The TRUTH about Phuket Thailand 🇹🇭 (First Time)

good evening from puket so this is my first time here in Thailand's largest island and naturally what does one do during their first time in puket they go to patang and that is where I'm staying so patang is like kind of like the calan road kind of party area here and yeah I'm on the hunt for probably a pad caral and definitely a chang because I've only eaten airport food so let's go [Music] guys so wow guys right away look at this so I guess these are these are not tuktok but they're kind of Tuk Tuk I don't know but I just see a bunch of them here so I got myself oriented and figure out where I'm going to actually be going here so yes I am so happy to be back in Thailand uh it's been 5 months since I've been here and uh I've never explored Southern Thailand which is where we are now but what I really want is a pad Kow like in the worst way like I would love a pad Kow right now but um the crazy area is called banga road so I'm going to go check out banga Road maybe I need to get some food in me first I don't know but I know I can get some Changs there that is for certain it is a Monday so we'll see what this area looks like on a Monday but oh that looks good whatever that is I want to sit outside and have a padow or something like that oh looks like we got some skew here all right guys tell me what should I do in uh patang this video will probably start tonight and end tomorrow but we'll see this is also where the beach is so yeah looks like we've got a place called street food so I wonder if that's like a bunch of different restaurants or something I don't know oh look at this we got all sorts of crazy Seafood here pork with basil on rice and egg that is basically what I'm looking for that is is like pretty sure Bad Gal um but I'm going to keep walking and see what we can find okay we've got like Western food yeah once again pretty much padal there all right guys here's the infamous famous pad kpal or God patang uh patang Beach walking Street uh also known as bangler Road okay so we're back in Thailand so I got to wait for the cars I don't have to right away here um you just got to go just got to go sometime okay we made it we made it I don't even know if I can film in this area cuz it's so crazy but um we'll try I don't know I got my phone locked up because yeah but the infamous batang Beach walking Street bangler Road here we go and uh honestly the music might be the biggest issue here actually I'm going to take an Instagram photo make sure you follow me on Instagram and hit subscribe it would really help me out a lot I'm sure this video is not even that great because uh it's so loud here oh you two guns two guns ping pong show oh no I've never done a ping pong show I'll never do a ping pong show because I've heard their scams okay looks like we can get Singas over here street food that is definitely what I need right now but I do want to see what's down here a bit oh looks like you can sit out here and have a really nice beer that looks like a cool spot to sit out and people watch okay we've got a Michael Jackson impersonator here guys look at this guy is this the tie Michael Jackson oh looks like you can get seash for only 500 bot which is like uh $15 got some like crazy bars here wow foke is going to be here wow that's crazy got some live music [Music] here okay I have to say so far this isn't as runchy as some of the other places like Vietnam or Baya it's good fun so far good [Music] fun maybe I'm just in the wrong spot I don't know okay it's a little it gets a little crazy over here Love Shack and over here are insane you just H you break it open over the rice ah so good so good get a little bit of everything in here let's see if they actually made it spicy for me cuz usually foreigners eat it they don't make it [Music] spicy usually takes a second to kick [Music] in no it's not that spicy yeah it's not hell spicy but it's really good I love Pat Palace my favorite tie dish oh yeah oh the eggs are just insane honestly eggs all over Asia are just unbeatable but in Thailand they're really crazy good so cheers guys I say it is crazy busy for a Monday I guess it doesn't matter what day of the week it is pong is always crazy so I really want to try one of those uh singha lights but it's like at a go- go bar so maybe I can find one elsewhere I don't know let's see what's over here this looks like a Vibe I would love right now but all the seats are well wait a second I don't know okay nope they just got taken okay yeah so I agree totally with whatever this gentleman is saying he's he's a great guy we know each other for a couple of seconds good for you thank you bro all right so things you can expect on batang I can't build much the music but I found a spot here so I'm going to people watch and have a CH oh my God what do I even do here wow this draft beer was $4.50 you know you're in a prime location tourist spot it is draft but very expensive for Thailand good afternoon guys it is the next day here and let's go to Patong Beach let's head over to the beach definitely excited to see this so I'm headed that way now now and I'm feeling like it'd be great to have a coconut or something right now and still need to get my first meal here ah looks like I can get laundry done here which I definitely will need to do wonder how much of the laundry is it's probably very cheap oh look look at all these fruits got a coconuts here dragon fruit ly oh they look good kind of want some hello uh let me see uh cold uh cold okay oh so good oh I kind of want some dragon fruit but I only have two hands but actually probably just going to house this real quick cuz I need to throw it out somewhere what's up bro oh man this is so freaking good that kind Tha lady took my uh trash went back there and took my coconut come to think of it what do you bought for a whole tray of cut dragon fruit it's very cheap it's like a dollar yeah I'm going to have to go eat some of that dragon fruit is one of my favorites and it's the white variant which I happen to like and I always get it in Thailand it seems to be so good Island anyway so guys actually I just stumbled upon a market here wow it goes down quite a ways wow you can get just like so many clothing look at that it's wild hello something Chang shirt very cool no pain no gain ah cool shirts thank you Gooden souvenirs yeah for you a just looking thank you bro some t shirts white shirts oh man I'm too too impressionable for this hello oh maybe I'm just looking thank you oh my gosh it goes down quite a ways this is crazy look at this one yes and continues outside of the market as well here we've got like some Handbags and stuff Hello we got all these shops here actually I got to say clothes are pretty nice on the way in here I saw this at night looks so interesting I have no idea what restaurant that is but at night like it's all lit up and it looks like a safari in there so this looks like a cool spot called Uncle Joe Cafe all right so oh oh this is interesting it's an Americano that has coconut flour in it or coconut yeah coconut flour not like a coconut flour is in coconut flour that you would use to bake but like a liquid coconut flour almost like a sweetener oh my God I'm going to get this every day I'm here wow I love coconut I love americanos you put them together this insane okay guys so take a look at this sick Hotel I'm pretty sure it's a hotel says Beyond oh maybe not maybe Shopping Center yeah it says Beyond Paton but what a cool design oh no this is a shopping center oh there's like a food market here or something beer kebab and food cocktail Wow Let's Take a look at over here oh wow there's so many cool things in the in uh puket just and I'm just in a batong area by the way there's many areas to puket but this is the most popular spot in at for my research hello hello so we have a food Plaza here with some skewers which are always good in Thailand and you can see people sitting out here having their lunch um yeah people having a singha here and oh man all the fruits I am tempted by all the fruits here oh they have the dragon fruit 60 actually that's a good deal oh wait excuse me sorry actually it was 40 bot at the other place but I think you got more at that one oh you can get a bon me here I haven't had a bon me in so long fresh fruit more skewers kebabs which by the way that Kebab meat looks so good there's an indoor place here as well love to have like one banana but you can't get one banana you have to buy them all fruit platter hello oh good thank you thank you what a cool place that Cook oel hotel by the way is uh supposedly really popular I almost booked that but it was like um almost $60 and um the one I'm at now is 36 it's just is good so actually really recommend commend the one I'm at next all right now what a place guys what a place I'm good man thank you water sports good thank you okay so here we are okay so here is the first look at the beach guys Patong Beach I don't know if this like the thing is for my research Thailand is home to so many amazing beaches actually have not done any of the islands so I don't think this is going to be Thailand's best beach but it's just a really cool Vibe here it's a good vibes here in puket so but if you're looking to like get in like take a really nice swim I'm pretty sure you want to go to cop or James B island or colant so forth and so on uh jet ski yes can okay I'm good thank youing I'm good thank you yeah you can find no you can all okay good thank you the uh solicitation here is very real but you're in a very touristy spot so all right here's spet um I wonder what's down there I'm curious I'm curious to see what those orange seats are so I think I'm going to go down there uh I would like to just sit out and like probably have another coconut at some point here so Pro tip if you watch my videos and you're like man I'd like to come to Asia I was once in that position in the United States watching videos always wanted to go to Asia and one of the things I learned come here got to be careful about renting a jet ski because there's a common scam which is if you don't take photos and you don't double check the jet ski before you get on the jet ski they'll claim that you damage the jet ski and then you have to buy the jet ski or pay a very very large amount amount to fix it and there's not much you can do so be very careful if you're going to do something like that yeah so let's see how much a beach bed and umbrella is okay one bed and umbrella is 100 bot which I think is God let me see here I need to get the conversions right okay under $3 I would say that's worth it so that's what these yellow umbrellas are you can rent these and then let me see I'm assuming you can probably get some food or something over here maybe that's just where you rent it I don't know I do have to say like you have like a sort of mountainous landscape here and you can see like houses up in the uh trees in the mountains looks really nice uh contrasting the beach here so yeah the there's a variety to the landscape here which looks really cool and yeah just the houses up on the mountains look amazing guys banana Roy oh I haven't had one of these in such a long time maybe Indonesia maybe since Indonesia maybe since changai ooh which would have been 8 n months ago oh man uh what's your best one banana banana plus Nutella oh uh do mango mango mango okay thank you I love mang well watch him make the rosi if you've never seen it before that gets really hot and that's how he makes the ROI on that plate get it's the Roy dough roll it out this going to be good guys heating up the walk or the plate or whatever it is got the oil siming simmering there the road floaty on there if you guys don't know this is like a crepe it's very popular in Malaysia Indonesia Thailand Myanmar I believe as well oh look at all that [Music] mango [Music] oh it's going to be so [Music] good okay so here's what we have here looks good looks really good okay thank you sir here it is oh wow I got to say that is a really interesting combination of tastes and flavors you kind of have the Savory from the The Crepe the Savory oily crunchy from The Crepe and obviously the mango is like heated which is interesting sort of like a mango sticky rice yeah that's kind of what it's like it's is really good well that radou is extremely good I was like I'm only going to have a few of them cuz I want to eat more later I just need to eat as much Thai food as possible that's the thing in Thailand but I ended up eating like 75% of it cuz it was just so freaking good I also want to point out you see this Turkish and Indian restaurant so I was surprised that this is a place that it feels very much like Malaysia in that there are so many different people internationally here like so many different people from different areas in Asia also uh Europeans here as well but I'm seeing like a ton of um people from India uh other uh Asian tourists as well as well as uh Russians other Europeans lots of different people here and the cuisine feels very International as well take a look at that so you can actually surf there that's pretty sweet let's take a look at some of the things you can do here so Wednesday seems to be a big day you've got a Muay Tai bite you've also got stoki will be on bangalo you can shoot guns there's there's shooting ranges all over the place here zip line diving it's like you can do like a zoo ride elephants which you can do all over Thailand [Music] ATVs lots to do here also laundry is O 100 B per kilogram oh only was 50 bought per kilogram tell you what I don't have the rest of my days booked yet it's almost I almost feel like I could spend this entire Thailand trip here in puket but I'm not going to be doing that but there's so much to see and do and here's the other side of patang that is a crazy place let me tell you look we've got some uh palal or um got schwarma chicken schwarma here roasting oh looks good interesting look you can get a massage here on the uh under here oh that feels like a very puket thing that you should probably do right but yeah I'm just enjoying watching kind of walking down this uh I don't know what you want to call it Boardwalk I don't know what you would call it it's right by the ocean here oh look very nice there's like a tree lined area here H so good now one issue having a hard time finding a bathroom I think that should be the bathroom but it's under construction maybe I'll dip into this McDonald's all right I'm loving it special McDonald's singot water so you got to at least buy something right you go in there and use a bathroom so got to get a water I'm going to continue my relaxing amazing walk here down the beautiful katong beach all right so this looks really cool Chino yard market and right next to it I don't know if it's the same thing but you have like an open air bar here and you've got like tons of really really awesome sort of like craft coffee spots like here's one right on the beach called respect coffee just about at the end of this walking stretch here but it looks like there's like a Housing Development over there again into the hills mountains whatever the hillside wow they look really beautiful they're kind of like Villas I think that Overlook yeah they're probably Villas that Overlook the beach I've seen that you can get some pretty intense Villas here in puket not where I am but other parts of puket at some Thai food guys this is like a really authentic Thai food place I think I'm definitely going to get some uh fried Morning Glory stir fried Morning Glory oh is so good and I did pad Cel yesterday but the Thai omelets are also insanely good but I feel like I need some chicken or something of course mango sticky rice oh might have to get a taii tea oh so much so much get Thai style barbecue here as well ooh very affordably priced as well oh right guys well instead of going with the pad capow which I always go with I went with a green curry fried rice and I had them put a fried egg on out cuz you you literally have to do it oh look at that oh oh you just you have to do it and I also got some Morning Glory which should be coming on the way but uh I hope it's spicy I don't think it's going to be I'm a COR okay has a decent kick to it I actually don't eat a lot of curries um but the Curry Fried Rice sounds really interesting to me and it is really really freaking good cheers also can someone in the comment section tell me what these are I literally have no idea what that what that is I don't even know what I'm eating I have no idea maybe a pee or something I don't know this is so good and here's the uh Morning Glory so morning glory is I believe water spinach it's like a Asian spinach um if you're from the States you probably have not had much of this but I could be wrong but I didn't eat much of it in the States this variant of it though has chilies which I'm fine with wow is so good it's in like a brown sauce always comes in like a stirfry sauce so good I would say moderately healthy obviously the sauce is not healthy but it's a vegetable and it's really freaking good so it was 255 pot for that which I don't know for me that's a nice that's a nice price that comes out to about $7 um for morning ghy uh fried rice and a water I feel like it's a nice price for me so yeah I'd say come here top floor of this restaurant looks like they also have I don't know if this is the same restaurant but it's the same building also have a bit of a rooftop here you can uh see over well I'm at the other ends now and I stumbled upon this Shrine statue of the Buddha actually this one's really cool 1 2 3 3 4 5 6 7 8 nine okay nine snakes I think they're snakes uh behind the Buddha Wow Let's Take a look at this yeah those are snakes yeah cuz you can see the base of the this Buddha is sitting on the snakes nine head snake let me know what that means if you know it's definitely I know seven and nine have some serious symbols in wow that's so interesting and then you've got the prayer offerings here H I wish I could read what this means yeah around the backside you can see it's a N9 head snake wow it's so beautiful wow so look there's also a skate park here in puket I don't know how functional these are it's been a long time since I've skated but I probably wouldn't want to hit that one maybe I don't know I don't know how functional this is but maybe that one but yeah this is cool Hello look like we got some fans here wow and another puket Thailand sign oh I was like what are they made of they're made of bottle caps from water bottles wow that is so cool interesting use of the bottle caps man I got to tell you I'm really liking it here and um looks like I think I saw this on the way in here but there's like a bunch of street food options so you can get mango shakes here smoo shakes hello hello you want beer uh no here for me how about uh how much is water water 70 20 two okay 20 okay one two yeah one one please yes soda okay I'll do this instead I'll do I'll do one of these instead I
