This Is The Perfect Super C Motorhome For Full Time RV Living -- Renegade IKON

[Music] hey guys izzy from endless rv and we are out at north trail rv in fort myers florida behind me this is maybe my favorite super c we haven't had an opportunity to see one before this thing is an absolute tank of an rv [Music] it is the 2012 renegade icon this is the flagship super c for renegade so i'm going to give you a full tour of the exterior mj will do the interior so before we start just to let you know this is a 2020 this is a used unit just came in to north trail so it is still available the time we're shooting this video it has 14 000 miles on it and man this is some piece of equipment right here let's start right up front it's on the freightliner cascadia 45 foot chassis you have the on guard collision mitigation up front they don't really seem to know the specs as it just came in i've just gone off the renegade website it says it is the is the cummins isx 15 600 horsepower on this unit 30 000 pounds of tow just take a look i was going to show you it's already open but damn this thing is heavy i mean this is a big rig this is america right here this is a beast this is what it's all about we talk about classes we talk about the safety of a super c i mean damn look at this this is this is sitting in front of you head on you got to get through all this before it gets to this is the real deal commercial chassis a lot of power now we've driven the renegade verona le which drives like a dream i can't even imagine what this thing drives like this this must just be an honor to drive so let's continue up front you got the headlights big bumper up front you see up top you got the fiberglass cap all the marker lights and you're going to see a camera smack in the middle it's going to give you a nice shot of the front as you're going down the road you see this thing in your rear view mirror and you're like a little toyota corolla like we have rented you're getting out of the way so look down on the now passenger side you have your side view camera you hit the blinkers that will give you this shot of the blind spot going all the way down so of course this is a full body paint on the commercial truck chassis you're going to have massive front tires these are 315 80 22 and a half just big giant it's gonna be on leaf springs up front you can see the front of the hood has the paint protection you'll see it's gonna really go all around it's gonna protect the front from bugs whatever else falls victim to this thing one thing i like about this that i noticed the uh the hood release latches are kind of hidden right back here a lot of times you'll see them on the side but these are nicely hidden which i like got your marker lights big truck style mirrors and then you also have an extra mirror up top you can see blind spots straight down this is 150 gallons of diesel fuel so i'm six foot one right look at the height of this going down the road in something like this it's just it's got to be a whole nother level i really really like this the gross vehicle weight rating 58 000 the actual unloaded weight of this vehicle is 43 000 fiberglass walls vacuum bonded renegade is known they don't pump out coaches they make about 750 coaches a year high quality i mean you read the reviews on renegade they're all pretty much outstanding look at the slide rooms you'll notice on some other coaches you see screws going in right look this is all clean rounded flush goes right into the wall with this small rubber seal here this thing is just oh man it's solid so this is a quad slide coach and we've talked about other uh videos you know the super c you give up a lot in the front for that protection and that stability but this coach is so wide inside you know it really feels like one of the largest super seas we've been in even though it's 45 feet it's very big inside let's go to bay number one and we also talk about the storage in the super seas but you're going to see there's a lot of storage in here now first of all i want to comment on the doors to renegade doors these are aluminum doors they have very heavy duty right double latching here you're going to see your dual inverters and these things are running warm too so you have some forced hot air in here you see the air coming in true four season coach very well insulated you see the flooring they put like some kind of rhino liner like the bed liner in here very well made heavy-duty doors and you're gonna hear a nice thump when i close that yeah boom deep let's go to number two look at the size of this aqua 600d aqua look at the lines coming out of it how thick these lines are and again look at how clean everything is so hydronic heating this will run your hot water as well as all the heating throughout the coach very much like residential all frameless windows you can see up top you have the docking lights beautiful paint scheme it's like this gold gray color with some white mixed in i really like it here you have your samsung tv along with a bose sound bar double strutted like heavy all right continuing down the passenger side double outlets and this is not maybe it is plastic but it's pretty heavy duty has a heavy spring snaps it back bay number three look at how much room is in here and you have the dometic an easy glide slide out nice refrigerator freezer i don't see this lasting long coach no this this one they actually just got this in i've been eyeing this up online it was coming in last week and they got it this is not going to last long double step excuse me for the noise in the background with the highway there double step and we'll talk about the entry door a little later you got the lit up touch panel to get in whole passenger side you have the gerard awnings above but really going down the whole length of the coach you see the led stripping in there also more docking lights you also see a camera up top to give you a 360 view from when you're inside giving you as maximum amount of space that you have here right so you can throw some tools in here whatever it may be when you have a super c these are made to haul so you can carry the weight you have 10 000 plus carrying capacity plus you can tow another 30 000 pounds rear bedroom slide look how tall this slot is such a big unit you have the double axles here on the super seas it's not considered a tag axle it's actually a tandem axle these you can lock these out and uh you know like if you get stuck in mud or in something you need to lock those rear axles you can do that you have another docking light in the rear this is led you can see it again on the icon this is the flagship for renegade so you get the stainless running along the bottom here now this is really nice you know we we give the strikes to the super c because of the storage but this has a little spider in there this has a nice amount of storage going through it and then you got your final bay in the back here's your big 30 thousand pound capacity for your hitch some outlets in there all right so now we're on the rear of this unit you have a big fiberglass cap now talk a little bit about the construction of these units it sets a well-made unit fiberglass rear cap but this is all welded aluminum framing some of the other specs uh that standard on all renegades 2 and 3 8 inch vacuum laminated sidewalls with welded tubular aluminum framing like i just said 2 inch high density foam insulation in the side walls and welded aluminum frame wall cutouts welded tubular aluminum roof truss system with frame cutouts one piece crown fiberglass roof surface super sandwich floor construction will galvanize vapor barriers which include three-quarter firm plywood deck over two by four wood frame residential floor two inch welded steel floor joist system mounted to six inch steel longitudinal floor beams and 3.5 inch premium grade sound deadening and thermal insulation in the floor now that's gonna be really important you hear the noise out here wait till we go inside you can see the difference all leds in the back led marker lights tail lights reverse lights here's that big 30 pound i i i stand corrected guys this is a 40 pound tow capacity 40 000 pounds beautiful and the max tongue weight is 6 000 pounds so you can tow a lot of stuff with this let us continue down the driver's side now going down the driver's side you have your power reel here with your power cord also your surge guard dwell five onan this is a big boy this will run pretty much whatever you want and your buddy too here is your second slide in the rear bedroom another marker light you can see a little less room in the wet bay but it doesn't really matter right it gets the job done here's your your uh tank holes as well as your sea level the monitor whole house filtration here is where you're gonna dump your uh have your hose dump out now this is gonna be your either gray or black i'm not sure but it kind of runs all the way across and then you're gonna have it looks like they hooked up i don't know if that's from the factory aftermarket but you got your flow jet the macerator we actually have the same one on our motor home we did it aftermarket continuation of your tanks again we told you the freshwater will be inside so that's either going to be your gray or black or both here's your hydraulic pumps for your slides and now look at the massive amount of batteries in here this actually has three chassis batteries one two three and then you got uh one two three four massive house batteries in here pretty large but everything is nice and neat you see everything is clean well labeled finally you have the driver side door along with a nice antenna up there i'm finished up on the outside mj is going to take you on the inside which is really the yep all the way down really nice so i like this by the way this little opening in here under the steps so come on in you have a little wooden handle there now take notice of the noise and then i'm going to shut the door yes there we go there we go nothing it's quality all you hear is the air so let's come up there's so many there are a couple of times it's so heavy uh perks in here things that just are really cool that make it look so so nice here you oh gosh air rod love it i'm not used to that you got your nice big bust style wheel a lot of cool features here everything is literally i love it right at your fingertips air horn i need that you're going to give the guy a heart attack on the golf cart i love it now we love super seas but again as you see you're you're not getting that big class a windshield yeah but what do you get but you're getting safety you're not dying when you get hit head-on so the safety here obviously is is a perk of super season why a lot of people go with it so you can see yeah this is used so you can see a little bit of wear and tear but it's in really good shape for being a used vehicle um so here's all your you know your bells and whistles here's your radio sirius xm i like they got the cb radio so you can talk like trucker highway talk trucker talk yeah you got a little you know storage capacity up here okay with the little netting here's your battery level uh levelers okay there's some storage for you up there okay here's your slides all right and obviously you have two doors that you can which is another cool thing about a super c is that you don't have to come in the entry door but you can come in as you would on a truck so headed out into the living area so you get a little strip of carpet here it's a little actually there's some under the kitchen table too so here's some of the really cool things there's this happens in a quite a few places on this rig is take a look it almost looks like you're looking into outer space the way the lights are it's like fiber optic lights it's really very cool really cool but gorgeous gorgeous woodwork around the whole coach so you have your theater seating here power seats small little couch on the other side over here okay here's your samsung tv that's got to be at least 55 inches i'm not sure i want to mention this because again with the light they did a lot of cool effects with lighting on this so here you go again it just looks like an outer space type thing so the ceiling trays are just gorgeous this would be really cool at night with just those on yes with all of the the little the silver ones and the old ones yeah all right so here's your kitchen area large drawer right beneath the the induction solid stuff hard wood also soft clothes here's your dishwasher that's a nice size dishwasher all right you have samsung microwave good storage space underneath drawers in here there's the silverware full dovetail there we go yeah that moves yep dovetail soft clothes beautiful the backsplash is i think really pretty and i like this too because you can use this space to store anything when you're you know at camp you can or just in one spot put spices there or whatever that's really nice so you have solid surface countertops here's your induction cooktop that's a two burner nicely disguised when not in use moving over to the sink this is a deep deep sink a couple of outlets here one thing i observed i want you to stand again look at the size of the slides now we did a video on the king air this is taller it feels really big in here it does feel big and a lot of times we said this before that super seas you feel that the size difference because of that front cab but this i don't feel it in terms of width or height feels like a class a in in a super c body oh here come the nasty class a comments it's not a class a but it feels like it we're class a people too all right here's some pantry room for you some deep drawers okay here's your power your uh control uh center here all parashades in here yes control power shades yeah all right so on to this side here lots of window space so a lot of natural light coming in it's beautiful and now beautiful one thing i noticed there's no wallpaper in here right that's all soft touch right well that's this but i'm going to get to that in a minute yes this is a so that's real high end yup all of it you know different colors which really complement each other nicely nice little chandelier type light there this is beautiful you know why i like that's a residential stuff yeah italian it is italian my italian beautiful looking stone i love it i don't think that is anywhere else that's the only place that is so you have porcelain tile floors beautiful they're shiny i like it you have a lot of accent lighting all around the kitchen area like i said the ones i showed you before but you have this all around the counters the cabinets and then you go back into the one that i showed you before again it's over here which is it almost looks like it looks like a wine closet i like that the only thing is it's it's almost like wasted space but not but it's but it's nice nice accent all right we have samsung oh there's our water bottles this is a large samsung yeah this is huge refrigerator and freezer whoever had this took good care of it for sure all right moving on down we have our half bath right here more beautiful accent lighting medicine cabinet and more storage up here okay you have your uh flush power flush and then your all your lights your on your these doors these are solid doors all the doors yeah really really solid okay now your uh uses more pantry space for you wash your dryer splendid you're not hearing anything outside the ac is quiet it's nice every once in a while back here you'll hear a little bit of the trucks out on the highway but not much at all so coming into the bedroom you have a large living space out there and back here is where you're going to kind of feel that loss of space because of a super c but that makes up for it when you're out there so you got a nice king-sized bed once again those outer space looking lights on each side of the bed it's like um what's the ride in uh disneyland is this no no no no i know it's space mountain is it space mountain yeah good amount of cabinet space above oh look at that you could open all the cabinets right yeah the newmar didn't do that nice you know material on on all the valances and the uh the headboard is really nice again you're sacrificing room so it is a little tight on the sides of the bed you don't have that huge class a bedroom that you would get on a 45-footer but once again that's why you're on a super stay now this is really cool you have closet space on both of these but it goes behind the tv so if you go in there it goes all the way across and it's finished so you have a lot of storage space you have a rod there to hang your clothes so that's really cool and here's a nice deep deep drawer and then a little counter space but these are all this is all storage all the way across open a little bit of carpet on the slide so under the bed as izzy had mentioned outside you're going to have hang on second you have your tanks right under the bed here which is a great place for them because it's going to keep everything from freezing that's right and the pump is right there too if you need to access that pump right there yep both sound bar for your uh bedroom tv and here's your again your control panel for your your climate and all that good stuff okay then we're going to finish off with the bathroom again it's not super spacious just because of what you have here but it's a nice nice shower all beautiful dig that i like that so again height you you have plenty of room in here and here's your bench i mean honestly for for me at least i don't know about you i don't really care about the bathroom right you go to bathroom to poop and shower right like you want i want the living space i take the safety which is honestly yeah yeah which is what this has so you get more solid service countertops this is a huge huge mirror with the accent lighting there's your medicine cabinet okay your shades second toilet some kind of access door i know where that goes heavy again heavy doors on this yes you definitely feel the girth on these so you know there's some uh some substance to it all right so everybody wants to know the price now if you want big you got to pay babe so the msrp on this 2020 in 2020 791 thousand dollars this is a this is really super seas this is top of the food chain this is really not much better than this out there it's up there with show hauler and obviously this is a used unit so how do people are interested in
