to do that? -I like to show off, apparently. [ Laughter ]

I don't know. I always think,
with musical instruments, it's always fun to play them
how other people don't because it's like you get taught
how to do things and I like to do them
unconventionally. But that's something
that I've seen before, so I was just like,
"Oh, I want to try it." And it's actually not that --
It is hard. But it wasn't as hard.
I learnt young, very young, so. -We happen to have a guitar here -Oh, no!

that I heard that you can do and I just was wondering
if you could maybe -- A lot of our viewers at home, people here want
to know life hacks and it involves -- It involves bottles of beer. -It does.

preface this by saying don't try this at home.
-Okay, yeah. Now, what is the hack here? What do you do? What's the trick?
-Well, the story behind it -- I was in the Bahamas shooting
with a bunch of people. And we were on a boat, and we
didn't have a bottle opener. And I didn't want everybody
to not have fun, so I was like,
"Oh, you know what? Let me just try something." And I cracked it open
with my tooth. And then I ended up realizing
that I could do this cool thing, and I cracked 16 of them
in one go. So... [ Fizzing ] [ Cheering and applause ] [ Fizzing ] -You are the coolest person
I've ever met! Cheers to you.
-Cheers. -You also do impressions. And I've heard that they're like
impressions that aren't... -The most popular? -No, yeah, but kind of not

-Yeah. You know what's crazier? So, during the break, you told
one of our segment producers that you actually know
how to play one of the weird instruments
we had there. -Yeah, about as well
as I played the sousaphone and the upright bass.
-No, but I was in shock. I go, "Wait. This is --
We have to --" I want to see you play this, because I know
kind of the idea behind it. This is a theremin.
-Yeah. So, this is pitch. [ Theremin plays ] [ Laughter ] [ Cheering and applause ] ♪♪ [ Laughter ] -Oh, my God!
[ Cheering and applause ] Wow! Maggie Gyllenhaal!
I mean, that is -- that is a talent right there. When did you realize
that you have perfect pitch? -Right.
-Do you know this? -Yeah.
-Do you know what that is,
perfect pitch? Like, less than 1% of us
have this talent. But basically --
-I think you might have it. The Roots told me that you
might low-key have it. -Oh, I don't think I have it. -It means you can like,
hear, like any note. Like, if I were to tell you
to play an F-sharp, it would be ♪ Ah ♪ [ Piano plays F-sharp
in unison ] -Wow.
-Or a G. ♪ Ah ♪ [ Piano plays G in unison ]
Or C-sharp. ♪ Ah ♪ [ Piano plays C-sharp
in unison ] -What if I gave you,

-So, it's almost like I like memorized the notes in my
head and I could do it from when I was like
four years old. It's like a weird --
It's a very odd thing. -That's unbelievable.
-Yeah. [ Cheering and applause ] It definitely affects me
socially sometimes [ Laughter ]
because I was in a hotel room
the other night and, usually, when you hear
car horns and fire alarms, they're at minor second
intervals, like a -- ♪ Hah hah hah hah ♪ Like ♪ Hah ♪ Like "Jaws" is like, you know, "Get out of the water."
"Jaws." [ Laughter ]
♪ Da na na na na na ♪ And that's what a fire alarm
is sometimes. And it's two notes rubbing
against each other and it tells you to get
the hell out the building. [ Laughter ]
And I was on the 11th floor and I wasn't getting
out of the building. I was like rearranging notes
in my mind, and I was like, "Wonder if it was like a --" [ Imitating alarm ] There was one time where -- [ Laughter ]
-You're harmonizing
with the alarm? -I'm harmonizing with the alarm. I let my entire school
out early one time because there was a digital bell
that went like this -- Rumson-Fair Haven
Regional High School. I got suspended for this.
It went -- [ Laughter ] [ Beep ] It was almost summer break and I went into the middle
of the hall and went into a very
reverberant part of the school and just went -- [ Beep ]
[ Laughter ] I let the entire school
out early. [ Cheering and applause ]
-No way! That's awesome! -I got suspended for that. That was not good. -I wanted to be
a professional soccer player. -Can you still play?
-Yeah. -You can?
-You? You play soccer or not? -No. [ Laughter ] I get exhausted watching soccer. -Really?
-It's exhausting. -I love playing soccer.
I still do it. I still do it. -I mean, we have a --
