This Bluetiful Porsche 993 Could be Our Benchmark

good morning comrades welcome back to the channel welcome back to the nurburgring and i just forgot my helmet because we are going out in something that requires a helmet that has a roll cage so let me quickly grab that there we go have fun see you later see you later um yes we got it now and we can proceed to that magnificent beautiful porsche 993 we saw this car two years ago at could rio hansia training and i said this is fantastic fabulous mind-blowing obviously i would like to do a lap in it and today that wish is granted by its owner johan how are you doing hi i'm fine yourself yeah me too so i'm very excited to hop in into this yeah it has a turbo or a gt2 wing but it's yeah well it's actually the club sport wing of the rs club sport so you had two different versions of the wings back there and this i think it's one that gives a little bit of downforce and it was used on the so-called rm-003 package okay predominantly which was the one that was scaled out which was spare inside and um a bit noisier than the others but basically the ones that were more used for the the cup version okay yeah cool well and for the rest on the outside um big brake kits yeah with what pads are you running yeah i'm running jello pajeed they work very well with these pads fresh and new so hopefully they have a good bite and then on on the rs versions you had a very special brake caliper for the rear with different here different cylinders compared to the normal ones and that's also changed too yeah sort of replicate this this is built by a chef in the uk called colin belt who runs a company called nine meister and we need a really serious build so the idea is to replicate an rsm-003 club sport um the upgrades are there's a better engine up to 350 from 285 torque has gone from 350 newton meters to 430. the gearbox is changed it's short shift yes it's a tight gearbox with short 1100 rpms between 1100 rpms between the shifts nice this is a bit like a motorbike feeling awesome well i'm excited unless i've been last suspension was the suspension is is kw3s okay club sports three wings nice it's nice very cool oh yeah and also a set of cup twos it has been a bit damp earlier in the morning so hopefully it is dry we will see let's hop in do a lap and by the way usually i'm running media mod on my gopro this time not so you can actually see that it's just the gopro 10. so i hope that the audio on the inside it should be better because it's going to be omni-directional but right now we'll see and for the rest also just and the eight filter horizon leveling on and uh 4k60 just explaining you the settings because it's a new camera and i want you to know what i'm running and anyway enough talking hop in helmets on and go i still have the old instrumentational but the actual gear limit is now raised to oh or revlim at the seven and a half which is perhaps not so useful because the actual inlet on this car is um the restrictor i could go with um itbs and motec and then they say they can map it up to about four tenths for twenty yeah and because it's a us version it locks itself every time so so so [Music] so so so so yep so so so so so very nice that's good it's nice temperatures now yeah it's working it's very really yeah no interferences or anything really a bit of traffic but very good yeah it was nice lab very nice i enjoyed it you know yeah get the hang of it and increase the speed a bit more but you know yeah that was good for for cold tires for the beginning getting used to it and i think now i have a good benchmark for the c2 project that we're building the white 992 because this car obviously has a kw also club sport suspension and uh you could feel it properly that the car is driving as it should and not just like like a boat with the wrong alignment like the other car so this was very nice very fun to drive for a little fun to experience and now i know what to look forward to so you want thank you very much again for your welcome amazing uh experience and uh yeah i love it very very cool car very nice i also like the alcantara stitching that's nice so two days of scuderia yeah we had three days monday tuesday wednesday examination lap in the afternoon and that's always you know what we'll strive for to perform well and do a good lap and uh this is my third lap for a year so it's gonna take a bit of time to sort of get the temp you know get the right flow into it but so far you know i've normally done this for many years and enjoyed very much with a group of friends from the ring runners of sweden yeah should be cool well let's go keep it up yeah have lots of fun see you next time cheers that's really nice that's his yeah you're on eric's bill you
