hey I'm red it's time to rank every single FPS weapon in Star Citizen starting at the top in the S tier all the way down to the F tier with the best weapons on each tier going from left to right from PVE to PVP pistols to rocket launchers it's time to get controversial the first weapon we're going over is the arite laser pistol with 30 round batteries multiple fire modes plenty of attachment options and no damage drop off at range even though it doesn't pack as much as a punch as some of the other pistols it's ammo count and rate of fire will give you far more chances to hit those follow-up shots and take down multiple targets just keep in mind that some laser weapon shots might get stopped by Shields so if you or your target are close to a running ship there's a good chance those shots won't go through and hit their target it's a really great pistol but it's not quite s tier so the araly is going at the end of the a tier now onto the p8 SC ballistic submachine gun with flat recoil full/ burst fire modes and a high rate of fire it's quick moving G just like the archite It doesn't do a ton of damage per bullet but it does have plenty of ammo with 40 round magazines and Ballistic weapons obviously don't suffer as much from The Shield blocking problem that I mentioned but compared to other SMGs it really starts to fall behind it's not the worst but it's definitely not the best so the p8c misses out on B tier instead sitting at the top of C tier time for something long range with a scalped ballistic sniper rifle super unique double barrel sniper rifle with a burst fire mode allowing it to fire two bullets for every trigger pole and coming stock with one of the better eight time Scopes available with an effective range of 120 M but easily able to hit shots over a kilometer though it's unable to run a suppressor like most other longrange weapons which can put you in a more vulnerable position for every shot you take but the scalo is still a good weapon and gets to go near the top of the B tier so the Uber res energy pistol the only pistol that can actually injure its user by arcing its electrical rounds across multiple conductive targets it sure is something with a 10 round battery questionable accuracy and stopping power that fills second to the toy pistol when being used against a player it's not exactly the go-to for most it's not unusable but there are countless other weapons I'd rather have on hand even though it comes in some fun and interesting colors those skins aren't going to save you in a fight honestly I'd rather have a knife than a ues so it has to sit at the bottom of the F tier on a more positive note the F5 5 ballistic light machine gun has come to save the day with an insane fire rate of 1,200 rounds per minute and a drum mag holding 150 rounds this is an absolute Beast of a weapon with a fancy rotating Gatling Barrel the longer you hold down the trigger the faster the fire red goes like all lmgs it's pretty heavy which is worth remembering if you like to running gun with Med pens all over you but unfortunately it's another weapon that won't allow a suppressor so you're going to have to pick your fights the f55 is amazing and it deserves its spot here on the S tier following with another Weapon made by Gemini it's the lh86 ballistic pistol being the only fully automatic pistol in Star Citizen it's a fun weapon to run with only 13 Rounds in the mag low damage and absolutely zero recoil control when you switch it to spray and prey mode the pistol might not save your life but it'll definitely put a smile on your face I found that if you aim for the target's shoes most of the rounds will hit somewhere on their body the lh86 would be at the top of the cool category but for this it's down in the middle of the tier now to a favorite of players across the verse the custodian laser SMG with a 60 round battery and three fire modes being full auto burst and a charge shot which can find nine rounds at once it's no surprise what people like it easy to find and cheap to buy with plenty of attachments to make it work best for you this super low recoil laser weapon will make you feel right at home as one of the most well-rounded weapons in Star Citizen the custodian gets a top spot in the a tier time for something explosive the GP 33 grenade launcher equipped with a rotating six round cylinder 4 M explosion radius and max range of 200 M this launcher looks good on paper and even better in your hands but it feels weirdly underpowered requiring multiple direct hits to incapacitate someone and is pretty inconsistent with its rag doll effect when someone's within that 4 M and due to this you rarely see players ever using it hopefully at some point this gets fixed but for now the gp33 grenade launcher has to go to the end of the CTI onto a weapon with the most insane recoil is a double barel ravager ballistic shotgun able to fire one or two shells at once with 16 rounds total and the biggest kick of any weapon so far get used to looking at the ceiling between shots and make sure to have a backpack full of extra ammo as this shotgun doesn't like to do real damage unless you put the barrel into the target's mouth and forget about taking anyone out in full heavy armor as you might just annoy them instead of injure them thankfully if you like shotguns there are other options for you but the ravager is down in the F tier with a claimed max range of over 3,000 M we have the arrowhead laser sniper rifle as well as a charge shot delivering 50% more damage to the Target at the cost of four rounds of the 10 round battery and this weapon is somehow able to be suppressed even though the barrel and suppressor don't touch another good on paper but mediocre and practice weapon with the absolute worst eight times scope in the game both blinding you and giving you zero useful information at the same time I really want to like it especially with the range and lack of damage drop off but it feels super weak and combined with a small magazine and low fire rate there are just better options so unfortunately the arrowhead is down on the DTI from long range back to Close Quarters it's time for the s38 ballistic pistol running the same ammo as the p8c for a pistol it hits pretty hard for only having 15 rounds in the magazine and no fancy fire modes sometimes Simplicity is key and this pistol proves that by quickly putting down targets without worrying about using the whole mag if you prefer ballistics over laser weapons this is probably going to be the best pistol for you as just another solid weapon in Your Arsenal it gets its place at the bottom of the B tier up next is a personal favorite of mine the s71 ballistic rifle though it's not really an assault rifle but not really a sniper rifle either it sits in this gray area of a designated Marksman style rifle the 30 round magazines a max range of over a kilometer and an amazing unsuppressed report it's got a lot going for it fortunately it damage lets it down and barely more than an assault rifle while only being able to fire in single fire mode so missing that first shot can decide the winner I wish it could be higher but for now the s71 sits in the middle of the a tier back to the submachine guns we have the Lumen V laser SMG another identical twin design made by claron wner it's familiar to anyone that uses the arrowhead or arite pistol with a 45 round battery but only firing in five round bursts it stands out as different to say the least small weapon that feels really consistent when fired compared to some other weapons though its damage per round is low it's able to empty its mag into the target with a fire rate of 1, 1225 rounds per minute as a solid laser weapon the Lumin V goes into the C tier it's a space Futures equivalent of a stinger the Animus missile launcher firing salvos of three missiles at a time whether fired with or without a Target lock each rocket does about a th000 damage meaning if you can hit your target with all three they're in for a bad day but that's where the issues start although the lock on works correctly the missiles currently have a m of their own flying above and below targets randomly even if you don't move between shots plus with the system alerting the pilot when you lock onto them it's not ideal in its current state the animous launcher goes down to the D tier as the only revolver in Star Citizen the coda ballistic pistol has a lot to prove packing six 50 caliber short rounds in the cylinder with the highest effective range of any sidearm at 100 m though It suffers from high recoil and a low ammo count in the right hand can be deadly try putting a three times optic on it and doing some semi sniping with your new hand Cannon it's undoubtedly a good option putting it in the B tier the classic 12 gauge pump action V2 ballistic shotgun rocking a 12 shell drum magazine and the option for a suppressor this low recoil shotgun is a better option than the ravager still needing to be extremely close to do any real damage and requiring multiple follow-up s past tap an SMG or heavy sniper with a one times optic would be a better pick for Close Quarters it's not the worst shotgun on the list but it's still not great so it's down in the F tier another long range option is the A3 ballistic sniper rifle a super unique design which I love despite the terrible eight times scope which seems to be a recurring issue for Gemini made weapons plenty of ammo with 15 round magazines but the shortest effective range of any sniper with its damage dropping off rather quickly it just manages to pull ahead of the arrowhead sniper as it's more consistent and faster to followup shots it's in a bit of a weird state but for now it gets a spot in the C tier one of the Primary Weapons of the UE Navy is the Gallant laser assault rifle a strange dual Burst Mode weapon firing either three or five round bursts of its 60 round battery although it has a longer max range by a full kilometer than its little brother the Lumen V it does less damage per second and is harder to Keep On Target I want to like it but without some work it has to go behind all of its family in the middle of the D tier with another weapon that can Arc between multiple targets we have the atcas energy sniper rifle boting one of the cleanest Scopes in game with a 16 times om off stealing this optic is sadly the one and only reason to ever pick it up like its pistol sibling the uev you can injure yourself while firing it and it has some crazy skins available that won't help you in the slightest with only an eight round battery and the slowest fire rate of any weapon scope s tier weapon F tier for the final submachine gun we have the c-54 ballistic SMG locked in to only fire its 40 round magazine in full auto it's another the gun with a wildfire rate at 1,100 rounds per minute it runs similar ammo to the p8c but packs more punch the damage drop off hurts at the most putting it way behind the custodian in a head-to-head fight as a solid gun that will have your back the c-54 secures a spot in the B tier with only a few weapons to go we have the caror plasma assault rifle it's one of only two plasma weapons available in Star Citizen along with having full auto burst and charge shot from its 30 round magazine this is one special rifle although its damage drops off considerably at range it's both effective and popular for a reason with easy to control recoil and quick reloads it deserves its spot in the AER the last Gemini weapon on the list is the r97 fully automatic ballistic shotgun it hits harder fires faster and doesn't lose as much damage over range as its competitors with a 10 shell magazine and two fire modes you can set this weapon to full auto and spray a Target or general Direction with 120 pellets before needing to reload currently the best and most fun shotgun in the game the r97 closes off the C tier one of if not the most commonly used weapon in class is the P4 AR ballistic assault rifle another simple yet highly effective Weapon made by bearing it's no surprise where it's a go2 primary weapon whether it's of self-defense or taking down a hostile Bounty with a 30 round 5.56 magazine and multiple fire modes it's a versatile weapon that deserves its spot in the B tier the demo laser light machine gun is up with a tried and true design that can't be mistaken for anything other than an arrowhead or gallion sibling this is the only laser lmg in the game with a 100 round magazine and Flame max range of over 2,000 M it's nothing to S up what mostly holds it back is its strange recoil pattern and fact that laser weapons don't hit as hard as ballistics in most encounters despite the damage not dropping off at range most fights happen at less than 100 m it's a great lmg and it locks down the last spot in the a tier another 50 caliber short pist pistol as we get close to the end with a salvo frag ballistic pistol the only weapon brought To Us by hbe Gun Works it sure is an interesting design and can't be confused for any other weapon with a single fire long range or charged close range shot it allows you to decide exactly how you want to engage your target although it hits like a truck its accuracy recoil and completely misaligned iron sights lose at a lot of points leaving the Salvo frag pistol finishing up the deter the last CQC weapon to go is the Devastator PL shotgun the second of two plasma weapons in Star Citizen and comes with a unique charge shot from its 20 round magazine it hits super hard if you're close once you're even 10 m away the damage falls off a cliff leaving the user similarly vulnerable between shots just like the other shotguns charging up shots to make it do enough damage just means you can't react as quickly and will be on the back foot against another player it's a cool weapon but it only tops off the F tier now it's finally time to put the top three weapons in Star Citizen where they belong starting off with the only weapon more dangerous than a ship is the scourge ballistic rail gun an insane 20 mm projectile launcher able to F death some ships with a single hit a max range of 10 km if you can even see your target at that point as well as a five round magazine and barely any projectile drop it was always going to be high on the list the R Gun gets third place one way or another this weapon was always going to end up in the S tier it's the P6 LR ballistic sniper rifle as the only 50 caliber sniper in game it's a beast with eight round magazines a max range of nearly 2 km and arguably the best sniper scope available being the 16 times e16 not only does this scope range find for you it can even set you a zero to the exact range you need not just the nearest 100 whether you run it with a one time sight or the 16 times scope you can make this gun work for you in any situation b6l gets a welld deserved second place in the list and the very last weapon to finish off this list the fs9 ballistic lmg with a 75 round drum mag next to no recoil great damage per round and being the only ballistic light machine gun to allow a suppressor this weapon can be used for every Mission whether you're Solo or in a team you'll see most players running around stations with an fs9 combo in their back one fs9 and one specialized weapon like a sniper or explosive and as a bonus they're super easy to find in bunkers or in any hosle NPCs around the verse the fs9 takes first place for the best PVP and PVE
