hey guys tyler here welcome back to dicey dungeons the dice deck building strategy game taking a look at the jester this gesture is apparently less complicated than the witch but still up there in complexity comparable to the inventor so what's up with this next up thing it's like these are cards and then these are the cards i'm gonna draw next i see so i probably have sweets bop and boop in my deck so i don't know what many of these do but i'll block and then okay after using one you draw one so let me see what boop is that's just deal two damage and there's this card matching cards which seems interesting you know i'm getting boop bop and boop next turn so i should just prepare to deal lethal yeah i don't even get dealt that much damage this is interesting knowing what things i'm gonna get next oh wait no maybe it doesn't persist between turns so what if i do this now i'm sure i can just win like this yeah i'll take two to deal two i'm sure i can heal it back in the future very interesting i haven't had the discard yet but i'm sure it's a lot to think about then how does this get added ah you just add it to the deck deal up the three damage again new dice that's pretty good and then here's my deck oh so these are just straight up the cards so i got four copies of boop three of bop two of sweets and now one of juggling ball interesting so this new thing is even gonna show up that often and i guess i gotta be careful with how much stuff i add to my deck well so this is always just insane and then don't i just win this turn unless on can i heal and deal three let's see i'm gonna play greedy once because i want to discard matching cards and get a bop hey the greed pays off this is this is interesting very different from the previous so wait i get a pack of cards to add to my deck oh my god it's straight up slay the spire in here i'm going to try the high voltage pack i was really tempted to take the freeze pack because it looked like one of the cars was called ice but unfortunately it was only ice shatter so i had to turn it down oh scary head's weak to shock hey i picked the right one so hold on i'm flush that's only evens oh that's actually a shame i mean i'll deal two damage i guess i'll deal two damage again and well ideal for shock damage does eight damage yeah i was not gonna be able to get a new dice or a new die oh nothing sucks to suck i'll deal three damage deal two damage and then can i discard now maybe i can only discard if they're all matching or if i have two matching probably five two matching that would make sense because i think i've been able to do it with two matching before well i got some shield shield two i'll take it matching cards can be used for free this turn cool well i don't have any matching cards so it's not even useful wait how does it use for free i'll try it and then you activate the matching cards i see ah very nice well anyways these kind of stink i'll go sweets and i'll bop them oh oh i can do it again oh i have two boobs wait so this can just keep going oh okay so it's not just the one time it is for the rest of the turn it will be like that okay why won't we get hit for one let's try to heal this turn if i can didn't get it and i can't discard anything i just have to kill him much to my dismay i actually really like this character so far i am impressed that how different these have all been oh a bump hell yeah i'm always taking a bump any more bumps in here ah destroy a card this is the proper deck building strategy you just eat the bad cards from your deck i will probably do that but let me take a look at this first see how this exactly functions okay i really just pick a card to upgrade boop plus gives the dice back that's really good too let's go boop plus here i didn't look at everything but that seems pretty solid okay i think i want to remove something from my deck thin to win is generally good strat if i'm being honest i actually think buzzer is the worst now i've made up my mind buzzer is just not good enough they'll have to burn one of their dice and even then it may find out that it's not even an impact at all to them i will take on this porcupine so i think i just want to do some damage boops are kinda weak it's not all that bad oh i get a juggling ball and a boop hold on on discard i want the juggling ball so i can get a new dice and then do another three damage worth it and yeah buzzer just sticks out like his sore thumb yeah because if one of his things was shocked he would just simply go into the other spike there's so many fights like that where just shock doesn't do anything and plus it requires evens i wouldn't even mind maybe using a one for shock value but it doesn't help me that much well gonna boop well i get the dice back so i'll do whatever um and next up is bump so let me do heal bump four damage i'm gonna heal the fall after this fight so i just wanna be sure i'd get him next turn oh nice he does nothing annoyingly wait i can do lethal damage right yep what do i get on leveling up duplicates i mean it's not that bad what's in here encore take an extra turn once per battle wait finale card play every card in a single turn to use you mean my giant deck i mean i might as well take it but there there's no way i'm gonna be able to use this well maybe if i take him the pirate because i mean if i snap that might be okay so hold on this here will discard the boobs maybe this does actually kind of help so deal this get a new dice do three and then i might as well shock return duplicate a dice do two damage return it plus one discard maybe i can get to encore oh not quite i mean i can but i'm not going to have 12. interesting so maybe with some proper discarding i can't get to encore oh this is really strange to play i almost accidentally used it maybe well maybe i could have put stuff in there but i'm gonna win next turn almost no matter what but this has added a whole new dimension it's like a super power if you can get everything going snap will be good for next fight help me crazy i'm gonna discard matching here take a bump i'll get my dice back take another four so inflict the shock do three damage do enough damage and then lethal okay okay heal the full i can still thin out my deck further and i think i will am i really getting rid of the other shock admittedly it does make high voltage quite good but i'm kind of in too deep now because i destroyed one i should get rid of the other yeah i i think i'm ironing out my play style and there's a lot of kinks to be worked out on but i i think uh there's something to be desired here it's just a tough one lots to learn okay so i definitely want to play matching cards for free i'm not going to use it just yet this was oh three or less i'm dumb deal one get new dice oh god so i have to use sweets bop can be used and now i can play matching cards for free seems like it could be okay actually so snap and then bump to get a free dice what do i want i guess i have to duplicate this which is perfectly fine so sweets i'll do boop here so i can use both bops then there's boot plus and encore i can use both of these so now i have no card so now this goes into encore crazy didn't use high voltage though either rough oh ouch i had a bit of block want the dice back i'll deal two damage discard bops duplicate a four bump a two player four deal three discard and give me a six holy crap uh let's go that's what i'm talking about so i entered it i get another turd right is that simple all i had to do was ask for a six is that easy i should have healed i'm a dumb ass way to spend that extra turn sorry i was so excited by the six that my brain just shut off thankfully it's not gonna matter because i'm about to heal for full but that's very funny flip a dice upside down so this just turns a one into a six a six into a one basically like on an actual dice the opposite sides add up to seven so it just takes the number that would when added to its make seven i'm trying to think if on average it'll be good or bad i think it could be quite good since i get the dice back and yeah take on the squid so this always gives me an extra dice two boops coming up i'll do high voltage on this one and then eat some boops boot plus thank you duplicating a six is always nice and then i can discard sweets i'm gonna flip this upside down i'll discard the bops get a new dice take an extra turn for sure and then get them i did 10 on this turn but now this could be the real damage turn okay good start i think and i do like spatula let's bop it bop it flip it dupe it boop it bop it bump it i got sweets um i gotta get rid of the sweets bump it and get lethal worth it uh all right this is this is fun that's what i was looking forward to just the ultimate exodia what is this so i can either copy next card or deal zero damage with plus one per bop i have questions about both of these this plus one per bot mean per boppin deck per bop used per bop scene copy next card being copy the card i'm about to play copy the card at the top of the deck to be honest i don't know what either of these do i'll copy next card although i'm sure this just can make things insanely challenging for me at full hp so where does this thing show up oh i see it's probably something i get dealt and i get to just use it for free i'll start with a juggle get a nice boot get a nice dupe i'm gonna flip my five upside down here just so i can use high voltage this is fine i think i'll do bop skip the sweets do a bump okay hold on so discard wait next up is inventor and encore here's something i'm curious about let's say i do this draw inventor copy next card to so two encores okay it just literally copies the card and then i draw another but is this still gonna be in my deck next turn i'm not sure very strange so i'll use this get another boop i'm gonna play with this actually i'd rather just see a bump unfortunately this was not worth it no wait it'll be fine because i can just discard the box yeah do two damage do some more damage i can't duplicate that which is fine this turn was weird i don't know how i feel about it because i only dealt uh four damage on the secondary turn but maybe i'll get another one ouch oh how does shock work does one of my cards just get shocked i see i'll duplicate flip one i kind of want boop plus my back could just discard it the only appeal of bloop boot plus is i get my dice back so why not just skip it as soon as i can give me a four nice and i'll discard some sweets oh bop it and bump it let's bump it i think i will bop it now i do get to discard boobs i was curious about that and i do have an encore still in my deck now knowing what i know i think i would have liked to pick the uh other one the one that just dealt damage for free mostly because i'm too damaged short and feeling kind of crummy but it's not gonna matter because there's two apples left over on the map so i should be quite fine yes this almost hurts i'll see if i can heal a little bit though too so discard matching i can copy oh next card is sometimes just literally in the order it's not next card in the deck for some reason this card is considered after this card which i think is a weird way to think about it usually next card refers to next card in the deck well either way i'm sure the apples will bring me to full and they will let's take a look in here i can thin and a bump is pretty good i wish i could afford to both destroy and bump kind of just realize i need some actual damage though how do i win because my deck actually has no damage i should probably go with a lament maybe make something out of those sixes that i seem to love getting how good an upgrade let's see what does this do six oh this could be kind of good because i can invent your encore and then with two sixes get two extra turns i'm gonna i'm gonna take this one it feels like encore is probably my biggest power play so doubling it down that seems nice i like those new pickups so definitely do snap but i'm gonna wait until i actually get combos so here new dice i will deal three and i think it will snap let's send it i'm dumb that was not a good play why did i think i'd be able to duplicate this too that was part of the calculation i just forgot that i didn't upgrade this card well give me a damn shield and except that i wasted my turn well i didn't waste i dealt 14 damage so all is okay could have been a lot better though okay now we're gonna get somewhere get the boot back copy next card i don't really want to copy sweets i guess i'll just do a bop so if i do this i should be able to discard the sweets yes and i will i'll do a bop oh i want to do bump so i'll flip this bump you inflict the freeze discard matching because i get juggling ball and nice oh and bob just wins okay this was a way better fight than i expected maybe my deck is better than i'm giving it credit because i didn't even use encore and it just popped off let me look at this so i know what to expect these are all expensive let's take a look at the card pack a booster pack get all or none you know what miss me with that i'm good apparently i can come back to it later but let's instead copy a card also this yeah so inventor discard i'll do three damage here discard some sweets i see the juggling ball so here's how i'll do this i'll do this get a new dice duplicate this four get rid of the boobs bop is okay here i'm gonna flip this upside down oh i could get off an encore plus i think i will actually so do damage i miss out on the freeze but honestly encore plus is well worth it 16 damage and an extra turn now it's time to really pop off and i get the freeze i don't really want the bops right now well let's see whether i regret it okay boop and juggling ball coming up i guess i'm gonna play this actually i will in fact still go a spatula like this discard these juggling ball right now see what i get got a big one duplicate it well it's got to be the one for high voltage screw the sweets so inventor gives me an additional boot plus now right it does good so now i can just chain damage and kind of go crazy so i don't have that and now a bit more damage and whoops and maybe i'll win next turn 14 is not that hard to come by that was a really good power turn i think though uh they only have recover hp and they used a one on it so they could work on the next one all right good for you i don't really want another boop but i also want the free two damage so i'm not sure what to do here i think i just have to accept that inventor is pretty much just letting me discard whatever i get on top of it it's a weird situation to be in but i also don't hate it a bump this card sweeps duplicate the six get the three back okay hold on i think i win here yeah i'm pretty sure i just win so do this do i mean doesn't doesn't really matter just do damage we're chilling this is a good fight so somehow my deck just pulls damage out of his ass i don't really understand but i feel that i don't need to i can copy a card well frankly why don't oh no i cannot copy it okay wait can i copy any upgraded card or is that just a coincidence now i can copy an upgraded card can i copy inventor because the worst case scenario with inventor is that i could just junk the card that comes after it or i could just get to something nutty always like bump or duplicate or juggling ball juggling balls really good you know what i think i like juggling ball even more than lament i think it's actually an insane card i can take this fight i get a free level up oh i should have eaten the apple beforehand though i missed on one hp whoops oh hold on i'm gonna get double juggling ball first how about i duplicate a four so now double juggling ball so bump the two into a three and now i've got a high voltage now i'll get there eventually go here i was kind of hoping i would get another three back but i mean that's too much to ask for oh am i just going back-to-back bops i mean is that really the worst thing ever it's a good damage turn even though i didn't cycle through everything there's like two ways to play this you can do a ton of damage or you could just cycle through your whole deck i'm trying to play both sides which maybe isn't the best for the long run but it's certainly interesting right i'm gonna turn this four into a three get rid of my sweets juggling ball might as well boot plus take a bop screw these boops triple this card hell yeah and i mean this is solid no i'm just gonna have a bunch of cards i can't use poor two that's quite all right he's probably dead next turn and he's neutered of course getting a dice lock that kind of stinks i'm like oh i always lose a one that's not too bad let's see can i win without snapping maybe i appear to be one off i will always high voltage just see what i get next i gotta boop wait are we sure i can't win right now bump bop what was i worried about [Laughter] easy i love this character so destroy card borrow equipment or get random equipment hmm i like how it's just all the other characters making return thief and robots have too much of a chance of just low rolling so i'll destroy something how about sweets sure that means i can't skip two sweets but i think it's all right and i can't afford anything here i mean i can do i want it well i mean cauldron there's nothing wrong with cauldron cauldrons always just free damage yeah she really like cauldron too because you know sometimes like it can get me out of a bad situation i have a bunch of dies i don't like and then cauldron poof i get a new one it's better i liked cauldron a lot during the witch run i'm gonna make my way over towards the equipment upgrade so let's see do i snap this turn well i think so i can always start with juggling ball i see that boop blossom there let's yeah let's activate matching cards do i hate any of these dice in particular i'll reroll my two see what i get snap these juggling ball lament always boop kinda stinks but what am i doing about high voltage it's just kind of sitting there menacingly what if i play like this spatula the five bump the two into a three do a high voltage now yet another duplicate which seems very nice because i would like a few more sixes that seems great use these and now i'm just looking good so encore bop and i'm gonna win next turn an extra shield just in case i like where this deck has gone i need another one of these but this is quite nice inventor into high voltage is a sweet sweet combo boom hem boom and got him well hot diggity damn i killed the wolf before even got a chance to attack me well i'm ready for the rat king then strong against poison yeah yeah yeah i'll start it simple one is usually underwhelming see if we can get something better i'll throw the bop out here discard the boobs do i want two sixes or a six and a five believe it or not i think a six and a five although the difference is probably so microscopically small that i don't think it's actually gonna matter my theory is like spatula flip a five get a two but i already have juggling ball oh actually i can get double juggling ball hold up no this is nice yeah i get a two so then i get juggling ball and this is well worth it give me a three i mean this is fine this is perfectly fine and bop and i kind of want to just do damage how much can you hit me with hit me with poison so shield isn't even good hit him for two well half of his damage looking good uh this could cascade thank god he's stupid but stupid doesn't get punished stupid really doesn't get punished oh good lord thank god the rat king is heart attack central well a high voltage here see if i can get juggling ball it doesn't look like it actually looks like i will have to bop and then bop and take poison damage that's fine i can heal after this okay good one oh he still gets a new dice but he's stupid thank you oh juggling the ball love to see it um actually tempted a spatula here no i mean lament is coming right up lament should give me lethal so why don't i just do this flip this and just get ready to win bam bam heel first heel and now hold on can i heal more no because i only have one heel in my deck and i don't think there's any other way for me to get hp at least i think i believe one oh and maybe i kept the other one i don't remember regardless i can heal the full i think i will and then upgrade and be honest i quite like boop plus actually it's two free damage i mean what's not to like to be honest i'll take the cowboy fight first okay i get to copy lament first juggling ball did not get a six now do i want two laments or two bumps i think the answer is two laments but we'll see if that's really right oh i see that spatula in there bump i'm tempted to just discard these so i can get spatula right now that might be okay let's see what happens so spatula for sure oh i got duplicate oh okay i just keep chaining and time for that's over how do you hurt me ah sick shooter well i'll try to outgun him then not a bad turn one i have not gotten my bonus turn in a while i think the course of my deck has certainly shifted oh but it is slow start with a bop juggling ball this is the perfect time for cauldron um yeah so i got a boot plus here and then bop and then boop these names are great probably dead next turn oh god oh no okay i'm getting hit for 18. should i be concerned probably not i'm sure i'll be fine start with a bop next little duplicate see laments coming up so so i pretty much will win no matter what nothing to worry about i should heal before it's too late i cannot duplicate that heel it's fine well all good i'm pretty sure i'll heal up to max with the apples if not it'll be damn close oh exact max perfect well that means i'm getting to max tier i'm going to save this for the boss fight i don't think i need snap to win that's an easy start i'm going to play like this i'm going to go bop into juggling ball into cauldron into bump and i could not quite make it a boot plus wait any no there's pretty much nothing i can do here carry on how do you hurt me i get cursed yikes and i get blinded do not like it well so this just comes back please don't break okay i'm not getting cursed somehow somehow it's a 50 chance to fail i've been winning a lot of 50 50s there we go okay is it higher than four it is not multiple like this then do this discard i see juggling ball i take juggling ball i can deal four actually this is really nice flip this get another four and pull a ton of damage out of my ass come on let me see if i get this cauldron maybe it's good it's a three ton of damage out of my ass oh hold on this card ah too bad i don't well i could do encore that's better than lament i can't believe it it's been so long this is surely better than six damage am i still blind thank god i'm not oh that's huge this is a big big number six juggling ball and this should be lethal holy crap wow all right i got to use that again i exited at full hp another duplicates yes please well this is all exciting i cannot wait for this final boss this could be a steamroll buster i have not played you before this has been the most uh most thinking i've had to do in a game or in a fight yet so i absolutely love this character i will be excited to return to some of these characters because assuming i win there's gonna be a harder game mode up next ooh but how do i play this i'll talk about that later let's just focus on the fight how do you attack me for damage and burn kind of scary so why don't i start with the snap huh that seems way better and i duplicate i'm going to just high voltage right now cauldron away a six get a free one send the boops lament is wonderful get my one back i mean boot plus is always just wonderful so now flip this get juggling ball okay i'm gonna duplicate first juggling ball again i'm gonna encore plus for sure so there's not much to worry about i could just do it send it and send it and that's a pretty good turn okay it went through almost half of his hp juggling ball again give me something big here i can discard though there's a chance juggling ball give me something well i got spatula coming up so it'll be fine got a boot plus got a boot plus i see that lament right there i will flip you i'm gonna duplicate the six actually because i see a bump coming up so i'll lament and bump and send off the one do i need these boops not sure i'll take a duplicate four right here because i know high voltage still exists and yeah i guess i'm duplicating that i'll take a boop because i think i'm going to be using almost all my damage here i think i will be actually yeah so bop inspiration high voltage high voltage is there any chance i die there is zero chance that i die so i'll just put in as much damage as possible make it very likely to win next turn and i practically did 63 damage in one turn i mean technically it's two turns but i deal 63 damage before buster could even hurt me and you didn't do you're done for you're done for let's go probably my strongest deck yet took a lot of learning but that went so well so what is next that is the last of the normal characters but there are harder game modes like ascensions and what i'm gonna do i think i'm gonna do the harder ascensions like um with my favorite characters i liked most the characters i'm just gonna do the ones that i think have the most replayability value and we're the most fun rotating between them to keep it interesting and i'm also aware there's like secret and possibly tainted characters i'm not quite sure about the latter but i'll definitely be sure to check those out as well so that wraps it up thank you all for
