new evidence had been found after 10 years well if the case was now closed there was nothing stopping me from selling the diamond was there the next morning i told my parents i was going to see a store i went over to where the most valuable jewels were it didn't take me long to find what i was looking for i reached out and picked it up suddenly there was a blare of lights and an alarm started screaming loudly the door burst open and the shopkeeper came in stop right there he shouted wait a minute here's the kid why are you taking this jewel i'm taking it back to where it belongs you stole forest no sign of any life so it looks like it was the jeweler that was telling the truth all along there is no such thing as the mallowy tribe i thought i was about to turn and leave when i heard wrestling noises coming from inside the forest i looked in the direction the sound had come from but i couldn't see anything or anyone i walked a little closer that's when i saw them two eyes were peering at me from inside the forest a few seconds later i was surrounded by about 20 men they were all holding spears and dressed in tribal costumes what do you want what are you doing here who sent found it that's the thing no one ever claimed the reward we just assumed that someone had found it and had taken it home with them we didn't care we knew it was worthless and if someone was dumb enough to buy it off them without checking it out then it was their own fault but a jeweler said he bought it from a mine and then it was stolen yeah i remember reading about that robbery of that diamond we were all laughing that a jeweler hadn't realized it was fake and that some stupid thieves had gone to all the effort to steal a fake diamond i didn't tell them that it was my parents who
