The Movies but I can't make a good movie

hey there friends how's it going my name is kevin and today we're playing the movies okay so basically you own a movie production lot and the fun part is you have to do everything about creating the movie from doing a little script to putting the you know scenes in motion to building the lots all this kind of thing and then you actually get to see the movie at the end so that's what we're going to do we're going to do start finish a whole movie i started in the year 2000 you can go all the way back to the 30s i believe but yeah we're gonna need some uh staff so i'm gonna go ahead and get started oh they're cutting in line you know what that's not right i'm gonna make you a janitor now congratulations you guys can just stand there this guy looks like he's ready for a movie and you go he's got the perfect posture okay we'll take this guy because i have created my own star and i can import him yep that's right it's jim pickens i don't know if i'll need more so congratulations you're uh all actors now i apparently have the fifth most famous star here i just pulled her from the street and jim is somehow the 11th even though he's never been in a movie and never heard of he just kind of showed up here are you my crew i can't see in the building okay there we go yeah i'm gonna need a lot of you guys right we should probably get writing a movie uh how do i make a movie again i think i need a building for it hospital no i'm not paying their medical bills ah here we go now we can write our own script okay jim pickens is the lead uh not quite uh maybe no i mean it suits him but uh not today no can't hide that beautiful face perfect yeah he's digging it oh no nope didn't want that no stop stop all right i think we're good to go we got jim pickens as jim pickens laura winfield is joy robert moody is dr velmet and the movie's called killjoy you get it because the middle one is joy all right you know never mind okay so now we have to create the scenes oh my god that's obnoxious i don't want to hear that again in my life no stop it you know what i i don't find anything wrong with jim entering a bath fully clothed i'm gonna leave him like that our villain approaches perfect we'll just put her wait that's the director wrong person okay we'll put her sitting there it's gonna be weird editing this video of me editing video that's going to be new oh man i'm kind of getting lost in my story uh all right that's fine i i've got a basic idea here with my scenes but it's getting a bit drawn out okay i think we're we're done or editing i didn't want to show you too much because we're we're going to watch the whole movie when it's done and i don't want to give away you know the the fantastic plot we got going on here so we're going to finish that yeah exit and confirm i didn't even rewatch it but i know it's perfect anyway all right so it's ready for casting so far it's a two-star movie that's good to hear uh where do i bring it okay begin casting we need a director oh yeah i put i put the director in as an extra because i ran out of actors so we're gonna have to make a new director you've never done anything before you're a director she's very unhappy why oh she doesn't have a trailer you just walked in off the street and you want a trailer i need extras uh but no one wants to be an extra i'm just gonna make people who wanted to be janitors and builders extras damn it look i'll build you a trailer even though you don't deserve it like rickety trailer and you're going way over here stop whatever you're doing because our new director who doesn't even deserve this job wants this trailer done come on no no wait here now you want your trailer you're getting your trailer there you go oh you're happy now aren't you yeah congratulations look at the state of the place she's unhappy with her salary she's an extra now she's in like one scene in the movie and she's unhappy with her salary okay this guy is gym stunt double much younger and different hair and everything we'll see how close he can get and then we got a man again to stun double for her but you know what you take what you can get and only two signed up and uh i'm a bit concerned it may not work but it's fine okay we are ready it's all rehearsed shoot it oh i need lots of sets okay i think i need three sets i've got the living room being built the bathroom and then i have this miniature city that is used in two shots in the movie for no reason at all perfect they are going starting shooting in the living room now oh look at this look at that for acting look at that is some good acting wait oh no i need one more set suburban street okay that's fine they can be working away i'm already down 350 000 and money is plummeting even more i hope this movie's a hit all right we got the final set built everything is good to go i think no it's not i need another set god damn it we are sixth out of all the studios in town there's only ten though we're behind cletus's shotgun cinema well we're gonna change that with this movie okay finally are they all clear now we just gotta wait until the whole thing is shot i could have made this instant like that it's just they walk to the set and it's done but i i wanted to be legit about it what the hell was that oh he's pretty he's a stunt man he's practicing slipping on a banana let's put him in that thing i built a while ago where is it there's oh yeah there's a training thing here oh he's good yeah you're needed on set buddy i know i put you there but you know wait oh my god he pulls off that actress really oh he just walked through a wall okay that's fine i'm giving away parts of the movie here i'm spoiling it by god he's convincing though all the stuntmen are just dropping bananas everywhere i guess i only have like two janitors for the whole studio oh my god we just went into the last of all the studios how all right jim is the 29th highest star only because he's got a good image and a good trailer see the person in front is just really good jim you're needed on set i know you're having a fun time drinking there but oh no he's getting a bit drunk i think there's bubbles coming off him i'm just gonna pull you out of there and uh you're gonna do your scene he delayed the whole production there yeah he's drunk there's bubbles coming off him oh my god my director's getting drunk as well you're you're needed i'm not allowing you to do that oh jesus he's back in the freaking bar again oh my god she's drinking constantly my star and my director is drunk all the time wait what's wrong with you you're in one scene how are you such an issue oh no she's drinking again i may need to just supervise the whole thing so we can get this film done stop drinking just shoot the damn scene i just need to save some money i'm sorry i i don't want to do this but i'm running out of money and my film's just over halfway complete i don't know what happens if their thing reaches the bottom of their mood uh i'll build her a really nice trick wait i don't really have the money to do that i'll buy her a rickety trailer okay i made her a bit happier by giving her that trailer oh there's a big stunt you want to happen this is very central to the movie oh jesus that was faster than i thought i forgot i was having a fast forward oh those are the stunt doubles did it did it go to plan yeah they did the stunt he's a very convincing jim pickens him i'm not so sure going to get drunk eh well how about we actually film the goddamn movie first she will never work in this town again let me tell you that much she doesn't even have an addiction to drink she just drinks all the time for no reason okay she doesn't sound too promising stress pot easily bored lives to eat loves alcohol i i don't think i want you you know i think you can go back to where you came from yeah that's right you know what actually you're my new janitor oh she's not happy about that we'll go find somewhere else to live then she's the 14th best star in town and i have her cleaning what are we waiting for here we're waiting for laura who is overeating where are you laura laura oh my god she's putting on a lot of weight i mean nothing wrong with that but at the start of the movie she's going to look different to the end if we're not careful on the plus side she might look more like her stunt double she's looking for litter oh no no you're not going to the bear you are doing the scene i have to just constantly supervise this one for one's gym isn't the problem with something how can i fix her oh oh that sounded nasty oh stunt failed going to get drunk well i can't blame her she just lost her job as one of the best stars in hollywood and now she's a janitor threatening to quit on the 3rd of october oh god no yeah just just keep drinking keep eating and we'll make you happy again jim is very happy and he's also getting drunk his addiction to drink is actually getting pretty serious we're going to ignore that problem for now now she's trying to work and i'm trying to camera down oh no don't sit here next to her they'll both just complain to each other and convince each other to quit that's my finances right now all right let's ignore that at least he's a functioning alcoholic like i know that's a pretty bad thing to say but he's arriving to said he's getting things done he's pretty happy she's just just a disaster oh no there was an end to all wars no more tanks and copters but peace instead which has made the horror genre unpopular for some reason all my staff are either alcoholics or addicted to food do i have a rehab center you know what i can't afford one their well-being isn't my priority right now oh we are approaching the end of the movie though we've only got five more scenes to shoot she's now 25th in hollywood and she's just cleaning up trash she quit well i ruined your career i mean you were part of my competition now you're a nobody so i got the job done i might just make it it looks like i'll be bankrupt by 2009 but the movie's due to come out in september so i might be okay let's just start firing other people one janitor for the whole studio there's only two more scenes to go wait my director just quit okay just pause everything's going a bit nuts director needed uh how do i do that wait did i just reset everything please don't tell me i just reset everything oh no oh no i think i just reset everything i think i just reset the whole freaking movie so they have to do the whole thing again wait i can i can load the game it didn't auto save wait it's saying it will be ready for release on the 13th of may now and she's trying to quit on the 3rd of october so maybe if i just rush it through like i just forced them to shoot no matter how stressed she is then it might work having a drink no stop drinking shoot it oh it's jim stunt double all right you know what go to rehab real quick see that i should go to rehab and i said go go go all right jim i hope that was enough rehab i'm gonna hold on to you because i need you in the next scene i know this is stressful for you right now you've been just through rehab and you already feel like your life's kind of swirling down the drain but uh you gotta deal with this now too this is what it's like to be a movie star jim you should have seen it coming oh my god it's done okay save a game at pickens pictures production killjoy brilliant so now i can add the voice overs with this gosh i love tv you know what i don't think this lip syncing is actually doing anything let me try that again uh jim pickens yeah link to that don't worry yeah that is definitely not doing anything it must be confusing to listen to two of me okay we're done post-production now let's do a little oh wait we don't really have time to pr it do we i can try i'm almost out of money come on please get some pr on this baby now let us release it final movie rating one and three quarters star what the hell star power poor genre interest poor novelty value superb technology standard how did i get superb how rarely your stars and sets have been featured in recent movies it's because it's my first movie the sets in this movie are clearly in superb condition that's the best thing you could say oh my god i'm minus 170 000. i put in 200 000 in the release budget we haven't even earned that back yet it's going more minus than plus now it's it's hardly earning any money i i paid back the release fee that i paid of 200 000 so aside from that we've earned 20 000 on a 1.2 million dollar budget oh no you know what i think it's time for the studio to close we had one amazing hit a smasher of a of a movie and we're gonna watch that now and then we're gonna we're gonna put this studio into retirement okay without further ado let's watch the movie oh god damn it i put a one in the title and i forgot to take it out that's called killjoy one gosh i love tv i need to bathe i'll return shortly i will take a nap but first i'll go over here because i couldn't edit this out of the scene [Music] i have escaped but that was still scary i am alive don't worry i escaped off screen uh i have an idea thank you jim for taking me to safety i don't think going back in there is a good idea jim nonsense let's go i will carry you jim i really don't want to go back in there now i'm in fire again jim that idea was horrible let me come up with something okay spill the beans on this idea of yours okay well it's quite simple it goes a little like um give me a second fire no fire stop this is your last warning fire or we're coming in to get you oh messy messy messy i must clean up the street now from the fire and you say you were trying to protest the fire to stop yeah gotta go you're a lost cause let's go get that arsonist here we are he should be in that apartment that's blowing up joy i have something to tell you i know it makes no sense but i am the arsonist i wish i could build up to it more but i couldn't uh anyway i have a bone to pick with you get it with the bone the the prop no that was a funny pun though i have to kill you jim please do not kill me i am not dead but now you will be dead when i'm through with you haha i am sorry to be a killjoy at the scene ran out of time i killed your [Music] all right folks that's the end of the video i hope you enjoyed the
