The Nike Shoes Every Skater Recommends

i definitely underestimated the love for nike shoes that people in my audience have and just people in general in the world i've tried two pairs of nikes on this channel recently my first pair in about 15 years and then i tried some jordans which hurt my feet a lot the truth is the actual team edition nike shoes that i tried were fine but they actually didn't skate well at least for me but when i posted everything about the shoes there were so many comments trying to correct the wrong that i accidentally had incited but there was one shoe that two of my friends recommended and a lot of the comments recommended but they were blazer mids right off the bat i can tell you this these are so cool looking just the shoes in general this specific colorway i am definitely a massive fan of and actually my fiance was like those are amazing you shouldn't skate in those so that you could wear them around but i bought them to skate in them so you know that's that's the point of this video and to make this video extra sweet i am skating a skatepark that i have been trying to skate for months and months and months roanoke skate park it's the place with the big spoon i made a video about this place a long time ago and then when i tried to come back during the whole pandemic chaos it was shut down the entire time so nobody got to skate this for months on end so instead of just putting these shoes on and being very uncomfortable right off the bat i actually wore them around yesterday just to break them in okay i just put on the shoes the truth is i can already feel a little bit of pressure here and you can almost like see it sticking out it's just pushing up against my foot but it feels fine right now we're going to walk around for like the next hour and a half so if they feel painful in the next 10 minutes or so it's going to be a nightmare because we're going all the way to dallas back i'm gonna bring my samples just in case maybe but uh they definitely look cool i mean that's that's hands down they look so cool thanks babe and we had to take it out of the top two loops just to make them loose enough because i need these to be like barely touching my feet to not feel like i'm in agony even though they were uncomfortable that day i actually did break in the shoes a little bit and even putting them on just today they already feel much better so let's just get a warm-up session see how that goes see how the first 20 minutes or so are with the shoes and we're at roanoke skatepark so let's get going okay foreign [Applause] [Music] me toe touch [Applause] so we finally finally have an improvement to these shoes do feel better than the other ones even though they still hurt my feet a little bit i have a feeling that i actually could get used to the other shoes if i just tried to break them in the only problem i have with that is that i don't like when you have to break and choose that much because there are so many skate shoes that you don't have to break in so to me it's like why bother with the shoes that don't come pre-prepared like when i put on vans shoes or kariumas they are just comfortable right away and i know that nike is its own world and i know that it has this whole subculture of people who are just fanatical about the actual shoes themselves but i don't think i care enough about just the culture of like nike to force myself to feel pain for a day or so just to wear skate shoes it would be nice to figure them out because the one clip on my instagram that i posted of me wearing the jordans it was just like not that impressive of a line at all but it had a lot of good feedback had a lot of likes just because of what i was wearing which i guess that makes sense that's reality so maybe i should get used to them just so i can get a little more clout in my uh in my feed so that being said i'm still gonna do a few more tricks with them just to see if i can break them into the the shoes that i want so i'm gonna do i don't know 18 tricks or so just tricks for my instagram story basically but let's get them right now [Music] so [Music] [Music] so [Music] man i'm skating well today you know [Music] [Applause] [Music] so my skating of course switched dramatically right when i put on the other shoes i could actually land a couple of tricks as for flip tricks with the nikes that was the most difficult part just trying to when you ollie into tricks you don't need as much precision with your shoes but when you start doing flip tricks and switch flips and kickflips and tray flips just anything you really do need shoes that fit perfectly to what you're used to so when i switched back obviously my ollies were cleaner my flip tricks were cleaner and i ran into that kid at that one point all in all it was a good session i enjoyed it i'm gonna leave this park now because it's starting to get heavily populated and and now we're like it's chaos at a certain point like with this park especially if there is five or seven people it's already a little hectic somehow so i'm gonna head out but of course if you don't know there is a new video on this channel every tuesday and thursday so subscribe if you want to
