The Norwich 90 | Felixstowe to Harwich Ferry

plankton backup - Colchester and we got the train to perish where we stay for about 20 seconds we turn round who went back again we went to hips which then we got the train to felixstowe but we could have done we didn't know we could have saved ourselves so much time we could have got the boat from Harwich across to Felix day [Music] as if on cue I'm like Norwich and if pull me and on the opposite platform I you can see it in the reflection already there that lot is either new seven four five [Music] about driver it's just what we do the driver says Steven that the new free car Sadler's will definitely come to this line when give us a date Steven that's a piece of string job on the frayed thing that got being tested so we miss the bond 5-3 there has been one here took one has come down yet they've reproved it so we fingers crossed into like these beasts or you look forward to the new I'm looking for two new ones but these will be missed I think to be honest yeah there's not many people that actually like them don't provoke me you're tougher but what I haven't told you is that it's not like the boat is like there we've got to work out how to get to the boat oh yeah Jeff explorers ready as Rick very friendly taxi driver who works as shipping around his life and he's telling us that over there that boat is a is it like a 20,000 teu I don't know what tu stands for is some kind of technical shipping term but there's a fort over there it's a viewing point basically people come here they go to the cafe tea anyone and just watch the giant container ships come in and out bags Rick that's it Jeff explores finish having it get a coffee and we got half an hour to vote not quite sure where we're supposed to get the fairing think you often the cafe and they said it's a flag on the beach I think it's gonna be here somewhere I don't know it's not obvious is it it's really not obvious boats not here but I definitely have a confirmation to press one to find out the best operating today saying no service today even though yeah I have a booked ticket paid for today they've got the Twitter during the treatment I do want to tweet them so Harwich there you've solved me a ticket and taken my number money and given me a booking reference only further to be no vote which means we can't get Harridge I just don't think that's so bizarre that even if they change the day that he wouldn't get in touch and tell you you would have sittin up in thing to do yeah I'm leaving to contact the ferry back people and I'm gonna do a very very impromptu dan I know I said that on the last idiot but this is even more being prompted there's a fault here right next to Felixstowe Harbor so let's see what we can find out [Music] I've come into what's called the Kappa Nia I think that's hearth fares and it's a low level passage at the base of the walls and it has what I would call arrow loops but they would have been used for rifles and so if any enemies had come up to the wall defenders could fire out of these windows these slits to prevent people from scaling scaling up the wall and into the form that way using music you hear in the background is a short film created a couple of years ago when a group of brilliant actors came to the 4th to recreate what happened in 1667 when 800 Dutch soldiers arrived on the shores here and tried to invade England via Langford luckily the four held strong and the Dutch retreated [Music] it's really awfully windy but he goes there's been a fort here at Lang guard for over 400 years part of the coastal defenses in this part of Britain during the Second World War the fort played a number of different roles it protected merchant ships as they came in and out of the country and they also helped to send information about enemy planes that were coming over the country and even helped to shoot some down as well I think just coming back to do something funny and a healthy [Music] on the train home yeah how did you enjoy Harwich I really liked it we got so close in 2017 it didn't do tiny would fail to do it again today so it's not the fact that you know it's the money all the time it's the fact that we've got to go back and do it again so at some point you just go straight to hell good next time we just go straight the Harwich but good to the fort it didn't get prevent in the Norwich 19 yeah we've got to see some new trains yeah that's all good so this is a twist in a way when something goes wrong you end up having a little adventure because you wouldn't have gone to the fort house had the birth been running though positive spin on it and think of it that way good for nikah sport that's what I got thanks very much you you say interesting witty things now to amuse and entertain and YouTube audience if you got an author in one hand no chicken in the home that's obvious camera Jake object Oh chicken next time [Music]
