Just my opinion but the Rock's performances in WWE are far superior to anything in any movie he's done.
Fun fact, I believe Rock got "Roody Poo" from Texas wrestling great Iceman King Parsons, who Booker T also got "sucka" from
Imagine someone being this over in 2019.
Especially with all those signs that are for him too..
Once performers are confident in what they are saying and less about how to say it, then then can lsiten to the crowd and mix it up.
Contrary to popular opinion (based on less than true facts) and supported by wrestlers saying so, ANYONE can do something like this and not worry about being demoted or fired IF they do it well.
MOST wrestlers are not great speakers. Hard and cold fact. Some are good, less are great and even less are on this level.
You can take Vince's lines and hand it over to a charisma cardboard like Drew McIntyre, and he would bomb it so hard.
It's all about the delivery folks. The pauses, the inflections, the facial expressions, the highs and lows.
The prime example of someone who doesn't get it, is Dolph Ziggler. He confuses screaming and veins popping out of his face as "good promo".
