[Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Applause] alright guys I'm sure some of y'all noticed that rotten pit that was in that board we were just dealing with a combination of that rotten pith and the in some pretty poor cuts that I made I led me to have to go find another board in the stack and we're gonna start over on those side pieces but that's really well and good I want y'all to look at this right here look at those growth rings what's their tight growth ring this is some really nice pine lumber but they're pretty well standing on end which is going to give us some really nice straight grain in this how really beautiful stuff you don't hear a lot of people talk about quarter sawn pine but basically that's what this is those raised and sorry those are growth rings are standing up basically at a 45 degree angle and well actually a 90 degree angle I guess it would be to the to the surface of the board and you get some really beautiful really beautiful lines in this stuff there's a few knots in it in places but that just adds to the character so let's get this cut up and see if we can keep going here [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Applause] [Music] [Music] all right so this is the part that I've been dreading pretty much this entire project yeah I figured what happened well let's fix [Music] [Music] Oh [Applause] [Music] [Applause] ah [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music]
