so let me tell you a little bit about a Alan and I want to talk about some of the things that he had some of you that may not know hey Alan was born in 1910 he died in June of 1970 at 59 years old he was used powerfully by God in the 1950s in the 60s with miracles he was an anointed evangelist but it was it was common it was regular in all of his meetings for creative miracles a blind to see the lame to walk the Deaf to hear the paralyzed to walk the dead to be raised yet an unusual ministry compared to the normal typical ministry and it wasn't always like that with Al and he sought the Lord he was the earlier part of his ministry as to why he wasn't seeing in his ministry the same power that he would read about in the book of Acts and he sought the Lord and sought the Lord a number of times he said sometimes I would set myself to fasting and praying until I heard from God Lord why don't I have this power and he said then he would give up and then he would try again and fast and pray for a while he wouldn't he seemed to hear and then he'd give up but he said one time his hunger was so great he said I don't care if I had to die trying I'm just gonna find out I was gonna seek the Lord and find him and as he was fasting and seeking the Lord in his literally in his prayer closet the Lord Jesus Christ appeared to him in his closet he said I thought someone was turning on the light but my closet lit up with the glory of God and there the Lord Jesus stood in front of me in my closet he said up he was so bright the glory coming from him I couldn't see his his form but I knew he was standing there and the Lord spoke to him and gave him 13 reasons why the power God wasn't in his ministry 11 of those were scripture verses the Lord gave him a scripture verse and what expound on that verse 11 of them the last two aelon said were personal she was in his own life so he said the first eleven applied to anybody and everybody who wants to walk in the power of God so he said after he received this from the Lord he was actually had a pencil and a paper and he asked the Lord could just slow down and repeat it and the Lord did he wrote down everything the Lord said later he put it in a book called the price of God's miracle working power he said after the Lord left he said I was both exhilarated and encouraged and also overwhelmed and felt a little discouraged he said I was encouraged that the Lord had heard my prayer gave me the answer I was asking him for but when I looked at the list he gave me I didn't know how long it would take me to be able to fulfill this but he said one by one I begin to consecrate my life to Christ and I was able to check off the list off each one of the things the Lord written down when I checked the last one off the miracle power God began to break out in my every meeting in his ministry he would go into trances he would it was common for him to be in a meeting in the middle of his meeting go into a trance have visions words of knowledge see people know their names or addresses in meetings people that were paralyzed had severed spinal cords would get up and walk the blind see people with no hands would get new hands he with no feet would get new feet all kinds of awesome miracles led he led multitudes to the Lord people get delivered from demons they brought people in on cots that were on their deathbed and they would get up and walk so he tells about the consecration of the Lord asked of him but we've been talking about me in our Sunday series we've done 7 weeks called becoming a vessel of honor from 2nd Timothy chapter 2 verse 20 I'll read that in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver but also wood and clay some for honors some for dishonor therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter that means from dishonor he will be a vessel for honor sanctified and useful for the master prepared for every good work so the kind of vessel that we our depends on what we want to be if we want to invest our heart and our energy and our priorities into becoming sanctified and consecrated to the Lord God says in his eyes that will make us a vessel of Honor useful for the master and if we don't allow the Lord to sanctify and purify us then we can't be useful to the master to the degree that he wants so we're gonna talk about these 11 points and how we can all be sanctified and useful for the master in the realm of the supernatural now probably most of you have heard of William Branham and if you haven't I'll just tell you a little bit about him he was visited by the Lord back in I think 1946 he was a forerunner to the healing revival of that really broke out in 1948 and 49 and 50 mm-hm and some say that William Branham flowed in his ministry in more power than anybody that we know of since the first century at his time in the 40s and the 50s if people would stand before him he had a visitation and he was anointed with gifts he was a very humble man and he flowed in power people would stand before him and he'd tell him details all about their life and they'd be instant creative healing miracles deliverances and and so uh he prophesied before his death William Branham prophesied anybody ever seen either the videos of him should go on youtube and watch some of them you call people out it's one by one they'd stand in front of me tell their name their address details about him you had a car accident here's the street that had happened on it happened on this date here's what happened in your body he tell them the disease one of his hands God put a miracle where he could put his hand in front of their body and he could discern what the disease was or discern if it was a demon that needed to be cast out and he administered to them they'd be healed and it's like next and the pillar of fire would be seen sometimes in his meetings william branham prophesied before his death that he was a forerunner and he said there's coming a company of people before the Lord's coming a whole company of people that will walk in this power that I'm walking in he said they'll walk in more power and more anointing than I'm walking in what they'll walk in will make what I'm doing look simple that was his prophecy a whole company of people and so I want to say this that hmm God wants to raise up a body of people that will be consecrated unto the Lord where God can work through many many people the end time harvest is great end time harvest is great and God's going to use anointed harvesters people that are consecrated to the Lord so what encourage us this is not beyond our reach this is something that God's offering to all of us somebody say Amen so uh well talk a little bit about the it's 11 points I I wrote down some things directly from his book I'll expound on some of them first I want to say this that if you get his book the price of God's miracle working power if it's one of the more recently published ones I have one of the ones it was back from the four 1948 or 1950 I think it was published in 1950 I have one of the original books but if you get one of the newer print where they've reprinted the book else there's a page in there that will say the AE Allen died of alcoholism and I want to tell you that that's not true even though the people are saying that are well-meaning they've been misinformed my wife and I know a Ellen's granddaughter Cheryl Bryan she's married to Dave Bryan they live up in Yuba City California pastor a church up there I've ministered in his church and my wife is good friends with Cheryl Bryan the granddaughter of a Helen she told us about her grandfather she said she only knew him as a man of God he was not an alcoholic he didn't drink and she's not just saying that because he's his family but he was murdered by by jealous Christian ministers and the doctor signed his death certificate was bribed $10,000 now the doctor that died before his death in his 90s he confessed on his deathbed to the a Allen's family and gave them a copy of the check that he was paid a $10,000 check Cheryl Bryan has a copy of that check that he was paid $10,000 by a Christian denomination to lie on the death certificate no and now here's another confirmation of that is it Bobby Connor doesn't know didn't know and I've talked with Bobby and told him what I know what I heard from Cheryl Brian al his granddaughter who has the who had the their family received the confession of the doctor who lied on the death certificate he showed them the check he was paid by a Christian to I don't want to say the name of the denomination Bobby Conner didn't know any of that he was teaching on different mighty men and women of God who been used powerfully by God and when he got to Al and he told about all the great exploits that Yellin did and then he told what has been reported he said but apparently at the end of his life he went off into alcoholism and died of alcoholism Bobby said after I got back to my room after I did that he said the Lord appeared to me in my room and rebuked me he said you just lied about my servant Alan he was a righteous man he said you'll find out when you get to heaven and he said he didn't die out from alcoholism he there's the words is what Bobby told me you heard this from the Lord Jesus Christ he said he was murdered by the Christian mafia so jealous Christian ministers murdered him and paid the doctor to say that he died from alcoholism that's what happened he was a godly man and didn't they get jealous of Jesus because of the power that he flowed in and they murdered him they murdered the Apostles so if we want to be really anointed and used powerfully by God that could be an option at the end of our life who knows amen well you're excited now but I just wanted to say that I wanted to say this listen we need to look at the lives of those who walked in the anointing in the power of God because God wants us to it's quiet in here God wants us to be more anointed than we he wants me to be more anointed than I am he doesn't just want one or two very anointed people he wants to raise up a whole body of believers that are anointed anybody interested in it anybody interested in hearing what God told it you Alan okay each of these eleven points the Lord gave him a scripture the Lord expounded and I want to touch on those and then I'll add a few little things here and there to help expound on it so this summary that I'm giving you is taking from the words that were spoken directly to a Alan from the Lord Jesus Christ telling him what was required of him if he was to walk in the power of God like Jesus and the Apostles did the first scripture the Lord gave him was Matthew 10:24 he said the disciple is not above his master nor the servant above his Lord aelon writes if the disciple could attain the same results that Jesus did without paying the same price which Jesus paid then it would have to be confessed that the disciple had become greater than his master the student would have learned a better more efficient method than that which was taught by the Lord Jesus Christ if the Lord Jesus Christ rose up very early in the morning to pray if he fasted and waited on God in prayer so that he could hear God and be in union with his father then we should not think that we could have a very close walk with God without doing the same thing so we need to let that settle in the servant is not above his master we have to seek to walk the same way Jesus did if we want to walk in the same power that he walked in he says we should not think that we could have a very close walk with God without doing what Jesus did if he was persecuting light about because he walked with his father then we should not think that we will be without persecution and slander we must be willing to walk the walk that he walked so that was the first point the disciple is not above his master and the servant not above his Lord by the way I'll you can go over this can meditate on it and pray over it this is these really need to be digested and ponder meditated on let it sink in we're gonna walk with God we need to pursue the same kind of walk Jesus had amen number two the Lord said to him the second verse he gave was Luke 6:40 is not above his master but everyone that is perfect shall be as his master he capitalized the words be as his master so that's what the Lord said to him if we're to be like him in power we must also be like him in holiness in consecration and meekness and in compassion I took a lot of these words directly out of his book we must be like him in prayer and in fellowship with a father we must be like him in faith we must be like him in self-denial so the second scripture the Lord gave is the goal of our life must be to be like him and again we have to let that sink in it's just not something we can get by hearing me say one scripture from the pulpit we need to take this verse and ponder it and think about the life of Christ and think about him being our example and God wants me to be like him so these are the points the Lord gave him if you want to walk in the power I walked in this is not for a few full-time ministers this is for any believer that's hungry to walk closer to God and be more filled with the Holy Spirit I'll share with you uh an encounter Neville Johnson had with some angels several years ago he shared this here in this pulpit he said he was visited from some angels that had been involved in the 1950s miracle healing revival in America and the angels came to Neville and said right now in heaven we and other angels that were assigned to the earth for that miracle healing revival in the 50s we're now in heaven training thousands and thousands he didn't say what number many angels are now being trained to come to the earth and work with people to do miracles and healings and signs and wonders and he said when the he said the Lord told us these two angels that were talking to Neville that the greatest move of God of miracles and healings that has ever been seen in the history of the planet is about to come to the earth so God's preparing all these angels to come to earth and work with people his angels told Neville they said we were so grieved during the miracle healing revival of the 50s some of the ministers were in flesh leanness and competition and pride I heard some stories from Paul Cain who was involved in that and uh the angel said when we saw some of the ministers who were carnal and prideful and in competition we asked the Lord we said Lord they said it grieved us when we were on the earth to see how some of the ministers were some of the ministers died early if you read about Jack Coe he was powerfully used by the Lord but he died at age 38 he received a warning from a prophetic warning from Kenneth Hagin one year before he died and Kenneth Hagin told him you must judge yourself in three areas of your life in your weight he was very obese he weighed about 400 pounds must judge herself in finances and you must judge herself in harshness toward the Brethren the Lord said he's given you one year to judge yourself he said and if you don't judge herself he's gonna judge you and he'll take you home early he said about one year later he got sick and in three days he was dead that amazing I and I have some old recording I've heard of Jack Coe he was very anointed he loved the Lord he was really used by God but there were things in him that were unsanctified that got left unchecked and uh so these angels talked to Neville about it and said we asked the Lord if we could be excused we were just grieved we didn't we don't want to go back to earth and work with people that are carnal and the Lord said no he said up I never again am I gonna release that kind of power on unsanctified vessels he said but now in this last move oh let me back up the Angels told Neville every person that had a great miracle ministry back in in those days TL Osborn Al and Jack Co different ones he said they had one angel assigned to them and the Lord told these angels but now this final move where I'm gonna pour out my spirit and move in power all over the earth he said it's not just for full time ministers for any Christian that will consecrate themselves he said any Christian that will consecrate themselves will have a double portion of what they had in the 50s movement I'll assign two angels to any and every Christian that will consecrate themselves to God come on somebody so we should take heat so uh I'm interested in this there's a need our city has needs we need to see our city saved we need we need to see the next city in the next city the next one saved after that we need the power of God on a higher than what we're all walking in so number three so the second one was we're not above the the disciples not above his master but everyone that's perfect she'll be as his master so let me go on and here's some scriptures that he wrote first John 2:6 whoever says he abides in Jesus all himself to walk just as he walked 1st Peter chapter 2 verse 21 for to this you were called because Christ also suffered for us and he he highlighted this phrase leaving us an example that we should follow in his steps so we're to be as our master in Romans 8 verses 28 29 tells us the great eternal purpose of God for every believer it says we know that all things work together for good to those who love God to those who are the called according to his purpose how many know that verse we oftentimes we quote it something unpleasant happens in our life and then it ends up good and we say oh all things work together for good but oftentimes that's a misapplication of the truth that's in that verse it doesn't mean that everything works together for good for our situations in our comfort it works together for good for us to be conformed to the image of Christ because the next verse says everything works together to good for those who love God who are called according to his purpose the next verse for who be foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his son that's his purpose so everything in our life for those that love God whether it's painful up down twisted straight rough smooth sad happy matter glad whatever happens God says if you love me I work all of it for good for this purpose to conform us to the image of Christ so that's what we need to understand the second point he gave him is we are to be as our master again I want to emphasize we're not gonna get all these deep in our heart by hearing this message one time but you can get the CD or you can watch on YouTube again you can get this printout and go over it number three oh let me back up number two when it says to be as his master that was the driving burden in the Apostle Paul's heart in Galatians 4:19 Paul said my little children for whom I labor in birth again until Christ is formed in you so that was his apostolic burden his labor his preaching his prayers his teaching of the church was to see Christ formed in people in Colossians chapter 1 verse 28 and 29 Paul says heavily preach warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus the word perfect means complete whole entire lacking nothing so his apostolic burden was to see Christ formed in us and see us complete in him that's the goal number three the third scripture the Lord gave Helen was be therefore perfect even as your father who in heaven is perfect so if we're gonna walk in the power of God living a perfect life should be our goal somebody say Amen it should be our goal Genesis 17 verse 1 and 2 these are some of the verses that Al and put with it when Abraham was 99 years old the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him I am Almighty God walk before me and be blameless and I will make my covenant between me and you and I'll multiply you exceedingly Deuteronomy 1813 God said you shall be blameless before the Lord your God so walking that way walking clean walking pure before the Lord should be our life goal being conformed to his image being like our master notice that all of these points that we'll see as we go through all of them all of them are related to godliness character and conformity to Christ second Corinthians 7:1 therefore having these promises beloved let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit and perfect holiness in the fear of God first Peter 1 verse 15 and 16 but as he who called you is holy you also be holy in all your conduct because it is written be holy for I am holy here's what Jesus said in John 14 verse 30 he said the ruler of this world is coming and he has nothing in me may it be said of us the enemy's coming but he can't find anything in me Leviticus 10 verse 3 Moses said to Aaron this is what the Lord spoke saying by those who come near me I must be regarded as Holy and before all the people I must be glorified so to pursue perfection even as our Father who's in heaven is perfect first Thessalonians three verses 12 and 13 gives us an idea of what perfection looks like it says may the Lord make you increase and abound in love to one another to all just as we do to you so that he may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints so he's saying when love increases and overflows and that's what's going on in our heart God says in his eyes were now blameless and in holy before him so holy it means to be set apart for God's purpose so that every motion of our heart is springing from the motive of unselfish love when that's happening God says you're blameless we can do this I said we can do this anybody know what Philippians 4:13 says I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me we are in him 1st corinthians 1 verse 30 and 31 says it's God's doing that you're in Christ Jesus who became for us wisdom from God and righteousness and sanctification and redemption so Jesus himself the person of Jesus is our righteousness Christ in us is our sanctified sanctification he's the one that works in us if we keep his word and walk in it he works in us both to willing to do Philippians 2:13 of his good pleasure so he's our Sanctifier amen so he can do that if we're aware of first Timothy 1:5 the goal of the commandment is love from a good conscience sincere faith in a pure heart that the goal is love so we understand that then then we're growing every week we're growing in love we get to the place where whatever's coming out of our heart comes from love God says you're blameless before me so the fourth scripture we have 11 of them the fourth one that the Lord gave at Yellin was first Peter chapter 2 verse 21 and through 23 it says for to this you were called because Christ also suffered for us leaving us an example that you should follow his steps who committed no sin nor was deceit found in his mouth when he was reviled he did not revile and return when he suffered he did not threaten but he committed himself to him to God who judges righteously that was a verse the Lord gave him so so we're looking at the Lord Jesus Christ and Peter's talking about when he was arrested and he was before Pontius Pilate and before the soldiers who mocked him and before the people who spat upon him when he was reviled they mocked him he didn't revile back when he suffered he didn't threaten but he committed himself to God he was silent as a sheep before his Shearer's so what's is saying to us if we're gonna walk in the power of God we cannot defend ourselves we have to become like Jesus if we refuse to defend ourselves the Lord will defend us we cannot defend ourselves that's how people in church get into gossip and backbiting and strife well so-and-so said this about you and so here we go to defend well they said that well this we need to be like Jesus keep our mouth shut when we're reviled say nothing back when we suffer don't threaten we have to follow the lamb he was the lamb silent before the shearers we have to follow the lamb when we see in the book of Revelation 144,000 standing on Mount Zion they're the overcomers I don't know who they are but I know some things about them it said they followed the lamb wherever he went which means that they walked in these footsteps when they were reviled they didn't revile back they didn't defend herself you can say whatever you want about me I want to be quiet come on somebody we have to do that first John 3:6 says whoever abides in him does not sin it said that Jesus suffered for us too left us an example that we should follow his steps the first thing it says he committed no sin so he's our example if he committed no sin by the grace of God so can we I believe that to believe that neither was guile in his mouth so there was no deceit there was no cunning his words jesus said in john 6 my words are spirit and life so our words are to be the same his word Luke 432 his word was with power so far our tongue is tamed and submitted to the Holy Spirit then our words will progressively as we become more christ-like our words will have more power if I were sir to be with power we must talk as he talked that was number four says he Luke 4:22 all bore witness to Jesus and they marveled at the gracious words which proceeded out of his mouth that was a fourth so what are we doing we're looking at consecration we're looking at sanctifying ourselves Joshua 3:5 sanctify yourself for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders I pray that you may all of us will give ourselves over to the Lord be sanctified and there will be many many people powerfully in the wintered amen number five you ready for number five are these good number five the Lord gave him Luke 9:23 he said if anyone desires to come after me let him deny himself and he highlighted the words deny himself let him take up his cross and follow me so I'm just reading what Allen wrote he said will you come after him will you do the works Jesus did then wait in his presence and let him speak to your soul about the things of self which have not yet been denied let his life of self-denial be your pattern and you are well on the way to sharing in his miracle-working power it's a it's the first step in following Jesus if anybody's going to come after me let him deny himself almost all offense which brings contention division arguing strife it's all rooted in self-centeredness itself when self is denied it's impossible to get offended unless we're it's our spirit man is offended against there's certain things we should be offended we should be offended by abortion but I'm talking about righteous offense but in relationships with people when we're mistreated we shouldn't be offended when people don't honor us or they talk ill of us or they disrespect us it shouldn't offend us we should be dead to that amen help us Lord to deny ourselves it's self that gets in the way self is a bigger problem than the devil it's the truth because the Bible says if we submit to God then we can resist the devil and he'll go so the issue is not resisting the devil it's bringing self into submission to God because that happens the devil has to go amen help us Lord to deny ourself every time I read this verse not every time many times when I read this verse I remember how humorous it was for me dear Dick Mills he's in heaven now he used to minister here at this church and he was an anointed prophet and he had about five thousand scripture verses memorized in three or four different translations and he was really gifted prophetically he could look at you and if he got a word like for example if he saw Joseph and the Lord said tell him I'm gonna prosper him financially he would have four he'd say God's gonna prosper you they didn't say Philippians 4:19 Deuteronomy 8:18 and he give verse after verse about financial prosperity it was awesome he just had the Bible memorized he didn't tell you which translation you give people he said proverbs 16 and the amplified says this in the New Jerusalem it says this just awesome prophetic anointing accurate words anyway he was also very funny he said I won one time he said I have a word for all the single women were believing God for a husband he said raise your hand I have a scripture for you so these ladies raise her hand and he said it's Luke 9:23 it says if anyone desires to come after me let him and he stopped right there but it says let him deny himself amen so point number six Luke was the same scripture Luke 9:23 and then the Lord emphasized it says if any man will come after me let him deny himself and take up his cross daily so the sixth thing the Lord said if we're gonna walk in his power come on how many are going to do this we're gonna do this this isn't the Lions Club or the Elks Club this is the Church of the Living God we're following Jesus amen he said here's what he said take up his cross daily so we have to be reminded of this thing isn't amazing how these things that were from the lips of the Lord Jesus instructing a man of God who was hungry to be more anointed so he could be more powerfully used to help God's people these are the instructions Jesus gave them and we almost never hear this kind of teaching or preaching in the church today it could be why there's a lack of power Jesus said take up your cross daily and follow me I was blessed to know a man of God again his name is Sam chiller dry he's in heaven now I went to be with the Lord in 2012 but beginning back in 1984 for for almost three decades I I over that time I took a number of trips to India he was a wonderful man of God he was probably 25 or 30 years older than me Sam chiladurai oh he was just sold out to God just lived for the Lord he pastored a big church and he did outreaches all the time in villages he reached out to the poor all the time preaching the gospel to the unreached in India so I've been with him numerous times in India in villages and pounds and throughout India ministering and I'm telling you he lived a sacrificial life his whole life was for this one purpose to serve God that's it and he had a godly wife he had nine children and two of them two or three of them are in heaven already now I know his family and his wife was saintly he used to tell me he said my wife is more godly than I am he said she takes care of all the kids and never complains that I spend so much time serving God she just says you go and do it and she prays for me and supports me and takes care of the house and she sacrifices having him voluntarily and gladly he said I couldn't do what I'm doing without my godly wife he said I really believe she's more godly than me but he was a very saintly man he was anointed knowing with power and and gifting and all that he told me how one time he was going through a lot of trials in his ministry and his habit was to get up at 3 o'clock or 4:00 in the morning and pray for a few hours every day he said he remembered just going through some hard trials and he was seeking the Lord and he was in his room praying and he said the hallway the door was open the hallway and while he was praying he said the Lord Jesus Christ walked down the hallway not in a vision in the flesh walk down the hallway and stood in the doorway he was saying Lord I'm having a hard time it says I'm going through some real challenges and difficulties Lord he's the Lord came and stood in the hallway and said son I gave you the gift of preaching and I'm telling he was an anointed preacher he said I gave you the gift of preaching take up your cross and follow me and he walked away and believe it or not he said that brought him straight see sometimes we look for a way out but when the truth settles in and says this is my destiny I'm supposed to walk in his footsteps how am I going to become like him unless I walked the same path isn't that awesome that ministered to me he didn't say oh I'm gonna make it easy he said take up your cross and follow me and strength came into him he took up his cross and just kept going God was with him and if we're gonna walk with God it doesn't mean we won't have trials it doesn't mean it won't be hard does it mean that sometimes we won't be lonely does it mean that sometimes we won't be hurting it means we're to take up our cross and keep going somebody say Amen it says looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith who for the joy that was set before him he endured the cross despising the shame and is set down the right hand of the throne of God here's what Helen writes he says Moses took up his cross when he turned away from the throne of Egypt to identify himself with his brethren a race of slaves that he Moses might through suffering and sacrifice bring delivers to all of them Paul was following Jesus bearing his cross when he declared in the book of Acts Paul said see now I go bound in the spirit to Jerusalem I don't know the things that will happen to me there except the Holy Spirit is testified in every city saying that chains and tribulations await me but none of these things move me nor do I count my life dear to myself that I may finish my race with joy and the Ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus to testify to the gospel of the grace of God to take up the cross is to embrace hard things to embrace painful things in order to fully do the will of God it means to be disciplined to have a prayer life to be devoted to obedience to take difficulties without complaining if we're gonna follow Jesus we have to take up our cross somebody say Amen that's point number six we have a few more to go shall we keep going how many want to walk in these come on we can do this Christ is with us he's in us he said I'll never leave you or forsake you Hebrews 13 verse five and verse six the Lord has said I'll never leave you or forsake you so that we may boldly say the Lord is my helper I will not fear what can man do to me praise the Lord now in Hebrews chapter 13 verse 5 Paul I believe is the writer of Hebrews he's quoting the old the Psalms the Lord has said I will never leave your forsaken it's a quote from the scripture why did the Lord say it I said the Lord has said I will never leave you or forsake you so that we may boldly say it death and life are in the power of the tongue the Lord has said I'll never leave you or forsake you so that we can say it not just think it but say it he said so the we can boldly say the Lord is my helper I will not fear what can man do to me because when we say it it activates it death and life are in the power of the tongue anyway number seven the Lord gave him John 3:30 I must decrease and he puts his scripture from acts chapter 3 verse 12 and 16 when great healing miracles were happening through the hands of the Apostles and the Apostles decreased and they gave glory to God here's what they said men of Israel why do you marvel at this healing miracle why do you look so intently at us as though by our own power godless we made this man to walk and his name Jesus through faith in his name has made this man strong whom you see and know yes the faith which comes through him has made him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all so when the man was healed and the people were in awe they didn't take the glory and say yes amen huh we've really holy they said it's not our own godliness it's faith in Jesus and they decreased and gave glory to God second Corinthians three 5 it says Paul writes not that we are sufficient of ourself to think of anything as being from ourselves but our sufficiency from God so if we're gonna decrease we have to remember that John 15 verse 5 jesus said of course in the whole chapter 15 he said I'm the vine you're the branch the branch can't do anything apart from the vine he said remain in me and you'll bear fruit but he said in John 15 verse 5 without me you can't do anything so we have to remember that that anything good that ever happens in our life is because of him it's his grace so we give him all the glory so we decrease amen whoever exalts himself will be humbled but whoever humbles himself will be exalted so we must decrease I remember said to Selfridge you may remember this was given a vision one time as he was waiting on the Lord he saw a vision he saw a window and he saw rays of sunlight coming in the window the Lord said to him what do you see he said Lord I see rays of light coming in the window the Lord said look again what do you see she said I looked more closely at the vision he said I could see little particles of dust shimmering in the sunlight you know how that is we've all seen the rays of light and you can sort of see a little bit of dust he said I see a little bit of dust the Lord said to him you actually can't see the dust what you're seeing is a small amounts of light reflecting off the dust is what you see sparkling look like little sparkles in the sunlight he said those little lights aren't even the dust it's the light from the Sun reflecting off the dust then the Lord said to him and so are you whenever I use you whenever I pour my spirit out or I use you with my anointing or my power people aren't seeing you my even my mighty power they're seeing the little bit of light just like a small amount of light on a piece of dust compared to how great this son is is what it's like when God anoints us to move in the supernatural and people think oh that person's awesome jesus said they're not seeing you they're seeing my anointing were the dust come on somebody that's what it means to decrease I value in I treasure that revelation I try to remember that a lot because it's the truth it's the truth and we should remember that and say God anything good that ever happens it's your grace then number eight if we're gonna walk in the flow of the anointing that Jesus walked in he must increase John 3:30 he's quoting John the Baptist he must increase I must decrease so now he said he emphasized he must increase the only way God could increase in my life at yelling rights to the point where he would be working through me in power was for me to keep everything out from between me and God he must remain the great I am in my own experience I must continually walk in the light of his word by the power of his spirit I must decrease day by day becoming more and more absorbed in him who must increase he must increase that's what he wrote he wrote Galatians 2:20 I've been crucified with Christ no longer I who live but Christ lives in me the reality is this Colossians 3:4 says through chapter 3 verse 4 when Christ who is our life appears you will also appear with him he tells us that Christ is our life he's our everything he's the Alpha and the Omega the beginning and end he's everything apart from him we can do now he must increase and then what the thought that came to me as I've been pondering this was what Jesus said to the Church of Ephesus in Revelation chapter 2 he told the church he said I know your works your labor your patience and that you cannot bear those who are evil and you've tested those who say there are pauses and they're not you found them liars you have persevered you have patience you've labored for my name's sake become weary nevertheless I have this against you you have left your first love that's that's what came to my mind when I thought of he must increase the Lord said remember from where you've fallen repent and do the first works or else I'll come to you quickly remove your lampstand from its place unless you repent so for the Lord to increase he has to become our first love and he told the church he said if you repent if you overcome he said I will grant to him that overcomes I'll give to eat from the tree of life the tree of life which is in the midst of garden is Jesus he's the Tree of Life so Jesus saying if we keep him if he keeps increasing he becomes our first love our magnificent obsession he said I'll give you to eat of Jesus that's a good word so said point number eight is he must increase I know this is a lot to absorb in one teaching this is just heavy and it's a lot and I just don't believe we can get it number nine this is pretty heavy here he said Matthew 12:36 the Lord said to my Sadie that for every idle word every useless word that men may speak that will give a count of it in the day of judgment he talked to him about bridling our tongue so that what comes out of our mouth is the Oracles of God the grace of God the truth of God so that's important that's another thing that has to happen if we're going to flow in the power of God our tongues have to be bridled god help us all proverbs 10:19 and the multitude of words sin is not lacking but he who restrains his lips is wise aelon writes john 6:63 says jesus said the words that I speak to you our spirit and they are life and then a Alan rights what are your words ouch so Jesus's words our spirit and life ours are also supposed to be that and that it only happened James says you can't have bitter and sweet water come out of the same fountain he's talking about our tongue so we must be intentional about bridling our tongue if we're gonna flow in the anointing the power of God these is 4:29 let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth but what is good for necessary edification that it may impart grace to the hearers may we refrain from all gossip and repeating things that don't edify the other person let someone else have the ministry of criticism let us have the ministry of edification and speaking the Oracles of God Colossians 4:6 let your speech be always with grace seasoned with salt first Peter 4:11 if anyone speaks let him speak as the Oracles of God God help us to ponder that and hold it in our heart whatever we say would be love edification positive good truth whatever's lovely of good report let's think about it and say those things though our words are more important maybe than we realize and our words have more power than we realize and so God puts a lot of weight on what comes out of our mouth somebody say min-hee God doesn't like complaining but giving of thanks here's a prayer to pray Isaiah 50 verse 4 and I pray this sometimes and whenever I remember - it seemed like God always answers it Isaiah 50 verse 4 it says it's a prophecy concerning the Lord Jesus it says the Lord God has given me the tongue of the learning that I should know how to speak a word in season to him who's weary he wakens me morning by morning he awakens my ear to hear as the learned isn't that an awesome verse what if we prayed that and said God would you awaken me tomorrow morning and give me a word to speak to somebody that's weary I believe if we pray it God will do it I had it happened this morning I've been praying this during my prayer time someone's face came in front of me they don't even live in this city someone who I don't even think about some of that used to go to this church five six seven or eight years ago but they moved they live in another state I'm praying this morning their face comes before me then a scripture comes before me I said Lord you answered my prayer I said Lord waking me in the morning teach me to say something that will bring encouragement to the weary and he did it so I just got online I don't know their email or how to reach him looked him up on Facebook with the Facebook messenger said I'm in prayer I saw your face this morning here's the word praise the Lord we can all do that we can all do that what would happen if all of us started praying like that regularly I said we started praying Isaiah 54 54 regularly and we even said Lord every time I come to church will you let me have a word for somebody who's weary you know a word from God can change everything one word from God can change everything I tell you this Kevin green his mother goes to a church here in the valley and a friend of hers at her church she's an elderly lady this an awesome testimony I love this she's at Walmart here on the east side of Walmart shopping she's an older lady Kevin's mother so you know who is her friend she's got to be in her 80s she's shopping at Walmart she sees another man an older man by himself and she hears the Holy Spirit say go over to that man and tell him I love him and ask him if you can pray for him she said Lord I'm not gonna do that I'm a woman he's a man he's a stranger that's strange Lord I'm not doing that Holy Spirit said go over there and tell him I love it pray for him she said Lord this is gonna be strange he said go over and tell him I love him and pray for him so she walked over to their basket and she said excuse me see he looked her as he said I I felt like the Lord said for me to come over here and tell you that he loves you and asked can I pray for you the man became visibly moved emotionally he said yes you can he said that was an answer to the cry of my heart after I left the store tonight I was gonna go home and commit suicide and in my heart I said God do you love me he said you walked over and said God said to tell you he loves you come on somebody he says the Lord will teach us how to speak a word to the weary that one word saved him from going to hell now that's what God wants us to speak the Oracles of God Christ is in you Christ talks to you you hear his voice how do I know because you're a sheep he said my sheep hear my voice yes you do hear his voice yes you do you hear his voice I believe we pray if we say God sanctify my tongue no corrupt speech I don't need to repeat things Robert says he that repeat a matter separates friends but love covers that's what it says he that repeats a matter separates friends that you know do you hear what so-and-so said yeah and then we repeat it and then we cause more offense more gossip more division more strife he the repeat semadar separates friends but love covers we don't need to repeat it let our lips be quiet and let grace be on our lips anyway so that was number number nine our words God make us people who speak the Oracles of God praise the Lord we have two more to go can you handle it alright number ten the Lord gave him Romans 12 verse 1 I beseech you therefore brethren by the mercies of God that you present your bodies a living sacrifice holy acceptable to God which is your reasonable service and the words that he Highland were present your bodies a living sacrifice a Yellin rights this an acceptable consecration is like handing God a blank paper with your name signed at the bottom and saying fill it in Lord any way you want this should be by contract for the use of my entire life we must present our body a living sacrifice holy and acceptable to God let us we can do that because the Holy Spirit's in us you know I let me go back to point number 9 I want to share with you a vision I had Melinda and I were listening to some different people giving their prophetic insights for 2020 and it was interesting because there were a number of things that were being said that would confirm some things that been Holy Spirit showing us several years ago in a in the early morning prayer meeting right here in the sanctuary there's a group of us praying and while others were praying I just quietly I closed my eyes and I was praying inwardly while they were praying vocally I was praying inwardly to the Lord and I asked the Lord I said Lord will you show me what's on your heart and what you want me to pray and when I prayed that I had a vision I didn't have a open vision it's another kind of vision like on the tablet of your heart it's like having a dream but you're awake and you could see images start passing before you're just like you're having a dream if I'm awake so what I saw was and I prayed I said Lord what do you want me to pray for I saw rain Rai n like rain coming down from heaven and man it was raining everywhere over Christians Christians everywhere were being rained on but what as I looked in the vision the rain was words they were the word of the Lord coming from heaven and landing on people and what those words were were answers to prayers and miracles and the land for example it would and I saw it happening in this dream vision I was awake I saw rain falling on Christian it was happening everywhere Christians were being rained on it'd be like this someone's going to the store and the rain hits him and the word of the Lord comes into their heart the past someone was sick and the word would be you're healed in Jesus name would come into their heart and the moment the word got into their heart they were full of faith they would just say the word and it would happen instantly someone what else would just be driving along and the word would hit him and say today your brother will be saved they say today my brother will be saved they'd be saved that day so I saw rain just falling words falling everywhere and people were hearing the voice of God and saying it and it was happening instantly I said Lord where is this in the scripture if if I have a vision or a dream or revelation I'll ask the Lord where is it in the Bible because the Lord can always give you a scripture that confirms his revelation I said Lord where is this I've never heard of it raining words and instantly the Holy Spirit took me to Isaiah 55 and God said as the rains come down on the earth and water the ground and it brings forth seed and bread for people to eat so shall my word it shall not return to me void but it will accomplish that which I send it to do and the Lord said I rain down my word on the earth and it accomplishes what I want it to do so it's important that our tongues be sanctified so we can receive the rain of the Holy Spirit and speak the Oracles of God amen by the way it wasn't long after that brother said dude was here for one of our conferences and we were in my office and I was sharing with him that vision I had and he was intrigued and encouraged because he said he had become not too long ago he'd been in Louisiana and he said four angels appeared to him in his room while he was waiting on the Lord and they came to talk to him about the next coming revival that was coming and they said it was a gonna be a prophetic outpouring and he said what you just described to me is what the four angels told me the next revival would be but the people were Christians everywhere we're just hearing the word of the Lord and they were saying it and miracles were just happening they weren't even saying like Oh Lord heal this person they'd say be healed be saved come out the money's here the waters part every kind of miracle it was raining the Word of God number 10 present our bodies a living sacrifice we can do that by the Holy Spirit we can say Holy Spirit take me I yield take over and last one number eleven the scripture that the Lord gave it alland was 2nd Peter chapter 1 verse 4 by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature and that's the words the Lord emphasized partakers of the divine nature the divine nature is love and we're to be partakers of that and some of the other scriptures Al and wrote down with us or John 14 10 jesus said the words I speak to you I don't speak on my own but the father who dwells in me does the works so we have to learn to abide in Christ so it's not us who's doing it but Christ in us we need to be filled with his love his spirit his nature so that it's him that's flowing out of us so those are 11 points the Lord gave to a Allen said that he should be consecrate himself to these consecrate yourself he said if you do my power will manifest in your ministry this is open for all of us help us Lord we can do this few years ago I had a dream and I never preached up here but when we have our August conference we put this pulpit up here because brother said two is shorter so everybody can see him up there he that's how we do it in my dream I was the pulpit was up here and I was standing up there and I was standing at the pulpit all of a sudden a big angel I would say eight feet tall eight or nine feet tall came and stood right over here on the platform he stood next to me and I didn't move I was like excited I said I said in my heart he said Lord is that the breakthrough angel he's gonna come and bring us breakthrough then I heard a voice in her voice the Holy Spirit the dream said no he sent to help bring the church to consecration he said first you must consecrate and then the breakthrough comes so that was my dream so then I kid you not it wasn't very much later maybe a month later brother said to was up here the Pope was up here he was ministering at our conference at the end like he typically does it some of his messages he said let's all pray he's so he boughs we pray while he prays he said right now he pointed a bit now I I'm glad I told our church I pointed to the spot where I saw the angel and I told our church what I saw before brother said who got here so they know it's a confirmation he said right now he said I see an angel standing right here he pointed the same spot it's a big angel he same same thing he says been sent to this church to help this church consecrate to God and after the consecration will come the breakthrough so that's where we're at God has to bring us to this the consecration when we seek the Lord I've done it I've done it this way so don't anybody take it think like I'm making fun of anybody or scolding anybody I'm not I've done it this way because I've been I've been a Christian 42 years and I've sought the Lord a lot I've walked the floor I prayed in tongues I fasted I've sought the Lord and I there's times that you can seek him the wrong way you have the wrong mindset the wrong mindset is like this Lord come on Lord I'll come pour your spirit out you know I'm ready for you thinking like I've got everything lined up it's just the Lord what's taking him does anybody ever had those prayed like that before like come on Lord I'm shaking you as if like I've got everything right and I'm just waiting for him to show up but that's not the that's not seeking the Lord the Lord's eager to manifest when we seek the Lord the way we seek Him as Lord what do I need to do to come into agreement with you what needs to change in me that's seeking the Lord that's why the consecration is what God's it's a work he's doing and I believe God's been doing that work in this church for the last few years and he's bringing us to this consecration to this place he's gonna raise up a people that walk in the power of God to be delivers that makes sense when we seek the Lord seeking the Lord isn't like Lord where are you come on maybe if I if I don't eat for food for a few days you'll show up if I fast that's not it it's like seeking the Lord means Lord what do I need to know what do I need to change hello do I need to go what adjustments do I need to make that's seeking Him praise the Lord so I thank God for this revelation aelon received from the Lord I want to want to say this I don't know anybody I don't know anybody in America today or in the last 30 or 40 years I that walks in the level of powered Al and was walking in I know some people have occasionally miracles like that aelon was in the flow all the time it every every where he went the creative miracles salvation delivered dead raised I don't know anybody that's walking in the level of power he's walking we need to step up to this I need to I'm pressing into it we need to we need to see you and I believe that a lot of people I believe God has all kinds of people that are hungry thirsty seeking consecrating and we're gonna see God pull the veil back and we're gonna see all kinds of people come out of where that are consecrated and anointed by God amen
