The Real Reasons Why Everyone Hates RE0

ah okay all right I'm done being a puppet okay guys we're playing on hard mode we're doing an re zero story run I'm gonna try and do a story Marathon today of as many Resident Evils as I could stomach probably eight to ten hours worth western town in America we'll see what happens a solitary Island far off in the sea Rockford Island an island that would become the second Raccoon City China Island there are still many unanswered questions about these seemingly unrelated yet intensely traumatic events though it is believed that the international Enterprise umbrella was somehow involved little is known as to the origin of this faceless Corporation when was it established by whom and how was the t-virus created to uncover the truth we must delve deeper into the events which transpired in the beginning before the Mansion incident we know that okay who knows what the Mansion instant one's in the chat there we go do you think we should hold off for a while God Capcom is lots of special crack when they come up with this laughs [Music] [Applause] that's cool the parts sort of makes no sense because he's like it shows his mouth like doing opera singing but where the hell is the music coming from nothing in our training could ever have prepared us for the nightmare that ensued the best dead by daylight character right there failure emergency landing emergency landing all right hell yeah by the way when I said story Marathon I meant I'm gonna let the cutscenes play that's about it or else it'd be too long everyone to look for all the notes and stuff like I'd get through like two games check the current position and investigate the surrounding area well unless you guys want to see just re zero and remake then I can get all the notes and stuff but if you want to see Zero remake two three and Veronica possibly sandwich what happened thank you mamish court order okay so prisoner is to be prisoner July 22nd prisoners to be transferred to the regathon base for execution those poor soldiers they were good men just doing their jobs and that's because this guy gets to have escaped all right everyone keep your guard up you're allowed to stream at it so you can't stream in certain his Commander was like Billy you suck at jungle and he said what'd you say and he pulled out his AK and the rest is history okay so it's for a story Marathon we have to do something oh my God the controls in this game are atrociously bad for a review playthrough um so story marathon it's only appropriate we do cheerleader Jared for Capcom because they're playing a bunch of Capcom games today so we got a cheer for Capcom uh right off the bat let me tell you guys about Aries here you know what it's a story Marathon but I'm also going to tell you a bit about why people like and dislike the game first off options all right Resident Evil remake controls is I think I think in the American version It's X to run Square for Action Circle for menu and triangle for map all right so X for menu nope uh X for map nope extra menu nope X for menu no okay attack two attacks reload B map y and right trigger for menu you guys understand how [ __ ] bad this is do you guys understand the disconnect of how bad this is you have two residual Games come out in the same year the same year on the same console and you don't offer the same controls they're a b c d and e and none of them are remake controls and also at the same time none of them are classic Resident Evil controls and I know what you're gonna [ __ ] say oh well there's more controls in this game because Resident Evil Zero yeah well there's dead buttons that do nothing in re one remake and guess what they assign those to the re-0 buttons right off the bat that is bad that is straight bad you go for playing remake which came out earlier in the year to this and the controls are completely different and you can't make them the same it sucks it's objectively bad and it's a disconnect between the developer and the player it's like they never even played the game oops oh we're gonna be doing that a lot by the way I hate yeah I do hate it I mean why why would you like it this is Officer Chambers from Stars Bravo please I know you have love for dbd and I was wondering if you'd be interested uh it's on hard mode by the way what just happened I thought they were dead so um I'm a north thank you for the five dollars that sounds really cool I don't know if I'd read it on stream but I would definitely take a peek out if you link it to me thank you for the five dollar Enos and thank you bionic for the eight months uh one other thing about re zero one thing that I really like is the um so some people were saying a Chad after I talked about the controls oh just use a program the devs God the developers should make the game good not some random unpaid person doing like God's work you know it's it's not like you can't defend the game like just download a mod and fix the bad game no no about make a good game instead anyway it doesn't make it a bad game I'm just saying there's no defending the bad controls like no one no intelligent person I'm sorry to go so long with this but I find it very strange that people are against me on this no one no good Dev is gonna make a bunch of sequels to their game that have the exact same gameplay and change up the controls entirely for every Sequel and force the player to pick from 10 different control schemes and none of them are the same as the last iteration of the game that is [ __ ] ridiculously stupid it is objectively bad it shouldn't be in any game or any sequel no argument regardless thank you Agro for the 20 months what I was gonna say that's good about this game I'm done with that topic the um they pre-render backgrounds and re-0 are the best in the franchise the graphics in our zero remaster are the best in the front or best in the classic series now it's the last game to command the Classic Series so it should be that way but they're stunning like like part of me would rather this in like re2 remake you know what I mean there's that's just so pleasant to look at it's like an artist went through almost every camera angle and made it perfect like some of the environments in this game just look fantastic yeah we're not even going to make it by already zero at this point I'm not even gonna talk about the story Billy Lieutenant come on nice dirt stash bro you seem to know me ant sizing about me okay that's not a way to get an intro Billy answer for execution you are with those soldiers outside ours I see you're with stars well no offense about the quality of the game everyone if hey if you're gone this long and don't know [ __ ] about re zero sure but a lot of people don't understand why people dislike or like this game and I can explain a hundred percent of why people that far both sides zombies look incredible in re Zero by the way it looks so cool wow don't bite me I like when you knock down a zombie in zero you can get him one last time as they're falling like a storm Fighter for the two months next time I save it I should all Tab and put on door skip because it will literally make her play through like two times longer Evil Zero so it explains everything hello well Village changed that slightly but um so but okay here's another dislike about this this or here's another like weird thing about re zero and one remake this guy might actually get me never mind um in re zero in the classics other than re3 with Jill I'd say Rebecca fights the most insane monsters okay thank you like Rebecca goes to the most [ __ ] of any Stars character arguably but in Resident Evil one remake it's like she's never even seen a guy with a gun like the consistency is not there and it just leaves a sour taste here with after playing this game you see the disrespect that Capcom gave it with Rebecca it's gonna be dangerous from here on in why don't we cooperate cooperate with you listen little girl if you haven't noticed there's some pretty freaked out things on this train and I for one want to get out of here I don't think we stand a chance doing it alone you expect me to trust you a wanted felon I don't need your help I can don't you go and try while I wait here let's see this sets up the character development that Rebecca slowly goes through in the course of the game to make her a [ __ ] badass and then resil remake shits on all of it by making her that little scared little girl again because it's like these games zero and remake come out in the same year the same year and remake is just like yeah Rebecca's back to being like screw it all zero doesn't matter even though we created it for some reason like say what you will with people hating re-zero Capcom hates it the most of anyone Jesus Christ um excuse me the cutscene Billy goes that way but in the to beat the game the fastest you actually switch where they're going I'll go check over there okay there's astronaut a good villain I think that's not school people just like people do speaking of respect people will just [ __ ] on anything in re6 because it's nre6 this is because it's in re6 doesn't mean it's absolutely worthless I think us Knox really cool but guess why I think he's cool because it's just basically nemesis so obviously I think he's cool I don't know how that makes sense but there the train key all right so now we send the train key up to Billy with the service lift so already in this game the the like the tough puzzle starts so this is the first re game where you have to switch between characters on the fly to do certain puzzles and already it's like okay so we have to the game is teaching you right now you are going to be doing this a lot you are going to be using one character to give another character an item constantly this is usually the part where new players get a little skeptical if they want to keep playing or not because it's like oh [ __ ] wait do I have to go to switch to Billy like it seems like an elephant of a task to just be like switched to another character and then um I mean if it was illegal to use they would have they would have taken it of the game but I understand they can't use it anymore is that actually but that's not actually a fact unless you're saying use is in in the future of the franchise I gotta save it to do door skip thank you Mark thank you saviathan thank you storm fighter crazy man I think you care luck for the seven any zombies um I gotta change Billy's costume yeah Rebecca has like 20 costumes Billy has what four I picked the worst one thank you 3 because I'm playing those later in the week because they just got huge new um graphic updates from modders so I'm gonna be doing those mods all right I could put on door skip would you guys rather that [Music] [Music] dude everyone hate nandoor L it's just because this is a marathon and and legitimately like doors in this game zero when people play through residential remake casually and let's say the game takes them eight hours two to three of those hours are doors thank you for the 11 months smokey oh nice so that's awesome dude that that is incredible that is really really cool because a lot of people think I'm just talking [ __ ] I'm just trying to sell hellofresh which I am trying to get people interested in the product obviously I'm sponsored but at the same time if you actually take what I say dead serious you it does help you learn how to cook and most people on Earth will end up in a relationship one day and in that relationship it'll be a lot easier to uh be happy when both of you can cook imagine being in a relationship with someone just imagine this for a second imagine being in a relationship with someone that can't cook at all that'd be [ __ ] okay well actually I'm actually putting a little more thought into that and since I know how to cook every relationship I've been in no one cooks for me because well it's never for me because I went to culinary so people are just afraid to cook for me but that's not fair it sucks it sucks ass I wish people would cook for me but imagine if neither of you can cook it'd be [ __ ] brutal so brutal another red herb oh yeah the elephant guns in here foreign oh well that'll end up wait wait oh my God belly Jesus I'm like spamming the action about dude is this not close enough oh my God you gotta be like right in there well technically you have 12 inventory slots which share between two people so we'll get those items when the train crashes watch me die to this boss now range controls don't work too well sometimes rate this boss oh the controls thank you foreign [Music] but it was working the whole time you're watching me probably thinking like dude what are you doing you're sitting the air yeah well probably the easiest way to kill the boss with the knife surprisingly hey I don't have another inventory slot whatever let's just get rid of the knife that's all you that's all I use the knife for in the entire game like after you kill him you do not need the knife anymore the knife is hot garbage in this game oh [ __ ] I also need this [Music] I shouldn't have taken the hunting rifle honestly it's garbage I laughed because I didn't expect that to work because sometimes it doesn't oh no I need the pistol because the next part with the dogs wait there is shotgun ammo in there but yes here is another bad part about the game I was well I'll just mention it later when it really matters so so far this game is pretty awesome like like I mentioned with the controls at first but the pre-render backgrounds and the graphics are really nice to look at the inventory space is intimidating um but it's not too bad right now by the way I think I'm I think for me I think re-0 is slightly better than people give it credit for so I'm not it may seem like I'm in the audience that hates this game but I'm I'm not foreign we're about to get crunched here Billy turn down here here is where nice Graham I hope you enjoy so we're gonna mix that with that with the suitcase so we're about to get the hook shot all right guys if you've watched my review marathon before you're about to hear a lot of the same [ __ ] you already heard in my opinion when they remastered this game they should have made hook shot an item that just goes on your belt like a personal item and been done with it but this is the problem this is this is the I think this is the major problem with the game that it and people might not think they might not think that it even matters and a lot of people in the chat are probably like what's he talk with hook shot's fine carrying this around the entire game and and figuring out places to leave it it ruins the flow of the whole game the fact that it's a two slot item that you have to carry around for a new plan for a fresh new player you think you have to carry this to every new location but in reality you don't need it past two-thirds in the game so you just drop it right when you get to the lab and you never need it again but the fact that this takes up two slots and as well as the shotgun and the grenade launcher Etc taking up two slots it's Overkill it makes it they deleted the the um item boxes to make the game more convenient so you could drop items but if you could drop items and use the item box it'd be way too easy like it wouldn't even be survival horror anymore it'd be really really easy um but it just didn't pan out correctly and I think the hook shot is a major reason for that a major reason foreign actually wait I'll go check over there yeah if this was just personal and you you shot it at any time that'd be sick now this is a cool shot look at that Zombie's mouth like this is a sick shot it really shows off the graphics for the zombies in this game it looks great foreign I don't think it makes it more challenging I think it makes it more annoying like there's no challenge in like the the whole point to re games is like you go to your item box like all right should I take this key Adam do I okay I'm about to go I'm in I'm playing Raziel remake I'm about to go outside of the Mansion I know I seen that you go outside should I bring the crank should I bring a key I probably won't need any more I probably won't need the Mansion keys I'll just leave them in my box you know things like that you have to think about in rezero it's like okay I'm going into room do I need the hook shot okay I'm going to the Next Room do I need the hook shot do I constantly do I need the hook shot and the biggest problem is you don't need it for a whole portion of the game but the player never knows that until the end so you're literally going to the last boss carrying the hook shot and it's like sick it's terrible it's a terrible design there's no like I don't think there's any defending this I think it's like the objectively an objective reason to why the game is more poor quality to the other games I think without the hook shot dropping items may not have been as annoying but the very fact that you have to realize if you oh God this is well hey I guess we're doing the story playthrough and the review play through whatever so this is the perfect time to talk about it uh trying to get the cogswing the re-0 is a game that everyone plays differently okay now you played the game and oh the hook shot was the problem I just dropped it in the lobby same here and I just went out with my business and if I ever needed it I went back to the lobby grabbed it and used it for whatever the [ __ ] I ran into but you have to understand the average player is just going to carry it because it's a key item and an average play average re players carry too many key items and they they like they go to their box they have a bunch of heels a bunch of ammo all the key items they have and maybe one inventory spot for something that they find and they find that one thing they go back to the Box they drop it off because it's too scared to not to not have all the ammo and all the appealing items and that's almost casual replays are watch what our referring it comes to that guarantee people make the same problem just like Karen wrote too much [ __ ] a little different at every four but you know what I mean anyways they have all these players carrying around the hook shot the whole game being like Oh I don't have any inventory space Oh my God and then they realized by the end of the game oh I've I had to use the hook shot three times three times I've been carrying this around the whole game it's terrible uh-oh but here I digress okay there is an actual main problem with the game that revolves around the hook shot there is and we'll come up to it later but just remind me after the bat boss that is where the hook shot really turns into the objectively worst item in the game and and it objectively makes the game terrible there's no argument just remind me and I will explain it perfectly and everyone with a brain will be yeah he's right actually oops follow me okay okay yo Ford I guess we could just save it for funds I mean I'll explain that makes me come off like a [ __ ] [ __ ] douchebag I'll explain it briefly there's a section after the bad boss that you have to choose a player to send up all right so you either send up Billy or Rebecca the game doesn't give you a hint or tell you who you should send up the player just picks a 50 50 chance and this is what I meant earlier by it depends everyone's playthrough is different to very zero if you send Billy up and that 50 50 chance that you there's no knowledge there's no prior knowledge to tell you who to send it's literally a 50 50. and if you're sitting there trying to be like I like this game you more than [ __ ] likely sent Rebecca up if you send Billy up it makes the game far harder you have to go back to the mansion and look around unless you have a really good memory look around every single room which now they're all littered with powerful enemies you have little to no ammo and healing items at this point if if you've been having like a trouble with the game and it sucks it [ __ ] sucks I have been there and it blows like it is not fun in any way shape or form and then if you send Rebecca up you saw it takes 10 minutes 10 minutes you're done it's like it's so bad it's so bad and that problem happened because the hook shot is in the game [Music] so and that's why re-zero is so hard to talk about as well too and I wish this was public not public knowledge so I'm gonna say it all the times I can about arizir because constantly people like all right zero is a bad game and then they'll struggle to come up with they'll just say whatever like oh the environments are bad I hated the enemies I hated the weapons and stuff the inventory system was annoying but the the one of the main problems you go back and watch these people's playthroughs I guarantee they [ __ ] sent Billy up and other random [ __ ] that just make the playthrough so annoying that you just don't even know what you just you just dislike I just disliked it yeah probably because you [ __ ] it's little things like that there's more in the game similar to that part by the way but there's little things like that where it's like in one play through someone sends up Rebecca they probably had a great time in that section and the other play through someone says up Billy they probably had a [ __ ] horrid time like everyone does if they send up Billy in that part you know what I mean but these things aren't talked about it's more so just like [ __ ] on the game you know who cares but already zero move on oh knockoff hunk oh this does not make any how was the t-virus leaked and why did it contaminate both the lab and the Mansion as well as a train almost three miles away that's irrelevant we must make sure no knowledge of this gets out destroy the train it's really cool to see Wesker in this position how far away are you from the nearest Branch line about 10 minutes to what happened [Music] well yeah fail more but to piggyback off of that it's not just playing this like reun remake it's literally playing this like any re game because it plays differently than every re game it has these annoying factors that don't exist in the re franchise except for when you're playing this game so when you when you're like a veteran to the franchise and you played everything up to this point and then you play Zero it's like what the hell is this [ __ ] love this by the way love the soundtrack in this game this song's awesome or not this one but the next one crash it's your birthday dude I told you guys it's everyone's birthday today who wants to stay behind um you want Rebecca to stay behind because Billy so Billy can take more damage he's tankier he has the better weapon right now so you and again again here we go again if you make Rebecca stay behind this is much easier because Billy's tank here he and by the way when Billy shoots powerful weapons he doesn't get knocked back as much correct me if I'm wrong I'm pretty sure it's like that in this game and so it's harder to deal with minor enemies with powerful weaponry and Billy doesn't get knocked back as much and I think the only positive to Rebecca in this game is I think she throws molotovs faster than billywood I'm pretty sure but again this is another part where if you send Rebecca you might die and your last save is like way long ago yada yada I'll go over to the back deck and manipulate the control panel to the break then you apply the brake from here and let's not get started on molotov's holy [ __ ] what what be careful yeah oh look they're getting along another okay another thing another thing another thing I'm sorry it seems like I hate the game but I have to explain these things to people that don't understand because I know every reason why people dislike this I know all these situations that people get in I wonder how many people played this game for the first time they see that timer they're playing as Billy Rebecca and then they're like [ __ ] we gotta go to the back of the train you get to the back of the train you realize you don't have this key card and then you're like oh [ __ ] and then the timer is too far gone the trains are and then you're just like [ __ ] this game you turn it off and you never play it again seriously these are real factors people I know people have been there it's things like that in this game that it's like the key cards Rebecca should just should have given you the key here take this key card you're gonna need it but no they leave it there now I know the camera angle is sort of looking at it so you you should go run and grab it but some people's brain are like [ __ ] panic mode the timer's going on I gotta get the [ __ ] out of here and don't don't say look oh man don't know that's [ __ ] dude look it's there it's the camera angle and it's shining like you'd be a [ __ ] to miss that oh [ __ ] watch blind play these on Twitch you'll become half the website of [ __ ] and also the amount of [ __ ] people I have seen missed the pistol in the Chris playthrough in Resident Evil remake and run around the whole game looking for a weapon guys I don't [ __ ] care that you didn't miss it cool most people a lot of people [ __ ] do and that makes them hate the game this conversation is about why people dislike Resident Evil Zero or like Resident Evil Zero that's a fact that's a thing that happens anyway let's take this card and go [Music] [Music] do do do do do do do know what crack people have spoke when they say the environments are bad and are a zero I think they're awesome personally I can't spend too long in this game though this isn't an re zero Marathon it's all right so we're gonna grab the key card here or we're gonna grab the thing and then the worst jump scare ever why watch watch this is the worst jump scare ever because um the game freezes for a second so you know it's common watch come on yeah foreign my favorite I love moments like this in re zero where you and Rebecca are shooting at the same time and killing zombies [ __ ] man it reminds me of outbreak love this [ __ ] see man I love wailing on zombies with another person and in your playthrough this shit's underrated if you have Billy and Rebecca both equipped with the pistol both shooting zombies you murder [ __ ] you murder [ __ ] let's like I seen the amount of times I've watched people try leech Hunter on Twitch and just can't do it they can't do the achievement to kill every single enemy in leech Hunter it's because um I did a demonstration by the way did a demonstration of how to do leech Hunter Kill All Enemies took one try because if you just bring these these two into a room with the pistol you just destroy things and then for the hard rooms with like Hunters you come back with powerful weapon with Billy and then you waste them but for any room with zombies bailing your Billy and Rebecca dominate bro dominate bro if the AI works but I dude now here here's how here is actually how to make re-zero a [ __ ] god tier game if Capcom let two players play in the remaster and explore rooms um freely foreign would have been [ __ ] great I want classic re's Co-op they'd be so fun I think my controller died Billy holy [ __ ] broski oh cool I'll have to look that up for Elmore they either the AI does use ammo which can work against you honestly [Music] now we get the shotgun Giga chats and this is also weird it's weird to get the hunting rifle like we just got the hunting rifle and then you get and then you make it irrelevant almost immediately like what oh yeah look what we have I was supposed to leave that in the lobby because it sucks right you stay here for the rest of the game yeah that's a really good Stratfield more what's wrong with the hook shot everything okay okay that one was supposed to catch on to that reference now damages you after you kill him just makes matters worse but this is this isn't an enemy I'm like overly passionate about hating because he is very scary like I think it's a very scary enemy when when you see those as a kid you're [ __ ] terrified and that's the main that's the job like that's the main goal of the game to scare you and I think that that is a very scary enemy um but he is annoying boss that's flying around in midair that you have your you have to remember we are playing a game right now [Music] we're playing a game [Music] where you can only aim three directions [Music] like this and you can shoot in between aiming up I think in our easier I'm pretty sure um but a casual player is not gonna do that and you have this boss that's weak to the grenade launcher but he spawns all these little bats which auto aim will Target first and then auto aim targets a little bat you shoot up in the air at fly it it hits the little bat it does like no it's a complete waste of ammo I I don't even think it needs to be talked about but this boss is a horrible it's like the most horribly designed boss objectively in the whole classic franchise it's awful I don't mind it because like in the speedrun it's it is a reset point in the spirit but it is relatively easy to do the speed Strat but this is everything wrong with a Resident Evil boss like it's so [ __ ] bad hopefully it hopefully it doesn't take us hopefully we're fine yes you can clear out the small bats the pistol while the bat [ __ ] done knows Dives even picks you up and drops you and kills you in like three hits no oh my God I screwed up well if we had flame rounds he'd be dead oh [ __ ] I have like no Health we're so [ __ ] foreign now we are aiming for the little bats [Music] great design he might die but I'm probably gonna die ah [Music] isn't that fight great it's actually not too hard with flame rounds but I forgot so in in normal I don't play hard mode ever in normal mode when you go into the save room there's flame rounds right there and you can just kill the boss with them you just unlock them like we would have had him dead there if this is normal mode uh but in hard mode you don't get that luxury I forgot so I used my flame rounds earlier because I got whatever we don't need them but yeah this is a horrible boss [Music] I screwed up though you're supposed to come over here and change your aim oh boy he did it again all right so you can stun lock him like that he would be dead but thank you he's he's relatively squishy like he's almost dead at this point but probably gonna take us a few more tries f uck the little bats do damage the little bats do damage it's poggers I just I can't take that opening hit I'm I'm it's too it's too bad after that opening hit from the bat you are entering an insane world [Music] you are entering an insane world it's the worst fighting well not the worst fight in re it's the worst fighting classicary easily but not the worst fight in Resident Evil in general leave that to okay I'm not God he he just came too quick I'm not taking that like if you get hit there you need some damn good luck to beat him no the worst boss fight would easily go to something and like [ __ ] six also the leech boss fights horrible and re5 that's worse than this I think oh my God move you stupid camera not over there see now you're at the will of the bat auto aim I like the little bats Brown we got him you do something to get up there all right so uh yeah yeah I will tell you guys all about so if you don't have the if you didn't bring the hook shot up to this point let's say you put it in some random room this is again referenced earlier when I mentioned the hook shot ruins this game and a lot of people don't know it but it it does ruin the game for a lot of players it is so now if you don't have the hook shot here and it let's say it's in a bad room in the Mansion which you're it's your first time playing it might be in a horrible room you need to go all the way back all the way back to the mansion you have to go through the new monkey spawns you have to get through the new zombie spawns that are everywhere that you didn't kill and you have to go looking for the hook shot and depending on where you dropped it it might not be too bad but for a lot of players it [ __ ] is that bad and then when you finally get the hook shot guys okay now keep that in your mind okay let's say worst case scenario I keep telling you guys I keep telling everyone objective fact about re zero everyone's played through is vastly different therefore this is the kind of game where it's really hard to be like hey Jimmy is there a zero a good game okay okay now keep that thought right there Jimmy forgot the hook shot here Eli he had to go back to the monkeys and get it then then when he came back he had to he sent Billy up instead of Rebecca 50 50 chance and then he had to take Rebecca all the way back to the [ __ ] Mansion again again and look for this random room that has this random chemical that you need okay and then and then after like 50 deaths and reloading his saves and reloading old saves now if Jimmy finally after like two to three hours which this is a realistic thing that happens in zero gets back and finishes the puzzle and continues out the game Jimmy said no dude the game [ __ ] sucked ass like all you do is backtrack and get killed and go through hard at Monkey enemies and get killed over it [ __ ] sucks and then Johnny oh Johnny is the game good oh yeah I thought ari0 was decent not too bad of a game that's because Johnny had the hook shot here Johnny sent Rebecca up in the next section Donnie got the Magnum in the train Johnny remembered everything he brought everything with him all right it's these things that make CVX is a very similar situation where you'll you'll meet two people and one will say oh CVX is the worst game ever dude it's a soft lock City you mean another and be like oh yeah CVX was so easy dude like these two games I hate when people like say these I'm sharing objective facts about the game an objective fact about these games has to come from anecdotal experience multiple times like through multiple playthroughs and realizing these things that casual players can do and not every casual player is gonna do it it's like um God it's like it's like someone any for any wow fans in the sound I'm just trying to make this correlation there's there's many quests in a Zone called the Barons where you run from one side to the other and for one player you might remember the quest item right beside you and for the other player you'll run all the way down take you like 20 minutes to get to the bottom of Barons talk to the quest turn in guy and he's like oh you don't have the item that you need to turn this quest in and then you realize oh [ __ ] it's all the way back where I got the goddamn Quest and you have to go all the way back up to the top pick up the item that's sitting by the quest giver and go all the [ __ ] way back down it's stuff like that in games that change people's opinions and yeah but video games are like this that's not bad that yeah that's that's fine I understand that but the thing is people will go and they'll be like or is your [ __ ] sucks dude and you'll say why and then they'll just come up with some random Reasons I'm giving the objective read I'm giving you the reasons that are in the back of people's psyche that they don't even know about this is why people dislike and like the game these are facts I'm sharing I'm giving you guys a [ __ ] too crazy different because in re2 it doesn't matter the things you do because re2 gives you like a billion [ __ ] bullets you can you can beat re2 so easily it's one of the easiest re games ever made because there's like 200 bullets for the shotgun there's like freaking 500 grenade rounds you know there's not actually but there's a ton of ammo in that game and the odds if you like soft locking or running into trouble is very low the only let's see if you have trouble with re2 it's because you're thinking it's gonna be hard and you're not taking the shotgun with you because you think you need to save it you're not taking the grenade launcher or the Magnum because you think you need to save the ammo but in reality in re2 it's it's the exact kind of game you watch a blind playthrough and you get the the player gets to the end and if they had trouble you check their box out and it's just like bullets for every [ __ ] gun because they refuse to use any powerful weapons that's the main problem people run into in re they just don't want to use powerful weapons like even the shotgun they'd be like no I can't waste it can't waste it and I'm like that too I was like that when I played reality you're supposed to send Rebecca up the game is far easier if you send Rebecca up I'll say it again if you send Billy up you have to go unless you collected the chemical earlier which you may might still go all the way back to the mansion even if you get the chemical because you don't understand the puzzle if you don't understand the puzzle it's doubt it's it's twice as bad because you go back to the mansion you don't even know what the [ __ ] you're looking for all right so we send Rebecca up yeah a smart player could do that firmware that's true but most won't not everyone is on Twitch and like um getting told the cool things to do and this game came out back when like you know on GameCube not a lot of people were surfing the internet figuring out how to do things the best and there weren't many guides on how to do things a certain way so they would just do whatever and then if if trouble arose for them they just quit the game they wouldn't be like ah you know what you is full of monkeys now this area will destroy and this is the this is probably the the major problem if this room led to the mansion I think it'd be fine but the fact that it leads straight to insane danger is brutal it's brutal do you come out here and most likely you're just gonna die and then to hope to God you go the correct way instantly it's not too far away but you just have to remember as problems ever is keeping a character in a dangerous room switching to another character like this and then having the character scream out that they're being killed and then they're dead and then you have bats back to the old save that is something people do all the time in this game I just haven't mentioned it because I don't do it it's hard to do when you know a little about the game oh wait let's pick this back actually no we don't have the space because of the stupid hook shot um oh [ __ ] dude oh wait we'll just grab them back when we go up like even this is a little Annoying like I know what's gonna happen and it's hard to get my inventory in a way that when when Billy gets taken away that I have stuff on Rebecca her partner gets grabbed by a zombie but you shoot it off before it has a chance to fight your partner still takes damage yeah that's that's an epic one Matt there's just a lot of like this is a very experimental game so there's a lot of issues with it it's just for the people that love re clones this might be your favorite re that is not like your traditional re um okay give me those oh give me those Magnum rounds holy [ __ ] and um yeah it looks like it should like it Resident Evil Capcom this is the perfect item to be like you don't need this anymore would you like to discard but nope you're gonna be carrying around a two slot item for the rest the rest of the game again let me say it you don't need this ever again but a casual player is gonna bring it to the end of the [ __ ] game because why wouldn't you the game has taught you the game has conditioned you to think you need it every so often and for those who are like I did that yeah like you did that skill death most people do because why wouldn't you you just used it right now why did an enemy tier list play time is over that's you and your friends no longer amuse me no good riddance now nothing will stop me from getting my revenge uh oh I really dislike the second last boss in this game I think he's really annoying which is that dude oh okay this looks cool too man I love a lot of the I love what a lot of the places look like in here last spot sucks for Speed runs but casually he's fine he blows for Speed runs yeah saving it I inventory is full permanently I can't imagine the final boss for no hit runs that sounds painful it was probably I think there is some manipulation for him but still it's like sketchy as hell I also really like this little puzzle I I like the puzzles in zero I think they're great I think it has awesome puzzles yep I already [ __ ] it
