The Sub! | Trailmakers Submarine Tutorial

[Music] what's up guys you ever wonder what the heck is going on under the ocean like like what's the deal with these jellies are they good with peanut butter or not what the heck are these whales singing about and why these jerks got to be so Pokey with my do research sub I can explore tag and pinch my way to a greater understanding of the trailmakers universe in this video you can learn to build your own or or just download it that's probably easier [Music] anyway I'll begin with basic controls yes I'm using Gyros if you want to go over your shoulder to get to your ass and set up controls without Gyros be my guest I'll be keeping it simple now I know all these pipes seem like an expensive way to fill the interior space but they're really heavy and I'm using them as weight blocks to keep things [Music] balanced I'm also filling lots of the interior space with small pontoons I know it's weird adding weight and buoyancy just trust me balance is a Fickle mistress in trail makers and in the end end it works good so just go with [Music] it I know this looks strange from the outside these indicator lights activate and turn in so they can be seen in first person they tell me the status of my actuator arms the left lets me know that I've used a tag and if I want another one I need to repair the right side tells me that the Grabber arm is closed on an object and if I want to grab something else I'll need to toggle It Off [Music] [Music] to keep the flashing lights on when the tag is detached I'm setting the signal through an orgate that'll stay with the tag when it [Music] [Music] releases I'm keeping the strength very low on the hinges that make the Grabber close this this way if they want to close further than the object I grab will allow they'll Flex instead of break [Music] I'm using these small aerons as a trim system when the sub is in motion it tends to pitch up having these activate when I hit the gas will keep the sub nicely balanced when it's in motion [Music] [Music] [Music] this tow magnet at the rear represents one more button than my controller can manage I'm mapping it to the one key this guarantees a vehicle unconfigured alert and won't be an option for most console players just leave it with no input if you want I don't know what to tell you here I never used the chatpad when I was on Xbox so I'm not sure if it will actually accept inputs from the PC keys if you do please let me know in the comments so I can give people the right advice in these situations now there's nothing particularly fancy about the paint job basic yellow with a few glowing details a few Stripes to give it some character and back here I'm using these dark shapes at harsh angles to obscure the boxy shape of the tail now we have a sweet research and Recovery sub all we need now is some treasure [Music] [Music] and of course I made a weaponized stealth sub for tagging boats with dynamite what kind of savage do you think I am just watch my flares Flack and Rockets video to learn how I set up the dynamite charges or don't I bet you can figure it out on your own I I have noticed that my viewers seem to be a lot smarter than the average YouTube viewer so you guys got this all righty Blockheads thanks for hanging out I will see you in the next one peace [Music] [Music]
