so hello and welcome everybody I guess you didn't hear me in a really really long while I was doing a lot of different stuff in the past one or two years also a lot of stuff happened to me and was trading this site zero to hero as well worth it upload not all the tutorials on my youtube on my new youtube channel for free I was working on this side for a while and yeah so now I'm back with a new channel on YouTube which is called youtube.com slash curse three years you might have guessed so you can find every single new tutorial there also there will be a new upload every Sunday basically and yeah what happens VMO just simply deleted all my content because of copyright infringement always used some kind of remixes of songs for my tutorial teaser videos where are compressed like two hours of tutorial into three minutes so you guys can see fast forward what we will be creating and seems like even those unknown artists are not okay with weum oh so I had like two DMCA copyright infringements so I just simply they just simply deleted my my whole channel over the weekend and then I reached out to them wrote them asked them what happened and they said yeah they can't restore my channel I have to mail or write at MCA in the United Kingdom mm-hmm I need to get erased one of my infringements at least so get the channel back and my 6,000 followers and then I just simply said no you know what it um I heard from a lot of other people as well that we amounted to exact same thing to them and I'm not sure if this is the right policy because I could also they could have informed me then I could have jumped on there changed in music or maybe just muted music out or whatsoever to keep my followers to keep my channel basically there was my hope what folio was online there and stuff like that they just simply deleted everything and just gave me like one week of time in private mode to download at least my videos that I had on there and so that's it for me with him also yeah I'm back mr. Torrio's I'm back with a brand new channel and so yeah please check out and subscribe at Crystal you you can also chip in a little bit at patreon if you want to if you want to support the channel keep it alive keep me alive and give me some food from time to time if you want to but anyway we will be jumping in the next week's a little bit deeper into something that I don't know not really much people talk about or not many tutorials exist or at least not good tutorials or whatsoever so we'll go a little bit more into character animating basically more animals and a little bit of freakin a little bit of hair modules instead of Maya instead of cinema 4d and so on and so on and then maybe making some animations and stuff like that so we will creating really really cool stuff and today this is what we will be creating this is basically the wire and this is then the final picture I'm not sure if we can create this picture to 100 percent again I can't give you this scene file if you want to I will just upload it so you have two original one that I made mm-hmm they will try to recreate this as good as we can so basically this snake is not modeled by me a lot of stuff gets 3d scan nowadays especially animals as well sorry about that still a heavy smoker so sorry so a lot of stuff today gets 3d scanned if you ever have seen verses from man versus machine if you ever have seen this video all those animals are 3d scanned as well they had a little bit of an talk at a maxim meeting about this video I think that the secret for something like that and they also told there that they went to a museum where I think a friend of 10 works and asked if they can maybe do some 3d scans of some animals and stuff like that so I definitely know for sure that the Fox in this video and this bird this ol is definitely less release can't the thing is just you save a lot of time with 3d scanning because you also get all the texts already so all the Halla maps for the for the fur later on for the hairs later on and so on and so on and of course you get the geometry so this is a really really cool thing to do and also saves a lot of time instead of free modeling everything from scratch and so on and so on so there is a site on the internet which is called digital life 3d torch and they basically try to scan every single animal that lives on this planet so this is this is what you want to do of course they also need some money so as you can see create extremals of the sea turtles fundraiser is my life so you can definitely chip in some money if you want to support them and we will get more and more 3d scans after a certain time so when I click here on 3d models you will see that we already have some 3d models to download there which are absolutely for free which is awesome so you can see some frogs which we can download already as you can see these are only diffuse textures so for frog we will definitely would make this here need to make this a little bit more lossy a little bit more glitchy stuff like that and as you can see here sharks scorpion a gecko and what our downloaded was basically this rattlesnake right here and a timber rattlesnake is a specific venomous pit viper endemic which is most popular in the northeastern United States their fangs are long enough to penetrate through crossing so that's not really cool you don't really want to mess around with this snake basically but of course you can if you I don't know if you think that you were really cool but anyway so let's click on this picture and what we can do now is here on this video we get a little bit of a little download button and if you click here on download then we get to this sketch website you just have to create a trick account here on Facebook or whatsoever and then you can download this rattlesnake so this is basically what I did and this file comes in a blender format so you just have to install blender blender is for free for everyone so you just simply go to blender.org go to download blender you can't unload it and then we get these two folders which is called source and textures and here then we just simply open up the timber rattlesnake and as you can see this snake is already raked so there's a little bit of an animation there so as you can see it's a little this S curve where this snake is moving along as you can see like this and we will actually delete this rig for now make our own rig inside of cinema 4d so here on the right side you just have to go to I think amateur or to this animation pose I think you have to click on post and then I right-click and go on let me see this where is it come on or animation right click the animation tada this doesn't really help right now snake amateur I think you just have to click here the snake amateur and then click on delete and this will get rid of the complete trick on this snake and then we just go to file and export please and people I think export this as an obj if you wanna keep this animation which I did basically on this on this shot so I just kept the animation of the snake that was already there and then you can just simply not delete the rig and then go to export and just simply export it as an Alembic file so this will keep the animation inside of cinema 4d i will show you this quickly first of all next export is in the same folder obj just hit enter and planar should already start to export that as an obj should be done so here we have our JB's which here is seventeen point four megabytes and then we just simply close blender open it up again because I have no clue in blender how to undo things and stuff like that so I'm not really a blender guy I have really no clue and if you want to keep this animation we can also export this as an Alembic file so let's go export a lambic and then we also say it is in the same folder and hit enter this will not take a little bit of a while I guess as you can see here we get this green bar so this takes a little bit of time for sure till this is exported but then we have also this nice animation we don't we are not keeping the rig actually but we're keeping the animation and this is what we then can use inside of cinema 4d if you want to but like I said we will build our own Rick and this will be a little bit more more fun so you guys can see how I would do this in inside of cinema 4d maybe okay so let's wait here a little bit longer okay it's done let's open up cinema 4d and now we can try out those two different files once the Olympic file as you can see decides not one point eight two gigabytes because all the animation information is stored as well so let's just simply drag this in here we can leave everything as it is click OK and as you can see now we have the animation inside a cinema 4d as well what we could do now is basically if we're going for a steel shot and not a movie or something like that you can just simply I don't know skip to a post that we like maybe something like this is right here and then we can just simply go snake into objects current state to object they need our animation and then we have to snake exactly in this pose of course this is not moving now anymore but this is how we can make now a still shot of the snake and this is exactly what I did actually for my shot right here I think I even used this pose here around here I guess something like this okay anyway so let's leave this let's drop in our obj file that we created so we can leave everything as it is and as you can see we're getting our snake right here which has a translucent material on it so we will delete this and now we can see our snake as you can see this is yeah like kind of a rattlesnake maybe this rattlesnake did eat or something like that because as you can see this snake is not completely even it has here a little bit like a fern kind of an I don't know stomach or something like that so it gets a little bit hits a little bit smaller than it gets a little bit bigger and it gets a little bit smaller again but it is just how this rattlesnake that they scanned him actually did look one problem with this tricky scam actually is if you really want to make a movie out of this maybe a snake that is coming to the camera opens up her mouth and then maybe we can see the teeth like really aggressive and some venom may be spilling out of the teeth or something like that if you want to do something like this this is not possible with this model because as you can see this is so dense the geometry so dense that we cannot even cut here probably a mouse in or something like that so we can make this happen so that the snake opens up her mouths what we need to do is we would need to reach up with this so to remodel this with less more geometry actually and then we could model in the mouse the tease the inside of the mouse you know like the pink skin and then we could also bring in here some eyes as well because as you can see here the eye such as basically only a little bit there and we would need to definitely add a sphere here so that the eyes can move as well and stuff like that so if you want to do something like this like that in the future just simply comment under the video tell me hey Dominic come on let's make a little aggressive snake video maybe an intro for your channel or something like that where the snake comes at the camera and opens up her mouth and spit some venom out and also moves their eyes and stuff like that then we can definitely do it for today we will only make this still shot whether my house is closed because we have no way with this model to really make this work it would be a lot of work to do this so this would be a little bit too much for one tutorial okay but anyway since we want to make this snake now a little bit moving we definitely have to make a Rick you can go here character character there is an option actually to make reptiles and stuff like that but I think this trick is more like for some kind of crocodiles and stuff like that I mean we could use this here traitor spline create a hair to create the tail as you can see there would already be a char which we don't really have because we can't open up the mouth wouldn't really matter we could still use that and then maybe add a lot of much points here for the spine like maybe 50 or something like that so we have a lot more movement and then we could also add here on the spine the tail and then bring everything in place and see if we could make this work but I think for this actual job it's better to create our own Rick so we'll just go into character or was it again character and then go to the joint tool and we will jump into the right view here and we will hold down control and better we will also enable snapping and able snap right here let's make sure that we attic snapping is enabled and I think we will set a joint like at every single one of those cubes here so from here to here because this mesh is so dense that I cannot really like set the joints here I think I have to orientate here on this little back cube set cinema 4d is showing showing me so for the hairdo we'll make one long one a long joint so let's hold down ctrl left mouse click and something around here and then we will just simply start to set one here maybe the first one and then the second one like I said I will orient it here on these things here let's orientate this years let's put this here than here here so with this line here is this line and and so on and so on doesn't have to be perfect yet so they don't have to be like as you can see this goes up a little bit this goes down a little bit so doesn't need to have have to be perfect yet so we just keep on doing this stuff till we have the complete snake you can take a little while so show something around like 50 50 joints but this will also give us a little bit of a more nice movement the other since that mesh is so dense this will work out really really well so let's keep doing this all right looking good so far and here a little bit more and then here we have the back we could also make this move at least I'm not sure about a rattlesnake I would need to do a little bit more research how this tail really where a rattle is how this really moves but I will just simply set here a few joints like a few smaller ones so I cannot really orientate sorry on anything here but I will just make a few smaller ones here till I'm satisfied yes something like that maybe and here I don't think a last one yes this is not right bigger like this okay might be just fine okay okay okay so what we can do now to bring this a little bit better in place I think is we just simply open this up get the root out here of the snake bring this down here and I'll leave the first joint in place but I will select all the other joints so let's click on try to and click your middle mouse button so everything else is selected and let's maybe leave the last joints out so control all the control key and just tick them off so because I don't want to move them right now but all the other ones I want to reset in the coordinates I will set this here it is out here 0 0 and 0 okay so now it's pointing downwards doesn't matter we'll just go to join two and I'll bring this up like this let us really know this was completely wrong direction sorry let me get in there again let me reset that okay now let me see what's out here again zero and whatever happened here I have no clue but we can now control this here by doing this okay so this brings it in let's go to the top view let's see what we need to do here 11 degrees no that's not right that's just set it here to zero okay perfect and then we can control this here a little bit better something like this yes that's good almost good against 25 might be paid at 24 might be perfect alright and then we have to bring it down a little bit here oh this is okay sorry I have to bring this here 23 maybe I think maybe 22 might be better maybe something 22.5 might be perfect so and this should not be exactly aligned yes okay that's good I like it it's exactly in the middle maybe you could pull this here a little bit more upwards but I think it will just work out fine for us I guess maybe we should adjust the tail a little bit as well so I would need to find this joint here this one right here this would be joint 40 and then I could just adjust it tail if I want to but I think the tail is perfect okay all right so what we need to do next is we select all our joints just click the middle mouse button and see that all the green X's are pointing upwards actually this is also important if not you can always go to character join the line tool and then just go up X's and then go a line they should bring all the joints in the right direction when we click on them do this here and make sure we filter that what was it again multi selected XS is turned on so you can see actually what's going on with the XS if you are here in the Move tool as you can see all up pointing upwards so that's really good so that y axis is pointing upwards X is going in the right direction and set as well so that's really really good ok so what we want to do now is we want to select all our joints so let's just click on chart1 and middle mouse button and then ctrl key holding it down and select the snake mesh as well and then we go to character comments and go to bind and this will bind now our joints to the mesh so that the mesh actually does deform so this should be it so now already our choice should be bind to that snake so if I clicking on the roots controller basically and if I move this as you can see the joints are moving with the snake it's not doing much right now but this is definitely moving if I would not rotate this joint here I think they should also already work so as you can see all the joints are moving with the snake which is not really what we want right now but it's okay we will give this joint one here now and a key tag so let's go to character tags and go I K so as you can see here on the right side we have done a key tag and we will show this a key tag I'll keep this is our first joint it knows that joint one is the first trunk now but we also need to tell now okay our last joint here is joint 47 so we pulled this in here in the end and this should already work now for us and what we can do now actually is we can't go to dynamics and enable our dynamics and I think drag was at 107 arthritis and the strengths was like maybe at 50% and he should let me reset this joint first of all he should not give us some movement and also what we need to do he and I key tech go to forces because as you can see the force is set like on the rest so - not not 9.81 so we left some gravity going on of course and this is why the snake is falling down right now so if you would move to snake it would look like this dude did it dude did you do I'm a walking snake actually so she would walk on her tail which is not really what you want so we have to go to zero gravity let's just type in zero and this should get rid of our problem here so as you can see as we move to see a little bit the snake starts to come up words and let's just bring our snake here in today right direction what we can do now is start - move - snake like right and left you can see we are already getting this really really nice snake movement right here let me just pull this forward a little bit like this oops then I can just start moving our snakes as you can see it's really moving good right now maybe not perfect let's play here with this parametres a little bit like maybe drag directly z250 pulls you down to 50 it would get a little bit of something else 100 let's maybe go to the strengths Louis - 20 years something like this so it's all about us basically how we work this arts but I think 50 might be just okay and now we have at least a rig that we can play around with and to get our snake maybe like as you can see when I move this really slowly it's moving really really good here it might be a little bit too intersecting this would not be good so let's maybe pull down the strings I don't think the strings is doing this is such a drag I guess to 15 not perfect yet that's maybe good it is 100 rotational hold maybe bring this down it's 1% Wow Oh God ok rotation oh no it's not good lets me bring this back to 30% oops my mistake again I just see how this works out yeah I think we can work with this it's not too bad actually because the snake would be moving like this and as you can see the body is definitely reacting to that so you're getting really some nice snake movement right now so the only thing that we really would need to do is actually set a keyframe here on the roots or for the root X Y and set and tell maybe we go - I don't know frame 10 and move just a little bit forward maybe to something like this set another keyframe and also print a snake a little bit more to the right like this another keyframe and at 20 which is simply let me see where we're at here whoops it's definitely moving too fast so that's not good see what we could do to really animate that I think there should be more of a curve actually I think you would need to know go way snake I wanna get this point to you actually let's go to the route again let's see what I can do because right now it's moving linear so what we could do is go to window timeline F curve open this up and see if we could regulate the movement here a little bit more so as you can see this is linear so I don't want to have this linear actually when I have this as a spline and then we could make this like this maybe as you can see so they should also map is our snake a little bit better so as you can see now a snake is moving like this which is way better actually okay so let's see what's happening and the snake is moving way too fast now like really way too fast so we have to bring this up like maybe to 90 frames or something like that so that the snake means like maybe three seconds and as you can see the curve is still not perfect so would still need to work on this curve on this thing I don't know why the y-axis why this thing is moving in the y axis probably because I set a keyframe so let's just delete here the green line we don't need any movement in the y axis actually oh okay this was a little bit too much for cinema 4d I don't know why so position Y right here should be deleted now and let's see what it's not should be only moving into X axis actually and they should give us maybe the animation that you want it's still moving linear I don't like that so let's go to X let's see if we can make you maybe a little bit of a harder curve I should be able to create a point here when I hold down control and click then I can make a curve like this maybe direct this adds a little bit more come on okay let's see what we're getting now yeah looks a little bit better as you can see and now is this curve we could probably make an animation even thought this doesn't look too good right now but we could just make maybe here we could play around like this with it so we're getting this s-curve movement from the snake like all the time we would just need to repeat this step actually over and over again to make the snake moving so I think you get the idea how we could make this this snake move like a snake even thought this is now way too much movement actually so we would need to bring this down like this bring it up here a little bit but then also like this let's bring it up a little bit more further so we would need more frames like 120 maybe and then we could bring this up like this so further and we could just simply work on this but we also could do we could just simply trade a spline maybe and let this snake move on the spline this would maybe also help a lot basically but you could also do it like this even though this is not perfect yet but you can see we would get this snake movement here definitely if we want to we on when you're perfect let me try the second thing as well let me delete those keyframes maybe just go here and here and what we could try I think there's still a animation going on yes okay what we could do is we could try to make a spline maybe here maybe I'm let me just see this maybe how do we get a nice s I think I could just simply create a text actually and let me create a text the mother it's really been a while that about you cinema body and actually so let's jump into the text let's create an S hello okay yes perfect and what we could do now to simply make is editable and we could delete here all the points that we don't need so we get a really nice s coffee okay good let's delete this and then we also go to the spline and say no we don't want to close the spline so now we have a little bit of an s even so it's not perfect but to pull down those points a little bit maybe including this one it's another perfect s-curve but I think we can work with that for now and we just simply pulling this down like this all right bring it in front and then we can I'm not sure if this is working but up but I hope so it will I think the S is a little bit too big so let's make it smaller maybe like this and then we could try to align our snake to the spline so let's go snake mesh and go to what was it again I think Corona here mograph no no I think there was some kind of thing it's here target was it tortured no I lied to slide here we go I lied to supply and then we can just simply draw drag our let's just simply call this a guess for now our spline here into the spline pairs and let's see if the snake is doing anything that we want no she's actually not okay first of all let me rotate this text because I think it starts in the excitement wrong position so like this okay but the snake is not really hopping on there I'm not sure what it is maybe it's not working with Ricketts mitad madrid characters because this is not working right now which is kind of funny I guess maybe what we could try is to put everything into an owl group objects and then we could pull this here into the null object and see if that works it actually does not but it's still moving so there's still some key point set so let me get rid of those let's go to there I'm gonna f curve again and let me see if there is anything said to you right now yes in the set XS we still have some thing goin on okay but it should be it let's see if it works now no now we have no movement whatsoever anymore but actually we need to animate this here in the position oh yeah okay this would work okay that's good so we could just go frame zero position zero and at frame 120 we could just go to position 100 then we could ladies nice you can see snake would now follow along this path actually which is pretty pretty cool so you can just make one s-curve after another also player of course this movement is not perfect yet because the s-curve is not perfect so you definitely need to play around with this spline but I just want to show you another way how we could make this snake move okay so that's good that's good that's good that's good so let's get rid of this pass here I don't think we need it anymore let's just move us make a little bit around till you find something that we like here maybe something like this Moo this looks cool well let's go for a little bit of a different shot that I created and what we wanted to know is first of all we want to create a texture so we'll work with octane today you can of course use every other render engine as well so let's create an octane material right here and okay Tim plug in its activation please activate for me perfect and now we can just simply load here cinema 14 image texture no diffuse and a good thing is about a 3d scanning you really get a really nice UV mapping afterwards so let's just take this one here diffuse final which comes with the project it's in the source folder I think or in the texture folder that comes with the file and as soon as we drop this on here you can get a body by the way get rid of the normal tag you know I think oh maybe not okay let's maybe just leave it that's maybe just leave it and let's put this texture here onto the snake yes you can see everything fits of course and we can hit go to editor and up to previous size here a little bit to 2048 so we see this a little bit better what's going on to see and we could start to make here the life view in hgri it's your own work environment right here and now we really need to load some kind of HDR I think it did use one of my outdoor HDR eyes you can use basically every HTI that you want I think I use this one the Columbia one this maybe this one I will definitely go for an Ottawa HT RI because this is definitely an outdoor snake that you don't have at home basically so and then we also change you to pass tracing let's render this once yeah okay this is really really flat right now not enough power on the HT riser will just simply up this here as you can see we already getting here on a snake I don't like the movement for now to be honest I think I have to move my snake a little bit more yeah maybe something like this better yeah something like this okay see as you can see now here we have our rattlesnake which is good then we could also make it plain basically and as you can see the snake is not perfectly aligned but we can just need to change the plane for this I think instead of moving our snake around when we found the perfect position this would be bad so let me just switch this plane come on what's going on here I don't like that let me just stop here there life viewer right here so we can see a little bit better what's going on where's my snake now pocket here we go and let's move the plane upwards like this let's go down there and see when we hit snake actually there might be good ok not perfectly aligned yet let's maybe go here into the coordinates up it a little bit more to minus 0.6 maybe yeah that's good let's see if we're colliding yes 0.65 maybe whoo oh my god my mistake okay still not enough 0.68 maybe okay almost there - four point seven still not there seven - might be fine okay I think now it might be perfect and let me move to sneak around again I think I just lost my thing here because the dynamics are constantly updating we can get rid of this by the way if we go into the IT a key tag and then just tick off here under let me see display advanced I lost it again advanced continuous update here we go we can just simply get rid of that which is not good because not moving anymore I think just up to step see as well and although we can maybe switch off okay now just find a position we can like the snake come on snakey nothing as soon as we found a position that we like we can just simply for a steel shot for now we can just get rid come on move it baby yeah maybe like this is just fine I'm not sure I think it is it might be fine okay and then we can just go current state to object objects current state to object and we could get rid of our rigs snake now and just go with the snake that we have right here of course the snake is now not moving anymore but as you can see this is how we can make a rig and then just simply when we have it exactly as we want our little snake then we can make COO and state to object and just leave it right there and that's for sure other option as well so that the rig is not moving anymore but I'm just doing it like this if you really want to make an animation out of this of course you cannot do that as as I did okay so anyway a finger also added a little bit of a dirt texture here for the floor I just have to find it quickly give me a moment okay found it which is spewed and let's just go here create shaders in him over the octane material and we will just load here image texture locust dirt here and pull it onto the plane and let's say to see as you can see this is way too big let's say to see two cubic and let's maybe bring this down to maybe five five or something like that maybe still Topeka spring it may be true too all right might be still a little bit too small now let's make it three three something like this let me see how I did the original shots by the way okay okay okay okay so we set this up here a little bit better maybe something like this I think the movement of the snake is not perfect yet but we have to deal with this now just like this what did I do with the camera exactly go away let me unlock this here so you can see little better what's going on okay just like this maybe we need to make the ground a little bit bigger maybe four or four percent something like this yeah it's my picket then I think I wanna play around here with the color of the flow a little bit so let's go diffuse and let's add here color correction and we could play around a little bit to hue let's maybe make it a little bit more like a little bit more of a sandy look something like this and we could also go down with saturation maybe a little bit not sure yet and I also want to make this sweat a little bit so let's go to glossy here let's go an index of 1.33 which will be actually water and then we just go up with the roughness so it's not so reflective and what we also need to do we need to add in displacements even so this is now not really a black and white map it would still work a little bit so we can just make a displacement a displacement paste shader so here we have our image texture amount is maybe 0.1 centimeter so we get a little bit of displacement here and I think it's in the wrong direction so let's go here invert yeah that's better and we will also increase hit a resolution a little bit might still be too big to be honest let's create a camera first of all because I like the angle let me see now I think that's too big so let's get maybe go 0.05 or something like that might be better and I think I wanna make the map a little bit smaller it still looks too big to me so let's go three percent three percent but then we also have here a reputation let's maybe I can change the offset here a little bit because I don't want to see that the map is repeating actually my final shot okay I think we have just to go with four four actually yeah I think it's good enough okay and then also here on the snake we definitely need to make this year a little bit of glossy because a snake not glossy as that but I think something like a letter or something like one point six five maybe one point seven something like that would work out and we definitely need a bump map we will just we don't have a separate part map but this map could also work a little bit as a bump map so copy shader this is no perfect work whatsoever but this is just really really fast how we can make kind of a good shot as you know when you look at this to make it look kind of realistic without doing too much so let me check this in the roughness it will also set this same map and then I will just simply play around with the mix to make it more glossy or less glossy they will also depend on the bump the bump is really high right now so let's bring down the boundary to 0.5 maybe and I think I also want to change the lightning a little bit so let's rotate this around till I really get light maybe from one direction maybe from the back or something like that this would maybe help in something like this oh maybe when I have it from the other direction that's awful like this alike actually I really do like this but I don't like the camera yet you have to go something like this maybe and it's still way too glossy that's for sure if we look at the snake from this angle let me get rid T of the after texture in the roughness so that's just up the roughness he a little bit this does become a little bit more later and let me up the bump a little bit more 0.7 maybe we could also go with some kind of displacement of course I think like this might be good but I think that bump is not too high what point follow maybe maybe one point four is just fine okay now let's look here I mean also the third floor texture is not perfect because it's not really a big texture this is why it's repeating so often not if we go close up you can see that's really really bad so that's not so good maybe we should work with a different texture let me search for one all right I think I found a seamless one which is good so let me go in here and let's see how this map works out so that zero zero seamless doesn't look too bad I think I like this one way more and I think we can go a little bit bigger with this map so let's go five five here maybe you might still look good okay and also to like I think not a shot the angle we can keep this camera of course the fingers which should definitely only change the lens because you would not go on a rattlesnake with a thirty six millimeter lens actually because obviously fifty millimeter lenses something like that and then pull it to thirty six millimeters this would not be a good idea I guess I think he would definitely work with something at least with the 135 and as you can see then we go really close up so just pull this but I think this would be more the way to go actually to make a shot like this in the wild everything else would just be a little bit too suicidal I guess and I think we can go like this the shade under on the snake is not perfect yet so it would definitely need to rework this a lot actually but I think if you're only looking in the front of the snake this looks ok might be a little bit too glossy as you can see here in the back the bump map is not really working and as you can see this breaks out a little bit you will definitely need to work with this placement and stuff like that on his snake recreate this map probably so we really get a black and white map for each snake and so on and so on so this is not really the best way to go but for such a quick shot I think we will be fine so let's go something like this and let me also change here to color a little bit of this texture because I don't like it yet to be honest let's when we go down with this iteration a little bit more might be good and we can also make a camera tag get a little bit of an EU F in here as well so let's just go camera enricher also wanna enable and let's now just play with a little bit of NTU F as you can see this is way too much already let's bring this down let's bring this down and let's also click off out of focus and give this camera take a protection tag so we can move the camera by accident and then I will just simply play around here is the focus distance which is probably around I don't know somewhere around here so we had the head in focus here around 36 okay you have to look at the camera - laughs view again yeah now we have this in focus and this gets really nice out of focus which is good aperture edge we could also up to 2.5 or something like that so we get a little bit of a rounder aperture here in the background as you can see we starting to get these little circles here in the aperture which I really really like but you can also go without it we can add here I've been getting already if you want to we could also do this later in Photoshop as well but let me add here a little bit of wound healing already so looks pretty pretty good and then we could also play here mr. responds a little bit so basically add a curve instead of doing it in Photoshop we can do this here right here in octane see if we find a curve that we like better than the original one or the neutral one I'm not sure which one I used I actually do like this one but it's really a matter of taste to be honest all right just look Touche be this is definitely not something we want to go for this is too dark - pink - pink again too dark I don't like this one either don't be too Brown maybe I think I like this one actually I'm not sure not sure like I said it is really a matter of taste so you can play around with this as long as you want I think I will just go with this one for now and he could also add a little bit of post-processing which post processing which I would leave her outfit is shot actually and yeah then we could just simply go and trend the results let's maybe make it double the size here by two by two so two thousand five sixty four thousand four forty which is that we like a normal format but I will just render it out like this so let's click on render to picture viewer which is not working because we also need to assign octane render here in the render settings and then go to render to picture viewer and they should then render out our picture I'm not sure how many samples we need definitely a little bit more because of the duf going on but i think we will be fine and like maybe thousands or two thousand samples and maybe also the aperture might be a little bit too strong here so we I think I want to lower this a little bit more let me pull up the life few again I think that is still too strong so let's maybe bring this down here to 0.3 so we can see a little bit more of the snake of the back of the snake 0.2 maybe this might be better let's just go to render to picture few again and then we will just simply bring this whole shot into Photoshop make a little bit of color adjustments and maybe I don't know make a strong a whinnying or make it a little bit sharp or whatever we want to do and I think this will definitely help and by the way you will also get the original shot where I did create you snake so you can play around with this scene a little bit more and see what I did and stuff like that I also did add and lens overlay from a lens pack that I did download where you have a lot of lens Stewart as you can see this is where this red what here comes from so I also take this in Photoshop I will show you this quickly and I think this rain is really really fast actually would you like I think we can use it like this already maybe ok looks good so let's just simply close this safe up the image go to window picture viewer make a right click save ass with 16-bit if I wanna save it in my desktop timber rattlesnake spirit let's open up Photoshop and like I said here also the poky lens direct I will show you the link where you can find this lens start it's for free rather unloaded it and so you can download it as well and let me just drop this timber rattlesnake image into Photoshop right now thanks a bunch and then we can just go Camera Raw filter here for the beginning as you can see I don't like the eyes right now you will definitely need to remodel this and also give the eyes a different look because the eyes would definitely be a lot more classy a lot more reflective like it's kind of class not really glass but something like that so we would definitely need to separate this eye texture from the rest sorry and I think I did this on my shot so with the cinema 4d file that you're getting from me I did this with the eyes so I get a little bit of a better eye look actually so as you can see we can play here levels the contrast with the clarity if you want to make this a little bit more sharp but as you can see like this maybe doesn't look too bad then it could go down as a saturation a little bit more control here the colors in the HSL maybe change here the oranges so you can't see the flow a little bit to something greenish or something like this but actually I think I like it like this and we don't have any greens or blues and then we could also add a little bit of a vignette in a little bit more if you want to as you can't see the fella in okay then we could make this a little bit more brighter go to levels here and make this a little bit more brighter actually something like this and I make it use another curve if you want to go here maybe into the blue Channel I like blue a lot actually then just maybe here in the shadows I could go a little bit more blueish something like this maybe but then bring this up here that's way too much actually yes something like this and maybe we could finish the shot right there even thought it's not perfect but I think you hope I hope you get the idea of the basic rigging of how you can make the snake move how you get the 3d model and then how to basically texture it that you also can use the textures a little bit for for bump mapping and for displacement even thought it's not perfect but you can definitely make a realistic shot out of this if you want to like I said if you really really want me to make this maybe really an animation and remodel this whole thing so we can really model in a mouse with T's and stuff like that and making the skin and making this really look like a realistic snake then just write me in the comments tell me what you want and by the way I also want to show you this rooster before I stop here I also want to show you what I did just use I figured you try different lens textures just drop this onto the picture here by the way so this is one lens turret make this bigger so it just fits the image and then I hit enter and I'm not sure where's my hello there is my complete side thing here hello okay let's just switch it a photograph feed and I should get it back I don't want to work like this please okay and then we just simply have to change here the opacity actually this is what I did so just bring the opacity down of this layer and then we can add here a little bit of a lens that if you want to I think I didn't use this texture at it just play around with some of them maybe I did use a shoe maybe I use this one which looks really crazy kinda but might be okay as well please bring the opacity down so we have a little bit of an overlay as you can see just a little bit a time we could bring in another one maybe this one all right place and bring down the opacity as well I might be way too strong actually I think there's too much orange going on this as well it doesn't really work I think I used that one maybe but I'm not really sure to be honest I really have no clue maybe like this all right then bring down the opacity I mean of course we could also just simply make an overlay or something like that could play around here with different methods overlay like this and then bring down the opacity might work out a little bit better for us so you can just simply play around with sister textures and get this little bit of a look that I had so as you can see here this red thing that I had here and stuff like that this is coming from this the texture there at lanes texture pack okay so this was the first tool after a really long while we will go much more deeper into animal rigging like maybe a tiger or something like that making the complete here making the textures for a tiger if you don't have a 3d scan and stuff like that so this will be really really interesting weeks and interesting months hopefully for you guys like I said every Sunday there will be a new upload so just check the channel every Sunday if you like to and yeah you will get all the files you will get my original cinema 4d file you know where to get the snake now to download it or maybe other 3d models you want to unload from this side and you know where you get the there are textures and so on and so on and you know now also the basic rigging of the snake how we can make it move different methods to make it move to make maybe an animation and to make the snake move so we can pose it like we want to post a snake in our final shot and you also know how to work with the textures a little bit on the snake even thought it was not perfect but it wasn't really about the texturing of the snake anyway it was more about the rigging and the movement and stuff like that but I think the shot still doesn't look too bad only I really don't like the eyes to be honest we will definitely need to rework this on this shot actually okay so thanks for listening I hope you all have a really really great day and I hope you you learn something and I hope I catch you soon basically on next Sunday so have a really really great week bye bye
