These are excellent, I'd like to find more doc series following the chronological history of ruling dynasties around the world. The only other one I know of is David Starkey's 'Monarchy' about the British royals. It's quite interesting if you can forgive his pompous presentation, but this Romanov series is even better.

Holy damn, a documentary on YouTube in HD?? Usually the ones I see look like someone vomited pixels all over my screen.
Love these. Great pacing, reenactments aren't bad, and the graphics are beautiful. Really enjoy that this series places the rulers in a greater context including the Russian economy, military, foreign relations, etc.
