One tsp each of cumin seeds, coriander seeds, and black pepper. Cinnamon sticks, bay leaves, cardamom, and cloves. Let the water boil for 10 minutes. Remove the whole spices. Add the soaked rice. Hot peppers. Boil the rice for 10 minutes. Add half of the rice batch. Add the sauce. Add the rest of the rice. Saffron or sazon The fried onions. Half a cup of raisins (optional).
