congratulations you made your way through the Hoenn region save the world from destruction and have taken the title of champion from Steven Stone but what happens next zombies zombies happen next welcome to Pokemon snakewood a truly insane rom hack set in a post-apocalyptic home region just three years after the events of Ruby and Sapphire this game has new Pokemon forms a completely new storyline revolving around demons and Dragons alright there's a lot to unpack here so let's get into it It's Quickly uncovered from the opening scene that we've lost our memory and there's something odd going on with the Pokemon in the region we remember our name is wraith and then come to in what appears to be little root town or at least what's left of it outside the ruins of Birch's lab I find three pokeballs on the ground which are our starter options of ball toy coughing in Paris I'm only gonna be using new Pokemon or ones that have new Evolutions in this run so our starter doesn't matter I grab coughing and as we step out of the destroyed town we see Birch being chased but not by the usual poochiana all right getting right into the apocalypse coughing is able to take out the zombies boil bassour without too much trouble and then it disintegrates Birch later gives us an egg and tells us that three years ago our brother defeated the Homan League he and may went West a few weeks back to try and stop the Zombie Plague but nobody has heard from them since we're now tasked with the mission to find them and help put a stop to the undead before heading out I catch our first two actual team members poochiana and Zigzagoon as we leave town We're stopped by this girl with the trainer titled death caller that can't be good it takes both our mods to get through her Sneasel and as she takes her leave we find out her name is Alicia while making our way to petalburg we fight off hordes of zombies with diseased Pokemon like polyhag rotmander and oozle Heidelberg is in just as bad shape as little root but at least we loot this dead woman for lefties this stranger tells us he saw our brother in May a while back heading for pedoberg woods and were forced to book it away from this horde poor guy never stood a chance we add slack off to our team in the woods and then beat half a Hound hour and a dirt Crow then the demon trainer crumbles and drops us a stone badge triggering our first flashback about our brother Landon maybe if we keep taking out zombies we'll be able to piece our past back together I take it we'll be seeing a lot of death in this game after beating this Duo of shrivel sword and intro light we finally make it to rustboro oh hi kid not a kid while exploring the city my egg finally hatched into an egg and now it's time to take on Alicia again who tells us she summoned the demons in the forest and is working for someone called lord gravetric after beating her new team of Sableye Shepherd and Sneasel she gives away that her base is invert in Turf town as we proceed we run into a man who is someone disguised as a zombie working for him they mentioned that they're going to stop a summoning and roster of tunnel so I follow along the man seems to recognize me but when I tell him I lost my memory he introduces himself as glyce and says he mistook me for someone else before allowing me to help him exercise demons he decides to test me in battle his face leech is strong and has speed boost but after yawning it to sleep I find out it's incredibly frail dropping to a single Zigzagoon headbutt before heading to the cave I ground my team up to level 18 where Poochyena evolves into Mightyena and slack off into vigorol now we have another flashback recognizing this girl as the cut man's daughter she's being used as a summoning portal for demons so as glyce attempts to close it it's my job to fight off the hell spawn who try to push through oh wow after beating two of these guys in their anariths glyce seals the portal killing the girl I guess we're throwing morality out the window we arrive in the Wasteland that was once verdant Turf town and after another flashback where face to face with Alicia's boss pestilence she reveals herself as one of the four horsemen of the apocalypse and the one responsible for destroying our hometown and causing our memory loss the demon then immediately challenges us to a battle claiming she needs to tie up Loose Ends her lead is Mulder a disease-type grimer and I send in vigoroth after yawning our scratch gets disabled so I'm forced to make a swap to Zigzagoon when her lead is one hit from Fanning she uses a full restore all that did was prolong the inevitable as we spam headbutts until eventually getting the kill her next molder goes down to vigoroth's scratches but it does manage to land toxic on Airman last is a quill fish which big Roth yawns before going down to a water gun plus toxic damage mightiana comes in to redeem her friend and despite procking poison point she's able to win the battle with a few clicks of bite as the pair takes off Alicia apologizes for not recognizing me and then says that she works for the horsemen and will be forced to fight me next time we meet with May's Pokedex now in hand we need to find our way to do for Town luckily this dead guy had a Magikarp that was holding the HM for surf but we still need the balance badge from the closed down pedalberg gym to use it on the beach outside of rosborough we find a Survivor from the gym who'll battle me for a badge she leads a zangoose which sword stances to plus six and just lives through three headbutts on one HP luckily it only uses Fury cutter which even with the Boost doesn't kill so Zigzagoon can get the first K up next is Adele caddy which is always annoying to deal with I put it to sleep with vigoroth and then Zigzagoon finishes the job earning us the badge before heading South I catch a quill fish and Zigzagoon evolves into lie noon the new doofer gym leader haruko asks us to investigate the solar Caverns before accepting our gym battle we catch a soul Rock finally completing our team of six and Venture deeper into the cave then we're ambushed by a Charizard we remember that this is actually meteor The Dragon King he says that our contract is over and he's aligned himself with the horsemen then we jump into battle oh he's shiny wait he's a trainer quillfish has a good run against the dragon using minimizes when he can and chipping away with headbutts but eventually goes down to dragon breath linuin is able to clean things up with one more crack of the skull and then meteor flees we report back to haruko who now accepts our gym challenge leading with a poochiana against vigoroth after furiously swiping the pooch to its grave were greeted by Absol vigoroth misses her next attack and as the dark type uses Swords Dance I decide to take the risky play of encoring next I yawned the disaster Pokemon and a 4-hit fury swipes just isn't enough to take it out as The Encore ends but now it's asleep harico heals up but two more uses of our only attacking move are enough for a second knockout carvano wastes its life bulking up and never attacking as vigoroth gets another KO under her belt sneezel is next who also gets put to sleep then I swapped a quill fish and eventually after two more heals were able to knock the sharp claw Pokemon out with surfs this brings out the leader's Ace luxray who's an electric dark type in this game I cycle through a few Pokemon while continuously putting the dog to sleep with vigorov eventually we take it out and then a level one king madio hits the field ah Wonder guard that's the gimmick here I waste the rest of vigoroth's moves until she struggles finally ending this incredibly long battle and earning us gym badge number three one of the locals tips us off that landed in May left here to head for the desert above Slateport so we know our next destination in the seaside Cottage we take down a chef who's been driven to Insanity by one of the four horsemen famine after dealing with an onslaught of these malnourished Cooks we end up on the SS cangrejo with second in command Usher I agree to help repair the engine so that we can get out of Slateport so I head lower into the sub we find the Arc Light spanner and a cabinet and use it to fix a loose nut on the engine then also drops us off on Route 110. after destroying a pair of zombies Mightyena evolves into his newest form this is a Rourke or I guess in this game he's called Giga wolf as we Traverse through the route we fight off a bunch of guys with long purple hair calling themselves the Inquisition upon arrival at Marvel glyce informs us that the Inquisition is now the home and government working to fight off the zombies their leader Chloe shows up and orders the zombies to return to where they came from golice explains that as a Taoist like himself she has control over some of the undead he then explains that he's being haunted by her government as they believe he's the one responsible for the zombie outbreak he tasks us with heading to new mauville where the survivors are taking shelter dantalion tells us that there's been a murder here and it's not zombie related people are suspecting the chef since they think he's under famine's control and there are burn marks on the victim's body however in a true Law and Order SVU twist we prove him innocent and uncover the true murderer to be none other than the gym leader Watson when we confront the electric leader he confesses claiming he works with the Inquisition now as we try to take him into custody he quotes that his generator Powers up his Pokemon oh to level 100 we take a quick L and then after turning the power off in new mauville the real battle begins we clean up his team pretty easily until his Ace Riku comes out after sacking gigawolf we get a free swap to vigoroth which I use to yawn line noon then gets a tail whip and a head butt off before being dropped so it's back to vigoroth unfortunately she gets powered then flinched so we don't get another sleep on the legendary before fainting a combined team effort ends in mystery egg connecting an egg bomb for the kill giving us the win as Watson tries to escape the officer we were working with lets us know he's been captured in the ryku released all's well that ends well in the gym an inquisition member tells us they've captured glyce and he runs off with the Dynamo badges we give Chase and end up at the island of calm where our mystery egg evolves into secret egg in order to gain access to the inquisition's headquarters we need to find and defeat their deadly seven these are the most annoying characters in any Pokemon game period there are actually 10 of them they all speak incoherent nonsense and were forced to deal with them way too often anyway when I finally take the afro freaks down we find the secret base and begin our mission to rescue lice this place is full of puzzles and traps like this one where you have to find the perfect sequence of tiles to get through the boardroom and it's completely a guessing game after beating up on some grunts or quillfish evolves into our first truly new form quill shark when I finally make it to glice he seems to be in danger but tells us the liquid around him is just orange Aid he asks us to retrieve his stolen Pokey gear so he can blast us out of The Hideout we find the inquisitions Dr malfeasance who battles us using glyce's team after taking them out he returns the poker gear and hands over a Dynamo badge bringing our total to four glyce then teleports us out of The Hideout but not before sharing the HM for rock smash so we can continue our journey into the desert where famine has set up shop before confronting him we're hit with another flashback it appears Alicia was with us the day little root was destroyed hopefully we get answers soon after taking out the chef's standing guard famine alludes that we once worked for Lord gravetric along with the rest of them that's about all we uncover before he orders Alicia to battle us and he takes his leave her team is beaten fairly easily and then she leaves us alone yet again answerless our next stop is the shakia monastery where we're asked to go back to the desert to help the sage Azumi fight off a monster it turns out to just be a shiny Aerodactyl which quill shark destroys and then it's back to the monks the Inquisition has taken over their Monastery and wouldn't you know it's the deadly seven again at least they're good for leveling with vigoroth hitting 36 and evolving into another new form vagorlin this thing is a psychic normal type with pretty insane stats she'll be carrying hard at the peak of their Mountain we see Chloe battling famine he easily defeats her and then says he'll fight me when he's better prepared we speak with Chloe who tells us that glyce is an even bigger threat than the four horsemen as he works for a master who's launching his own invasion of hohen we conclude that Goliath hasn't really helped us in any way and consider teaming up with the Inquisition instead Chloe tells us to meet her at her house outside fall Arbor town so we continue on before leaving we speak with elder Longway where we discover we have an ability called Second Sight allowing us to see things invisible to most people after defeating his Wobbuffet and Celebi he gives us the yellow Vespa which we can use to ride up mudslides in Fall Arbor we run into Alicia who tells us she's defecting from the horsemen then we're finally told that we were once a death caller as well working for Lord gravetric King of the underworld however the four horsemen deposed the king and had assumed they killed both Alicia and myself when she thought she was the only Survivor she didn't know where else to turn and ended up working for the new rulers we also learned that meteor and I made a contract the dragons would fight alongside us against the horsemen and in return I would get Lord gravetric to release the dragon princess who he was holding hostage Alicia tells us that our next course of action is to Ambush the horsemen at their base in Meteor Falls and prepares to meet us there at Chloe's house we hatch a plan for Alicia and I to take down the horsemen while the Inquisition keeps the zombies at Bay for us on Route 114 I catch a zangoose who I add to the team in place of our egg now let's take on some demons as we approach pestilence and famine we find Alicia already with them she then reveals that there was never an Alicia and that she's actually War of the Four Horsemen apparently the dark lord of the East wanted to capture me so the horsemen planned to get me first they faked my death and planted fake memories in my head but before they could get me I met up with Birch famine also tells us that meteor's mission was to find out why the Eastern forces were after me but there's been no progress on that front after declaring we're the strongest in Hoenn War steps up to battle us she leads Sableye against my Giga wolf the ghost dark type protects stalls and does a little damage with Shadow swipes before going down to a few bites next is Bennett who's actually a ghost fighting type in this game I swapped to the gorlin who gets paralyzed by glare next turn our leftovers are knocked off but we break through paralysis for a one shot with extra sensory I swap back to Zoroark against weevile and after getting intimidated off the resisted Shadow swipe doesn't do much two eyes punches bring us down to 10 HP but a plus one four times effective rock smash is strong enough to take the Speedster down dust collapse is up next and thanks to a Flinch we're able to connect two bytes before being taken out I bring quill shark in and after being stalled by a few endures he gets the KO with surf now War reveals a giga wolf of her own our poison fish is able to bring it into the red with a few serps but sororic reveals earthquake which gets a two shot I decided to go to zangoose next and click Fury cutter but it isn't enough for a kill after taking big damage from crunch I continue stacking the move as our next one gets The Knockout unfortunately Gengar is the last Pokemon which easily out speeds us and gets a sludge bomb KO I bring the gorlin back and after getting paralyzed her first turn she survives the second sludge bomb on 4 HP extra sensory leaves the ghost with just a sliver as we're outsped and taken out fortunately War doesn't use any potions so next turn saw Rock comes in Dodges a hypnosis and wins the battle with confusion just then death shows up and scolds the rest of the horsemen for tampering with the activities in the human world he banishes them back to the underworld and then as he threatens to take my life we jump into the water ending up back on the SS King greyjo after fixing the service elevator for Usher he brings us to fortree city where we'll need to backtrack to the weather Institute to confront glyce we defeat him handedly and then he returns meteor's daughter to us who's actually still an egg she says that even on born she's a powerful psychic but the thunderstorms in this area blocked her ESP while fighting some zombies in the area we get a pop-up that Lai noon is evolving what the heck is this what kind of messed up Rayquaza Fusion am I looking at whatever guess we've got a dragon type now we also meet Dr Blackthorn who claims to be an interested party in our Rescue of the Dragon princess after battling a few trainers with weird Pokemon we learned that they're from another world where they fight with electric monsters called denju is this a reference to some other game I genuinely have no idea anyway we tell them that we'll help return them to their world and go off to explore Mount pyre at the peak of the mountain we meet temuence who tells us he works for the Eastern Dark Lord with glyce after beating his three denju he fixes the portal back to the denju world and then it's back to fortree to take on the gym Birch calls to let us know that the leader Winona was taken and ever since her brother veracity has gone a little crazy while conducting my investigation secret egg who I added back to the team in place of Zoroark evolves into its final form hyper egg I can actually give this thing any evolution stone to make it become a wide variety of different legendaries but I decided to keep it as an egg because well it's funny in the four true Film School of veracity tells us that researchers have built an autonomous camera which is now slaughtering them meet x32763 yup I'm battling a camera with Pokemon and it actually gets caught in a ball cool this thing is an electric Steel type with pretty insane stats and a really good move pool but I decide not to use it because honestly it seems too good now that we've stopped the camera veracity has returned to the gym so we can finally challenge him but what we find when we get there isn't exactly expected when Nona has been turned into a zombie and chained up in the gym determined to put her to rest we jump into battle she leads with a dirt crew that Soul rock is eventually able to take out with a rock slide next is grim reaper who's also weak to rock but out speeds and drops Soul rock with Shadow swipe Dragoon comes out next and is able to beat the diseased Scyther with a pair of fire pumps then Winona sends out the evolved iron gripper who misses cross chop and also drops the two flamethrowers last up is scar Lugia and this thing is trouble after aeroblasting our Dragon into the dirt I bring the gorlin in to yawn the corrupted legendary it starts using cosmic power which doesn't bode well for us after a calm mind I use extra sensory which is unfortunately resisted I decide to swap into zangoose and start building Fury Cutters but I guess Lugia is still a psychic flying type because I'm neutral after seeing how abysmal the damage is I decide to try to get a defense drop with Crush claw before going down to more aeroblasts eventually it all comes down to my hyper wreck against the Behemoth this is where I hatch my master plan hypereg has an insane amount of HP and defense it also has very low PP moves And Eruption water spout and egg bomb see where this is going I waste all my PP and soft boil up to full health while Lugia continues to spam its last move cosmic power now it's struggle time baby the legendary actually ends up struggling too and in this war of attrition our egg comes out on top before destroying Winona completely veracity runs in and tells us he won't let us forcing us into another battle he leads Psy Pig against the gorlin who after being put to sleep is killed by soulrock not before landing a big fire blast though against Flareon I swapped a hyper egg to eat quick attack and then after getting burned by fire pump I chip away with water spout I go to Dragoon next who resists the fire pump spam in order to kill with some digs Ninetales is next up and after hitting a super effective skull breaker We Do 50 with dig next turn Dragoon goes down so I bring in quill shark who Dodges hypnosis and finishes the fox with surf now veracity Reveals His Ace Ho-Oh I bring the gorlin into a resisted psychic and after yawning the bird we Dodge sacred fire next we get extra sensory to do a bit of damage but this time the fire attack lands after slacking off to get HP back I bring Soul Rock in to rock slide the legendary I let our psychic Rock go down to Blaziken which gives me a free switch back to the gorlin she yawns and slacks off through two sky uppercuts and then sets up three combines from here it just takes two more extra sensories to knock out the fire starter and veracity's last Pokemon torkel the leader then tells us he tries to kill Winona every day but since she's his sister he can't bring himself to do it he then gives us the sacred sword made from hollow's fire which is capable of slicing through any evil we finally put his sister to rest and then veracity runs off with one of the citizens of the city handing us the fifth badge next I fought this Abomination before being stopped by the deadly seven yet again after beating them in 10 consecutive battles I'm finally allowed to enter Lily Cove then an inquisition grunt battles me telling me that the government has betrayed me shocker as I confront Chloe about this I'm ambushed by more Inquisition members however as things look Bleak the dragon's Han and visigoth come to back me up after defeating Chloe her Alakazam used his teleport to escape the dragons tell me that Dr Blackthorn told meteor that we saved his daughter and that they'll take us to Fort Draco in Boss deep well Nurse Joy looks a little different I bring the princess back to meteor and in return he gives us the HM for fly Blackthorn also tells us that the Eastern forces have moved into Lily Cove looking for me before heading back I go to the Dragon's gym where meteor awaits our challenge after sweeping his team of dragons with plus six extra sensories the king Awards us a knight's emblem back in the Lily Cove department store we run into glyce but we'll skip the battle since most of his Pokemon were knocked out by this member of the deadly seven next is a battle with tembulance and this time he actually uses Pokemon after four combines his team of Gyarados hirayama Machamp and Entei all go down to extra sensory on the roof we finally meet senix the dark lord of the East he unmakes Asimov The Leader of the deadly seven who I guess are actually called the order of the afro and then says he's been after me because he wants my eyes we jump into battle leading turmer against byzantgoose I start building Fury cutter with an unfortunate Miss after three as the mushroom uproars after Crush clawing I go down and then bring in the gorland I calm mine to plus six then make easy work of the fungus the ghost normal type shideru and the dragon ice type Luca zamon side note the only reason I went for the cheesy combine strategy is because I had lost my first attempt at this battle Cenex then gets away and a doll one of the deadly seven confirms that they're actually a group known as the order of the afro they fight using a form of combat called hijiki or fighting with lunacy which explains their usual brand of Ridiculousness they were only working with the Inquisition because it seemed the easiest way to get to senix he also tells us that senix's layers in tsutopolis where they had tried helping my brother battle him in order to gain more strength adults suggests we take on the Elite Four before continuing on our journey but first I evolved Soul rock using a moonstone into the new galactamon which is also lunatone's Evolution when exposed to a sun stone then in Victory Road zangoose evolves into its new form the normal fighting zangol anyone else getting Kamina Vibes anyway at the gates to the league the guards tell me that since I have six Badges and whatever the knights emblem is they think it's good enough to enter so here we go first is the fighting type user Caitlyn she leads hiroyama and I immediately switch his angle out for galactamon who takes vital throw pretty well now I can fuse the big hand Pokemon right out of belly drum range but thanks to its leftovers it survives our next attack I cosmic power on the heel turn then two more confusions with rock slide between get the kill next is blazikin who out speeds and drops our planet with Sky uppercut I go into quill shark and surf but Blaziken survives and uses bright idea which is the same thing as nasty plot on the heel turn I decide to headbutt so next turn one more surf gets the KO now Machamp comes in and after being served at scary faces making a shark slower earthquake does big damage as we hit headbutt and next turn another round of Tremors takes us out this does however allow me to go to the gorlin and extra sensory for the kill Caitlyn's berloom goes down to one of the same and then she sends in her Ace kenshukuo luckily this one dies to a single extra sensory because they all have speed boost and I've had enough headaches from them throughout this playthrough the second member of the Elite Four in this game is Benny the flying type master he leads Tropius as I send out Dragoon turn one fire pump manages to burn the banana tree which connects sleep powder on our Dragon I stay in and eat some attacks until Dragoon finally wakes up and kills with a second fire pump now Altaria hits the field so I click outrage we survive two earthquakes with 8 HP as the Cloudy bird falls to our Dragon stab of course Benny also has to have a kenshukuo we get cross chopped for a kill but then next turn the fighting flying type misses so vagorlon gets yawned off for free after surviving the powerful move on 8 HP I calm mind and slack off twice to get to full unfortunately our opponent wakes up here and hits another cross chop but yet again we survive and this time take it out with our plus one extra sensory I thought I was safe to heal against swellow but it actually had quick attacks so that's it for our hard carry I go to galactamon who after tanking wing attack Rock slides for a kill leaving Benny with only a peloper turned one at Mrs storm surge as we connect another rock slide for 60 percent next term we aren't so lucky is the Pelican washes our planet away with the powerful water type move I really don't want to put this thing in healing range so after a turn of protect his angle rips a stab Hyper Beam for our second win why did glacia have to be the only member that wasn't changed it's like the Creator knows she's my kryptonite Zangle starts off hot by Brick breaking her glaly wall rain and Weavile for kills but then the defensive wall Cloister hits the field I swapped a hyper egg to tank Crystal Storm and then eat ice beams until connecting egg bomb to see what the damage looks like after soft boiling to full our egg gets frozen by the shellfish I decided to let it go down so I can bring vogorland in for free our psychic type uses a combine while tanking Ice Beam then gets The Knockout with extra sensory all that's left for the ice type Master now is her Ace Articuno thankfully the AI was Dumb and used mind reader twice in a row instead of mind reader sheer cold which caused my first attempt at this battle to be a loss with the legendary asleep and the gorlin at plus 3 special it still took two extra sensories to get the kill but at least we're through glacia the last member of the league is indigo the electric type Master he leads luxray as I send out Dragoon out speeding for dig were unfortunately met with earthquake which absolutely decimates our Dragon next I go to zangol who Ko's the lead with two brick breaks but she was hit by a crit discharge in the process now Zapdos comes out as I decide to let it take zangol down with drill Peck before bringing in galactamon he survives a ThunderBolt from the legendary bird but even a crit rock slide isn't enough to kill knowing there will be a heel I can't take my foot off the gas we've rock slide once more for 40 and then get dropped by a second t-bolt now it's time for vagorlund to do her thing we outspeed the bird so on the turn we yawn Indigo actually uses agility this means we just need to tank one Thunderbolt before we can start combining I use a slack off and set up twice before being blocked by a wake up detect then Zapdos critic Drill Pack nearly taking our Ace down luckily for us she lived through the attack and fired back with a plus two extra sensory for The Knockout against his third Pokemon Raichu we slack off to full HP while tanking Thunderbolt and dodging iron slam our extra sensory isn't enough to KO the rat so on the heel turn I Calm Mind once more now we can one shot the Pikachu wannabe but we're still not strong enough for the okon Ampharos who in turn Thunder waves us I rinse and repeat with a calm mind on the heel and an extra sensory kill leaving the electric type user with only a Zeb Striker vogorland sniffs her way through double team and connects another psychic blast giving us a well-earned victory with our brother missing I wonder who the champion is Fang lay huh no idea who this is oh he's the hajiki king guess he taught the order of the afro he'd lead to hit montab as I send out galactamon after an aerialist chips away at us a crit psychic is enough to take the top down next the king sends out a rock lobster galactamon tanks a crab hammer and charges up solar beam then I find out this thing is dragon and not water so what I thought would be a four times effective attack was actually just neutral after going down to Dragon claw I bring Dragoon into avenge his friend without hesitation I click outrage and we actually get a crit for our Second Knock Out of the battle next is the most terrifying Pokemon on this team ramshaker the normal psychic type eats up our outrage then uses bright idea to boost its special attack after a second outrage the bovine is now at plus 4 special attack and we're confused Dragoon hits himself in confusion and then a try attack finishes him off so I send him my tried and true the gorlin after yawning we tank try attack and then slack off as a not very effective plus four psychic still does big damage and drops our spa death I decide to put my faith in sleep as I go to zangol who slashes twice and then to get the guarantee kill she rips off a Hyper Beam from one cow to the next Fang Lei sends in a buffalint which swords dances as our fighting type recharges however the stand-in Champion gets greedy and goes for another boost as we brick break for just over half the buffalo's health next turn one more strong chop gets the kill and zangol still stand strong oh we've seen this before let me spare you the trouble and just jump to where our egg struggles for the kill the final Pokemon is a literal orange but for some reason it's a dark fire type and not grass I've decided it's best to let hypereg struggle to death so we can get a finish off his evil fruit and be crowned the new Elite Four champion even though we've been registered in the system we still have business to take care of as we exit the league we tell Birch that Landon and may are supposedly at cynics's lair in suitopolis since zombies can't cross running water we surmise that there must be an underground tunnel we surf our way through the sludge of the Lily Cove sewers and finally end up at the necromancer's base or so we thought on the other side of the door are none other than glyce temuence in a zombie we actually run away this time but glyce gives Chase and then by using his Taoist Powers renders us unconscious we wake up in what appears to be our house and we think the events of the past have all just been a dream as we go downstairs for breakfast our mom turns into glyce in fact everyone seems to be turning into him even poor little Darren then in a flash of light we come to in the prison of necropolis cynics is Lair we try to escape only to run into this battle Zombie with level 100 Pokemon I actually managed to beat him which I don't think you're supposed to but either way he kicks me in the face and I pass out waking up in Pacific log town Dr Blackthorne tells us that he rescued us from the prison and that we must learn from this town's gym leader Esau had a fight without Pokemon so naturally we have a Pokemon battle he leads the gorlin against my galactamon and after eating a psychic I decide to cause with power as a double protect comes out I continue to boost my defenses now at plus three we trade a few psychics until I can take the lead down with a crit rock slide next up is Gyarados and in order to get a clean switch to vogorland I have to like galactum on faint to Surf our psychic type yawns as the Leviathan uses Fury dance which is just a renamed Dragon Dance next turn I swapped a hyper egg to eat a Hyper Beam and then it's right back to our Ace as Gyarados sleeps I combine twice then extra sensory gets a critical hit for The Knockout basculine drops to the same but unfortunately the man in the mirror's next Pokemon is spiritum which vogorland can't touch we yawn the ball of spirits then slack off to full and bring in quill shark after a few full restores from Issa were able to take the Ghost type out with a few clicks of surf bringing in kenshukuo after destroying my entire team the fighting type's attack was no match for hyper rake's defense tank and cross chops and Hyper beams until finally ending this battle with three egg bombs Esau says he'll train us and tells us to go to Sundance rock at midnight before disappearing back into the mirror we meet up with our master and have an awesome training montage where we learn to use sagely power well not exactly we comment on how dumb it is that we're just turning left and right to music then after stating that this world is stupid and that Esau is just a reference to the Book of Genesis he dies on our way out of the cave Birch calls us and says esab would be a great Ally in tracking down Landon in may we tell the Professor that we accidentally killed him and he says to do nothing if I ever need a guy to keep a secret I know who I'm going to next we meet back up with Blackthorn and he gives us a toxic croak which triggers a flashback of Landon giving us a crow Gunk as our first Pokemon sadly I won't be using him then I think we use the power of Christianity to teleport to pseudopolis I don't know anymore man this game has gone off the rails in the Pokemon Center we meet up with a combined Force calling themselves the resistance Birch Chloe meteor Steven and other influential figures of Hoenn abandoned together to put a stop to cynics I meet up with meteor Steven and Sage Izumi to launch an attack from a secret entrance we found to The Hideout you head into the incarceration chamber and after working our way through the puzzles therein find four people frozen in carbonite first we free Landon in May who just leave instead of helping us save the world then we completely ignore Wally and the last one ends up being the trick master I guess he's the only character wacky enough to pose a threat to senix as we progress deeper into the base Steven sets off an explosion to distract the zombies then Cutler in this romhack's Creator shatters the fourth wall and shows us that the other members of the resistance are being picked off by their opponents I work my way through an invisible floor puzzle and an onslaught of quiz questions that all need to be answered correctly in succession and they aren't exactly simple after painstakingly completing the puzzles I finally find myself face to face with cynics my friends have been suspended in carbonite and now the old man steps up for the deciding battle he leads with a face leech which hits iron slam on galactamon before dropping to psychic next to shaderu who I let take my lead out so I can bring in the gorlin I yawn and managed to dodge and attempt to paralyze me with glare now I swapped my egg to get powered and with the ghoul asleep I can start setting up with my Ace unfortunately this turns out to be a single turn sleeve so after one Calm Mind and another dodged glare we extra sensory for just under 50 percent dodging paralysis a third time we bring the shade into the yellow as it swaps the body slam for big damage the gorlin is able to use her psychic powers to get The Knockout and then Luka zamon hits the field at plus one extra sensory is a two shot on the legendary who misses blizzard between turns this just leaves the evil mastermind with his Ace charmer since we outspeed I can slack off to full health but a crit sludge bomb had other plans for Africa Roth evolution I go to Dragoon to try to get a fire pump burn but unfortunately he drops the sludge bombs before that can happen zangol's Shadow swiped a solid damage and knowing she won't survive a second sludge bomb I decided to use her strongest move oh wow hyper being killed after winning the Pokemon battle cynics claims he'll Erase Me from history one perfectly placed back to the future reference and Asimov returns from the dead to save me after he scares off glyce and temuence senix apparently bakes a cake Asimov tells us that by baking that cake hohen has been completely destroyed and the only survivors were those who caught the elevator him ourselves and cynics then the climactic moment of the story happens we make outdated pop culture references apparently by using these references we can restore Hoenn and defeat The Necromancer once and for all the next few minutes are just made up of nonsense but somehow were transported back to Hoenn in the state it was in before we stormed necropolis the resistance says that they'll be able to take care of the remaining zombies and we're invited to a celebration on Gem Island but I think this video is long enough without going into the post game what started as a straightforward adventure to save the Hoenn region from a plague of zombies turned into well I'm not exactly sure what I do know is that I loved seeing all the new Pokemon Sprites both regular and diseased and this game clearly had a lot of time and energy put into its creation I think ROM hacks and fan games are so much fun because you get to see a totally new level of creativity if you
