The Top 5 Offensive Playbooks in Madden 24!

think about Siri it's the time of year the offensive playbooks and defensive playbooks have come out on Madden school um we'll do a defensive video later but today we're doing the top five offensive playbooks I got some honorable mentions I imagine these are gonna be the playbooks on launch since you know some of the things that weren't updated for the Beta had some uh names and new stuff added to them for this website so I imagine they are the launch playbooks if not it is what it is and you know doing these top five playbooks is interesting every year because some things end up being like super power that you just you can't see like I don't have the game right now I played it during the beta and you know EA does bring in uh some glitchy stuff so like I want mentions first I'm clicking into the Ravens because as we know based stuff uh beta gameplay the quarterback run was very good right the quarterback ground was very good and one of the hardest runs to stop this entire past year was this QB rat play so I don't love the Ravens playbook but it's okay for running um I got a top five that I uh uh in the top five that I like running so Ravens is interesting I I think they're they got a bunch of course bunches almost meta it's at least like a tier a uh uh formation every year if not most years where it's tier s you know the top formation in the game um I wanna I wanna point out Colts also Colts have a sweet Bunch offset a bunch offset because of this read option play right here another very hard quarterback run one of the hardest runs actually in the entire game to defend last year and they're a bunch offsets so you can buy in a really good run which Bunch often doesn't have a great run along with you know just straight up bunch and verticals flood speed dig double a post was The Meta was at 21 uh early on double post was everywhere of course Corner routes have been good although you know defense a little bit better in the beta oh they got it they got dig return this this uh Zig route is incredible right here it's it's Unique but it's one people around the goal line all the time so if there is a bunch of the goal line just expect dig return that's the first thing or a running back wheel route they often run to so like Colts as an auto mention Steelers is an honorable mention too not only because I'm a Steelers fan it was The Meta early on last year because of this release route that beat press man they ended up nerfing right pressed man was overpowered but they ended up nerfing this release route a little bit after launch to make press man even better because EA's you know a bunch of dicks so anyways they got vert's counter bass I like this but uh I think the speed out will be good speed in there so they got a pretty good Bunch but along with that you can go from that to this empty Trace stack which we saw last year take over a little bit this fade outplay like it's like glitched where this doesn't get pressed you know how it covers three in a purple pattern they will press and knock the guy off a route five wide for some reasons glitch and this thing just didn't get pressed last year which made five wide viable because it was you know when there's a glitch in the game you can take advantage of it so 5y might look to be back there's a lot of good things QB draw I think like I talked about QB runs Madden 24 is very kiwi mobile now they said they kind of nerfed up a QB draw I played someone in the beta running kiwi drama to me I I didn't know what to do it's so hard to stop it right along with everything else you can do I I you know I ended up having to like base a line and stuff and then they could take advantage you elsewhere but really that was as good a chance as I had because QB running is powerful I mean just like it is IRL right so um they look good they got some other decent stuff but this only animal mention so I'm not going to go into it Steelers bills bills had that broken play pistol open Flex close RPO read flat wheel last year it got nerfed multiple times so bills could go back I know some people are really big fan of bills I didn't really see much else that I love but I'm probably missing something obviously you trips is here but you trips and Patriots um is better I think there's just more plays in it so it's one of the two with u-trips in the game Bills and Patriots Patriots u-trips is better especially with the trips tight end and everything that you do from both of them um I really like the Run and Gun too now one of the best routes in the entire games in the running shoot spread um this play right here called Circle this this Crosser from the outside guy is is really rare and a circle isn't in any other Playbook so if you want that place specifically is is run and shoot but I don't the run the running shoot got broken isn't in Madden 17 um when the option routes no longer optioned correctly uh so they broke that that you know I ran it a lot it was fun spread that uh running shoot was really fun but they kind of broken they haven't fixed it since maybe 25 will fix it um I like the Run and Gun a lot of people really love this tight Flex route with these close post patterns uh PA slot there's a lot of unique wide receiver across this wheel route in the beta and I'll talk about this more going forward uh you could like a high point against man coverage and then swerve and catch it now I know high points got nerfed they said this year but uh we'll see they are definitely worse though don't get around they're definitely worse um and man coverage that said that Nerf from the beta to now so that that's going to change the meta of course run and shoot generally has some good things in it but it's you know I don't mention I wanna mention this is strange that the Patriots didn't make my top five wait that's defense the Patriots gonna make my top five because generally Patriots are like my first book every year trips tight ends phenomenal you trips you talked about like these Patriots could very well be a top three meta book uh I'm just not gonna include them because we see them every year they got Bunch trips u-trips I don't know what more you'd want out of a Playbook than that obviously lost a slot offset last year so the ace lot offsets only in spread uh AKA pass balance we'll talk about that later so yeah I like the Patriots for sure and I think a lot of people will be in them and dominating in the Patriots the Packers got some interesting stuff the Packers were like I really wanted to put them top five because of some of the things they had here they got bunches they got Bunch tight end Bunch tight end is in four uh books this year Lions Packers Vikings so uh I don't think about top five so if you like the PA boot over Packers is looking great for it for the bunch that I think inside Zone RPO alert bubble um they got X spot they got this triple out which is a pretty good play here along with curl flat Corner uh so like they got Bunch tight end then interestingly off that this Bunch why no no no that's the wrong one Bunch strong offset this pin and pull toss along with this RPO alert screen could be nasty then they got a read option where the quarterback's going to the blocking side I you know the Packers could very well be really glitchy depending how this plays out I think the Packers have some really good stuff and bunch they got some tight uh the tights aren't the greatest tights they got trips tight end too that you can audible to munch tied into trips tight end to that uh Bunch strong looks like a very very powerful scheme and the Packers Playbook that you can go through um going you know over routes four verticals the Run game like I said it's gonna be a pretty balanced running year I feel like as far as like you know it's powerful and so you're gonna see a lot more Runners I believe this year of course you know they can't spam the same run over and over which is a big benefit but overall Packers all right so let's go to a top five sorry I've spent the first seven minutes seven minutes on honorable mentions this is gonna be a long one all right so first one I want to mention I'm a passer but I wanted to give a shot what the h I want to give a shout out I got to make sure I didn't dox myself there I'll I'll fix it in post uh I want to give a shout out to the runners um Bunch X nasty I know it's kind of taken over a little bit of the world um I think commanders have more nasties but what like I think stretches tosses they said they patched and helped fix Zone fake jet sweeps the runs in this are nice along with some pretty unique routes out of it for um uh the Niners so not only do you have good single backs right because I feel like every year um this is not the not my favorite one vertical half back out usually I mean you can hot rod this guy to go this way too so you can go you're running back either way but like you know these Titan attack type plays are like they're everywhere at the beginning of the year they're very good um especially you know you got you can run off it stretch off it your quarterback and Escape out the pocket like crazy since pass rushes it was terrible in the beta at least containing quarterbacks and then you got I form right I form slot close so if you want to go to like a three receiver set and you're gonna I'm gonna you're gonna talk about this in other things say you want to come out in something with three receivers like Bunch X nasty you could put like CMC McCaffrey for those that don't know initials you can put him at wide receiver and then audible down to like I form and then run stretch off of them if you see like a a I don't know a dollar or something or like uh you can you can all go down to a dive if you see them come out in like a bad set for your pass so I think that's a very valuable thing dig return we talked about driveway Corner um speed dig yeah Corner routes and everything are are very important in in the game usually so there's a lot of things you can definitely do in the 49ers as far as going from strength to strength and and taking advantage of your opponent's defense especially when you do an offense so this one I'd say the 49ers if you're a big fan of the run the 49ers books looks to be the best one now the top four will all be more passing so I just want to let you know this might be my favorite Running book in the game this year and we'll see of course going forward number four it's gonna be Cincinnati Bengals Playbook they have this Bunch app action we've talked about with the Packers they don't have that like toss that was kind of weird and that RPO screen but they do have a bunch offset okay Bunch offset like I said the meta and 21 you know bunch is almost always good counter a good run inside Zone split similar to counter but it's going this way so they got okay runs but this is you know it's a bunch offset so that the passes are really good and then they have uh what was the other one tight I forgot what height oh yeah yeah then they got four verticals out of Bengals two where you can throw the wheel routes there so four verticals is important post wheel drag um depending on how deep this post is uh what the kind of angle of that is and obviously a different receivers will run the route slightly differently depending on their route running um but I don't mind I feel like I'm there's one other thing that I liked in Bengals here they got a pretty decent under Center thing right here single back Bunch time and I kind of like you know uh cross drag here they got a stretch alert bubble the problem with alert bubbles is you can't flip it so they always know which way you're stretching you do have a Jet Sweep fake Jet Sweep um not my favorite but I feel like I am definitely missing something I forgot uh but yeah generally a bunch to tight is a pretty good oh yeah tight slot yeah yeah so bunch to tight audible was like The Meta so that's why Bangles makes my number four my number three which in my opinion is number one but it's very it's the spread AKA it's called past balanced and mud I don't know why it's called that way um there's no under Center outside of goal line nothing else is here so no one or Center except for goal line it's all shotgun but it's got the best shotgun sets in the game a slot offset is the only book in the game with a slot offset it's just the spread um this was this is really good still a slot offset crazy good we got Bunch there for people like bunch I don't run Bunch because it's been meta so long but it's it's it's an okay bunch I think it's not the best and then really what I like to in my opinion the best formation entire game is this shotgun tight slot open uh what you did with this speed out to a bench type formation PA read it's it's unlocked truly with a hot rod master or a tight end Apprentice specifically what you need but like a hot rod Master you could take some this this wheel route thrown right away like a streak wheel you could throw that right away against cover three any cover except for like coverage two cover two that wheel routes really important uh this this post pattern's a one play touchdown when you set it up correctly I'll be doing an e-book on the spread it also has like the word the most annoying formation entire game uh shotgun Monster's terrible and then you can go from Monster to was it flat not Flex um double stack and this four vertical play is it was it's like broken it's stupid it's some runs some good runs there and then it also if you really want to get even more to different slot offset with these swing screens triple like this peak Zone bubble you can go either way with it behind your blockers if they can pick up the blockers it's huge yeah overall this this post pattern's interesting stuff I've run that before so the this is probably the most degenerate book in the game but it's got no owner Center so I know some people are going to be a little hesitant there it's my number one but I'm gonna count it as number three because of how uh alienating it is in difficult but yeah it's it's so good um next up number two and we're going with the Jets Aaron Rodgers book we got single bag you know they're fine good but really this is more of a type like this is last year's tight PA cross Meta Drive Corner slot post quick bass there for your your only run but bench I still think Madden has been forever like a a tight slash Bunch which is kind of tight but like one guy wide some people like motion them back in to get him tight too but anyway shotgun tight I like I like I know they they say they they helped solve PA cross but it reminds me of when they did it to like a Titan attack a couple years ago they advertised how they looked at like the most used plays in the game and Titan attack was one of them they specifically targeted that one and it was just as powerful so I'll believe it when I see it that they patched out tight and then it's not that good because then you could go from tight of course to bunch um um actually I don't I don't know I don't know if I don't know if I like that actually Bunch what no no you go from tight to I form slot close like I said subbing a running back at wide receiver half back stretch blast jet sweeps that kind of stuff so if they come out in like a dollar you can then audible down to a nice eye Forum here to run the ball against them um shotgun Deuce close what was the other thing that I liked in jet um Broncos are kind of similar to the Jets I think I like the Jets slightly better but there's there's some you know I think tight you'll probably see because the beginning of matter is generally the same as the end meta of the last game uh but tight why off is is fine I guess nothing crazy but really I expect tight to be back a little bit like I said Broncos are close bills are there with tight um bills tight is not nearly as good though we mentioned bills earlier um and then Texans is tight is similar to bill so really Jets Broncos just because they're like the best tights in the game seem to be the number two meta in 24 to start number one though the number one book I feel like to start Madden 24 will be the Rams the Rams they got the bunchex nasty Bunch under single back there are some you know devoted followers of the nasty um so some some decent under Center single back forms that you can run RPO alert lookie out of uh trips I don't know I think anything with a good stretch uh is usable and then I want to say they got Bunch offset which we've talked about Bunch forms a bunch Offset you know offsets pretty good play inside Zone split they don't have the quarterback run like the Colts do so that's I think this is a worst one a bunch of offset than the Colts if you want to go Bunch offset the Colts had the best one uh but tight Flex I feel like carries this I like uh the wheel routes along with the PA post shot which is you know I don't know how many years it's been one of the better plays in the game and we'll see of course how much uh screaming blitzes happen this year no tight end alignments you can't block them uh which makes picking up Blitz a little tougher but you know a bench which was meta early part of last year until people solved that cross is good like I talked about um so yeah really I think Rams to go along with all those all those uh uh that nasty stuff to go along with the nasties they also they can just go straight to tight offset I think Rams you'll see a little bit early on but this is really for like the advanced passers I guess for the ones that want to throw the ball most of the time uh talk about the Niners and some of the running stuff and like Ravens even though Ravens got changed a little I think because of the new oh coordinator from was it Georgia and then like the Rams oh I don't like I don't like trips I like trips tight end trips is okay why off Trio week trips half back there's one other thing I think I found in here that I liked empty spoilers here yeah so there's a couple plays that I've missed throughout this video that I identified um not this not this one but that's kind of my my top five so 49ers Bengals past balanced AKA spread Jets and Rams by five let me guys know in the comments what you guys gonna start with
