my first time watching The Wizard of Oz let's go ahead and watch this she isn't coming yet Toto did she hurt you come on we'll go tell Uncle Henry and that again come on and then just listen to what Miss coach did the total she's already pleased we're trying to Cone oh that's poor little things right over the back with a rake just because she says he gets in her garden and chases her nasty old and he can't catch her old cat anyway and now she says she's gonna get the charity we're busy oh how's she coming take it easy you cut my finger why don't you get your finger out of the way what am I going to do about Miss girls just because total chases are open listen honey I got them Hogs together think you didn't have any brains at all I have so got brains well why didn't you use them when you come home don't go buy Miss culture's plates then Toto won't get in her Garden or she could just carry Toto on her way home get in there before I make a dime back out of here she ain't nothing to be afraid of have a little courage that's all and the next time she Sports walk right up to her spit in her eyes that's what I do Dawson are you all right Jonathan yes [Music] why was she tight roping on in the pig's playpen yeah what's all this jabberwocking when there's work to be done Dorothy was walking along I saw you tinkering with that Contraption Hickory but someday they're going to erect the statue to me in this town but don't start posing for it now no place for Dorothy around the Pigs die no you may feed those hugs before they worry themselves into anemia really you know Miss ghost said she was gonna do the turtle Dorothy do you stop imagining things you always get yourself into a friend over nothing find yourself a place where you won't get into any trouble it's a place where there isn't any trouble Far Far Away behind the Moon beyond the rain wait this song is from The Wizard of Oz wow I always thought it was like from Sound of the music or Sound of Music the sound of the sound of music what trouble smelled like lemon drops [Music] oh boy is this that the lady she looks like our Menace to Society she just I want you and your wife right away about Dorothy you like dogs and menace to the community there's a law of protection folks against dogs that bite here's his order allowing me to take him wow wow she brought paper go against the law Dorothy I'm afraid poor total will have to go now you're seeing reasons but he can't attack me again Mercy I don't know oh my goodness just because you own half the county doesn't mean you have the power to run the rest of us I've been dying to tell you what I thought of you well being a Christian woman I can't say it look at her I don't know something about it she's giving Jay John a Jamison she's like get free pictures Arturo they don't appreciate you you want to see other lands big cities big mountains big oceans okay so that's not polite we haven't been asked yet as one dog to another huh you uh you'd better close your eyes my child that's all right now you can open a house with a picket fence wow and a bomb I mean what's her name what you doing but she's crying someone is just about broken her heart someone she loves very much putting her hand on her heart she's dropping down on the bed yo this guy's terrible I mean I guess it's a good thing because he's getting her to go back home but still oh boy oh no Dorsey girl come on now oh boy Toto come on oh whoa okay bro we just watched Twister on the channel That makes this scene all the more familiar oh [Music] okay come on visual effects what did I use in a miniature for the house [Music] oh boy oh I was intense I feel like this whole sequence for it to be 1939 had to blow audiences away oh well pun intended oh I got myself out with that one oh whoa whoa okay okay can we talk about how effective that was come on Technicolor magical wow they really did the thing this is my set design and a beautiful palette color palette I'm feeling we're not in Kansas anymore oh are you a good witch or a bad witch I'm not a witch at all well is that the witch who total todo's my dog the munchkins called me because a new witch has just dropped a house on the Wicked Witch of the East and here you are all is left in the wicked oh witches are old and ugly I'm Linda The Witch of the North I've never heard of a beautiful witch before the little people who live in this land it's munchkin land it's all right you may all come out and flank wherever you are it really was no Miracle okay wind began to switch a house don't they got some boars satisfying it to satisfy it it's lost his head she must have been pretty pretty evil they are cheering dancing celebrating her death oh wait a minute wait a minute wait a minute because yeah I was just about to say didn't we see how Piggly Wiggly is under the house that was her sister we could eat this is the Wicked Witch of the West who killed The Witch of the East was it you no it was an accident I didn't mean to kill anybody well my little pretty I can cause accidents too wait a minute my sister's toes just curled and went it's too late there they are and there they'll stay okay give me back my slippers I am the only one that knows how to use them keep tight inside of them their magic must be very powerful or she wouldn't want them so bad I'll get you my pretty and your little dog too it's just hilarious at the fact that that's the same woman that played what's her name Mrs Gales who was already upset with Toto she's a wicked witch over here and that's why I'm like is this a real land or is this part of Dorothy's imagination which is the way back to Kansas the only person who might know would be the Great and Wonderful Wizard of all he lives in the Emerald City and that's a long journey from here how do I start foreign but what happens if I just Follow the yellow brick room oh bruh that's all she had for her just Follow the yellow brick move people come and go so quickly here Follow the yellow brick road [Music] no which way do we go on me is a very nice way wasn't down that way too we're pointing the other way of course people do go both ways why you didn't say something didn't you that's the trouble I can't make up my mind I haven't got a brain only strong some people with our brains do an awful lot of talking how do you do how do you do oh I'm not feeling it all well you see it's very tedious being stuck up here all day long down no whoops there goes good to be free did I scare you oh no I thought you hurt yourself but I didn't scare you I can't even scare a crow to eat my field and laugh in my face what would you do with the brain if you had one why If I Had a Brain I could I could while away who could be a monster Lincoln [Music] I would dance and be married got the characteristics of the Scarecrow unlock can't call back and Kansas could do that the crows would be scared to pieces and I want to get back there so badly I'm going all the way to Emerald City to get the Wizard of Oz to help do you think if I went with you this wizard would give me some brains I couldn't say but even if he didn't you'd be no worse off than you are now won't you take me with you why of course I would you're not starting out very well oh I'll try [Music] I just love how Toto is casually along for the ride this whole film I feel like it started because of him interested since we just saw the witch oh we've been walking a long ways and I was hungry she was hungry she was hungry well how would you like to have someone come along and pick something off of you oh dear come along Dorothy Darcy we need to talk about how they pronounce it [Music] [Music] the trees are something a man made out of tins he said oil can oil can what bro here it is he said his mouth [Music] I can talk again all my arms please or my elbows did that hurt it feels wonderful I've held that ax up for ages how did he get stuck like that forget like this I was chopping that tree when suddenly it began to rain and right in the middle of a chap I roasted solid then that way ever since you're perfect now bang on my chest if you think I'm perfect [Music] tinsmith forgot to give me a hug no hot fire only had a lot to be friends with The Sparrows and the boy who shoots the arrow [Music] I think one of the things that I'm appreciating the most from this film is the intense character work that they must have done since you have so many different textures and personalities and characteristics for like the Scarecrow Tin Man their physicalities are unique and they really play up to that oh oh oh hitting that Michael Jackson are you all right afraid I'm a little rusty yet oh we were just wondering why you couldn't come with us to the Emerald City to ask The Wizard of Oz for a heart well suppose the wizard wouldn't give me he must oh you call that log why you just because there's Carol Wanna Play Ball [Music] the effects also you can take me to the wizard now I'll see you reach the wizard whether I get a heart or not you're the best friends anybody ever had I feel as if I've known you all the time back in Kansas nobody pay her attention or gave her the time of day to even hear her out but Scarecrow in the Tin Man that are just there for her do you suppose we'll meet any wild animals we might lions and tigers and bears those chilling in the same jungle [Music] [Music] I'll walk forward oh boy here here go away and let us alone I'm scared huh how long can it stay fresh in that can what you gonna do it Dorothy got hands do that for but when you go around picking on poor little dogs you didn't have to go and hit me did you what is happening why you're nothing but a great big coward you're right I have a cow don't you think the wizard could help him too I don't see why not why don't you come along with us wouldn't you feel the greatest to be seen in the company of a Cowardly Lion well it's all right now the wizard will fix everything I'd be brave as a blizzard I'd be the knife and the knife [Music] I'll take care of your mouth [Music] oh wow [Music] I can't run anymore I have to rest for just a minute [Laughter] not total knocked out [Music] um does help Dorothy you're waking up as usual weather [Music] oh I'm the winner [Music] nobody's ever seen The Great Oz even though I've never seen him I've got to see the wizard the Good Witch of the North sent me she's wearing the ruby slippers she gave her oh [Music] it's cool oh it's a witch yes of course what is she spelling sir he's followed us here oh surrender Dorothy oh we better hurry up we're gonna see the wizard it's a great and powerful as has got mad as well in hand we want to see the wizard right away all four of us nobody can see The Great Oz not nobody not know how not nobody not know how but she's Dorothy Dorothy wait here I'll announce you at once how come you just get to go in and see this what I'll be home in time for supper in another hour a big king of forests long live the king I was just triggered like The Lion King long lived it's the yodel [Music] his friends are very committed as well courage you could say that again the wizard says go away did you even check though it looked like we came a long way to see we're going to get you to the wizard we certainly oh wait I just thought about it is that Professor Marvel because the Wicked Witch of the West Was the lady who was all upset about Toto somehow I was just thinking I really don't want to see the wizard this much don't you know the whis is going to give [Music] I'm awesome who are you we came here for this if you please I am Dorothy we've come to ask you oh step forward Tin Man you dare to come to me for a heart yeah yes Joanna we were walking down the yellow brick road [Music] you billowing bale of bovine father bro uh and you Lionel frightening him like that when it came to you for help challenge with her Snapper first you must prove yourselves worthy by performing a very small task be the brutal Stick Of The Witch of the West bring me her broomstick and I'll Grant your request what does that have to do with anything though but the wizard does not seem like a nice guy to get help from is he is scarecrow carrying a gun oh [Music] like they really came and accomplished the mission they literally put up no kind of fight and you might need you give me those slippers whoa [Music] always escaping out of a basket [Music] look at this dude [Music] [Music] at the end the witch is so wicked there's Pluto he's come to take us to dogs Todo Loki came to save the day we've got to get around don't cry now we haven't got the oil again with us and you've been squeaking enough as it is there's only one thing I want you fellas to do talk me out of them oh no oh [Music] wow they actually won where do we go now hey Toto [Music] all right y'all let's get out of here [Music] why my little parties just beginning [Applause] right away will you let them let them a little fur what you think it's about scarecrow oh snatch the broomstick y'all oh my goodness [Applause] [Music] a little bit of H2O water would be the end of her that's all you have to do it he did you you killed her I didn't mean goodness this is literally become about a Dorothy the girl who keeps killing witches I don't I don't know what that's about we've done what you told us we brought you the broomstick of the Wicked Witch of the West ah you liquid I can't believe it was that easy I cannot go away and come back tomorrow [Applause] I said come SoDo if you won graceful features thank you he's over there in the corner working please pay no attention to that man behind the curtains I am the Great and Powerful Wizard of Oz you are you're a very bad man what about the heart that you promised Tin Man and the courage that you promisedly I have a brain that's a very neat great learning where men go to become great thinkers a diploma by the University of the honorary degree of THD thdhd I've got a break you are under the unfortunate delusion that's simply because you run away from danger you have no courage that we have been who are called Heroes they have one thing that you haven't got a medal conspicuous bravery against wicked witches Curry you you don't know how lucky you are not to have one but I I still want one in presenting you with a small token of our esteem and a pinch that a heart is not judged by how much you love by how much you are loved by others what about Dorothy yes how about yours the only way to get Dorothy back to Kansas is for me to take her there myself I'm an old Kansas man myself born and bred in the heart of the Western Wilderness the balloon failed to return to the pair well I was instantly acclaimed Oz the first wizard Deluxe wow I mean so were they technically all came for something that they already had courage a heart and technically unexplainable journey into the outer strategy that's what you want that I return the Scarecrow shall rule in my stand assistance obey them as you want me oh Toto totally we've been through too much bro for you be running away once more are you serious how is this possible the movie just I don't know where it's going oh boy if she was the good witch she could have just helped Dorothy from the beginning instead of saying go to Emerald City to find The Wizard of Oz and he'll be able to help you aren't you a good witch shouldn't you be able to will you help me can you help me you've always had the power to go back to Kansas because you wouldn't have believed me if I ever go looking for my heart's desire again I won't look any further than my own backyard because if it isn't there I never really lost it to begin with but again but that's so easy now those magic slippers will take you home in two seconds goodbye Tin Man now I know I've got the heart cause it's breaking goodbye I miss you most of all are you ready now yes then close your eyes tap your heels together three times and think to yourself there's no place there's no place like home wake up honey there's no place like home bro what was The Wizard of art like was it was it real was it fake was it a dream is it her imagination oh yeah I just dropped by because I see [Music] wait oh I thought wait who was who wasn't trying to figure out was Marvel professor in the land of the Oz or no remember me oh my gosh oh my gosh and it wasn't a dream goodness it was a place they were always in the backyard bro this was a real truly life oh my gosh and you're all here and I'm not gonna leave here ever ever again there's no place like home oh I think with the Wizard of Oz I really appreciated the overall message of the film that everything that you're looking for is searching for is within you you have everything that you need to accomplish um that goal that dream to be that person um you have it within you it's in your very backyard and I think having the same cast from beginning be the people in the place of Oz really help find that point and then having Dorothy wear those red slippers throughout the entire film she had it from the jump and I think for a lot of characters scarecrow the Tin Man the lion they had to just flip that switch in their minds from scarecrow if they get I don't have a brain too I have a brain you know or for the lion instead of seeing himself as a coward that runs away from everything like The Wizard of Oz was saying you have wisdom and that wisdom you know translates into courage you know what to go to what to walk towards what to run away from not run away but to walk away from and I still don't know whether the place of Oz is that without a dream was this all just a dream figment of Her Imagination a hallucination like Dorothy Williams says or is this like a real place can she go back will she go back I probably not because she learned that oh like right here right here at home like she learned she she learned so I don't think that she'll be going back and having the witch just be melted by water I don't know that was it's kind of hilarious all of the songs for me there wasn't really a song that stood out besides you know Somewhere Over the Rainbow but for all the other musical numbers to me they all sounded the same I would have to go back and listen to each one individually but it sounded like they had like the same beat same tempo just like change the lyrics but it sounded like the same song I don't know if anybody else feels that way but there wasn't a single song that stood out um to me besides Somewhere Over the Rainbow probably because I've heard it so many times growing up and I didn't know that this is where it came from but the Lion song the Tin Man song Scarecrow song everything sounded the same for this to be a
