i'm making a raspberry cream pie i've got some chocolate cookies in the food processor and i'm just going to pulverize the crumbs until they're really really fine now i'm going to put the crumbs into a bowl i need to add some butter now it goes into the pie pan and i'll use my trusty hands to just press it in now i want the crust to set so i'm going to put it into a 350 degree oven just for about three to four minutes and while it's in there i'm gonna get to work on the raspberry filling for the pie i've got some fresh raspberries and i'll add three tablespoons of sugar i'm gonna mash the raspberries with the sugar i want to get all the big chunks mashed up so i'm going to get the pie crust out of the oven i'll let that cool and i'm going to finish up with the raspberry filling two containers of raspberry yogurt one of the best ingredients in this pie is a package of vanilla instant pudding so i'll sprinkle it over the yogurt i'm going to let the mixer start whipping this up now i've got a cup of cold heavy cream and i'm going to drizzle it in and i'm gonna turn up the speed and let it whip for another two minutes i'm gonna put the raspberries straight into the cream mixture gently fold it until it's all combined i like to stop short of getting it totally combined because i love the swirled look this goes into the crust now i'm going to put the pie into the freezer for about 20 minutes just to set the surface and it'll be all ready for dessert tonight [Music] to turn it into confetti cake batter i'm gonna add rainbow sprinkles a whole cup full which is a lot but this is a three layer cake i like to fold it in manually instead of putting it in the mixer sometimes the mixer can break up the sprinkles a little bit and cause a mess i'll get the same amount of batter give or take in each of the three pans cakes are ready to go into the oven they're going to bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes okay the cakes are baked and cooled i'll start by putting a cup of this absolutely beautiful buttercream right on top i sliced off the very top of each layer just to make sure the cake is super even now it's just about spreading each layer with frosting and coating the outside i spread about a cup of the frosting on each layer and build up through the cakes ending with the third one bottom side up to get a good flat surface then i spread the rest of the frosting over the top and sides of the cake that's it for the frosting now i'll move on to decorating i'm going to do a little special something with sprinkles i made a stencil with a t for todd and a c for caleb and i'll just set it carefully on top and grab the rest of the sprinkles that i didn't use and i'm gonna be really careful and sprinkle the sprinkles right inside the letters okay i'm just gonna lightly press to make sure the sprinkles stay put when i take the stencil off and i'll use a brush to just brush away the excess and then i'll grab the wax paper and carefully peel it off and we've got a sprinkly tee and a sprinkly see [Music] [Applause] [Music] so [Applause] [Music] [Music] i'm making a fresh herb pizza i've got three quarters of a cup of warm water and i sprinkled in half a teaspoon of yeast and then i'll add two cups of flour to the mixer half a teaspoon of kosher salt put the mixer on low and drizzle in a quarter cup of olive oil the yeast and water mixture should be good drizzle that in so i'll drizzle in a little bit of olive oil into a bowl okay the dough is really really sticky and it's supposed to be turn it around so it gets coated in olive oil now it just needs to rise for about an hour or so now the dough's been rising and i'm just gonna roll it out drizzle some olive oil onto a baking sheet pick up the dough plop it right on the sheet sprinkle on a little more olive oil sprinkle on a little salt and pepper mozzarella cheese all right that looks good the pizza is just going to bake at 500 degrees for about 12 to 14 minutes and it's gonna be perfect i have a package of arugula some beautiful basil some parsley just for a little extra freshness tiny drizzle of olive oil and an even tinier drizzle of balsamic vinegar put the greens all over the top now i'll cut this up just to finish it off plenty of grated parmesan it's time to eat [Music] [Music] [Music] good old ground beef becomes hearty meat pies can't argue with that i started by sauteing some veggies all that's in here are some onions and poblano peppers i've got a whole pile of garlic and for a little spice some crushed red pepper flakes the veggies are ready to come out of the pan to get the ground beef and i'm gonna season it with some salt and pepper cumin and a little bit of chili powder the meat's all browned i'm gonna add some tomato paste and some water and then it'll turn into a luscious sauce and the last thing to put in are the veggies the fillings done now i've just got to give it time to cool down while that happens i'll chop some parsley and grate some pepper jack cheese they go into the cooled beef mixture now it's on to the dinner rolls it just needs to be rolled into a four inch circle then the meat mixture goes in the center i'll fold the dough to form a half moon shape press the edges together crimp them with a fork and i'll brush them with egg wash and get them into the oven at 400 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes oh my oh my look at those beautiful babies i'm making chocolate peanut butter pie i tell ya if you love peanut butter this is your dessert i'm going to melt four tablespoons of butter in the saucepan 25 chocolate sandwich cookies now i'm just going to pulse these up don't worry about the creamy filling because it just totally disappears and becomes part of the crumbs now the butter is melted i'll just drizzle it in and then i'll just give it a couple of pulses and that is it pour the crumbs into the pie pan use your hands start pressing the center i'm just gonna stick the crust in a 350 degree oven for about five or seven minutes just to get it set okay the crust is done so i'll just let that cool while i make the filling the filling begins with a cup of creamy peanut butter an eight-ounce package of softened cream cheese and then i'll just whip this up for a sec i'll add a cup and a fourth of powdered sugar now i'll mix this together frozen non-dairy whipped topping i've been thawing it so it's nice and soft now i'll just mix this till it's really fluffy you'll definitely need to scrape the bowl a couple of times during the process because you want all the sugar all the peanut butter and all the whipped topping to be mixed together okay absolutely perfect now i'm just gonna put this into the cooled crust i tell ya if you love peanut butter this is your dessert and then i'll just spread it around look at that isn't that gorgeous now it just needs to sit in the fridge for a couple of hours until it's set [Music] hmm [Music] so [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] eggs in hash brown cups i've got eight potatoes that i baked at 400 for about 45 minutes or so i baked them until they were just tender they're totally cooled so they're really easy to grate all right i got all the potatoes grated which is a good thing because the grater is totally full so i'll just fish all of them out of there okay now this is a lot of potatoes so i'm gonna season them pretty well with plenty of salt and plenty of pepper all right now i've got two muffin pans i'm going to spray them really really well with cooking spray i'm going to take about three to four tablespoons of the potato mixture and put it into one of the muffin tins then i'll use my fingers to really really lightly press it so it goes around the sides it's a lot of nests all right i'm going to spray the tops really lightly with just a little more cooking spray all right i'm gonna pop these into a 450 degree oven for just about 15 or 20 minutes they're gonna start to get a little bit golden brown the hash brown cups should be ready these look good starting to get nice and crisp around the edges all right now i'm gonna let these cool all right i'm just gonna crack an egg and drop it into each cup all right now i'm just gonna sprinkle these with salt and pepper now these just need to go into a 400 degree oven for about 10 to 12 minutes i started with a frozen store-bought pound cake and i cut it into three slices i put one slice into a loaf pan that had been lined with plastic wrap then i covered that slice with a cup of vanilla ice cream i sprinkled on chopped peanut butter cups then put on a second slice of pound cake the next layer of ice cream was chocolate todd's favorite on top of that i sprinkled some chopped chocolate candies then the final layer of cake goes on top followed by a cup of chocolate chip ice cream and for the topping i squeezed chocolate sauce all over the top this is the kind that hardens as soon as it hits the ice cream then i sprinkled on the two candies i let it set for a few seconds and then i loosely folded the plastic wrap over the cake then i put it into the freezer to harden and i made a whole other cake this cake is so simple to make and i'll tell you how to serve it up so you take the cake out of the freezer lift it carefully out of the pan peel back the plastic wrap and voila ice cream cake look at all those layers of deliciousness this cake will make you very very popular you
