The Perfect One Story Cabin House - 2 Bed - 2 Bath - Amazing Floor Plan!

all right we are in Buda Texas at our Airbnb we've stayed here for two years now for a month at a time and it has become our inspiration for what our next cabin is going to be at our farm we call this the Frank house because the Airbnb owner here name is Frank we became good friends with them but just the absolute perfect floor plan I'm gonna walk you through it and kind of show you things that we'll do to ohioize this we have to make it a little bit more uh ready to handle the winter but as you see when you come in it's wide open it's one of the things we love about this at only 960 square feet it's 40 by 24. that Peak there goes to 14 but it makes you feel very wide open in here one of the things we're going to do is where that TV is we're going to put a stone fireplace at ours that'll go out it'll help Heat this in the winter time when it's in Ohio they use the concrete floors which you know we like to too we're going to do the same thing and heat those floors at our place so it'll be extremely energy efficient but when you walk in just just some things that right away that we love about this floor plan the back porch those are triple slider doors so they open all the way up when that is completely open you would not believe how big it feels in here and let me back up we have our computer while we're working here but nice little kitchen area uh for what we'll be able to do and also with that fireplace over here and then when you go out to the front porch another set of double doors which is really nice when you have these wide open you can go from front to back just really gives it a great cabin feel I'll go up again like I said we'll have the fireplace over there on ours a nice ceiling and then what we love to do when you come out here and I'll take you out and let you see a nice covered porch about 12 by 20. we'll probably keep that same footprint here and then come back to the kitchen um just love this it reminds me uh you know that open look that we have in our main barnominium at the house but so functional and so functional for cabin full refrigerator nice stove unit we'll probably do a different Hood Vin and ours because we'll go up through and maybe some cupboards and cabinets but I like the open look here it fits Texas perfectly and it's just great Frank actually made all the concrete countertops in here he's a amazing Craftsman and was nice enough to let us do this video we're pretty much going to mimic this minus the changes I'm talking about that we have to make for Ohio but let me show you it's two bedroom which is really nice when you think of that size we'll come down here this middle section right here is a barn door as you can see hides off this will be the laundry room they've got a double stack washer and dryer here plenty of space in here what we're going to do with this room here is put a little wash tub in it looks like they may even be doing that down there and then also this will be our control room for our on-demand heat and our hot water master bedroom right to the right uh nice big tall doors we're going to do the same thing love these tall Windows they've got great views out to the Texas landscape here nice plenty of size for a king size bed again I like the upper windows in here how they did this I think for us to make this even Cozier for Ohio we may put another small gas fireplace or even electric fireplace in here and then each bedroom has its own bathroom for 960 square feet it's really kind of phenomenal when you think about it nice uh open area in there a full shower as you go back and then a closet so lots of storage space lots of area for the master just really unbelievable go and check out the other bedroom like I said just so much for a small floor plan that's fit in uh we were talking to Frank the other day and just saying you know this is just unbelievable we've lived in it so it's a little bit easier for us to understand how how amazing it is another plenty of room in here in this uh smaller bedroom but it's not smaller by much just a few feet it's got its own closet as well pretty deep in there too again I like this closet space that they've added just makes it look really really nice concrete floors we're going to love because we like to do that anyway and it just makes it easy to keep clean and then um your own bathroom again in here I'll come around so you can see the other side of it it's really really really impressive how much is fit into this small floor plan shower there and vanity so again about 960 square feet 24 by 40. we're going to do a couple things to add uh as I like to say ohioize it but we'll have plans for our project up and a story on our blog here soon at Old World garden farms we hope to build this this summer so we'll have a live walk through video of our place when it's all done at the end of this summer
