[Music] what is going on pro guys family it's your host sergeant frost and today we'll be bringing you an all-inclusive guide on the newest agent fade fate is an agent themed all around fear and certainly if you play her right you'll be able to strike it deep into the hearts of your enemies so in order to get you up to speed with the newest rank meta give you a good idea on how fate is played and how to play against her make sure to watch till the end remember to like and subscribe and now let's get right into it so before anything else let's give a rundown of her abilities the first of course being her signature haunt haunt is her e ability and it allows her to throw up a haunting watcher which will either drop down after some time or it can earlier if you reuse the ability once it lands it'll look around for 0.825 seconds after which it'll spot and highlight any players it sees it can be shot by a single bullet just like a silver dart but unlike a sova dart it'll not only ping but instead it'll just give you straight up wall hacks as long as the eye remains alive it lasts for up to two seconds and it'll even mark players it sees activating a terror trail that leads from the eye to where the players are positioned and unlike the eye that mark lasts a while namely 12 full seconds as a cool bonus fade even calls out how many players she has marked just in case you did not immediately realize how many players you lit up as fade as an initiator her signature also refreshes and in her case that's after 40 seconds meaning that using this one early to get some info is never a terrible idea oh and by the way guys if even after this guide you're still struggling with fade or even just want to learn how to most effectively improve your aging pool in general make sure to check out proguides.com as there you'll be able to get access to some of the most insane guides made by your favorite pros like tens and screen we have a guide specifically dedicated to mastering an agent and we even give you access to rated and immortal level coaches that can help you one-on-one in order to give you the quickest results the link is in the description below and now let's get back into the guide for c or prowler somewhat resembles one of the individual seekers when skye uses her ultimate they have 100 hp just 50 less than regular seekers and they move at a similar speed but in the case of fade they are initially controlled by the user at least until it spots an enemy or enemy trail as once it does it'll increase the speed dramatically and short sight them on hit for 3.5 seconds she can buy two prowlers per round and they cost 250 credits each when it comes to using them they're of course great for clearing out some close corners their only weakness is that they don't travel very far so using them to clear something like hookah or bind or garden on the same map is a perfect use however that doesn't mean that they can't be used on people that are far away at all as if you have players marked and thus have a trail available you can use it to have these little prowlers shoot towards your enemies at crazy speeds just remember that if you manage to hit an enemy with one fade will call that out and they'll be short-sighted for 3.5 seconds which is almost twice as long as an omen's paranoia to give you a comparison her q ability seize is one that perhaps is the most unique in her kit it's deployed similarly to her haunting watcher as you throw it in the air and wait for it to fall or reuse it earlier to make it drop sooner on landing it'll create a circle which will trap enemies inside enemies held in place will then also decay 75 hp which will restore over 5 seconds and they'll be deafened the zone will last for 4.5 seconds meaning that for that duration players will not be able to escape fade can use this ability once per round and it will cost 200 credits then we have her ultimate nightfall in a way that resembles a breach ultimate except instead of stunning players it trails and deafens them for 12 seconds and it'll even decay them for 75 hp which will be restored over not 5 but also 12 seconds and it'll even tell fate how many players she has hit with her ultimate both through a sound q on hit as well as a voice line after the ultimate finishes so basically her ultimate is a great tool that will give up enemy positions how many enemies there are and even debuff them quite significantly luckily also unlike breach again you can't hit your teammates with any of the utility including your ultimate so you don't have to worry about stunning blinding or deafening any of them her ultimate costs 7 orbs so it's not super cheap but certainly not too costly either alright so now that we have a pretty good idea of what each ability does what do you think of her kit personally i think her kit is good certainly quite unique and also very fun to play i'm not entirely sure if she'll be able to solo initiator at least on some maps like ascent and breeze but with some tips we'll be going into later she'll be certainly strong on almost every map but what do you guys think make sure to comment down below and now let's continue on with some of our tips so first to get you an idea of what her play style would look like fate is a bit of a sova sky hybrid she has some of skye's explosiveness and effectiveness at close range while also offering more pure info based abilities that made silva stand out as such an important and powerful agent in the meta for so long this makes her a great little aggressive agent that can be used both for great info and also raw combat at first glance one could argue that solva's recondart is a lot better and more consistent than fate's haunt or eye as on paper it's pretty obvious and it's always at the exact same height but that's where you'd be wrong since similarly to sova fade can make great use of lineups argentinian pro unstow showcased some of the insane potential already quite early which you can accomplish by using the i of course if you want to see all of them check out this original post link below but for now these are three of our favorites he found on ascent as well as two originals to have more of a rounded repertoire of options firstly number one is to execute onto a as an attacker it sees a large amount of the actual bomb site and the annoying close corners are also cleared and of course since it'll mark anyone at spots it's comboed greatly by also using one or two prowlers onto the trails to force your opponents to either compromise their position by shooting or get to know the potential of the new agent in real time that of course being by getting shortsighted for a whole 3.5 seconds the longest lasting blind in the game in order to get a lot of info around amen early the second lineup you probably want to learn on ascent is on the defender's side to throw it get into tree look slightly next to this window here and jump through this will allow you to spot anyone in a main or even outside of a main more towards their own spawn a great piece of utility it can allow you to recognize potential rushes at the very first second of the round and all that by only using a refreshable ability on b site a similar lineup exists where you should line yourself up with this red and white pole on the ground aim at the middle of the third brick from the right and again jump throw that way you'll be able to spot anyone standing outside b even if they're perhaps trying to go mid and so it gives you a lot of info of where your enemies are going of course since we can't leave you without a haunt lineup to attack b we also created one ourselves to throw it line yourself up with the edge of the box like here aim at the middle of this circular smudge on the wall and once more jump throw that way it'll land in the back of b and spot anyone on site that isn't hiding in backsight and it'll even catch most of lane and stairs of course depending on your goals there might be better ones that will perhaps catch more of the outside of main entrance but it's harder to find effective lineups that aren't easy to shoot one that i've decided to use in my games for now is this one which catches anyone playing close to main but also is a lot easier to shoot than the previous one is this one first you line yourself up with this box then you aim at the left bottom side of the sign here jump throw and voila and again as with most of these lineups following your enemies spotted with prowlers is a really good combo and perhaps one of the best ways to get consistent value out of your utility just remember that the lineups are prone to getting countered if you use them too often if you use the same piece of utility every round players will eventually catch on and pre-aim the spot it lands so that's where good timing and variety becomes ever so important just something to keep in mind now i've mentioned a few times how prowlers are good when using them on terror trails which is of course since they don't need direct vision on enemies and they are even a whole lot faster making them much more difficult to hit but i want to get a bit more in depth on that of course her prowlers are by no means useless when you're controlling them around corners as they can give you great info which might be just what you need but by using it in this way you're not very likely to flash enemies at all essentially you could see her prowlers as two separate abilities on one hand you can use them for non-marked players as sort of a budget skydog that you can use to clear close corners with and have two of instead of one and the second ability is more of a hard initiating sky ultimate which you can only use on marked enemies but it is very very effective also especially up close it's important to recognize this difference because both uses have their perks but trying to use your prowlers as a flash where your enemies isn't already marked oftentimes just isn't really the play when it comes to her seeds which again allows her to trap deafen and decay players it has a great amount of uses the most obvious plays would of course be trapping players on standard positions when attacking bomb sites but there's also a lot more interesting things you can do you can try to create lineups to block out rotations you can use it aggressively on defense to isolate players while also trapping their teammates behind them and you can even combo it very well with for example the brimstone's ultimate a bit like what happened to this helpless soul here an important thing with any new agent is to be creative but when it comes to seas especially there's a lot of room for creativity of course just like in the example you mentioned team play is very important for an initiator like fate just because you might know someone is stuck in a corner because of your trail does not necessarily make it easy to kill them unless you have teammates to follow up with their utility of their own trapping someone in a corner is similarly good on its own but having a race throw in a nade on top makes it an unbeatable combo especially in the case of her e haunt you can get really good info from a distance but if a teammate is not really ready to follow up on it well then you might just be out of luck and it won't accomplish much so playing around and with your primary duelist is the most consistent and arguably easiest way to accomplish success her ultimate is another really easy strong info tool it allows you to entry easier and it even deafens plus decays people on retakes and site takes using it is pretty straightforward you can just use it like you would a breach ultimate see how many players you hit send in a couple of prowlers and you have a great site execute while everyone on the enemy team is sitting somewhere around half hp or perhaps even lower of course in pro play or perhaps even high level rank play you can also use it to make a great amount of more creative plays but if all you play is solo queue ranked you might be better off using it on sites in conclusion i think we can all agree that fate is a pretty good agent with certainly a lot of potential to develop nicely into the meta her haunting watcher seems great at first sight her prowlers combo very nicely with it her ultimate seems like an extremely potent side take ability and specifically combo with prowlers her seize is what becomes probably the most interesting and unique ability added in a long time she might be a bit worse on bigger maps as all of her abilities have a bit of a limited range but by using lineups most of them can be circumvented that's going to be it for now though so if you want to stay up
