phone they're saying up to two inches of snow today and it's going to be heavy and wet because it's 32 degrees out i wish we could stay inside yeah but i don't think our animals would appreciate that come in really handy for our new off-grid property but we didn't end up needing it so i never installed it since the weather's been nice i've been thinking about how handy this is going to come in this year up at the new property and with it being snowy out it's a perfect day to do it [Music] i was hoping this was going to be rain so we could see if the windows leaking or not at the shipping container cabin but it's not working in our favor today so me and three-point hitch attachments we have a love-hate relationship i don't know if i don't put them take them on and off enough or i'm doing something wrong but i'm hoping what we're going to be doing today is going to solve that problem huge you guys are better with three-point hitch attachments going on and off than i am which i'm sure most every one of you are give me some pointers oh yeah i need a bigger pry bar all right i'll be right back i hope this pry bar is big enough it's that we have some problems wow she really don't want to come off the other side is loose this side will not budge wow it ends up being the trash bucket if i'm out and i'm mowing and i find something i'll stop pick it up and over time everything just ends up in the back cap like where'd that come from [Applause] i guess it's a good time to empty it i got sandbags in here for weight that's the issue i have a 50 pound bag of salt in here i must have had it left over from something and needed the weight and the salt must have gone to that one bummer i was hoping to be able to take that nut off and just slide that out but that that's pretty well crusty too well the only torch i have here at the homestead is this small little handheld torch i got map gas in it it's the hottest gas it's outside it's windy i'm hoping it's gonna work we're gonna have to see worst case scenario i guess we could go into the shop [Applause] uh it's definitely hot nope nelly [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] so she's moving guys she's moving she is coming wow look at that we got it high five that was not any fun never put a bag of salt in your weight box i must have done that when i bought the tractor and i believe the tractor is a 2012 or 13. so it's been in the back for quite a while all right i'm gonna get the other side off now well that other side came off like it was supposed to took about two seconds so [Music] that heat should be kicking off any minute now it feels good though i hate to turn it off it's kind of loud when we're making videos the one downfall with the electric heat it's got the blower on it so it's noisy in such a small shop having a wood stove out here would be nice but i'll tell you what it would take a while to heat it up figure i better stand out some of this rust otherwise we'll be dealing with the same thing again shortly [Music] that'll be good and i spray a little bit of penetrating oil in there just keep it lubed up i'm gonna stick a little bit of grease inside each one quite a few of you viewers recommended that i get one of these last year i listened and i got one i just never installed it so this is a three-point hitch quick connect not a handle do not use to lift well we used it to lift with quite a bit [Music] boat this is harbor freight brand three point quick hitch from all my research i did last year on it this was i had good reviews there's a few modifications some people made for it but all in all everybody seemed pretty happy with it there's quite a few different brands out there when i was researching it for the quick hitches but this was the most affordable one that i found at the time and had decent reviews i have seen recently one thing maybe from tractor supply and it looks like it's just a quick connect here and that this arm still stays and you have quick connects that just go here for the pins if anybody has tried those let me know what your thoughts are so our top bar is going to attach here this bar and these rear bars we're going to take apart our pins here and put them in then we have our quick connect and right here spring loaded unlatches that then it looks like we can choose the height for this pin [Music] dang that's almost too easy to be like i wanna take this in some if i forget to tighten this nut up what ends up happening is this loosens up while you're driving it from the vibration and then this whole thing will just back off and this will get out of level okay so far that's gone easy i wish i would have put that on last year when we gutted man now let's go try it out and see how it works if it works as slick as it did going on the machine for picking up all the implements it's going to be perfect [Music] it was just 70s the other day this is a cruel trick it'll be melted by tomorrow [Music] that pin is locked in place so the pin i have is just long enough [Music] so [Music] it's even going to work on the weight box i wasn't sure the only thing i have to do is i got to raise this up a little bit because it's sitting too low this is as far down as this will go my only question is why didn't i put that on last year when i got it that's gonna be so nice if you guys have a three-point hitch quick connect let me know some fresh bedding huh i know we've had such nice weather since you've been on the homestead silly pigs [Music] wow oh we're up here at the off-road property to check to see if the window's still leaking i hope we fixed the issue the other day i'm not 100 sold that we did though all right we got quite a bit of rain curious to see no way ah nope there is there is some water the only thing i can think of i don't know where it's coming from it's not a lot but it's just enough so that means i have to take this window out and go get another one i don't know where it's leaking but maybe it just needs to get sealed better but before i do that i want to have a new one here so when i take this window out if there's an issue with this window that we have a new one just to replace it with these are just the off-the-shelf most inexpensive ones from home depot so i guess i know what i'm doing so we're excited because we're going to have something we've never had before i want to do salisbury steak meatballs i got the recipe from spendwithpennies.com [Music] got my burger and then i have a little bit of milk a quarter cup and then i have my bread crumbs i just took them on the freezer it's about a quarter of a cup and i'm going to put some parsley in [Music] here [Music] now i'm just going to put these meatballs in here to brown to brown while i get the sauce ready i have about 16 ounces of chicken broth here and then i have a tablespoon of gluten-free flour and two tablespoons of ketchup and two teaspoons of worcestershire sauce i always say it wrong i always get comments but you know what i'm trying to say so two teaspoons of that half a teaspoon of garlic powder [Music] and some parsley let's see fresh parsley but it does have dried a little bit of that in there and then it's a teaspoon and a half of dijon mustard so i'm gonna do three half teaspoons one two three so now i'm just gonna give it a nice stir mix it all good and then i'm gonna dump this over the meatballs and then i'm going to bring it up to a boil and then let it simmer in there for 10 minutes uncovered and then i'm going to put the cover on for another 20 minutes dear lord thank you for wonderful day smells good i can't believe the weather we've been having here the last couple of days 70s snow and back terrain but at least we got to see that the window is leaking i'm not glad the window is
