This mini Project Diva controller is so cute!

okay hey guys yeah so i saw hisoki playing project while this thing and i was like wait i need it too so so apparently this is a project diva megamix tiny mini controller by this company called ipega and i know ipeka controllers actually i know they make a lot of mobile controllers the ones with bluetooth when you connect to your phone i had one before they were all right i don't know they they felt a bit overpriced to me so yeah let's take a look at the box yeah i didn't know if i had a japanese branch actually this is like completely in japanese is this official i don't think it's official the official one was the hori controller uh developer is also unofficial if i have my developer controller right now i'll do a sound and size comparison but i can't but the whole reason why i lent my developer out is because of the insanely loud noises it makes so let's hear how loud this one is because if this is less loud than the tata con which is also a tiny arcade controller this is a contender of like one of the few arcade controllers that you actually can use in your own room or house without destroying the ears or everyone else oh oh okay just opens like that let's see this manual okay nothing much you know what i'm most interested in is actually the touch panel oh it feels plastic it's really rough this guy feels nice feels nice it's really really friction i don't know oh it's quiet oh that's nice okay nothing underneath all right oh it comes to the cable okay oh the screenshot is in the middle here that's a huge screenshot button this feels so gross to touch okay guys here it is it feels exactly how it sounds like okay these are standard stiff buttons this feels exactly the same as this thing here this is exactly the same it feels the same yeah the d-pad why is the down button stronger than the rest of the buttons okay at least these buttons feel good they don't feel membrane so how much was this thing i think it was like it was 80 something dollars oh this is where you put the switch on what yeah oh that's cool actually they have the they have a spot here they have a patent number why is it written there four places why don't you put it at the back the usb type-c cable is detachable you can use whatever length uh usb type-c cable you want if like the three meters they gave is not enough i'm gonna try putting the switch on this thing all right i have a system update oh okay i was playing archaea from yesterday oh it fits nicely on here that looks good oh wow oh wait like the buttons light up oh that's that's nice that's really nice oh okay see oh that's cute oh touch spider why is it doing this oh wait do you see that you can see that like on the analog sticks right you move like that you hold it down you'll move in this direction and i believe this should work on analog sticks so this should move to the right and why does it do that like it moves back and forth instead of moving much right in diva first all right oh this is definitely all gonna be cooperated oh wait what wait did they have the same issue as the developer when he was in the wrong mode where like if you hold down one button yeah if you press like the adjacent button to it it starts like it's passing out on something i hate how horizontal offset collaboration like you really cannot tell okay let's try on the zero then oh we can turn off the leds wait oh these are different led modes for the touch slider why does it why does it flicker this one turns on only when you touch it when you don't touch you can see that it's not turned on at all it's slightly turned on oh yeah oh wait there's normal in arcade what's the difference there's a switch for the norman arcade oh wait let's take a look oh now it's acting properly you gotta turn on this for it for the sides to book well oh you're gonna press the button down completely oh i pressed all the buttons right i think so yeah you want to try all right do you feel the buttons doing anything weird no maybe i'm pressing too lightly or pressing the wrong angle because i'm not pressing the center earlier it wasn't sensing oh it could just have been my timing because foreign has very tight timing windows that is true you saw that yeah yeah the butter didn't press on [Music] so it doesn't oh oh it happened again on the yeah i think the tata coin is better than this definitely the button is not sticking it just didn't send it input i don't know why it feels like there's a dampener at the bottom or is it just me the b button feels really obvious that there's something going on at the bottom but it's not on the b key the a key doesn't have it the a case is lighter [Applause] oh yeah you feel it right yeah it feels really good though for some reason when you do this it's holding up kind of well i guess it's all right i said the buttons get stuck maybe cleaning them out will fix it but i'm not sure whether it's the button stack i start go straight up that if you don't completely press down hard right it will not sense the button let's do a quick sound test you want to hear which one is louder i don't have the developer but we can use this as a benchmark considering that um the developer is way louder in this thing see this yeah it's about the same volume you can't really hear the springs in this is it like a pure membrane going on inside wait let's just take it apart okay let's see this that came off really easy so these are the buttons here oh my god you won't believe this there are keyboard switches in here honestly no freaking way i want to see [Music] you wait wait wait wait we gotta look at this what are these wait these are not gateron blacks great hatch have you ever heard of anything like that before right now actuation 465 grams yeah why is it closer to the top or more in the middle or is it because straight up these keycaps are just funky maybe changing the gate on reds and swap the springs to something super heavy oh the button goes stuck inside oh okay but yeah you want to use this remember to flip the switch to arcade mode so the slider works properly and this is really interesting that they decided to go with other switches inside four dollars yeah four four dollars for a 10 pack that is that's way cheaper than four or more stitches okay but i guess if they did add omron switches this thing will be taller so [Applause] [Applause]
