Top 10 Bosses in Super Mario Galaxy 2!

[Music] all right let's be honest here Mario is a guy that has a lot of enemies it seems that in all of the games he keeps fighting new enemies and buses and you think this would be limited to his hometown the Mushroom Kingdom but the thing is it's actually not today we'll take a look at the best bus battles in Super Mario Galaxy 2 because even on other planets in different universes and galaxies Mario still has beef with a lot of creatures hey I'm Nico and here's my top ten Super Mario Galaxy 2 bus fights I'm not usually a fan of snow themed buses but sir Betty is actually a pretty fun bus fight basically this guy is a giant snowball with spikes on it once you land on his snow planet you'll soon realize that this entire globe is actually sore Betty it looks like a snowman to defeat the guy you'll have to use the spin attack on its big glowing red nose I'm gonna be super honest with you guys this bus is very easy and can be defeated in like ten seconds if you get perfect hits but I had to include survey D in the list because it looks so funny just take a look and it's way better than the snow bus from the first Mario Galaxy game so you know that's an improvement so this next bus is one that looks way too epic and it looks like it should be a Zelda bus and not an actual Mario bus but alas double gut is actually a Super Mario Galaxy 2 bus fights basically the guy's a giant snake that floats in midair and attacks you by trying to eat you through this round planet while doing so it would go through the entire thing but here's a catch double gut has some red balls on his body and those are way thicker than the rest of it so they will get stuck for a second there giving you just barely enough time to hit them with a spin attack break all of the red balls and you'll be done in here I should also mention that you have to fight this bus a second time later in the game except this second time his body is made out of fire making it very dangerous to approach him thankfully the same strategy can be applied to defeat it just aim for the red balls and you're good to go the original Mario Galaxy had lots of cool power-ups and most of them made a comeback in the sequel and a couple of new ones were added and one of my favorite new addition has to be the rock Mario para basically it turns Mario into a boulder allowing him to roll a high speed heck there's even a galaxy where you play bowling with this new ability one of the buses requires you to use that newly discovered attack to defeat it Rolo Dillo is its name and rolling around is its game basically this armadillo has the same ability you do so it will curl into a ball and try to run you over the key to defeat him is to do the exact same thing curl into a rock ball and hit him three times and he'll be done for one of my favourite mechanic in the Super Mario Galaxy franchise has to be the ice skating mario is usually pretty sloppy on ice but if you shake the Wii Remote in this game he becomes a real professional ice skater look at him go he should be in the Olympic Games hmm wait a minute anyways this next bus Prince picante will be the right opponent for our ice skating skills basically this guy will throw fireballs at you while trying to run you over in his big car you'd want to skate to dodge his fireballs too then use your spin attack on the green things to send them back flying at him a couple of times one of my favorite thing in this fight is just skating super fast around him it makes the batter look way more intense than it actually is [Music] Super Mario Galaxy 2 surprise pretty much everyone when it introduced the throwback galaxy which is basically a remake of whomps fortress from Super Mario 64 it's pretty faithful to the original as well as you'll easily recognize all of the areas that were in the older game and just like in Mario 64 getting to the top of the fortress will pit you against the whomp king wait he's dead already well not exactly this guy was just a random whomp introducing the true whomp king - he even says the same things he used to say in Mario 64 that is so cool basically the feeding him is really simple as you just wait for him to try to crush you and then you ground pound his weak point in his back and that's it he has some new abilities in this game though you know being able to spawn mini ones that try to protect him but they're not really good at that and you'll easily defeat him once again and get the star all right what would be a top 10 boss battles in Mario games without the inclusion of the final boss my boy Bowser look at how Yugi is in this game basically Bowser is so big that he can punch entire planets now to defeat him you must hop under the little floating boulders and ground-pound them in his face Bowser has a couple of tricks up his sleeve though as he will breathe fire to try to turn you into a roasted BB Q chicken as the little boulders land on the planet they will produce shockwaves that he'll have to dodge if you want to stand a chance so you know be on the lookout for that for the final boss Bowser will make an epic comeback after you beat him and he will try to defeat you once more but just aim your boulders once again and you're good to go actually this bus looks epic but it's not very difficult the main addition to Super Mario Galaxy 2 compared to the first game in the series is our boy Yoshi yep everyone's favorite dinosaur is now a playable character and he'll be super useful against this new bus giggle Kido usually you can't really do anything about Lucky Rose throwing stuff at you but with this new friend Yoshi we can grab the spine as he throws at us and spit them right back at him another cool thing is the fact that Lucado is inside a bad weather cloud this time around so he will use thunder to try to attack you I gotta admit this is pretty original using weather elements to attack you despite the fact that isn't the hardest bus this next bus is a little bit big you know what it's huge and it's pretty deadly too I mean look at mega hammer it is a giant robot that has lots of cannons that shoots oming bullet bills it can also shoot bands AI bills and it has hammers for hands oh and did I mention that this robot can also send deadly shockwaves you think that with a robot like that Mario is done for GG and he probably would if it wasn't for Yoshi you see I don't know what Yoshi stomach is made out of but it has to be pretty epic because the way to defeat this bus is to actually eat the bullet bills and then spit them right back at the blue balls thingy on the robot once those balls are dead just spit a couple more bullet bails to destroy Bowser Jr's spaceship and you'll be good to go man if Yoshi wasn't there Mario was dead I'm telling you so one of the best bar up that made a transition from 2d Mario game to 3d Mario games has to be the fire flower although it is now time based in mario galaxy running out after about 20 second using it never cease to be fun and this powerup is what's going to be needed to defeat this next bus squiz 'red this reptilian-looking thing lives in a quicksand hole and throws many objects at Mario I don't know what he is defending under his but that deserves such brute force but I who am I to judge three feats quizzer do you have to wait for it to open its mouth and then you get one of those beautiful fire flowers and throw some fireballs at it at some points during the fight squeeee is 'red will summon some yellow cannons that fire some spiky boulders cheese this guy hides a lot of things under that sinkhole in that but thankfully it's not very hard to defeat it if you dodge the rocks and boulders and aim your fireballs like a true champion Super Mario Galaxy 2 had way more 2d side-scroller levels compared to the previous game and you know what that was actually a good thing it allowed Nintendo to go crazy with this next bar up the spin drill with this item equipped you can dig your way through the dirt and come up the other side so what their way then to combine 2d levels and this new powerup with a brand new bus fight dig a leg basically this giant robot has one weak point in it's hidden at all times so there's actually no way of directly attacking it except by using this amazing new spin drill item to drill through the planet to the other side of it and hit the weak point see this battle is really simple yet so effective you have to get the perfect angle and timing in order to attack the enemy and it sometimes sends enemies your way by using its drill thing -
