and all my friends all my fans are like charlie what happened what happened what happened and i said i can't talk about it two weeks later i got a life-changing phone call our podcast low-key low-key is becoming sort of a big deal okay why are this many people here for the show i've never seen that's what i'm saying people are so people are now coming not only to watch online they're coming okay look you turn the camera around this is insane did they purchase like tickets this is this is crazy there's so many people here i swear to god we should start selling tickets we should have a gate imagine how much money we can make we just charge people to watch a show live there's more people in the crowd today than there was for success i'm not even kidding i'm not even kidding and he had his whole security detail yeah all his people with him and still there's more people here today what's up guys welcome back to impulsive the number one podcast in the world statistically and factually sort of you didn't see the uh you didn't see the the six nine bodyguards outside did you know that did you know he had like seven more danny told me afterwards that there was about 15 people in black suvs outside yeah streets yeah there was there was he had a squad of about 10 inside with him that entire night was somewhat surreal for me yeah i flew back on a plane from mexico about an hour before that show started logan hit me up and said you need to get back to the house right [ __ ] now yeah and because you got to understand like artists like that they they they're on the move especially him yeah he needs to like stay on the move he needs to stay busy and so i get the text that it's happening in a couple hours because as you both know the week before it got cancelled or something because he wasn't in the zone which we have a vlog coming out about that and how we even got him on the podcast but an absolutely magical night i think to say the the least it was a great night i mean i wasn't supposed to do that show i wasn't supposed to do that show and i've already heard you know a little bit about it but um it's something that i'm personally working on which is putting aside my feelings and opinions on on people to get programming done i can't i can't simply opt out i also cannot sit and talk [ __ ] to the guest for two hours and bomb the show we've seen me do that in the past and we've had to bury those [ __ ] shows i thought i did a decent job of asking the questions i wanted to ask while also still look i think you did a great job and i also have to take a a bit of responsibility because i made you do the show like like you guys will see in the vlog mike did not want to do this show uh and and you didn't either that's that's why you sat out but i had other stuff going on no you didn't that you know of okay but you didn't want to do the show and i made you because we do have a responsibility to provide an awesome piece of program yeah and you you you are half of the show yeah absolutely at least and i wanted to be there to to ask those questions i i think looking back at it i probably could have gone a little bit harder asked some harder questions i know there was one point in the show where we changed gears right as we were starting to go down the stairs into the street code and the snitch stuff yeah we had been on it and it took me a little bit too long to get into it but listen end of the day i maybe i lost all my imaginary street cred i'm not allowed on the block anymore because i did that [ __ ] interview good thing is i don't [ __ ] need it anymore you're not on the streets anymore mike you've evolved you've leveled up yeah but um yeah it was a good show uh reading the comments the k the kid he's articulate he's smart not a lot of people uh credit him for how intelligent he is which is why i think like at the end of the day he really is a master marketer he really is just like do you have an opinion on the show did you watch and i know you weren't here but did you watch i watched the first like five minutes but then i was busy with other things so i didn't get to watch the whole thing i got to watch the whole thing i'll watch of your episode yeah and the episode got removed the podcast got removed from youtube it's wild yeah bro so we submitted a connor uh complaint or what was it kind of kind of fun something you know i'm not a lawyer yeah we did something and uh it got reinstated the episode got reinstated we won [Applause] so it's good yeah it's uh she's she she wiley won she wildly went she didn't want that episode up man she's yeah she was upset about that yeah we were just chilling but we're all good we're all you were nice to her in the episode i don't think anything that bad was said yeah i don't know what i was she just didn't she i don't know you know i mean you got emotions involved you can't silence the boys yeah it's so hard to do we've seen it on tick-tock you can't silence the body could it have to i don't want to skip ahead it's just my my big dreams like like i wake up every morning and i want like the winning streak to continue so i dream and i dream really big so it's like there's this law called parkinson's law and it says you fill the container you're given like if you wanted to clean up your house like if you took three weeks to do it you would take three weeks if you took three hours to do it you would take three hours if you did it said i have 30 minutes you would do it so i was like you know what if i have a big notebook i'm going to dream bigger how big you writing he's like like full pages normal size man holy wow hell charlie this again i don't know if you can see this caleb but this is small writing and there are thousands of pages in this book how far have you written in this thing um i just got it maybe about nine months ago so not too far and i don't write in this one every single day i have small ones i just get from cvs but they're all magical because i i might be counter parkinson's laws because if you give me a notebook they're all just blank i got i got 15 blank notebooks they're great notebooks i've just never written anything in that if i'm trying to do better i put winning streak on my wall yeah did you see that after the last episode i put it in big letters and i look at it sometimes when i wake up in the morning your episode that you on and he was like i watch your show all the time impulsive is my favorite show but specifically the charlie rocket episode has gotten me through so many tough spots in my life let's go and i said my career he said what are you talking about i said see i'm the crazy guy who goes on and people think i'm crazy but until somebody else experiences what i experience in life i'm just a crazy guy now there's proof that it works and i said you started my career because i am not a leader until there is somebody else who proves that it works and when harry came on here and showed the tattoo i mean spend this day and it's documented that the world is about to really understand this concept that i've been living to get through all the dark times of depression and anxiety in my life to succeed and horrible year i've ever witnessed in my existence exactly how do we get back on this winning streak one one as as a planet as a people as a species and then two personally if you feel like you've been derailed i think it really starts personally so the truth is for each and every one of us we are losing there is gravity that we experience in our lives every single day where things are going wrong but the truth also is we are all winning as well but we see what we're looking at there's two frequencies you can turn to one is paranoia have you ever woke up in the morning and said oh it's going to be one of those days happened yesterday happened yesterday it was horrible it was horrible it's going to be one of those days and a lot of us we just wake up and we feel that gravity and we start saying that so as humans we always want to be right about our belief system so we look for confirmations throughout our entire life to confirm what we believe in so that we can feel right but if we wake up saying oh it's going to be one of those days we start looking for reasons that we're right so when i wake up i'm saying you know what paranoia is the universe is conspiring against me pronoia is the universe is conspiring for me there was a person who got in a car accident on september 11th they could not go into work if i get in a car accident pro noya this has got to be for a damn good reason i am so delusionally optimistic this is how i've turned my life around through depression through brain tumor through 300 pounds through social anxiety through being alone most of my life all the bad things i got tired of losing i got tired of being a loser so much that i said you know what i'm going to become so delusional about these things because every bad thing that happened in my life ended up being the most massive gift if i did not have that brain tumor would i be a nike athlete no if i was not 300 pounds would i have been on the cover of runners world magazine no so all the bad things that happened in my life because i got up from it it turned into a super power so now if something bad happens in my life i'm like blessings are coming like i think about it santa claus does not deliver presents in the light he only delivers presents when it's dark outside i love that i love you always got these little nuggets these little nuggets i love that so when it's dark i'm now starting to get excited because that's when you're learning all your lessons right every one of them and blessings come and the winning streak happens there's a couple ways we could look at it like for example i started a vlog people are like charlie i want your mindset and i uploaded my first vlog and it got 623 views in 24 hours and i was like why does it feel like nobody cares and i was like beating myself up and i'm like i'm posting it but nobody cares about my vlog i'm like why don't they care and then i had to reposition it in my mind like no this 623 is such a winning streak because this is that meme moment in the future remember that travis scott meme when he's performing in front of 30 people and then he's in front of the car i said this is a gift because now i get to have that story so i'm looking at the bad thing as the thing that will inspire people in the future because i look at my life as a movie and no movie is good without bad scenes now we're trying to win an oscar here guys like like we're trying to win an oscar and we can't win an oscar unless there's a little trial and tribulation so now i'm starting to appreciate those bad scenes so much because when i thought about that 623 i said you know what we're gonna refer back to that post and we're gonna be like oh man he made it and that's going to inspire the next kid when they want to start a vlog it's like i remember when charlie said he only had 623 and now he has hundreds of thousands or millions and they're going to be like i want to be like charlie rocket because he appreciated if somebody uploads and it gets 30 views appreciate that it's a winning streak because that's what's going to inspire everybody who is watching character arc okay it's a character arc for from from a drama do you was this a skill that you would say you had to practice to perfect i practice every day now and i actually do it as like an exercise when i wake up in the morning just like we said i go to starbucks and i get my double shot of espresso on ice with a splash of almond milk and two raw sugars how much it costs 2.45 pretty cheap and i said all that happened for two dollars i'm on a winning streak so since i started a winning streak i now feel like a winner now my frequency is a winning frequency so guess what my reticular activating system starts doing so our reticular activating system is programmable and this is something each and every one of us can do and being a winner is simply a choice so reticular activating system you go by a um a g wagon right and you start seeing it everywhere that's reticular activating system it was already already there but now you see it because you told your brain which is consuming millions of pieces of information to filter out and just show you the important stuff so what i do in the morning when i go to starbucks i say just show me the winds and i'm going to look for them and then the mind starts seeing it but then the law of attraction the universe starts taking action as well so i did my part and then the universe starts doing their part and then it starts giving me massive wins left and right but the same exact thing happens when we are focused on the losses and it's very hard to focus on wins when so much is crashing in your life but it is something you can practice every day and winning is just a choice i love that it just so sometimes it's so hard because i think humans naturally skew towards addressing and acknowledging the the negative right yeah it's seriously like we're all especially this year so focused on what's going wrong sometimes it's hard to to see what's going right and especially when you try to compound it it's it's so much easier to point and blame and then complain yes and so it's just a daily practice is what you're saying constantly trying to rewire the way you go about your day 100 and like back when i was in the music industry um ceo charlie the old me was a very negative person and people i was always a good person but it was rough being around me i was very negative i was very angry i was not this person and that's to survive the music industry with everything we dealt with like i managed artists like young dolph i mean we're getting shot at you know bankroll fresh died at my studio two chainz was in san francisco getting shot at you know like the shootings at my studio like my recording studio in atlanta was so hot that like the police would come every single day and it's like i'm on the news and my aunts and uncles are like charlie you know like they don't understand this world i live in and i had to be calloused up and i was angry and i was just always tearing people down in a negative way and so when i became charlie rocket i said you know what uh strengthened or weakened by everything that is social media how much time do you spend on social media and what is your view of it as a as a you know either a positive weapon or a destructive weapon for a society right i think social media um can be great um i chose to tap out so um a few things i did was the first thing i was unfollowed everybody and i wanted to reset my algorithm so on social media we all know what algorithms are it shows you what you like but that's no different than the universe so the law of attraction is an algorithm as well like if i were to go on instagram and like a whole bunch of negative stuff um or i like a bunch of girls with big butts i'm going to start seeing that constantly and i wanted to reset that algorithm so i started just unfollowed everybody and started over from scratch with positivity podcasts you know things like that and that's it started showing me that and then i got to a point where okay i'm following these people but you know what i don't really like consuming so much so i just followed every single person who ever showed me love so i only follow i follow like 4 000 people so now i'm not even tempted to scroll up and down anymore because it's just too much and i no longer consume i now try to consume in the universal algorithm because it's just like the social media if i like something it's going to show it to me i i don't need my eyes open to see so if i can just see those pictures that i'm scrolling through i can believe it right now and i'm looking at my life in the future and i'm living at the finish line and i'm scrolling and i'm liking and then i'm trying to see who i'm trying to be connected with and i'm sliding in those dms in the quantum field and then i all of a sudden get a crazy phone call somebody asked me the other day they said charlie how do you speed up time for those manifestations and those dreams and i said well i did something two weeks ago i've sent out a post on my instagram and i said i just got the biggest news of my life i literally just got life-changing news and nothing will ever be the same and all my friends all my fans are like charlie what happened what happened over a year ago i've been saying that to people because i'd like to consider myself a delusional optimist but i'm wondering because some sometimes i feel like i'm so far down that road at what point is it pure delusion like at what like what if you had never received that phone call mm-hmm and because now you just in that case you made something up for like you said in that if you had never received the phone call maybe not to your friends but to you it's like oh i'm the crazy guy and like even even sometimes the way i go about my life is um i like to recognize how blessed i am um and i like to stay as optimistic hopeful and positive as possible and sometimes it it people question uh how emotional i can get because i i prefer i prefer to just be happy forever right it's not how life goes but i if i can help it like my brother's house got raided by the fbi insanity my mom calls me 7 30 am chris you can imagine a sweet little pam um and and trying to stay as optimistic as possible um i didn't my reaction wasn't that of maybe what you would expect from a person whose brother's house just got raided by the fbi and my girlfriend asked me she's like aren't you doesn't this like affect you like aren't how are you not reacting to this and i i said like i i decide how much energy to put into uh life circumstance based on what the output's going to look like input output right so if my mom calls me and she says you know your brother's house got raided by the fbi and she's incredibly emotional i try to console her as best as i can but how much energy am i going to put into that situation that i'm completely out of control i'm completely out of con i'm i i'm essentially useless as a as i could call my brother sure but what happened happened and so i didn't freak out i didn't i wasn't oh my god what are we gonna do it's crazy my input was semi-low because i knew it was sort of out of my eye control and josie was a little taken aback because of how lax i was about the situation so i guess the question is at what point does the delusional optimism if ever become just straight up delusion or if it's i'll change the verbage are you just a sociopath not you charlie rocket but like one well it is delusional like it truly is delusional but what i do is i had to do a google search one time and i said how many people have lived on this earth 107 billion people have lived on this earth and all of them had massive amounts of problems and you know what i'm no different than you you we all have massive massive problems that's everybody but how we handle a situation every single thing we speak and the fact you chose not to speak because speaking is so powerful we're the only like of all the mammals and animals on this planet we can speak language yeah and abracadabra means as i speak i create that's the hebrew meaning of abracadabra and we're the only ones that can speak so what we speak even in a bad situation i have a friend over here his name is chris adams he's the ceo of dreamer his father passed away and he was he was like you i said are you okay he said i'm good i'm good and i said well i've never seen somebody be that strong and with that situation the fact that you chose to speak certain things is going to make it better it's going to make it so much better so like yes i'm a very extreme person but i am very careful what comes out of my mouth because i know how powerful it is i know how creation we were created to create and when we speak we are creating so these bad situations it's easy to go rant about it to go boom boom boom but it's a choice he's one thing what you just talked about you've kind of mastered something that's very important in my life and that's serenity obviously to me the serenity prayer is very important god grant me the serenity to accept the things i cannot change the courage to change the things i can and the wisdom to know the difference you realize very quickly that that thing was out of your control that's that's something that a lot of people if they mastered including i'm by no means a master of that or a lot of things you know but if if you can learn to understand that certain things are just outside of your wheelhouse or capability or ability to be fixed and just come to accept that you would find the inner peace that so many people struggle to find including myself you know and so it sounds to me like logan has a a grip on serenity and you certainly have a grip on serenity one of one of my favorite things that everybody always asks me about when your dreams they say when you write it and it doesn't come true what do you do i say like as a delusional optimist it's literally a carrot on a stick like the next day comes and it didn't come true oh it's gonna come true tomorrow i did this with the nike thing because i would tell all my friends i'm gonna be a nike athlete they're like whatever charlie i said oh it's gonna be easy it's gonna come true and i'll write it every day and then when it happened they're like charlie i'm not going to question you anymore and i've done a lot in 32 years because of the delusional optimist but the people around you they're not gonna understand at first but after a while they're going to label you as that crazy guy but with respect like harry's like oh the crazy guy was on the show but he knows like it's okay being the delusionally crazy guy but i'm going to get it done right and it's way more fun actually being in la la land even when the ship is sinking it's like hey guys like let's go surfing you know like it's like like on a on a door like you know it's you gotta look for it you're that analogy the carrot on a stick analogy is is awesome it's so healthy and i wanted to talk to you about uh the views that you described on your video i wanted to dive into that a little more because there are a lot of young creators not actually not even just creators everyone now in a way especially uh generation z it would be hard for them to not tie self-worth to likes to views um i got something for them yeah help help them charlie rocket okay guys i might be the least most popular person you've ever interviewed i wouldn't say i wouldn't say that and with me and my 150 000 followers and 623 youtube views i as the underdog as the person may be most relatable to the people watching who's not some big celebrity having the most impactful episode on impulsive yeah and i think this is going to be my fourth episode i'm kind of a part of because it was a hundredth episode and then there was my episode then there was harry johnson episode and then there's mine so for everybody watching if your views are small you can still outperform the people who are doing amazing and every single person who is doing amazing in life was small at one time so appreciate that small because i'll go stand on top of my tour bus and i'm touring all across america and there's 30 people in the crowd and i'm busting my butt on this tour the dream machine tour and 30 people and i'm preaching on top of my bus about dreams and i'm like i love those 30 people because that's my travis scott moment because one day there's going to be 30 000 people and i'm going to miss these days where i can talk to every single person and this is what makes me more authentic because there's 30 people because no big celebrity is ever gonna go stand on top of a bus for 30 people so this is an opportunity for me to be more authentic than everybody in the world so it's a gift the small amount of views it's a gift being small and it's good to know that you can outperform the big guys even if you're small it is possible and that's and that's when you're making actual convertible influence is at that point you know what i'm saying like there's so many big creators out there who get 20 30 million views and people are watching because 19 million 999 000 other people watched it that's the reason they're watching it yo everybody else is watching this they're not selling anything they're not making any they're not changing anybody's minds about anything they're not encouraging anybody there's so many people that operate at a small level that have such a strong grip on their audience that they are quite literally changing their lives you may have changed more lives with your 622 person youtube video then one of the biggest creators in the world changed on a multi-million viewed episode you know what i'm saying and so it's such an important thing for young creators to understand that viewership does not correlate completely with actual influence it just doesn't impact impact i learned something uh powerful from a guy named charlie rocket on youtube he was talking about how if you're trying to boil a lake right away you'd have a real hard time doing that but you know sometimes you got to start smaller and boiling little pots of water so it gets hot thank you bro so with managing celebrities my whole life um i got really good at creating fan bases and if i went out to try to boil a lake i i just don't know how to make a flame that big it's really hard um maybe elon musk can figure it out i don't know how to boil a lake but i can boil pot of water and our goal as business people and as entrepreneurs and anybody who's starting a youtube channel is an entrepreneur at the end of the day your goal is to get hot and i can get a pot of water hot and the good thing about that is when a pot of water is hot you can add more water to it and it can boil really fast and once that bigger pot of water is boiling you could add more water to it and that will boil really fast and i would do that with a side of town in atlanta for two chains i would start on the south side at this one club it would be one club and i would focus on it i'm gonna boil this club and it would be usually the strip clubs did we talk about this on the first episode so we would boil that and then we would next thing you know we would influence the entire country because we boiled a pot of water so i celebrate the 30 people i know how powerful 30 people really is and that's why i push through it where everybody else can't fight through that fire and they quit but that's what makes you know you different than everybody else you kept going i kept going because i just loved what i was doing like i didn't i didn't i really didn't care about the views that for i mean he knows we we've made videos for eight years dude the max the mat for ourselves the max was 4 000 views the mac there was there was there was one early that went like semi-variety through songs yeah that got like 50 to 100k and at the time it obviously was it was massive um it's just so it's just so hard it's just so hard to not be so connected to the numbers you know what i'm saying and what's interesting because it's dude you see growth and you're like wow i want more numbers it's a drug it's a drug it's a it's a shame it's a shame that it's it's a blessing and also a shame that we live in a world where um i just think it's gonna affect so many young people in a way that we'll everyone in this room will never be able to understand because we didn't grow up being the kid who had the least amount of likes in high school and feels invisible and that can be a very lonely place when you see the opportunity to be connected to the whole world and when nobody sees you you you feel invisible and that's tough but you know what it's it's why we need this mentality we have more than ever because we're going to make a choice of how we're going to look at that 623 we're going to make a choice and that's why i'm going to get winning streak tatted on me and that's why we're taking this movement to the world so that everybody can think about it okay how would charlie rocket think in this moment okay that's going to save their life tying this together with something that you just posted on instagram the feeling of loneliness and i found this interesting because again we're in quarantine so if you didn't feel lonely before if you felt lonely before quarantine then you were single and searching companionship of any sort i can only imagine what it's like if you haven't been able to get out of the house and meet people um you post said this it used to be real hard when girls would ignore me the worst times in my life or those nights i just wanted to have a girl like me the loneliest nights were when i would download an app like tinder and i had some hope that it could be i could be connected to someone but it made it worse because i'd opened the app and i never get a match ever man you just don't know how dark those days were 300 pounds depressed lonely i swear i wouldn't wish that on anyone man and your caption is advice to young men out there what what what would you say to the the hopeless romantic sitting in kansas named keith because i bet i bet he's out there keep here keep your head up brother it's gonna get better for you well when i leveled up i had a lot of fuel in my gas tank because of the pain when something is easy it's the shallow end of the pool there's not much water in the shallow end but in the deep end of the pool i was so deep i was so at rock bottom here that i had so much fuel inside of me ready to burn because when i wanted to take off like a rocket i needed a lot of fuel there's so many things in my life that i just started and don't keep up with because it didn't mean enough to me but that loneliness was so dark and i spent my whole life at 300 pounds up until 28 i never had a girlfriend until i was 30 years old i didn't know what it was like to allow somebody to love me and when i wanted to make the change and when i walked away from my business and i was ready i had the fuel so i appreciated those lonely nights because it made me actually be consistent and everybody knows me as somebody who's inconsistent because i want to do so many things but this one i said no no i have enough fuel to keep going for this and so once again we got to look at it as i appreciate that it was lonely i want to wish it on my worst enemy but i also know the people who are going through it when they decide to make that change they're going to stick with it because we never want to go back people don't know what it's like being overweight and this just isn't for men there's a lot of women out there too and it's probably tougher on the women who are opening these apps and that's a really really hard place to be and guys i promise you it's good on the other side like if i knew i would look like this when i lost the weight i would have done it sooner so i wish i had just visualized more that what i would look like and and also there's a there's a balance there's a balance and a mistake i made and i actually made it on this show because i kept wanting to do crazy things to get to my goal weight like i always wanted a six-pack right and i biked across america and when i crossed that finish line i didn't have a six-pack and i was disappointed to where i didn't really didn't celebrate that moment because my expectation to love myself was going to be at this finish line and it wasn't and then when i did my iron man i thought when i did an iron man i would have a six-pack but i didn't so i didn't truly celebrate and so i kept thinking of these crazier things and i said you know i'm gonna do a navy seal challenge because that's even crazier and then i realized charlie what are you doing why are you causing so much pain in your life to try to find love you're creating more pain to where you're trying to do something even crazier and then i just ask myself a simple question i say what's fun and i said you know what i love basketball why don't i wake up and play every day and when i started playing every day and i started a basketball journey instead of this painful journey and i started playing i started loving myself and now i don't care like me and my boy lankford man we're in the at the calvin klein store and there's this guy this guy with six-pack abs on the big poster i said langford i think i look better than him he said he said but girls want to lick his body i said i said i said but they want to cuddle with me facts i'm so thankful i was just about to ask this did you ever think you would see a time where where dad bods were more in than six-pack abs because i think right now at this current point in time chicks want to smoosh they want a smoosh they want to cuddle bro that's it they like the cuddles and i like when i look in the mirror now i'm like man i really love myself and it's really really an amazing place to be but it started when i just wanted to have fun and play and stop taking things so serious because when we're young what do we want to do have fun we want to play when we get older we do two things we work and we work out work work work work work i want to play play play play play so i just started playing as my workouts basketball and then the nba asked me to play in the celebrity all-star game and so i'm training for that and i'm trying to get better every day and i deal with problems because i'm on the tour and i'm handling tour and i'm handling business and i'm giving all this stuff away boom boom and i don't have time to chase my dream but i'm still being nice to myself even though i'm not progressing i'm still delusionally optimistic so was that the first step in your weight loss journey because i know when we talk about weight loss there's a lot of people who in the audience that want to hear more about it was that your first step finding fun in exercise what was the first step you took in in your journey the first step was actually getting away from all the triggers so i used to binge eat i guess yeah i remember this yeah and i was like okay if i go vegan i know i could like i can't eat at gas stations there's not even vegan food at gas stations so like okay i went vegan then i moved away from my city like i literally was so desperate for my life and this is a very extreme measure measure but you got to do something extreme because being overweight and food being an addiction like you can't get away from it so it's like i've had to do something extreme and i had to rewrite the programming in my body you have to you have to cut the temptation at the roots that's right it's it's it's so hard and i this is coming from a person who's also got an addictive personality um thankfully it's been semi-healthy like i've been addicted to video games right now i think we're all pokemon cards we all know what i'm going through uh but any time i i noticed myself going down that path and uh even this happened with with weed with weed the the the best way to do it and you went through this with your drug addiction is just to to cut it at the neck it's it's an extreme shift and it's it's not easy but the end result always ends up being worth it i don't think i've ever regretted no i've never regretted ending something that i felt was uh hindering my life you know what i'm saying and it's it's hard stopping something cold turkey and one of the things that actually was a second thing to this was that word easy because it's not easy but i actually made a shift in my programming where i said it was going to be easy because anytime i would go into a diet i'd be like oh this is going to be hard i got to focus i got to grind and then when i shifted it to i remember there was this old man and i said man i'm gonna do an iron man he said charlie i need you to set a goal that's more realistic because you're going to disappoint yourself i'm going to say what you talking about old man i said it's going to be easy it's going to be and he's looking at me based off data he's given right he's looking at a 300 pound man and i'm like no it's going to be easy and it's just like it's like what you asked for think about it like this like when you go to a restaurant what you order is what you're gonna eat and in life it's the same exact way the universe is always taking the order so what you order is what you're gonna eat when i order this is gonna be hard i get hard when i order it's going to be easy i can now come on a podcast and be like oh i did iron man in 10 months it's like magnitude law of magnetism yeah you attract whatever you put out there what what else do you use so i think you know we all have come to love your mentality and the way you think about things and that's i think your your engine for your success and for your personality what do you use uh methodically or or in practice to grease that engine do you do breathing exercises do you do yoga do you now i know you love to play basketball i think exercise and cardio is a huge aid to a positive mental state but what other things do you do to grease the wheels or grease the engine it was it was a real challenge to learn how to meditate and do yoga um i didn't identify like with yoga like i'm like oh that's weird or like that's girl you know like girls do that but then i got to a point where i started experiencing a little magic from it and it took me a couple years to actually get in the habit but like this morning like it was a big day coming on here i woke up 6 a.m i went to starbucks got my winning streak then i i did a little yoga um and for me yoga is not like what you see at yoga class to me that's gymnastics like i can't do all that gymnastics stuff like what i can do is like ymca old man yoga like to me it's just all about the feeling though like i'm stretching my body and breathing at the same time and i make it simple i make it easy i can't do handstands and i can't do all this crazy stuff that stuff intimidated me so everybody watching if you want to do yoga like you don't have to be intimidated by all that gymnastics class stretching and breathing stretching and breathing vibing yeah i put on a little vibe what do you listen to i listen to moses code by wayne dyer um i look it up on youtube minute seven the song starts it's two 20-minute segments the first 20-minute segment i stretch and do my yoga thing second 20-minute segment i meditate i log into that instagram i'm looking into the future i'm living at the finish line then when i'm done i pull out my quantum possibilities notebook write everything i saw from the future and then she got a whole system a whole system ev every morning every morning yep what about what what about i wanted to stick out music for a hot second too and i want to ask you about maybe the last guest that we had on our show really quick do you have thoughts on on uh on six nine or the current state of hip hop i hope he'll be okay i hope he'll be okay um i would have loved to see him come out of jail as like um like he's really great at owning identities i think he's smart i think he's so great he's a wwe wrestler at the end of the day yeah he could have took two pass um the path he started with he decided to stay on but he could have gone the exact opposite path with the same amount of extreme we had this conversation we did we talked about it and we found it interesting and he plans on going down the other path that's some we don't know when that's what he says anyways uh but it is crazy because he is smart he's so smart i asked him specifically i said when you got out you got another chance at life why did you decide to go straight to the south side of chicago and start disrespecting the memorials of people who have died or or telling every rapper to suck your dick and he said because that's who i am and if you don't like it suck my dick which which is what he has said since day one and is there nobility in in claim and literally just claiming who you are and and sticking to that through and through you know what i pray for i just i really i really think i think most of the people who have probably met him i haven't met him they're like oh that's a smart kid but i'm just i just hope it'll be okay um there's a lot we could actually learn from them when we like stop realizing like there's like there's a lot we can learn from him on mistakes and the good things he's actually good at but i mean just go vegan stop beefing bro just go vegan just like meditate one day see how it feels and so something just switching gears for a second just hitting back of what you're saying before and and talking about uh your journey um i've i've noticed i found the sensational amount of fulfillment when i undergo a project when i have a journey to look forward to that i think is fun finish lines are great they keep you going goals being goal oriented like it just it fuels you excuse me if somebody were to ask me to uh start running and my goal was to like wake up and run every day to me that's hard like oh do a marathon oh there's a finish line there's a picture there's a middle like there's a date yeah like i magically get way more done when there's that then like oh just wake up and like do a little something every day like that's hard to me so what you're talking about 100 having a project something something where you can look look at the finish line and truly visualize it exactly i wonder if there's even like a business and being able to someone could probably do this like an artist pay attention folks here's a business idea someone could make a business where uh anyone writes in what their goals are what their dream is and an artist sketches them having accomplished that goal hand raising the top of the wrestling podium public speaking in front of thirty thousand people that's correct uh getting your million subscriber plaque on youtube almost like a almost like a a visual representation of what your quantum book is how cool how cool would that be it's amazing how cool would that be wow if i could i need to see what i look like doing like a motivational speaking for a stadium you have to draw that someone will draw that's so easy can i set that up as a business i would love for that how awesome is that i have a company called dreamer that i've been working on for years and it's an app to connect people with their dreams when you share the same dream with somebody there's a bond unlike anything else yeah yeah and for remember how we talk about that abracadabra when you speak and what do what do most people say oh and i believe the devil made this phrase up and it's taught to us as kids don't tell anybody you're going to jinx it i swear that's devil talk what do i have when i have a dream i declare that dream and i tell everybody and then the magic starts flowing in a magical way and in a literal way because when you meet somebody who has the same dream as you there's a bond unlike anything else and when you're honest and you're vulnerable about the stuff that you're struggling with people are like i'm a help but if you never spoke so that's why i created dreamer dreamer the dream yes what you just said about people being scared to jinx uh and that you know uh makes them reluctant to manifest i can relate to that a lot i i've i've had so many times where i knew before walking on stage before putting out a new piece of work i should be visualizing a success and i've always been very scared to do that it creates a fear inside of me that i am well because now there's an expectation right and if you fall short that's scary right or that is also to to his point i've always felt you know that uh you're gonna jinx it you're gonna jinx it or like or like you know i you know i'll get vulnerable for a second i've always had an issue in my life uh where i feel that people are innately against me it's it's a thing i've struggled with since i was a kid it's a self you know taoist it's a it's an issue that i have to continue to work on and so sometimes i feel like when i speak something out about something that i really hope is going to happen people are going to know that that's what i'm trying to do and they're going to start to work against me it's a terrible [ __ ] attitude it's a you know it's a part of a mental illness you know but and i'm i'm speaking about it today but sometimes i feel like that like yo if i start talking about something that i want to do somebody an enemy somebody out there that doesn't like me might start working against me you know what i'm saying so there's this there's this book that my friend chris who's here chris adams he's the ceo of dreamer he told gave me this book that was written by a russian scientist named vadim zealand and it's called reality tran surfing and you got to actually appreciate that and y'all both know this when somebody starts working against you there's this concept called pendulums and this is how life works it's like donald trump or kanye west right when somebody dislikes it they're actually feeding the pendulum that is the only way to break a pendulum is to ignore somebody but when somebody is feeding your pendulum it's actually creating all this stuff in the universe that's helping you even though it's against you right so you should celebrate it it's like you're feeding me the energy like i do this thing um every on my tour where every uh city we go to we do a opening ceremony we all write our dreams and we put them in these balloons and we send our dreams up into the universe right and then the balloon mafia comes attacking right and they're like oh like you're killing the planet and i'm like these are biodegradable they're like biodegradable balloons take six months to biodegrade and i'm like banana peels take two years leave me alone but i told chris i was like chris i like that they're attacking it because i know how the universe works they're feeding my pendulum and it's like a celebration moment it's like it doesn't bother me i'm actually i know how it works so it's like bring it on balloon mafia bring it on no presses bad press the law of attraction here's no negatives right right right so any time someone says no you can't get on stage and have a successful performance that's when you go on and have an awesome performance we look at it or at least i look at it the same way as as you do you call it a pendulum we sometimes call it a tennis match if somebody hits you a ball of negativity whether it be they don't like something you did or you're gonna fail the only way that could possibly come to fruition or that that conversation you keep going is if you hit the ball back if you let that ball just keep going and you that negative comment goes right past you and ends up over there game stops don't play don't play the game don't play all the negative comments the only time the negative comments really affect me or any kind of person working against me affects me is when i have a conversation with that person when i do not get affected by negativity of others the game stops and the real game starts which is winning exactly 100 there's a level of like enlightenment that that comes with that like really truly being able to tune everyone out when you need to i learned it from two chains i wish i knew that he was a master like a guru master so smart dude i didn't like i worked with him for 10 years and i i i didn't realize he was such a master sensei until i went around the world and learned from master senseis and all the stuff that they talk about or stuff that he does and i'm like oh i wish i asked more questions because to me he was an artist i worked with and managed but oh my god i would sit there and watch him scroll past and never be affected i would never see him get into any drama not one beef and even though things would ear he's human but he was so and it's like it's like man i wish people only knew how special like that man was does he have master's degrees like he's like uh he's like a smart dude like he has a first degree um in psychology right he did graduate yeah he's i've always heard from people that have been around him that he is like very well spoken very smart we we obviously saw the news remember when he did the news show where he battled the what was it nancy grayson was it on marijuana is that what the conversation was about what was a uh what was a guru moment that you remember with him oh my god any come to mind everything man like artists artists are like this artists are artists are like seriously magical people most artists i meet have have tidbits of of wisdom that you can it's almost contagious like just being in their presence you can you can feel it the ones that last are the true magical it's like you like you're so quantum bro is jerry you're saying that no i swear to god you know me i wake up at noon i drink a coffee going apart guys so you're exact day was when i was getting this tattoo and i was just like no way i was like a year later an exact year later i met this guy that's crazy it changed my life and it's like we wrote down everything um we only order grandes now from starbucks nice nice that's the biggest one no that's just it's not like yeah it's backwards because yeah they would you'd presume it's but yeah i get it crazy but that was crazy and it was so fun to watch harry look in harry's notebook and to see all the things he wrote a year before and how he explained it because he does it different than me he's like oh i wrote it and i like let it go and that's actually like super quantum because it's like when you kind of just let it go it like manifests quicker but just look at his notebook and to see all those things come true and then to see the magic that was inserted in it all like the day because he wrote in his notebook i want to meet charlie rocket and the day he met me was exactly a day to the year a year to the day that he got the tattoo and he dm'd it to me it's crazy that's crazy it was crazy to see him show us that on this show as a result of this show you know like i told him he was the first person that i've seen like firsthand witnessed it come true and now like you said you got a bit of a case study there's it's proven yeah it's proof of his episode how many times you gotta moment of regret maybe not because yours is so strong yeah not that right maybe i'm talking because i put a squirtle next to my penis when i looked in the mirror i said i hope my wife like is okay with this he's a pokemon fan i hope my wife is a pokemon when he walked into the tattoo appointment charlie he walked in with people saying i got tattoos and that [ __ ] hurt and he he heard from all these people that hurt this hurts and in his mind he was like this hurts this hurts oh but you want to know what i know it's going to it's going to feel like for you easy easy easy you ain't going to feel nothing that's yours right i'm getting mine in white ink as well i like that one it's really cool your positioning is also cool as well on the hand all right russ get on in here brother all right quantum yeah because if we're talking about my tour i sold spencer my dream machine oh my god i'm remembering all this spencer spencer spencer bought the bus that you had went on tour with and then and then he did his uh student student loan exactly that destroyer so if you talk about bad situations that you got to turn into good situations so i saw the bus dispenser and the truth is buses break a lot like you're telling me i've been trying to get rid of the cool bus that ugly boo blue bus sitting out front for so long but the wheels fell off the battery doesn't start right the electricity's f like old buses are so hard to maintain old anything in general like i love a good you know car from the 1950s 1960s and 70s but they're so hard to maintain next to impossible so i sold them the bus and it started breaking a lot and i felt bad for him but you know i gave him payment plans and he was like charlie like it's breaking a lot and i'm sitting there thinking like this is a crappy situation because it's like i sold it to you like if it's broken you should just fix it like that's what you do when you buy stuff so he was like i'm not gonna fix it he left it in michigan he just like left it and i'm like i sold my bus i'm not getting my money and it's just a bad situation but i said you know what something good is going to come and i let it just sit there in michigan for like four months covet hit so we're talking about bad on bad on bad but all these bad situations led to a genius idea people are hurting people need help i'ma start the dream machine tour again i'm so glad that he stopped by paying for the bus it was the best situation ever wait are you using that bus again now for the dream is it breaking it breaks every day and i fix it every day and i have a superhero name and this is the thing anytime can you go ahead and start all right yep so when a superhero he's never is created for any bad thing in my life so when the buzz breaks down every day and it cost me you know 30 thousand dollars to fix it over the past couple months every day every day a day oh god we're about to get it don't think about that's gonna be easy take a breath keep keep going with the story i like the i like the bus though the bus is great you're doing a lot everybody writes their dreams on it we tour all over america that's awesome is it here no it's on the way to milwaukee because i flew here uh for this do you feel important do you feel partly responsible that uh the student debt was not killed as a result of you giving spencer shitty boss oh god oh god what do i do no look at me okay are we okay are we okay we're the first triathlon you did first day of the rest of your life you remember you're starting the race right now okay easy easy easy oh that's your first swim okay so bad situation i think it's bad but i'm trying to be like logan and not stress because i know something good will come from it and if you just give it enough time you'll be able to find the blessing so covet hits boom i'm like i have a bus i sent somebody to michigan go drive it back wrapped it again in the dream machine and then just magic has been flowing ever since and we launched a tour in a pandemic when the entire world stopped touring i said you know what my crazy ass is going to go on tour right now and help as many people as i can do you have uh social distancing guidelines in place like are you are the the people on your tour standing 36 feet apart we do the best we can but you know what when there's all that love and there's no fear like you know it's yeah a lot of a lot of a lot of people have that yeah mentality especially now we're you know 75 of the way through it's getting exciting it's getting a little harder and harder to keep ignoring thy neighbor for me anyway i mean for a lot of young people i think especially because there's been a lack of uh lack of clarity maybe because of just ignorance maybe because of unknowing how you doing you're all right yes you're breathing it's a breeze you you said something that i uh i employ a lot i think it's a major key in my life uh oftentimes i'll pau if if something bad happens anything that i'm not used to uh i will pause my knee-jerk reaction espec especially if it's negative [ __ ] i wish i hadn't happened or uh oh no what are we gonna do right i just lost so much money i made a bad investment that sucks i'm gonna i'm gonna be broke pause your knee-jerk reaction mm-hmm weigh the situation it's my it's my input output uh strategy or theory rather just like how before i react emotionally i'll try my best to gauge the situation to decide the best way to proceed saves me saves me from a lot of stress i noticed you have not once broken eye contact you're comfortable you're in a safe spot i'm trying to focus but you don't want to know what i was just thinking about and it's like the kids watching they know you're a guru they won't say a guru the word guru because because i'm young wait your i think that's your thing i think that's your gift it's your it's your ability to make people really think they can even though the odds may have been stacked against them like you've said a like and then i go home and i turn on espn and i'm watching lebron james on espn and that little angel flew in and said oh you know you're gonna be in a commercial with him one day and be like how like all these things that i was just fans of lil wayne lebron james serena williams nike winning grammys winning emmys having a super bowl commercial i'm just the chubby kid from chamblee georgia who had big crazy dreams and so i think god put me here to explain to people how possible it is to just be regular and have every single thing you want not anything but it's not like you know how they say um anything is possible i never say anything i say everything is possible then i switched it to every dream is possible because i mean look at this guy right here a year ago he's writing in his notebook depressed sad in bali and his life look at it now you don't see inspiration in that bro everything is possible and we went on a we went on a hike together up a mountain and wrote in our quantum possibilities notebook two young men dreaming together like that doesn't happen you know but that needs to happen more i want to do that on the road like i think we can make another winning streak and you're giving those shoes away what if i gave away a trip to come on the dream machine tour for a couple days and i have a day like we do with harry where we go dream together and i'm able to work with somebody one-on-one let's give that away gotta love giveaways everybody loves a good giveaway i like i love how you two have continued to foster your relationship that's super cool yeah that's awesome have you have you uh done any other uh sort of quantum manifestation projecting i have a whiteboard on the back of my door okay and i write like my main big goals before 2021 so i want to make sure that i see them every day even though even though i'm not reading them or whatever because what i used to do is as i'd write it write stuff down even my book like they're my main goals for the next six to five years or six months to five years but the the short term ones i want to make sure that i see them every day i have a millionaire on the back of my phone as my background it's just like one word i just like who knows like it just keeps that in the back your head keeps you just thinking or subconsciously thinking about it and it just keeps that that quantum mentality going so you're still doing it which is awesome which is awesome charlie do you any uh any merit in the idea that less is more like when i typically when i do my uh my manifestation it if i write a lot it's usually saying all the same thing does that make sense like less is more i have one goal one that i'm gonna i'm just gonna dive into and the rest of this stuff kind of just happens yeah my goals are also a bit more macro like a and a bit more vague which i don't know if it's good or bad but like when i was looking at your little hogwarts book the not little the massive hogwarts book the wizard book which by the way i think i need one you you wrote so much in there at what point have you just written every possible outcome that that could have ever happened in life don't you dare talk to jackson like that don't you dare i can't tell if you're cringing at what i just said or the tattoo that that that's about hers huh it hurts a little more okay so um so sometimes it's very simple sometimes it'll be the background of the phone and just one pure focus one simple thing but i have different methods to how i like to manifest sometimes they'll be i'll call it a domino effect where i'll say okay this is what i want but when this happens and this is going to happen and then when this is and i'm able to like walk to the finish line of my dream so i'll do it right now i'll be like uh on logan paul's podcast like 10 000 people are gonna get a tattoo and then somebody out there's gonna create a starbucks challenge and then starbucks is gonna be like oh we love this winning streak thing and they're gonna be like oh my god i want you to distribute your book called winning streak in our starbucks and then the starbucks book is the best-selling book of all time and now ten thousand ten million ten hundred million people are now going to starbucks screaming winning streak and i'm one of the biggest motivators in the world why do people go to starbucks to get motivated and i wrote a motivational book where people start their day in starbucks and i just did this domino effect from this moment you just got a sponsorship from starbucks that's a goal that's a hundred percent i'm actually not gonna call you crazy like to me especially knowing you that doesn't seem so far out of out of reach like you could definitely i was going to ask you halfway through the episode uh you're writing a book i've written two remember we talked about one what what do they call it so the first one is life and death the ceo charlie but i have not put it out okay um publishers don't think i'm famous enough you don't need them for an autobiography you don't need them i need to talk to you let's talk you don't need them number three globally in the whole [ __ ] world above tsunami hasn't even come yet like economically people are struggling and it's probably going to get a little bit worse so there's this lady she works at starbucks she has two jobs she has a seven-year-old daughter who lives in long beach she lives in north hollywood but she can't see her because she rides her bike so it's very hard for her to go see her daughter she's at starbucks right now yesterday we bought her a car brand new honda civic and we're going to go straight from here to starbucks and her manager is going to tell her to take out the trash and we're going to pop out of the dumpster [Music] and the car is going to pull up with a bow on it with a bow and balloons and stuff and we're going to tell her that she's on a winning streak because she wins employee of the month every month and she has a fan base people love her she hands she gives so many people happiness every day but life has hit and we got to restore faith that there are good people out there because all we see right now is negative and hostility and we've got the attention of the world so we can show people that there's good people who have dreams who help people and that's what we're
