The SIMPLEST Way To ANIMATE CHARACTERS in AFTER EFFECTS (Puppet Tool Tutorial)

let's talk about the puppet tool in After Effects so in After Effects we're going to drag our character into our timeline it's literally just a PNG nothing special then we're going to take our puppet tool and create a point at the waist and you'll notice this creates a keyframe on our layer now we're going to go through and create a bunch of more points on all of the joints so that we can animate it now once I'm done there you will notice that I have all these keyframes I'm just going to move ahead and start making a few adjustments so I'm going to tilt the head to the right here move the neck down just to even it out maybe bring up both the shoulders because I think I'm Gonna Make Her shrug and then move the arms like so and once we're good you can go ahead and play it back and you'll see we get a nice smooth motion very simply now we can add a few more keyframes just to Loop off the animation and we get something pretty cool so super simple way to animate characters
