding a bit of flavor into your gameplay we got to keep the crooks off the street right and once you've arrested your suspect you can request transport and once you've done that an officer will show up and take your prisoner back to the station that's one less Criminal on the streets now in order to give us even more opportunities to take out the bad guys as an officer of the law we've added Bandit hideouts which adds 105 different Bandit hideouts for you to basically have unlimited shootouts with this mod also adds ambushes into the world ambiently and this mod is highly configurable you're able to choose what Gams you see or even dictate the amount of bance that you encounter these Bandit hideouts regen over time as well so you have the opportunity to replay your favorite hideouts over and over again paired with this we have a mod called ambient gang and this adds even more gangs into rdr2 for you to shoot there are a few gangs you're familiar with as well added directly from rdr1 which will help to give you even more variation playing as a law man the ambient gangs will even fight each other if they run into each other so it doesn't feel like they're just gunning for you these two mods will basically give you unlimited gameplay and shootouts and there's no way you can't have fun with it moving on you can't really be a law man without looking intimidating that's why we've added the Giga Arthur mod this mod makes Arthur look like he's been doing the Bro split and eating plenty of venison this is probably the Arthur muscle overhaul to go with or at least it's my favorite because it's compatible with the tattoo mods if you plan on adding those as well we've also added a rifle holster mod and this time we've opted for the slim version so the rifle equipped directly on that back slot will now have a minimalistic strap securing it to Arthur and speaking about weapons we've added the realistic metal gun work mod which gives the gun medals in rdr2 a more realistic look so if you don't want your guns to stand out as much as the shiny gunmal rework you can try out this version to see how you like it now last but not least is the Smoky complete mod which allows you to smoke any time that you want so with the simple tap of a hotkey you can plug a cigarette or a cigar and smoke them this does passively regenerate your dead eyee as well so it's not just a cosmetic mod but actually a mod that will help you in game as well you're even able to light one up as you deliver Justice to some bad guys which is actually pretty cool you're able to hold it in your hands and have Arthur ambiently smoke your cigarette or if you hold the hotkey a little bit longer he'll just stick it in his mouth and it'll rest there this is definitely a mod I will be keeping in my list just because it's so smooth and it has some in-game benefits as well if you've never tried playing on the good side of the law in rdr2 definitely give rdrfr a try it is definitely a great time and you have the infinite potential for fun you can turn Red Dead Redemption 2 into undead nightmare with these mods the first mod is called Bandit hideouts and you can configure this mod to have zombies roaming about the lands they'll attack friendly NPCs as well as you if you're not careful and now on the map there are now zombie layers at these zombie layers will be hordes of zombies just waiting to attack you your goal is to clear out the infestation and Survive by any means necessary but be careful because these zombies will box you up you can quickly get surrounded and overwhelmed so make sure you have plenty of ammo or a bodyguard or two to back you up the next mod on our list is vampire Arthur Morgan this is a vamp daddy version of Arthur where you can see new white hair on him red eyes and a paler skin tone so as you fight the undead you can be Undead yourself and now since we live in these new harsher times we have to use the oxidized weapons mod this puts oxidized textures on various weapons so that you can really role play like you're actually trying to survive you're not going to find a super polished gun in these dark times so this is the perfect gun mod to add to to your zombie mod list for rdr2 next we have the undead horse mod which gives Arthur Morgan's horse an undead look so you can see that the horse looks half eaten you can see the ribs and then on the back hind left leg it looks like it's about to fall off this is the perfect undead horse for a perfect Undead Arthur we've also changed the map up a bit by taking the map textures from the undead Origins 2 mod and adding it to our Red Dead Redemption if you played the original Undead Nightmare you'll know that this is familiar you have that nice yellow text map and then the color red identifying water the mod Undead Origins 2 allows you to go head-to-head against even more types of zombies some of these zombies will be of the knife wielding variant and you can guarantee they won't give you any Mercy you'll see that a few of these settlements have fallen some towns have been set a fire and buildings boarded up the locals have set fire to their own town in an attempt to kill the undead you may even see towns people taking refuge on the rooftops in order to get to safety but now it's up to you you can let the town perish or give a hand now with all these zombies roaming about you're going to need some backup bodyguard spawner will allow you to do just that it allows you to spawn in up to seven different bodyguards which are all customizable with a handy little menu so you can choose random bodyguard and you'll get either a male or female bodyguard randomized with different weapons and outfits or you can go the custom route in the custom route you can choose a model and you can choose either male female someone from the gang or you can even have custom NPCs so once you select your category you can select the model and then select spawn in your new bodyguard will spawn in and you can choose the outfit that they wear so you can change through various outfits you can see in the story and if you choose just the basic male or female you can change their sidearm or long arm but if it's a gang member they're going to be using their normal setup once you click confirm that's it that bodyguard rotect you with their life they all have their own horses as well so once you get on your horse your bodyguards will saddle up as well which almost makes it feel like you got the Old Dutch gang back together now if you want the undead theme for John marsten this is a mod called Undead Cowboy it comes with a bunch of different outfits and this is recreated from undead nightmare from the original game it comes with high quality original textures and you even get the animation straight from the game you may have noticed Joe Miller as well which is a custom added ped you can add to your game he comes with a few different outfits as well including a backpack to really give you that last of us Vibe he does use these same animations as John Maron so he may act like a zombie from time to time if you have the undead Martian mod added as well to complete our bodyguard Loadout we have the added mod dog companion as well and this allows you to pet any dog that's in the game and then bond with it this furry fellow Will guard you with their life as well but if I'm being honest I almost deleted this mod from my mod list altogether if you install this mod by itself you're your dog will just constantly bark that's why we have the Shut up dog mod so your dog will stay quiet but by your side as well it is the best of both worlds as you can see artham Morgan has some extra girth on him this is thanks to the gigachad Arthur mod which turns artham Morgan into well uh a straight up gigachad you're going to need all those muscles for the amount of zombies you need to slay next up we've given Arthur Morgan some viking tattoos the mod is called John and Arthur get tattoos and they do have a couple different versions this is the Viking version but they have Yakuza and the guarma tattoos as well which is more of like a island kind of vibe now with this mod in particular since we have the vampire Arthur Morgan mod there is a neck seam but if you have the right clothing on you won't even see the difference one quick thing I found out you can get a lantern in the stable if you have the wi's DLC merge like I do and this definitely helps you out once you hear about this next mod the mod darker night will have you second guessing whether you should have stayed home and slept to the morning time these zombies from the previous mods are even more frightening at night and they come in numbers if you don't bring your horse Lantern or some kind of light source of your own you could get truly lost in the sauce so be sure to pack some kind of light because you're going to need it and that's mostly because of the next mod disabl enemy radar disables enemies that appear on your radar so now it's darker and you don't know where the enemies are coming from the good luck going out at night with all these zombies roaming about we have to add a little juiciness to the cause this mod is called yim's blood bath and this adds more blood deal into the game so all in all you'll get a lot more bang for your buck you'll get all the pop that doesn't stop the impact of your bullets will really feel like impacts which is going to be super fun mowing down hordes of zombies it just doesn't get old damn and it doesn't stop at just long range weapons you can get up close and personal with these zombies as well and still have a bloody time definitely a fun mod whether you have zombies or not we also have a mod called improved hit markers which gives your hit markers a different look mostly a little bit smaller and the shape has changed just a little bit but it's definitely less intrusive I hated seeing that big red X every time I hit a shot so this helps to keep it a little bit more minimum and then one of the mods I can't play without is called different camera angle this provides a different kind of offset for each fov that you have in game and it's one of the camera mods I do prefer because you get to see more of your character's full body instead of just focused on the upper half like the vanilla camera and to blend it all together reusing a mod called SEI visuals which gives a game a different Unique Look it even comes with four unique custom weathers that are a bit more intense to really put that emphasis on the zombie apocalypse these are the best mods that will turn John Maron back into John Martin we have a few mods that fully restore John Maran that do things such as bring back his angry stare bring back his iconic walk and even upscale his outfits as well as add-on new ones so if you're looking to make John great again this is the video for you we start off with a mod called the John maren restoration project this mod helps to improve your experience playing as John maren John's head model has been replaced with the beta models you saw in the pre-release screenshots this mod even gives John some more outfits and some of these outfits the NPC version of John could use but for some reason the player version can't this mod helps to restore that this mod truly helps to separate the way you play as Arthur and John in order to find this new clothing you can go to any fence at the game here you'll see a new clothing option inside this menu any clothing option you buy will be available for you to wear even if you go back to your wardrobe they also have fullon outfits you can buy such as the 1911 Gunslinger Rip Van Winkle the brawler the leather Gunslinger the Scout the winter Gunslinger and the everyday Cowboy now there are a bunch of other outfits you can buy as well but I'll let you experiment and find your favorite now moving on the next mod we have is called the classic cowboy outfit this mod aims to bring the cowboy outfit into a more accurate version from Red Dead Redemption this mod changes the textures of the cowboy outfit in rdr2 upscaling the clothing and making it more accurate the Hat textures have been improved making it more high quality than the vanilla version and then you you have the more accurate vests shirt boots spurs and neckerchief textures that really bring it all in you now have new gloves and as well the wolf buckle belt from rdr1 I don't think John Martian's ever look this good next we have a mod called the 1911 Cowboy this mod improves Jon's epilog textures to be of a more high quality variant so he'll have better normal and material texture Maps as well as some improvements to a scar John just keeps on getting better and better next we have the mod called extend Ed John Maron animations this mod expands and enhances John's move sets so you don't get those copy and paste animations from Arthur Morgan the aim of the mod is to get rid of as many artham Morgan animations as possible to give Johnn Martian his own unique ones and this mod does a really good job of that there are a variety of Animation Replacements so the many videos you're seeing right now are taken directly from the mod page and you can see a big difference that really helps John be his own man you have new Sprint animations and they all change depending on the type of environment you're sprinting in the way John holds his weapons has also been changed whether you're using one pistol dual wielding pistols and even just holding your rifle Jon's walk is even back more similar to what you see in rdr1 this mod truly helps to separate Jon and Arthur's animations making you really feel that you're playing another character the next mod is called John Maron facial animations and this simply gives John Maran the facial animations he should have had so Jon's mean gaze returns and even when John and games he'll shoot with one eye closed another mod to help differentiate you from Arthur Morgan the next mod on the list is called 1.0 fitment and this gives Jon a more accurate clothing fitment this helps to give the clothes a more accurate fit to JN we're going to start off with probably the coolest mod that's come out this year this is the rdr2 car mod this mod brings the 1929 Ford Model A into the game you have four different colors to choose from ranging from blue to green gray and then of course red these cars are fully drivable as well so you can guarantee you're going to be the only one in sanity with the hottest car on the Block you get a nice HUD on the bottom right hand corner of the screen where it tells you the miles per hour you have the ability to honk and you have fully working headlights this is Arthur Back to the Future damn this rdr2 Carmon is surprisingly smooth except for the physics aspect but it can make for some pretty funny moments definitely give this mod a try and I can't wait to see if there's going to be any other similar mods maybe even adding even more cars because that would be pretty deep this next mod allows you to become the most super Gunslinger in the west the mod is called Superman clothing and this basically brings Clark Kent's attire into the world of rdr2 it's equipped with red boots there's supposed to be some blue pants I just couldn't find them you have the iconic Superman symbol a nice red belt again with the Superman symbol with the belt buckle and to top it off we have the red cape at the back now you have the attire for superman but this suit doesn't give you the strength of Superman that's why we have the super punch mod installed as well you can really punch as Superman and send your enemies flying and these punches pack a punch it doesn't only affect your fist though you can even have super bullets as well so you can indeed become the superest Gunslinger in the wild wild west maybe Superman isn't your thing though well no worries you can instead role play as Iron Man as if he was born in 1907 you can now roam the streets of sandine fighting crime as your new favorite superhero there are a few different variations as well so you can have the full suit with the cape you can have the suit with Tony Stark's head I'm guessing you can swap out the head for Arthur Morgans wearing the cape John Maron or have Stark in his fancy suit unfortunately you can't fly or anything with this new suit and you don't even have any fancy blasters but we can fix that the AK-47 model brings a fully automatic AK into the game a gun that's a little Advanced for the time but if you're looking for a good time you can't go wrong with this mod it is absolutely packed with power I'm pretty sure Arthur Morgan could take on armies with just this gun alone so if you're looking for a different kind of gun mod you could consider giving this one a try it's actually pretty uh pretty smooth man I got to figure out how to merge this with the uh WAMS DLC cuz this would be a great addition I still know what you're saying though I don't want to play as Iron Man either don't worry I still got you how about playing his Minecraft Steve instead you can absolutely block people up while still maintaining that swag I don't know how a Minecraft pet could look so Majestic but somehow to me at least this model fits perfectly into this world now in order to perfect the look we need to go to the gun store to get Minecraft Steve equipped this is the Glock 18 weapon which adds a Glock that doesn't stop you know how fully animated Glocks that do indeed look pretty sleek and Minecraft Steve is going to need this to block those people up another cool weapon mod for you to consider this next mod has nothing to do with weapons but instead replaces black bears with cute cuddly Panda Express pandas and if you've ever been mauled by a giant panda you know it's not going to be fun they may look cute and cuddly but these things will eat you for dinner so watch out we do have a helpful animal though which turns our horse into a zebra this mod brings a couple different variations of zebra coats into your game and you got to admit this zebra coat looks pretty Sleek I almost don't want to use any other horses the next mod tries to give Redemption for John Maron the John Marvin restoration project looks like it's an attempt to give John Maron a fighting chance there's a cool little bunker right outside of be's Hope House and then the family house is actually surrounded by even more defenses it is completely surrounded by wooden fences so nobody's definitely getting in there so if you want John Martian to potentially survive you could just beef up beacher's hope with this mod I can guarantee the Pinkerton won't know what hit them we have one more mod to add some spice to your life this mod is called GTA 4 loading screens and this equips your game with new loading screens and with authentic GTA music this fits perfectly into the game hopefully you at least found one mod in this Treasure Trove of mods to add into your own rdr2 until next time we'll see you
