hello everybody great steel blades and we're here checking out a game for the channel called stranded deep and when I say checking it out I mean I'm playing it because it's amazing and I never ended up playing it so strandings been out for a while I think since 2015 right it was back in the heyday of survival games when all those survival games were coming out and they were all in early access obviously they're all still in early access the forest stranded deep the long dark long guard starting to come out of early access but it's still mostly there so one of the things that you asked about is to play stranded deep I loved raft and you guys loved raft and we all loved raft and that was a great time that's an experimental build by the way so this is pre new build just came out I think on the 19th um and then ever since I did ice-t-- I was like man I just just for a little bit I just want to play another survival game because the thing I love okay so before I ever did the YouTube thing I used to watch some YouTube and I loved watching survival games because they're always different and people were getting poisoned and being sad holy jesus all right I didn't know it would start up quite like that I thought maybe it would let me like say that we were going to generate a random world or something so I all right yep that's awesome pretty loud I'm not going to lie but to prepare we are going down in an airplane so I kind of expect it to be somewhat loud there goes the wine bottles well Hashem acrossing ttan your money ain't going to say Mia now brother only I can get that bottle of wine that Glenn oh no that's okay and we are met with darkness ow eardrums getting blown out yep want to go into the water most people I don't have to hear it so I assume I swim out of here whoo there's a hole right here how lucky is that is there a sprint to this I will talk more about my findings in just a moment once I at least get to the sera all right well I'm going to say once I get to the life raft that was conveniently placed right in front of me until the entire jet blew up so much for man I just like you just pay off your private jet and there you go oh I started side of life rap um hold a okay oh hi alright hold it you to interact oh there we go so oh you just you just kind of like use your your powers of mouse leanness and it moves you that's excellent alright sucky life raft take me to the closest okay I would like to learn two islands directly across from one another like a Starbucks in a Starbucks okay so anyway what I was going to say before I got my ass kicked can I jump out of this or yep sure ken oh and you don't have to take the paddle with you that's nice just sit there life raft don't go anywhere was that I wanted to get into another another of these games and I love the survival games because it's always a little bit different other something's that everyone's going to do everyone's always going to be like probably beating up coconuts and like I don't know crushing up and snorting pills or taking morphine or something like that because the survival game but you never know crazy things could happen I I live in a place like this so this is all very very familiar press C to open up the crafting menu oh Christ hi stone tools kindling while there's a lot of stuff alright yeah a little bit more stuff than draft now I have never ever ever played this game I've watched people play it like I said but I have never played it what is yelling at me friggin seagulls oh it's my brethren guys great it's me No all right you little scumbags so crap the stone tool I assume there is a recipe to rocks sure and as normal like any survival games you can find rocks just laying around I love it so already I feel somewhat within my element right now now you just click on it and that's it yep sure do so I imagine there is a menu around here somewhere is it tab it is tab alright so very very long darkish okay so some of that experience is coming into play so we've got a stone tool what else does want a refined knife I'm assuming that slightly better than snow to it so here you need sticks and lashing sticks and lashing alright now I remember watching people would like slice these up or something like that and get some lashings out all their sticks laying on the ground man how lucky can you get six other a lashes later I got this crab over here is grab it it look at the crab and got to stick over here sup they're little crap you little scum back here can I stab you with this or do I have to get down low get down low for the crap yeah you just hang out right there crab I'll be back for you later I'm pretty sure that there's plant it's gotta be this right yes I can hear the plant dying as I stab it repeatedly that has to be it oh the other thing I'll the reason I want to play this game is I'm getting really really hyped up for the upcoming update for raft which looks like friggin amazing and adds a ton of stuff you haven't seen it go to the is the called raft survival game on twitter the guy puts out like all the different updates and stuff like that it looks freakin amazing so over here refined night we got the stick we got okay so what we need for lashing I just click on this and things happen randomly oh we need many many fibrous leaves so if you're used to seeing someone who's like this like giant pro at stranded deep who just comes in and built a base and they're like the king of the universe and like 20 minutes that is not gonna be me I learned things pretty quick but what the hell am I getting sunburned ah there's sunburn in this thing son of a [ __ ] alright I guess we'll have to sit in the shade then ah well that sucks ass alright well we're fine knife yay I think do I have a better a fine knife now let's go ahead and that is a hook I don't want that oh there's like hey oh there's like a quick crafting menu I got it so now our knife went from a rock that slightly sharp to a rock that slightly sharp held between two pieces of wood was from lashing around it freakin amazing I love it campfire what would that be under is that still under tools I wonder no it is not how about structures a solar still holy crap this game is incredible what other kinds of creative burn is a brick station Jesus all right well whatever damn stock campfire or six oh that's relatively easy so man you can't go out for very long without getting frickin sunburned you got to be kidding me Oh a tree hi there I think I'm good I guess like can I cut you four sticks or is this just is a Wow holy crap you can cut it and allow it to explode into the netherworld that worked out really good though my problem is I imagine as we destroy the trees I will run out of Sun Shade now to be fair I think there was a better and more impressive island somewhere around here we'll probably end up going to that after we get some of the basic stuff done I am doing the tutorial because um I've never played the game so it seems like a good idea campfire boom-shaka-laka we're going to put this right under the trees because I want to stay in the shade which makes fantastic sense so we're on that Sun burn it can happen super fast and I am extremely olive-skinned and in about 4 hours I will get brutally sunburned so Kendell a BAM the kid only has destroyed your backpack all right use the kindling on the campfire to light it sharp let's go check this out over here so what do you do you just kind of out there press the mouse repeatedly oh no I'm gonna say them I don't know what this guy did for a living maybe he wrote survival books or maybe he's like a famous survival star but there is no way in hell a common man with a private jet who's never survived on an on an island before could do this because I've tried this before as a pin now to be fair I'm not a pro or anything like that there's our survival watch use Mouse hero to cycle through all right oh oh by the way boys just so you know I put it on I put it on Celsius for you all because I know everyone loves Celsius use a knife on a crab to skin it now we beat the crap how do you drop this Oh Q good now we beat the crap out of a crab if I can remember where the hell it is all we have to do is go over to it and probably stab it a couple more times oh there he is right there all of you little jerk hold eita skins blam oh look it's not disgusting it's gonna keep us alive how did we get is like a slab of steak we got out of frigging crap whatever drop Q and drag the mat okay okay all right so do it drop it hold it I imagine yes hold it mouse one ah that's the second mouse buttons left yes just sit on top of the fire sit on levitate on top of the fire damn it and on top of the fire there we go now levitate yes it's levitating I don't know if it'll stay levitated Nisour what you're the knight on a coconut to open it now how do you know when this is cooked like does it will it like fly off when it's done or something I don't know all right let's go ahead and grab our knife and find a coconut there's got to be one coconut on the suck-ass island just picking up stones and stuff as I run around all another crab boys not crap ain't no crab get away from me ain't no crab get away from me you better know better than that give me your skin oh yeah Jared oh god I love it it's just a slab of meat that pops out of the crab it is so good are we gonna happen to get coconuts old fashioned way Oh yucca plant jungle plants are fantastic hold on I'm going to slap this yucca plant up because that's going to give us fibrous leaves by the bushel look at this fibrous leaves all over the place man I got fiber sleeves for days now how many fibrous leaves can you hold on you one of seven okay so you can hold quite a few all right it's got to be done by now it looks it looks done yeah I'm sure it's done okay so I haven't seen any coconuts laying on the ground so I guess I just see something I don't know maybe my eyes are playing tricks on me I didn't see any coconuts laying on the ground which means we're probably going to have to go and get in the old fashioned way I know your boys really great or the coconut right there remember great power observation they're not great hold you up to climb all right we're doing the one one-handed climbing method here one-handed climbing method can I get it oh you got to be freaking kidding me we got it so you can only like look at it alright hold on can I put this down ah empty hands that seems like a lot better idea than doing this with friggin non empty hands alright now can I grab this coconut from here I've got a core of fruit there's core of fruit over here I think it's pretty important manners a nice bushel I have not been able to get a freaking coconut breaking coconut getting simulator has been a pain in the ass I'll put all these rocks over here I don't know what else oh rock stacking simulator go excellent um and I do not want to get Jack on some friggin coconut all this coconut right there look at that BAM got it oh I wonder if you can jump and get one oh you can you can you can jump and get them that's awesome all right so we got a coconut use a knife on a coconut know I'll put it over here right it's not going to roll yes caught right against the tree that was I planned that by the way I planned that okay now nice slap drinkable coconut pick up and drink now you're going to see I got injured a little bit because I freaking fell off a tree so that was pretty annoying I'm not like broken or anything am i press e to pick up and then we got another coconut over here I'll pick that one up too oh we have to drink it alright um so I guess just uh oh there we go you just click on it no big deal crap this shelter and save your progress now that seems like a friggin important idea one of the shelter take I do wonder probably things and stuff a lot oh it's a crypt a quick crafting menu it's probably good to no furniture no structures there we go so we're going to need lashing palm fronds and sticks got some more low-hanging coconuts over here boys looking good now this palm tree tonight that's interesting the palm tree is like going up into the air as I slap it with my knife this is it's very very disconcerting what does this mean I causing this to grow and I quote you can knock down a tree with a friggin knife all right whatever palm brunch now I'm pretty sure if this gets us the palm fronds that we're going to need a crappy shoulder and it's a damn good thing too because clearly the friggin light is going off pretty quick here come on man Tomatoes palm fronds give me those palm fronds Oh BAM palm fronds for days boys palm fronds for days do any more palm fronds is it I thought that's the extent of our palm fronds right whatever we got a young palm tree over there get out of the Sun a little bit all right so what else do we need for our shelter we got palm fronds oh we just need sticks I got it and I'll bet that that little critter that we knocked down is probably perfect for getting sticks whoa I was about to say I've been working on a railroad over here all the live long day that guy did not want to call up any sticks where all my sticks go man when you bust up these trees the sticks fly across the entire friggin universe I hate that I wish that they would just fall in like a nice orderly fashion Oh fibrous leaves I'll grab those there any other sticks around I guess we can break down some of these trees if you remember our little crap ass knife it's absolutely perfect for taking down sad little trees especially since the sticks or something I'm going to want over here to our fire what how long our fire lasts because it's been lasting a pretty good long time all right so shelter and how do I does it need to turn green or anything so this is where my inexperience comes into play I need to turn yellow all right so boom right there we are done baby it's the only place you can save your progress save there we go all right so what we supposed to do next tutorial give me the next one crap the hammer I want to do it while we still have some freaking light man tools hammer go where is it crude axe refined axe I just missed it in i know i didn't right here oh we're getting ready to it BAM hammers done it's been stored of a backpack what time we got right now boys well our health goes up over time well that's lucky healthy 6:21 in May right that's pretty close to right now oh I don't know where we are though that's a good point I was about to say like it should not all already the moon should not be coming up already but man this is a pretty friggin game hold on let me uh let me uh put that down right there so we can really enjoy the moon as it slowly rises up I learn that boys I'm going to wander around a little bit and I'll see in the morning because playing at night probably isn't the best way you wanted to see me mess around on this game although do let me know if you want to see me do stuff at night that's fine it's like a torch rating that we can make but we can see a little bit better all right good morning folks it is a beautiful morning I learned some stuff so apparently you can tell when things are cooked with a little dinging sound like a friggin microwave is going off it also turns into cook small meat which is nice so I made some stuff during the night time I made a fishing spear I made this crude ax I've got over here looks pretty good we've got our uh I put a couple of materials into our little crappie raft over there because I think we're gonna hit that island up in there um there's another island over there well I imagine we're surrounded by island so it shouldn't be that big of a problem I'm trying to figure out if I want to like get anything here like there's this my novel resource like what do you have to do to get it you probably need a pick and you can't have a oh hi and you can't have a pick until you have leather we do not have any leather at all and then we need cloth for some other stuff and you could there is a torch there is a friggin torch we just have to be able to get it oh okay what though this fishing spear though huh guys this fishing spear though can you get fishes with it let's try what's this BAM right there fish right there on the end of it can you get two fish uh well boom man we are getting sardines hold on now come here little sardine come here little sardine your ass is grass your ass is grass sardine yeah alright so we have a pretty easily renewable source of food with this fishing spear so I'm not that worried about it we'll probably need something to drink how's that Oh God Oh Lord in heaven hold on let me let me not drop the fishing spear over to our coconuts in it drink that a little bit are we done with coconuts is that that all I'm allowed to have how much I that is not enough drinking at all I need more coconuts for sure now once you're done drinking a coconut I believe you can slap it with a nice knife in order to get food out of it in there have you hold on here just got it you got to hit it a couple times now got to put your back into it there we go we got coconut half I'm talking about I got a couple of coconuts on the raft I think we're definitely going to need that I need to figure out a way to boil some water or something because the hydration issue is probably going to be a problem Samir could not you you coconut you come here let's go ahead and do this in the shade so I'm not getting friggin sunburned again Oh coconut stacking simulator boys coconuts tagging simulator I have no idea how I did that but whatever alright are oh my god the frigging halves are going flying across the entire universe all right so we've got some drink now I'm going to go get like a couple more coconuts and then we're going to have to get the hell out of here because it's already 10:00 a.m. all right we're almost full up we're going to go let's get the hell out of here this sad little island is not going to provide anything for that's so damn small so hold eetu interact alright so we jump inside here no bigger that island looks way way there on the Stingray it's up there stingray the island over there looks way way better so let's see if we can go ahead over to that one I feel like there may be better things over there now they're all look totally possible that there's all kinds of like look there's like a freakin I don't even know what that is though there's like a some sort of wooden object on the ground there's probably stuff all around these islands but quite honestly there's probably stuff around all the islands so I'm not really that worried about going to a different one and checking it out also another island over there alright baby we're getting there man acai looks freaking legit yeah this looks like the perfect place to roll up some fish and smoke them or whatever we do to cook them I guess like everything else we just throw it over a fire and hope that eventually they get they make a dinging sound we got sunburned setting it over here man we need a faster friggin boat for sure this thing is slow as hell alright right over here we're going to go ahead and park it right on this rocky out cropping right over here blam all right I think we're yeah there we go we're good that's that's got to be good all right go ahead and grab all this it really wasn't that much left because I had a lot of it in my inventory what is that floating out there I will check it out in a minute oh yeah look at all this look at all this and we got another island is that a friggin wild pig or something like that well now I know how we're going to get leather so first things first we got to get that's a wild freaking pig is it going to try and beat my ass well there's a bow I saw we're going to have to get one of those first things first I'm just trying to find an area with some shade what is that do your that sounded like a that like a really loud cricket or was that like a friggin a frigging snake or something oh right there look at it coming out guy right there's a friggin snake right over there all right you you just you you hang out there I don't want nothing of it okay this is dense is it right here oh this is perfect a good amount of shade we've got a beautiful area overlooking the cove that's what I'm talking about my buddies out there that's my kindred those seagulls over there are pissed off as all hell let's go ahead and start putting together a shelter all right I've got most of my stuff set up what are these seagulls going crazy about hold on can I get up here so I can I kind of wonder if there's something dead up here or something because they are going absolutely friggin nuts there's something dead maybe we can take it skinned or something now just looks like they're going crazy all right well whatever funny how I managed to make my base right next to like the one deadly rattlesnake that's great for you though you know what though that rattlesnake and I are going to become best friends trust me he's not going to hurt me I'm not going to hurt him it's gonna be fine how far am I allowed to fall without killing myself all right go grab some palm fronds and some other so I need to make a knife to our knife died oh look at you little coconut you ain't get away from me boy man I love I love the look of these kind of games I'm gonna tell you what and I'll it and I live in this type of environment I still love it I don't know what it is man the tropics Oh scrapped the tropics are always one of my favorites oh yeah this island is just teeming with the good stuff look at this sticks laying all over the place and there have you there's a little crab imma let him go for right now I don't need him at this time starting to get pretty dark outside like an a-hole I dropped my frickin axe saying to myself you know what great you could always get it later huh man there's more stuff over I'm gonna grab this rock though I dropped my axe down thinking to myself that it wouldn't be a big deal because I could just pick it up later only problem is now I have no idea where the hell it is now to be fair I can easily go ahead and not drop that stick I can easily go ahead and like use um use a knife the crappy knife that I have right now with stone tool because one thing I need more I need more lashing yeah a snake right there right in the middle I know it's friggin dark as hell that snakes moving around I mean man it's like it's going from there to there son of a [ __ ] snake that's fine though we're going to go ahead and sleep for right now and that's going to be another day in the books boys another day of survival we need to get a better base than this craptastic friggin piece of nothingness we got over here although we're doing pretty good on resources and so well I mean I assume we've got tons of coconut halves over here I got some more coconut I have that you can't change your item what is that oh it's my pilchard or whatever the hell it's called what else do we have we've got some palm fronds I don't know if I need these or not go ahead and put those right down there for right now just kind of hanging out pick my knife back up because you never know oh yeah we got palm fronds for days baby we are super thirsty man we are thirsty late all the time luckily I happen to have some drinkable coconuts over here that I've been saving for actually we can use our access that I happen to be saving for just such an occasion there's no coconut have chairs tables and all this stuff looks real familiar I was just looking at theater dating to boil water I am at and some of this stuff working a firepit and I imagine maybe like you put stuff into a jug I'll bet like you put stuff into a jug and then you put it on the fire pit you guys could always feel free by the way to give me suggestions because that would certainly help yeah we need leather for sure and I'm definitely going to need pull on air I'm definitely going to need more to drink because you can see I'm already thirsty but that's fine this is just the beginning boys we've got seagulls we've got deadly snakes surrounding us we've got a sad little area that I'm using right now so I don't get sunburned every 10 seconds got to the pig there's something like that on the island that I'm sure we're going to have to butcher for their sweet delicious meat it's got freaking rattlesnakes looking at me sideways but what sort of bounties await us in the water I wonder what sort of bounties let's go take a look real quick I'm actually very curious before I call it a day hold on down we go now I imagine and I'm probably not living this correctly there you go empty hands when you're swimming man now we don't want to now can you get can you get hurt on the on the coral and touch here I don't usually I don't know how accurate this game is just kind of taking a look over here just to look around the immediate area now I know there's some fish whoa holy Jesus they're staying right good freaking scared the crap out of me that stingray did right there good gravy look at this pig what in a steak you're coming at me pig Oh hold the pigs flipping out the pig is flipping out the pigs gone that was the strangest interaction with wildlife I've ever had I don't really know how to feel about that low hanging coconuts boys low hanging coconuts that's what's on the menu today actually that's going to be what's on the menu for a while to drink it looks like we have any more low-hanging coconuts I love getting them lohan are you still over here mr. snake yes look at them look at a flip flopping around get the hell out of here snake why don't you go for a swim or something like that man I got stuff to do all right we got coconut for days get up for days but a man cannot some sign on coconut alone we got to get out in the water and start looking for fancy things too because I know there's all kinds of delicious treasures in the water and man the weather's been really really good to us still tons of boys and snakes on the island not super happy about that but otherwise I think we're doing okay like I said my first time playing this game so you're not going to see everything done perfectly don't learn from grey learn from grace mistakes that's the way you do it hey boys you want
