Thunderhead is INSANELY OP! Deep Rock Galactic Survivors!

what is up everybody welcome back to the hottest Survivor game on the market right now Deep Rock Galactic Survivor I am oai today we are going to be running a class that I have sort of struggled with in the past we're going to be running a hazard 3 but we're going to be running the Gunner uh I've been playing the Gunner a bit more we're going to start off with 160 HP 10 armor 5% crit chance 150% critical damage and we're going to run the Juggernaut again um we tried to run a tank build uh before and and we failed however I think now that I have unlocked more weapons uh especially the Thunderhead which is a really cool and powerful gun I just unlocked the overclocks for it too so we're going to try to prioritize that gun as our main DPS and then we're obviously going to build a little bit tanky and I'm going to try my hardest I know it's been mentioned that you need to take your damage and get your five you need to get your 50% damage stack up but honestly it's super hard it's super hard to keep taking damage and survive in this game because there's not a lot of ways to regenerate your health you do get you do get some passive regen but it's not enough and then there's it's really hard sometimes to get the the sugar so it's tough when we get to such a high such a high difficult ult y to where and this game is just this game is hard this is a hard game there's I've been in the Discord for a while and it's it's tough it's tough people people acknowledge that this game is hard and I I think that's fine I don't think it's I don't think it's bad that this game is hard but it is this game is just tough it's not it's not easy to just step in to even Hazard 3 and just get an easy win it's not okay we'll do the XP gain right off the G I don't really care too much for this starting gun um it's okay it does some high damage but I don't really care for it I wish I do wish that we could kind of have a selection of guns to pick um even if it was just two different guns to pick as our starting weapon for each class I think that would be ideal in the future okay let's do the reload speed but this is kind of like your uh your Magnum or something it's it's a high it's a it's a slow shooting high damage weapon um it's going to it has a little bit of a pierce it can Pierce through enemies so it it does okay but it it's really slow it's really slow in a game where you have to kill a ton of enemies it's not weapons like this I don't think are ideal I think you want a lot of those big AOE explosive weapons okay so we're going to roll these luckily I have enough gold okay and we're going to take the Thunderhead this is going to be this is going to be kind of our main weapon um for the third and fourth weapons I'll probably take my grenades and then at least one of the grenades will take um the that does Fire or the one that shoots out bullets we'll kind of we'll debate we'll we'll just see when the time comes we'll see how we want to do that we're going to save the supply drop for the boss because at this level it's really hard to kill the bosses sometimes so I'm going to save the supply drop for the boss ready so I'm basically just going to clear clear around collect whatever resources I can kill what we can and then when the boss shows up we're going to we're going to drop that right on his head so the Thunderhead it's going to I believe it targets the highest HP character I didn't see exactly what it said but um it's tough to use a little bit because it fires in One Direction the whole time so you see how it's firing kind of top right it's firing at a different angle the whole time so it's not going to switch targets you're going to have to adjust to how it's aiming so but it's really good cuz it's going to shoot these big bullets and they're going to explode on contact great for killing these swarms especially if you get it shooting in the direction you want it to so you can see it's doing a pretty good job of clearing out those enemies right there so we're going to we're bringing we're literally bringing out the big guns now you know we we have our Magnum gun we have our our uh Thunderhead Cannon and now we're going to we're going to pick up I don't know if we're going to pick up another big gun but this is going to be this is going to be the big boy now for a little bit let's loop around here and again as long as I don't need to take the damage like if I'm doing okay um I'm just going to keep I'm just going to keep doing what I'm doing so every time we get hit so you can see I get hit there uh bottom left uh we have a a stack now at 10% damage you can stack that up to up to 50% like I said if I don't need it I'm not going to I'm not going to purposely take the hits cuz I don't want to unless maybe I get a lot more armor and um I almost I think I almost messed it up okay so we'll take the max HP okay we're going to do the projectile damage oh no I thought we blew up this I thought we blew all of them up okay we can we can get some more of this XP before we head over I'll take this one get onto that I think we can get some of this to the Nitra before we go okay that was a good run good first floor uh not a ton of XP but we did okay we cleared it we did our objectives um these are kind of bad level UPS I was hoping to get the cannon uh we can do a roll though let's do a roll nope try again okay legendaries are okay um we'll take you and we'll take the movement speed you today was going to be good that's all we're going to get there beasties to shoot and work to be done get to it Miner you look at this oh my gosh four flowers right here I love it when that happens I absolutely love it when that happens okay now we're kind of at a I think I'll take I think we'll take this one cuz I like this because this one does really good uh sort of AOE damage especially if we can get it to breaking up the grenades into three smaller ones uh it'll be great for covering a uh you know these swarms cuz we don't have we don't really have the guns that are going to do that this the Thunderhead can kind of do it but it's not going to do it to the extent that the grenades can oh let's come get this gold I love how fast we are way load up so I'll take a few hits here on purpose to get some gold so now we have the whole 50% stack uh if we want it to you could just kind of keep getting touched by the bug to to keep it refreshed cuz that's all you have to do you just have to get hit once and it'll it'll keep the cool down there failing much better now my life okay we're going to do the Pierce over time to kill I'm actually okay with it firing at a slower fire rate too because I think that'll make it easier to um let's do the knock back I think that makes it a little bit easier that's going to make it easier to get to where we need to get and okay that's already clear so again we're going to save that for the boss that's kind of what we have to do now um sometimes I really struggle killing the bosses so now I just I just save the supply drops for the boss all the time and I just run around and collect resources swarm detected get ready they'll be with you shortly the Pierce will be nice for this gun too because that means it'll kind of be getting into it'll be doing damage to the front and it'll be kind of getting its exploding damage in the middle oh we missed that one though this yeah see look at that look at it just shred through all of them all right we'll do the 15% projectile damage okay then we're going to loop back around oh yes let's take that legendary reload give it to me okay we're going to milk this a little bit uh um we keep getting this this gun which is awesome let's do the reload speed do the fire rate want to see if there's anything else worth getting before I think we have some time you know we we've been doing a pretty good job so far clearing this so I think we have some time to run around and look for more resources I don't really see anything though so we'll probably just go and slam the supply Crate on the boss and call it so look at this look at this weapon I don't even know if I need to use the supply drop to be honest but I mean obviously we're going to go do it cuz I need to get the supply drop anyways okay let's do the reload speed let's make sure he gets in there okay let's do I'm not going to take the slow movement speed we're going to take the red sugar upgrade is okay now now here's where we can kind of pick whatever we want to do um we'll probably pick the grenade cuz I'm not I'm not a huge fan of the the lead storm minigun um it only shoots in front of you I'm not a huge fan of that the burst fire could be okay too because it's going to fire let's take the burst fire the burst fire is going to shoot in all directions well four directions but it's going to shoot you know all around us so I think that's a a good weapon to take let's get a little bit of closer to the extraction and then we'll see if we can milk a little bit more XP out of this drop is about to leave get your ass moving Miner I don't really think we're going to get much more there we go there we go there we go take the 12 armor we always like to cut it close you can see my back pack didn't make it it all right we're going to take the armor we're going to level the this guy up two times level you up two times um let's top off our health roll let's take the XP gain damage to all and that'll be it I see three flowers right here which is awesome there's four five here let's come around this way and get these loot bugs first we're going to have how much armor do we have 53 armor what stinks is with you're this grenade can get thrown on top of the Rocks so you probably just saw it it got thrown on top of the rocks it does not hit enemies when it gets thrown on top of the Rocks which is kind of BS okay what do we want to do here damage reload or fire rate let's do the damage and reload swarm ready be you short this just does so much damage we got supp is ready for you clear the landing zone of obstacles please okay let's go make sure I always try to prioritize clearing this now just so we have it ready when the boss comes we're not going to do it yet though obviously we're going to wait again for the boss to show up that was a good that was a good Quest especially since so many of them were right there hey let's take we have all our weapons are kinetic and all our weapons are projectile but let's do the damage the scanner just L up like a Christmas tree we got a swarm incoming AET in fight all right let's do the armor again wow that was a huge chain all right let's do the weapons so we can try to get this guy leveled up a little bit more too ready we definitely want to make sure we're getting the overclocks we'll take the oh man okay we're going to take the 10% damage to all I know I feel like I can't pass that one up over over an overclock okay let's do the grenade I mean I told you we were going to focus mostly on this um on the Thunder head and we have it's level 12 I'm going to be the bestv okay we're getting we're getting so much damage here okay I'm going to run around for a little bit I'm going to run do a little lap over here see if we can get some more resources and then we'll come around and get this boss there's some gold over there that we're going to try to get too we're not going to hang out too long just because you know it it the game does ramp up if you um okay we're going to take the minus 25% damage and then we're going to get the 25% damage to everything else that's really good especially if you don't really like the gun the burst gun is okay but I'm going to take the 25 % damage to everything else cuz we're um we're a Thunderhead build here so I want I'll take that extra 25% damage to that okay we have a ton of HP too so I'm going to mine all the way through to this health and then we'll go we're going to kind of loop around and try to pick up some of this XP man I I don't want to kill all these guys yet I really don't in I want to Loop up here first we might not even get the supply drop this time we just might not uh let's see okay we will get it oh he's going to die dang oh man okay that's a bummer that's a bummer we're going to get the supply drop but I don't think I'm going to be able to go get all the XP that he dropped uh we're I'm this the healing on level up is so good oh shoot come on kill this guy please this one so me thank you at least we got that last Elite so far this is an amazing run this is going pretty much perfect uh hopefully we can keep it that way right he Let's uh do you we'll do the armor we'll take the three level UPS on our grenade um Pier yeah piercing's really good but fire is really good too let's do the fire gas uh let's top off our health reload XP gain armor okay so how we have a ton of armor 71 armor load up and get going Miner we have quas to fulfill and we're doing really good damage you know so we're not sacrificing anything we're not sacrificing DPS to become stronger it's it's this build is working out really well assuming if we if we clear it this is probably one of my favorite builds in the game now this gun is so good except when those grenades get up on top it's so dumb if we can get the if we can get the grenades too to do um to split up into three mini grenades for our next level up that'll be really good cuz then we'll be doing a lot of fire we'll get ooh yes we'll get a lot of fire and we'll get a lot of that AOE damage let's get this guy swarm is heading your way load up open this is basically our last floor to gather resources so I'm just going to try to get as much as I can watch we're just going to rip through these guys oh maybe not now we will hell all right let's do the level up for that thank you for kill me well think again prepare to fight for your life swarm is approaching I'll take this one don't mind if I do okay I do need to get out of here I mean not that I'm super worried about cuz look at this look at that look at that Thunder head gun uh I do want to get out of there though I don't want to get stuck there did you notice too that we haven't found one magnet this whole entire run the magnets are the magnets are way too rare in my opinion they're way way way too rare they need to I would love to see them increase the drop rates on those just a little bit you know give us give us a break it's already hard enough to this game's already hard enough especially when these huge swarms come ooh man we're getting some really good level UPS this run this is literally almost I couldn't have dreamt of a better a better run than this right now and 20% damage on top of all this epic with this all right we're just going to finish off the slasher here and we'll call it a day all right let's do the critical chance by no let's do the XP when we take damage all tasks complete stage finished the drop is prepped and ready get on it before it leaves oo thank you wow what a perfect place to drop I can't believe this run this is this is a top tier run for hazard 3 this has literally been I couldn't have dreamt of a better run um let's do the I don't really I don't really want really any of these we'll do the pickup radius though is to head out all right let's get out of here stage is stage we all right let's do I think I'm going to roll these because I want to keep doing that okay we'll do this one to get the next okay the burst fire gun um what did we take for the first upgrade can I see what that is I don't know exact I don't remember which one that was um I think I do want the piercing though we already have fire and explosions let's do piercing almost makes it too easy I'm going to roll these again because I really well okay we'll take yeah we can take the damage I really want to keep upgrading my um this guy right here so that was a perfect roll right there for us so we can get an extra level on that guy we can do one more roll and then we can do something with the gold reload speed perfect okay this is the big one Miner find and destroy the cocoons and take out that dread you're cute you're dead yeah this is going to be I think this is going to be a cakewalk I think we're going to absolutely dominate this I hope I hope I mean look at our damage we have this Thunderhead does so much damage freak just absolutely massacring all of those okay let's go find more eggs we can get these meta resources too I don't want to mess around too much cuz I want the first first things first I want to ensure my victory do I have the no I don't have any okay I was going to see if I had any um any of the ones where I get the critical from Nitra but yeah I didn't take any of those we'll see if we can get that one up a little bit here let's take some damage so we get our we can get these okay here's our next egg is that one is that going to be the one to hatch that's weird it like skipped over the first egg okay we need to find this last okay let's uh clear the let's clear this and we're going to use this for the final boss obviously wait can we break this right now oh did it not work did I think we cleared I think we killed them all it just didn't count the egg I think that's might have what happened there I'm going to come get this Health First little okay there he goes prove it okay let's see if we can yeah we can okay we're going to drop this right oh no no no not yet not yet woo okay that was that was close okay we're going to we're going to take this one right now I wouldn't take this one otherwise but well not actually do I what's that going to give us a 28% damage boost that's not a ton but I think we take it it's not going to give us a very negative movement speed debuff so I think it's fine I mean we got the dub locked up up he's not we're not going to die here I have way too much even I have way too much armor we do way too much damage I'm not dying here we have 402 HP like look at this we just shred everything he's going to die oh NOP he's not dead yet all right let's do movement speed just to just so we can ensure that we get there in time well team immediate elimin all right where are we going right in front of us all right let's hang around a little bit more just to just to say screw you bugs it'll all right there we go absolutely dominating run just absolutely destroyed Hazard 3 absolutely murdered it all right what did we unlock we unlocked the new firefi Hunter drone cool yeah see it was so that man I wish we would have done magmacore I wanted to take it a little safe because it was my first time actually running this full build I knew it would probably be good though but yeah crazy 7 million damage for our Thunderhead totally carried us this whole game nuts such a good weapon probably probably one of the best weapons if not the best weapon in the game it's so good I as soon as I unlocked it and I was playing with it even I didn't even have overclocks on it yet and it was just clearing everything and I was like oh man the Gunner the Gunner is back in play cuz it felt the Gunner felt super weak until I unlocked this Thunderhead and now I think the Gunner is probably one of the top I don't know if he's top tier cuz I haven't unlocked all the other guns yet but Thunderhead is definitely one of the best weapons in the game that I've played with I think between this and the uh the sludge Cannon or whatever that's called the the video we posted earlier today we're posting two videos again today I know um but the one we posted earlier today was the sludge cannon that one is really good too but that's more of a status effect weapon the Thunderhead is just a straight up I am going to blow the out of you like you are going to get massacred and it's going to rip like we had the piercing too and it was just ripping through everything it was so good so good it made Hazard 3 look like a joke compared to like just look at my video a day ago it's not like I've led up a ton since then I probably only have two or three extra meta progression since that failed run the other day but since I unlocked the Thunderhead it's just holy cow just absolutely insane and now I I could I think I can almost try at least on the first biome I think I can try I think I'd be confident trying um hazard 4 with this build it I mean the Thunderhead I think can carry you through through a lot of these levels the piercing was so good I don't even think we got it to yeah we didn't even get it to level 18 so we didn't even get it to its full potential so good all right let's see what meta progressions we got okay let's do the pickup radius and that's all I can basically only afford one upgrade each time now just because everything costs so much money like everything costs an insane amount of money right now uh these pearls man these pearls have to be the hardest ones to find in the game right they're so hard what what is it even called I wish you could see what they want I think they're the Pearl I think they're pearls these are so hard to get they're so rare so every time I see one I make sure I go get them because look this is the one where I have the least amount of upgrades out of everything and I still only have 19 of them compared to 105 of this one 54 like this one I've you find a ton of these this is probably one of my well between these two these are my most upgraded ones well actually this one right here is this is my most upgraded one but yeah you just find these three right here you find a ton of this everything almost everything everything you find a ton of except the pearls I think you're probably better off just like I should probably just sell sell a ton of these right which ones so oh man but you need a 100 wow I I don't know I'll think about it I'll think about just selling a bunch of these and just buying the pearls at least for a couple upgrades I think that's probably what we'll do like I'll sell these buy pearls yeah it it you got to sell a lot though cuz you're basically getting a two to one two to one ratio here all right everybody thank you so much for watching this has been our Thunderhead build with the Gunner probably one of the best builds in the game I've discovered so far just absolutely destroys everything I thought the sludge Cannon was going to be the go-to build to progress through the game but now I'm starting to rethink that and I'm probably probably going to focus a lot on this Thunderhead build but we'll see I we'll see I still have to do the engineer too the engineer is still really strong cuz I can clear I can clear Hazard 3 with the engineer also so I we I need to put the Scout more I guess I don't think I've done any clears on
