The Table - Shabbat at Home

[Music] hi everyone welcome to our home shabbat shalom this is the first sabbath of a brand new month the month of Nisan which Exodus chapter 12 verse 2 tells us is a brand new year so let's start with the reading of a couple of scriptures in Genesis chapter 2 verse 2 it says by the seventh day God had finished the work that he'd been doing so on the seventh day he rested from all of his work and God blessed the seventh day and he made it holy because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done and over in Isaiah chapter 58 one of our favorites verse 13 Shiloh knows this one by high if you keep your feet from breaking the sabbath and from doing as you please on my holy day if you call the sabbath of delight and the lord's holy day honorable and if you honor it by not going your own way and not doing as you please or speaking idle words then you will find your joy in the Lord I'll cause you to ride on the heights of the land and to feast on the inheritance of your father Jacob the mouth of the Lord has spoken so now let's welcome the Sabbath by lighting the candles and separating this time as holy unto the Lord baruch adonai eloheynu melech ha-olam asher kitchen of the mitzvah table at Savano lihiot thoroughgoing Benetton manu at yeshua meshicheinu or how long blessed are you O Lord our God King of the universe you have sanctified us with your word you commanded us to be a light unto the nations and you gave us Yeshua our Messiah who is the light of the world amen and here would you invite the presence of the Lord father we just thank you for Shabbat we thank you for the gift of Shabbat and we thank you for your presence your Shalom your perfect peace which surpasses all understanding and we just love you enter into your presence and your shoe is knee Veruca Todd and I aluminum McCollum were a pre ago fan blessed our Lord our God King of the universe who brings forth fruit from the vine hey Thank You Yeshua for your blood that washes away all of our sins made us whole shoes knee look I am and now for the brett 1k live come help me do the blessing you ready baruch ATA adonai eloheynu melech ha'olam hamotzi Lechem min Haaretz blessed are you O Lord our God King of the universe who brings forth the bread from the land father we thank you so much for the body of yeshua that was given for us we thank you for health and our household we thank you for your provision that you provide in all seasons at all times and in the name of yeshua we say [Music] we have the two loaves tonight that has several significances one you'll notice that they're braided it's a special bread challah it's braided to resemble folded arms because this is the day that we rest from all our labor there's two loaves because it's so good we know that's not true it is really good but there's two loaves to represent Jew and Gentile and also the double portion of manna that was provided by the Lord so that they didn't have to go out and labor on the Sabbath and pick up the bread and now speak a blessing over our wives from proverbs chapter 31 Shiloh knows this one by heart as well a wife of noble character who can find she's worth far more than rubies her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value she brings him good and not harm all the days of her life she selects wool and flax and works with eager hands she's like the merchant ships bringing her food from afar she sets about her work vigorously her arms are strong for her tasks she sees that her trading is profitable and her lamp does not go out at night many women do noble things but you dear surpass them all charm is deceptive and beauty is fleeting but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised give her the reward she's earned and let her works bring her praise at the city gate and now we bless our family our children and our children's children may the Lord bless you and keep you may the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious unto you may the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you his peace you verificar do never use maracas yeah eridan Ipana Valletta vicuna ha yah I don't know honey Bella how there are some ha in the name of Yeshua our Messiah thank you for joining us in our home I hope this was a great time that you were able to experience the presence of the Lord in your home and I pray that even during the season where things are maybe not known and uncertain I just ask that the blessing of the Lord would overtake you in your home that the Lord would bless you and keep you and provide everything that you need for life and for godliness and so from our home to yours Shabbat [Music] you [Music]
