It’s always entertaining to see someone
perform at an elite level, crushing their opponents after spending years perfecting
their skills, intelligence and fitness. When that elite person’s a child, however,
it goes from entertaining to downright impressive! So what creates these superhuman kids? Is it good genes? A strict training regime? We may never find out, so until then, all
we can do is sit back and marvel at these mini masters. Ready to meet them? Let’s get it on! SCHOOLBOY
There’s nothing quite like the extreme contest that is arm wrestling – a special table’s
used where two opponents try to pin the other’s hand to the deck in a battle of strength,
endurance, skill and technique. Alexander Bezyazykov aka Schoolboy, possesses
absolute Herculean strength and is the complete package. Schoolboy comes from humble beginnings – there’s
no real origin story to speak of. This is just a guy who loved pumping some
iron with his brother, who also happens to be an absolute beast. You could say this family has some great genes,
or the secret to super soldier serum, or maybe even have a jar of radioactive spiders in
the back shed, who knows? Schoolboy’s older brother Alexey is the
one responsible for introducing him to the art of arm wrestling at just 13 years old. He began competing professionally in the junior
circuit at 16. He progressed very quickly and could not only
keep up with people much larger and older than himself – he would beat them! A mix of natural talent, dedication, and training
is the key to his successes. Overall, he’s always placing within the
top 10 in all the open age competitions he takes place in – up against some pretty
tough people. He’s famous on YouTube for setting up in
Times Square – an open invitation to win $100 if you can best him – he’s yet to
lose a dime. MOHAMMED ALSHEIKH
You’ve seen your fair share of contortionists – Cirque du Soleil acrobats, yoga experts,
unbelievable street performers. But all pale in comparison to Mohammed al
Sheikh. This Pakistani SpiderBoy is already officially
the world’s best at the tender age of 13. The Guinness book of records gives him the
nod for most full body revolutions maintaining a chest stand in one minute. He did this an outstanding 38 times – shattering
the previous record of 29. He resembled something more like the offspring
of an alien being and a helicopter’s blades than a young teenage boy – his legs flailing
around his body at mind-bending speed. The pliable Palestinian’s secret? Well, nothing really. He was just born this way, with an extremely
flexible spine. Before you ask, yes, doctors have confirmed
that our friend does have bones. He isn’t made up of cartilage like a shark
that can bite its own tail. CEN XIAOLIN
Sometimes hidden talents are discovered entirely by accident. Cen Xiaolin’s journey began way back in
2012, when his school decided to promote skipping as a means of exercise. After just 3 years of training, Cen’s speed
is incredible, just ask the people at Guinness World Records. He set new records with 108 skips in 30 seconds,
and 548 skips in three minutes. To give you an idea of just how fast this
is, the officials had to play back the footage in slow motion 8 times in order to verify
the number of steps. This boy’s legs move just about as fast
as a hummingbird’s wings! Fast forward to now and Cen is winning gold
medals, and still smashing records – some of which are his own. He’s been dubbed the world’s most powerful
thighs due to the superhuman pace he skips at – as fast as 7 skips per second. That is blisteringly quick! Training every day is a small price to pay
for the humble jump roper, as his skills have given him an exciting life, taking him to
compete around the world – a far cry from following the family tradition of farming. ARCHIE NORBURY
When you think of dance music, a club full of young adults comes into mind. And the DJ? An equally young adult, working feverishly
to combine individual tracks into one continuous piece of music using just their ear, and years
of experience. What you wouldn’t think of however, is a
preschooler still learning their ABCs! Archie Norbury is a 4-year-old musical prodigy. As a 2-year-old he would reveal his hidden
talent after watching his father mix music on a set of decks. Since, he’s made a huge impression on the
music industry in a short time, playing around the world. Drum and bass, house, and garage beats are
what you’ll hear little Archie lay down, and he’s recognized by the folk at Guinness
as the world record holder for youngest DJ to play a club set. To accomplish this feat, he and his parents
flew to Hong Kong to showcase his prowess in the Bungalow nightclub. He played for a full hour in the club – whipping
everyone on the dancefloor into a frenzy. We just hope the kid doesn’t get bored of
clubs before he’s old enough to go to one without parental supervision. NIKITA KASYANOV
We’ve all seen the movie Rocky. It has one of the truly great training montage
scenes of any film. That is, until you see the Instagram posts
of Nikita Kasyanov. This kid is an absolute phenom, god help whoever
steps in the ring with or gets on the wrong side of this young Russian destroyer. This 9-year-old boy has absolutely astonishing
hand speed, his fists flying through the air so fast they become a blur – looking more
like a cartoon than a training session. His head movement, timing, and footwork leave
you spellbound. He accomplishes feats of high-level reflexes
and agility that leave you mesmerized. His punches are executed perfectly – whether
ripping power shots deep into the heavy bag, or landing laser guided jabs into the speed
ball. He can squat an astounding 70kg – that’s
twice his own body weight. He trains under the careful supervision of
his father, who is careful not to over train or injure his eager gifted son. Nikita hopes to compete in the Olympics and
be a World champ one day. This boy’s technique is absolutely flawless
– once he grows into his power, he’ll be unstoppable. NIKOLASS BERTANS
On the whole people love being in control, safe and a master of their own lives. Then you get the nutcases, the loose cannons
– adrenaline junkies with no fear. NikNak, otherwise known as 12-year-old Nikolass
Bertans, happens to fulfill both these criteria. He’s a professional Formula Drift racer
without even holding a driver’s license! For the uninitiated, drifting is an exciting
motorsport where the driver corners at a fantastic speed. They intentionally oversteer and break traction,
causing the wheels to create a massive amount of smoke. Style points are also scored based on how
high the slip angle of the car is as it goes around the corner – it pays to push your
car to the limit without spinning out of control. If that sounds insane, it’s because it is. All NikNak wanted to do was drift race from
a young age, and is fortunate enough to have tutelage from one of the best in the biz – legend
Kristaps Bluss. His weapon of choice? An absolutely crazy BMW E36 3-series with
a powerful V8 engine designed for just one thing – monster torque. He’s pretty good at it too, expertly guiding
his car sideways around the twists and turns of the race track. Can you imagine just how good a driver he
could be with a few more years under his belt? AJ STUNTZ
Back in 2015, pint sized wonder AJ Stuntz had already made a name for himself as a stunt
rider. It’s not every day you see a 6-year-old
doing things on a motorbike that most experienced riders wouldn’t attempt. He was born into the motorcycle world, and
is a true natural. Just after he learnt to walk, he was already
using a pushbike. At 3 years old he took off on an electric
motorbike and never looked back. It was around this age that he met world renowned
stunt rider Jason Pullen for the first time, and was amazed at what he saw. He told his mother that he wants to be like
him one day, and since then Jason took AJ under his wing, dubbing him the future of
the sport. He wants to pass on all his experience and
knowledge to make AJ an even better rider. He doesn’t look at him like a kid though,
but as the next guy to define the sport. His skills are a sight to behold, climbing
all over the bike while doing wheelies and skids, controlling the machine like someone
with 20 years experience. And now? He has another talent – rapping. He’s released some tracks and hopes to make
waves in the hip hop world too. ZAVALA BROTHERS
The love of winning is a powerful motivator. Ask any athlete at the top of their game and
they’ll tell you, you have to believe in yourself 100%. The Zavala boys are at the pinnacle of the
scooter world, and are no different. Big Air Joe aged 8, is the world’s youngest
ever professional scooter rider. His elder brother King Ronnie, qualified for
the world championships a mere 2 months after turning pro. The boys are both freakish talents. They train cross-fit every morning at 4am
without fail. No days off is the motto for their training. Their father says that while the boys are
each a very different style of skater, they do have one thing in common – the hunger
and desire to compete, even against each other. He’s their coach and number one fan, sometimes
spending 8 hours a day, 5 days a week with the boys at the skate park helping them understand
and nail crazily complex tricks. They say steel sharpens steel. Ronnie pushes Joe as he’s older, stronger
and has more tricks in his arsenal. But Joe pushes Ronnie as he is hell bent on
being better than his older brother – snapping at his heels for the title of King. AMNA & HAMDA AL QUBAIS
Motorsport just runs in some family’s blood. The smell of gasoline and burning rubber,
the thrill of the G-force sucking you back in your seat as you plant your foot down the
straight. The Al-Qubaisi girls come from good stock. Their father is Khaled Al-Qubaisi – a distinguished
driver best known for being the first Emirati ever to compete in the infamous 24-hours of
Le Mans race in France – even claiming 2 podium finishes. His daughter Amna has also made history by
being the first female Emirati to compete in professional motorsports. It had only been a few months since the prohibition
of women drivers had been lifted in the Middle East. Younger sister Hamda is a few years her junior,
and at 16 joined her elder sister for a dual debut at the Italian F4 races. These young ladies have been earmarked to
accomplish big things in the racing world, following in their father’s footsteps. ISAAC JOHNSON
How wide can you open your mouth? Surely not as far as Isaac Johnson whose bite
is something jawsome to witness. Verified by Guinness World Records as the
person with the widest opening mouth, Isaac can extend those choppers out a staggering
3.6 inches. It’s something more akin to seeing a seal
being eaten on shark week than a 14-year-old boy. Just to prove how freakish this is, he passes
the time by shoving baseballs, apples, orange, bottles, and just about anything that will
fit into his mouth to demonstrate the amazing gape of his oral cavity. Having taken the gong as world’s best at
such a young age, it’s entirely possible that he’ll break his own record as he ages
– growing even larger.
