wondering how to get clean water out of your 55 gallon drum i'm going to show you a fast easy way to get clean purified drinking water out of a 55-gallon drum using the aquadrum water purification system from sagan life analyzing the powerful journey filter tested and proven to remove virus bacteria protozoan and heavy metals the journey will have no problem purifying that water in your drum even if it's been sitting there for years there are a couple super effective ways to pump pure water out of your 55 gallon drum with this kit it comes with a very powerful hand pump which lets you pump or siphon water out of the drum as you can see both of these methods work really well today we're going to focus on the power pump plus an even faster easier way to get water out of your water storage barrel first simply connect the components the tubing connects to the powerful journey filter and the quick connect pieces allow you to easily attach the tubing to the power pump [Music] next drop the filter into the water barrel it pretty much just rests on top of the drum opening push the button on top and it stands there pretty nicely it just kind of depends on what the tubing is doing underneath but it looks pretty steady right now and as you can see that is a steady stream of water coming out the pump will work for one minute and then it has an automatic shut off as a safety precaution because you don't want to walk away and have all of your precious water resources go to waste if you're not paying attention so it will per charge filter 20 gallons of water using the filter now if you don't have a filter on the other end it will purify 30 or it will pump 30 gallons of water per charge it's just a rechargeable usb cable comes with it and it works really really well and is much easier than a lot of the other options and as you can see we're just there we go shut off after a minute and then you can push the button again and get another minute of water still a steady stream i'm really impressed with this i really like this feature
