This REVERSE harem anime you (probably) NEVER heard of

we've all heard of the typical heart and Slice of Life anime genre one where the protagonists usually a guy gets all the ladies for seemingly no reason at all while he casually goes on about his life without a care in the world a genre where we get to see another serious scenes where we get to laugh from our heads off and it's a great change of pace compared to ongoing enemies like Jujutsu Kaizen bleach and the light no matter how ridiculously cornice of Slice of Life enemies there are but what if we turn the protagonist into a girl mix it with ice Sky elements and make her denser than a neutron star well this anime is what we get now normally it would be the other way around but this is one of those enemies that just breaks the troop and it just makes it so much more unique and enjoyable to watch so how does the story work knowing that it has isakai Slice of Life and Hiram elements with it well the story starts off the 17 year old otaku girl who was obsessed with a game called Fortune lover which is an atomic game which is basically a dating game which appeals for girls with conquerable male leads and in her death in the real world she was reborn in a world similar to the world depicted in the ultimate game now that's good news for her she's reborn in a world that she's obsessed with but also unfortunately for her she was reborn as the villainous of the story where her faith leads to either being exiled or death caused by one of the male leads she only regains her memory from her past life when she tripped face flat and gained a head injury and since then she grew aware at the Fate that was waiting for her of course she tries her best to avoid these Doom Flags while trying to build a good relationship with the main cast of The Game World and that's the whole premise of the anime and since this anime takes place in a world based on the concept of an ultimate game the characters have pre-established dominant characteristics that makes them stand out from one another we have 8 characters in total first being Katarina our main character from our point of view and the villainous of the story which originally was supposed to be the equivalent of a female dog in a game but regaining her memories she tries to become someone else giordo a prince described to be sadistic and vile despite his smile in contrast his brother Alan who grew up being compared to his brother which resulted with him being ice-cold another one is Nicole and Andrew perverted Prince with a smile that can kill and the last of the males would be Keith Katarina's adopted brother who grew up to be a playboy moving on to the females which are considered to be the rivals in a game we have Maria who is the supposed main character of The Game and compared to her peers she is not of royalty we have Mary a timid character and Alan's fiancee and lastly we have Sophia Nicole's sister and is rumored to be cursed because of her white hair now do keep in mind that these are the personalities they are supposed to have originally in the game but because Katarina's characteristics changed and her being aware of her past life she is able to affect all of the characters personalities and is able to completely reverse them this is the part of the story where it gets interesting disregarding the comedic scenes that was shown the characters backstories were quite tragic however Katarina was able to prevent all of the misfortunes that the main cast was supposed to go through starting with Keith instead of being neglected his older sister tried to include him in everything Katarina ever did causing him to grow up as an innocent boy instead of a Playboy as with giordo and Alan Katarina became the bridge for them to connect with each other and realize that they are not so different from each other for Nicole well he is still the same as the one depicted in the game but I do think his sister complex isn't as a worse when he met her as for the girls Mary became more cheery and assertive Sophia was able to get a close friend and prove to the others that she is in some sort of creepy cursed doll and lastly for Maria Katarina made her feel accepted as Maria was being discriminated since she was not a noble and I think this is the part of the anime that despite it being a slice of life if you look deep enough there's death with how the characters are set up as I said before the premise of the anime is avoiding the Doom flag that was set upon Katarina that's looking at it plainly but if we reward it properly we can look at this anime as a person trying to break the Fate bestowed upon them throughout the anime we can see that as Katarina is trying to change the flow of events the world tries to find a way to get the story back the way it's intended to be the world is alike it's a Canon event Katarina and disputes Katarina's efforts but despite that because Arena was able to interfere the Canon events and pave her own path and this is first evident with Keith her brother just when she thought everything was going well with him out of the blue Keith locks himself up seemingly depressed just like what happened in the game but with how annoyingly persisted Katarina is she literally broke down the door so that she can Comfort Keith not letting Faith have their way and with that example we can also say that this wasn't just about Katarina trying to change her own fate unknowingly she was able to change the fate of everyone around her as well in a setting where everyone is destined to be broken in their own way a bright light comes shining through changing them for the better this anime is also a perfect example of how a small act of kindness can significantly influence a person sure Katarina did all of this for the purpose of escaping her eventual demise but was her kindness all but an act definitely not part of Katarina's personality is her idiotic innocence and that helps her more be genuine with her feelings and through this she was able to build and heal relationships this is also what draws the main cast to her the guys and girls alike what's supposed to be a story about the heroin choosing one male lead became a story about the villainous creating a reverse Harem and what I like about this is the Harem she created can be justified the feelings that a main cast have did not manifest out of nowhere comparing this to the other Slice of Life enemies maybe like orasuki wherein the others would fall for the protag for no apparent reason hamefore is not one of those breaking the stereotypes of these types of enemies in fact from the start the main cast did not had feelings for her giardo agreed to be Katarina's partner for two reasons one is trying to make up for the fact that he was responsible for Katarina's injuries when she was little and two he was using her to avoid engagement proposals for the time being but as time passes he saw Katarina's charm and eventually fell for her and it's generally the same thing with how the others felt her as well there was a build up on how she was able to acquire this group and not just the others falling for her in the name of the plot like how the other enemies do so and another true that this anime broke is that the MC instead of being male is actually female it's quite refreshing to be honest not to see some pathetic guy attract everyone with no reason cause I have a feeling that these types of anime are just there to fulfill the fantasies of someone who has never felt the touch of a woman I'm looking at you rent a girlfriend speaking of fantasies the enemy also takes place in fantasy world but as far as the plot is concerned the fantasy elements really don't play much of a role outside of the last few episodes so this is a slice of Life anime that if you look deep enough this is not just about having comedy and being casual it's also about a story about inner struggles and conflict that the others have went through and through the help of the main character Katarina they were able to escape the ditch that they were stuck in sometimes what seems to be a plain and joyous show can have hidden meanings which I think
