The days before Blockstream.
One of the oldest and at the same time best documentaries about bitcoin.
yes it's a great documentary! It only goes up to satoshi's comment that he's not Dorian Nakamoto (2013?).
Anyways tons of cool early bitcoin history & very much the spirit we're keeping alive with BCH!
The "I dont want to go to prison" quote from Charlie Shrem is pretty ironic now
It's really interesting to see the evolution play out. Another 2015 documentary, "Bitcoin: The End Of Money As We Know It" was followed up in 2020 with "Cryptopia: Bitcoin, Blockchains, and the Future of the Internet" (which is on Amazon Prime right now). It's amazing how much happened in those 5 years.
"So, uh, Roger, last time we talked to you there was excitement about Bitcoin's future potential as a currency, nearly free global transfers of value.... what happened?" It does a fairly good job explaining the fork, current ideologies and views for the future without proselytizing.
Notice the focus on price?
Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System
Its STILL very early...
Once the market cap of BCH passes BTC, then BCH will just be called Bitcoin, and BTC will just be called Bitcoin Core.
ahahah true, old but gold!
