My name is Laura Hackett Park. And I'm a worship leader at
IHOPKC and I have been the last 20 years. We're at the prayer room right now. The prayer room isn't about
getting everyone to stand and clap It's a place to lock in
with God to picture Jesus and to sing straight to His heart. It's so cool that we got
to come and do a devo video in the prayer room. And these songs to me
are like, they're so dear to my journey in God right now. Shalom, especially because
I've really struggled with fear a lot in my life And I had nightmares for years,
growing up and fear has been like something that the
enemy comes against me a lot And so you can't just ignore the fear You have to replace the
fear with the truth. Shalom is like a declaration
of God's promises for those that belong to
Him, for those that fear Him. But you just think about

give body, soul and spirit. There is nothing reserved for yourself. And obviously in pregnancy
there's no reserve, like your whole body takes over to produce a life, someone else. And so your own life
almost becomes secondary and you're there to partner with God for an eternal soul to come forth. Becoming a mom has absolutely
transformed my prayer life which then in turn has, you know woven its way into my songwriting. That song is like that,
where I'm like, Yeshua, You're my Messiah. You bought me back from darkness. room worship leaders. Because basically I'm saying, God, You can have my songs to
be touched by Your fire. I'm offering my songs, my creativity on Your altar to be consumed every day. And almost to be forgotten. They're not forgotten by God but some sets where I walk away and I'm like, I think that was, like, the best music I've ever written. And then literally the next day just get up and do it again. we wrote in a songwriting camp. So we looked at different
passages where Jesus was anointed and He was anointed by
Mary, before his death. He was anointed by God, you know, Isaiah 61 to set the captives free. And we will anoint Him with our love and our sacrifice before He returns to earth again. I love that phrase, who is to come because to me it's a worship song. Like Jesus, You've been anointed
to set the captives free and there's a lot of songs like that. But this one is like, You've been anointed by the Father to come back
and take Your rightful place. You're the King of Kings. And there really is a day
that we're waiting for, a wedding day, a day of gladness. ♪ And I can see ♪ ♪ the Spirit
