The Reality Of Dating A German Girl

[Music] I am an American and my girlfriend Laura is German now when people grow up over 5 000 miles away from each other they're bound to have some little differences here and there in this video I'm going to give you an inside look on what it's like to date a German girl and near the end of the video my friend Cody will talk about his experience being married to one uh the reality is Laura's driving up right now so I'm just gonna read for a little bit and wait for her to get up here and then we're gonna do some stuff [Music] pretty good coffin [Music] there she is the German is here sailboles I fell down carrying the other the big plant up the stairs and I thought I was gonna shatter one over here oh yeah I don't want to put next to the big one nice we need to buy um yeah yeah I know oh yeah look at that oh that looks great uh Laura says I'm not allowed to water the plants because the last little plant that she gave me I watered it too much and it drowned so she Waters the plants every time she comes up he was a little too excited for the plants and then he drowned them that's why I get these cactus plants now and I'm in charge of these because you don't have to water them so I know don't give them any water that's all I get finger two years ago I made a video talking about Germans and PDA means public displays of a fish my point was that Germans are much more comfortable with PDA than Americans now while I am nowhere near the astonishing German level I am now more comfortable and will be seen from time to time holding my girlfriend's hand in public but we don't overdo it we're too many people outside around us you already exceeded your your hand-holding quota for the week Laura's a big reader and since we've been dating I've been reading a lot more I initially thought that this was a German influence I thought I did a little digging and turns out on average Germans and Americans read the exact same amount ha take that Germany I bet you thought you were smarter than us so either this is just a Laura influence or she helped bring me up to an average level of reading either way I like it foreign also helps me stick to plans a very German though I'm terrified of heights if I get to 100 000 subscribers someday I will climb this tree and I'll film it so having a German girlfriend around that solidifies your plans is pretty great I think reality is everything is just going to be crazy organized you're going to follow every rule you're going to do things out supposed to be done I let you know my water broke can I put that in she did we were at a red light I made him turn on the what is this yeah this is hazard lights I know Germans are the worst criminals on the planet hey attract attention to yourself as you're breaking the law so I'm gonna run this red light will you turn the hazards on though so everybody sees you doing it nothing's wrong like this ladies about it you buy a house we're renovating you know you're here for 10 hours just full working away you know thinking like man this room's actually looking pretty good the next day show up walk in the room and you're like so excited it's like what's wrong with that that
