and it does look indeed like Ki spitting on me he didn't spit on me number 10 The Flash no amount of time travel can change the fact that the flash was an unmitigated PR disaster oh my God Flash hi I love you thank you you seem very nice also long before anyone even saw it the film was struck by a never-ending storm of scandals surrounding its star Ezra Miller the actor really ran the gamut we're talking accusations of harassment disorderly conduct inappropriate relationships burglary and more Hawaii Island police arrested actor Ezra Miller Monday at a hila bar for disorderly conduct and harassment Miller was promptly pulled out of the film's marketing campaign but by then the damage was already done despite being attached to one of DC's most beloved Heroes neither audiences nor critics showed up to support the divisive picture it just goes to show that not even superpowered speedsters can outrun bad press forever you are not anything which is good you don't want to be a superhero number nine Twilight Zone The Movie the scary ious part of this horror flake is a scene that never even made it into the Final Cut can't believe it you know I can't at the end of the first segment time out Vic Morrow's character is supposed to valiantly carry two children away from a helicopter explosion however the stunt went horribly wrong leading to fatal results the aftermath shook not just Twilight Zone the movie but the entire industry to its core that crash occurred last summer when the helicopter evidently got too close to some special effects explosions that damaged the chopper and it plummeted to the ground striking the three people on the ground guilds Studios and even State Fire Marshals mandated new regulations on dangerous stunts especially those involving child actors while the film went on to perform modestly at the box office it has a legacy in the entertainment space for a very different reason number eight The Disaster Artist while the room is considered one of the worst movies ever made the Disaster Artist is anything but are you not dedicated actor I'm dedicated I just there you know there's like people eating and I just don't I don't care about these people come on you have to do it led by an inspired performance by James Franco the Tommy wiso biopic seemed poised to go all the way to Oscar gold and Beyond at least until Franco weathered allegations of serious sexual misconduct there are stories that need to get out there are um people that need to be heard um I have my own side of of this story just like that the movie was old news the actor tried to say face but when Academy Award nominations dropped the disaster artist came up much shorter than pundits expected people didn't want to touch this movie with a 10-ft pole meaning Franco's Behavior singlehandedly turned the Disaster Artist from an Oscar front runner into a cautionary tail Greg we are stars of the movie we can't be first one that you're right you're right number seven Manchester by the sea in 2010 actor Casey Affleck fielded two separate civil lawsuits over unwanted sexual advances in the workplace years later those same allegations came back to haunt him especially as Manchester by the Sea began to pick up Awards Buzz well you you don't have to I wanted to see him maybe you don't want that image in your memory I don't it's up to you many viewers took issues supporting a movie headlined by an alleged harasser and that sentiment turned to full-on backlash when he he took home the Oscar for best actor Affleck says he did not agree with everything that was being said about the situation but he says everyone did agree to try and put the whole thing behind them and move on the hubub eventually forced Affleck to withdraw from presenting at the Academy Awards the following year while he still has a gold trophy the intense fan outcry ensured that Manchester by the sea was a valley of Affleck's career not a peak Kay let off for now well we'll call you if anything else comes up we want to ask you about number six The Wizard of Oz it's a wonder this movie ever saw the light of day even with glinda's help I'm Glinda the Witch of the North you are oh I beg your pardon but I've never heard of a beautiful witch before only bad witches are ugly the production was a mess if something could go wrong it did for example Margaret Hamilton suffered third G Burns during a flubbed flying scene oh and the snow used in the poppy field it was actually asbestos but still Judy Garland had the worst of it the sooner you get out of ours all together the safer you'll sleep my dear I'd give anything to get out of ours all together putting aside her long documented struggles with substance use disorder she was horribly mistreated in order to look more quote unquote appealing for the role these days it's hard to accept the magic of Oz when the movie had so little of it behind the scenes oh will you help me can you help me you don't need to be helped any longer you've always had the power to go back to Kansas I have number five Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them at a time when people couldn't get enough of the Wizarding World a few Choice comments from author JK Rowling turned all that adoration into vical and she said you know if you throw the doors open of bathrooms to any man who feels like he's a woman then you open the doors to any and all men who wish to come inside many fans were offended by Rolling sentiment towards the transgender community and the online debate overshadowed any Goodwill towards the prequel series Fantastic Beasts now unfortunately you have seen far too much if you wouldn't mind if you just stand there this will be over a jiffy that's not even the end of the franchise his issue either following a highly publicized domestic violence suit Johnny Depp was fired as big bag grindlewald and replaced for the series third film The Secrets of Dumbledore what you're doing is madness it's what we said we'd do but by then fans had already checked out anyway clearly it'll take more than a few spells to repair this Brand's image number four American Beauty don't let the name for you this movie is not pretty you know you don't always have to wait for me to come to you oh great so now it's my fault I didn't say that it's nobody's fault it's indulging in all things Taboo American Beauty followed Kevin spacy's Lester as he Fosters an inappropriate relationship with a teenage girl what people didn't know is that spacy was doing the same thing in real life with unassuming boys when the allegations first hit the mainstream around 2017 The Uncanny parallels between spacing and Lester made American Beauty a lot tougher to watch Lester I refuse to live like this this is not a marriage this hasn't been a marriage for years after all viewers signed up for a fictional drama not a tragic documentary much like Spacey's own reputation American Beauty had a steep Fall From Grace and at this point it's unlikely it'll ever recover what uh whose car is that out front mine 1970 Pontiac Firebird the car I've always wanted and now I have it number three Breakfast at Tiffany's one of the greatest ronc coms ever made is also guilty of one of the most controversial casting decisions good night while there's no denying Breakfast at Tiffany's enduring appeal its tasteless depiction of Mr Yoshi especially as portrayed by white actor Mickey Rooney hasn't aged quite as well modern critics have noted that he's a total racial caricature complete with Goofy Prosthetics and offensive speech patterns when you say breakfast of Tiffany's they go oh yeah it was a great film but what they forget is that element that wasn't great which was the yellow face character I'm of Mr Yoshi played by Micky Rooney even Rooney himself admitted that had he known what kind of imp his performance would have he wouldn't have played the role at all sadly the realization came far too late as Mr Yosi remains a shameful blemish on an otherwise iconic movie we can't pretend that it was never part of the film we can't pretend that it wasn't a product of its time and that it is an image that probably offended people back then and many of us still find offensive now number two don't worry darling anyone says there's no such thing as bad press wasn't around for don't worry darling you can't you can't leave why not cuz you're not feeling well oh I'm not yeah I'm so sorry I forgot to tell you but you're not feeling very well before cameras even started rolling male lead shy lauff was abruptly replaced by Harry Styles who get this later began sleeping with the director Olivia wild and in the tensions with staff Lawrence Pew and some truly really bizarre moments on the Press tour and you had a marketing campaign more dramatic than the movie itself Harry did not spit on me here's a very very kind guy in fact when don't worry darling finally hit theaters no one even cared anymore they just wanted updates on all the alleged feuds hey don't worry darling is definitely a memorable film just not for any of the right reasons ah yes yes very interested bye-bye bye before we unveil our top pick here are a few honorable mentions 16 Candles its romance hasn't held up very well and long duck dong is a walking stereotype very clever dinner appetizing food fitting neatly into interesting
