The Most Secure Zombie House in Minecraft

here hmm what wait i came to mikey's today to hang out but hey mikey mikey open up pal oh hey what's up open the door sure oh thank you there huh this is your place by the way why is your house surrounded by a massive fence why yeah for security i made it to protect myself from thieves and zombies and any other terrible things that try to get me i see yeah that makes sense it looks like it'll keep you really safe i know guess what jj i'm planning on making something way cooler than this way cooler all right what about this mikey let's make the strongest security system ever it'll be so strong that we won't be afraid no matter what comes that sounds great jj let's do it okay let's get started on the strongest security house ever built come on [Music] i imagine that this security house would be really modern and new after all if it's going to be the strongest security we have to include lasers and traps yeah that sounds good let's make some strong defenses so we can rest easy what should we make first well since we're talking about security i think we should make something that's worth protecting sounds good there see this treasure chest this will be the main thing we're protecting let's put valuables in oh like what actually i'll check in and see what you put in later i'm still pretty curious about what's inside though let's come back with a plan on how we can protect the treasure i want it to look modern so i'm using quartz blocks oh cool good job let's use some iron blocks too and make sure it's completely surrounded sure and for the overall size i don't think we need to make it too big this is good oh nice here perfect like this yeah just like that i think it's pretty good let's make the house around this big then sure that works i'm excited to see what kind of house we'll end up making it's important to plan ahead but i think i'll focus on the house for now and the security later all right let's make this house modern first we're going to cover the entire floor with quartz blocks amazing good work mikey just like this this looks awesome let's fill it in wow i can already tell that this is going to be incredible yeah it looks pretty fancy so far isn't it great it sure is mikey let's take a quick look at it now now then let's get building yeah let's build up the first floor from around here like this we need to make a couple of pillars that looks good like this i guess let's just fix this block nice nice nice the first floor can be our living room okay that's fun what's next what do you think like this oh what's up i'm making the upper frame oh nice thanks i want to make it more connected over on this side okay okay there it's kind of tough but i want to design the border to be like this sure thing great whoa yes looks good yeah it's looking pretty fancy we finished the first floor so why don't we move on to the second let's start by building the frame first i'm excited to see how it all turns out this house is gonna have the strongest security in the world but it's also going to have a very modern home base it's important to build the house yeah the ceiling will just be half slabs the strongest security let's finish it half slabs very nice this means the frame for the first floor is finally finished and now the base for the second floor is all filled in we did it the second floor should be extra fancy let's do it yeah fancy fancy fancy also the second floor has lots of space we can use up come on you mean like this yeah how's that something along those lines what's next one more here let's make a bunch of rooms on this floor ah that sounds like a good idea let's do it great just like this we separated left and right awesome whoa now then i want to get started on some rooms sounds good this is a technique i got into recently i put the walls in a block away from the pillars that way it looks extra fancy check it out awesome thanks i get it it looks good it really stands out totally we'll do this side like that too right just like that this looks pretty good huh oh very nice there all done looks good yeah i think so too what now hmm okay now that we're done with the second floor i think it's probably a good time to move on to the third floor pretty soon we should still finish the second floor maybe add a garden to make it fancier what kind of house will it be interesting now for the third floor right on the third floor let's make a big curve the first two floors are a little stiff and square so i thought it might be best if we added some curves to the third floor plus i was thinking we could include a giant u-shaped window somewhere around here but how i also want to change the color let's use blackstone we'll make sure the u-shape is enormous like this next i'm going to use a couple of stair blocks to build the bendy part that's good like this i see it looks hard but if we go slow we can do it yeah it's tough i'm starting to get confused even though i'm the one making it there nice like this well as long as it mostly matches we'll be fine it looks like a u see like this okay yeah that's right it looks great it connects perfectly yeah it's pretty awesome so now we just need to make this a little longer it already looks great whoa so cool this is ours yeah we finished building our masterpiece sweet next let's start putting glass up towards the ceiling all right how's that this looks so incredible yeah true now then let's fill it in i'll do this part hmm i'll place them like this it's amazing how fancy we can get in minecraft good job we're almost finished mikey we haven't put in any security yet but the house is still fantastic yeah it's true we don't have any security yet but our first priority is the house okay yeah that's important with that done i'd say our base is finally finished [Music] there now we're just basically putting windows everywhere [Music] i think we should put the bedroom in here [Music] there perfect wow this whole thing looks great we'll probably have to switch out these windows here too done whoa nice looks great let's head back to the first floor and put in some windows here we go like this this is awesome there are we finished now mikey uh-huh let's put a ladder here so it's easier to travel between the first and second floors wow great now then over here let's make this area a bedroom i'll do the bed oh thanks now we can climb up here we need to make an entrance too let's put an iron door in pressure plate uh what's this room supposed to be a study yeah sure why not all right let's do it then will we be able to focus i think we'll focus okay here it's almost done already so let's make an entrance so i was thinking for the entrance we should build it out front yeah let's put some doors here great [Music] we finished the entrance yes i wanna live in here it looks really good already but we still need to work on the interior let's go in here is the treasure chest we gotta protect yeah it's the most important part of our plan we should build a cage around it [Music] whoa no one can reach it now yep that's good now with these iron bars our treasure chest is completely secured we did it i'm glad that's done with next let's build up some more of the interior we'll install our defenses last so for now let's just decorate inside the first floor we still need to put in a living room and a kitchen you can set up the chairs in there and i'll build the kitchen over here okay all right i'm using this fire and making a stove now then good job i'm gonna put a smoker right beside it and then a cauldron [Music] and then finally i'll make a fridge this tripwire hook will be our faucet and we'll just ignore the fact that it's coming out of the fridge alright it looks like we're finally finished wow this really is a full-on kitchen now it's finished did you make a couch over here mikey wow it's amazing we'll need a dining table too so let's make one right here i'll make it like this there because it's so close to the kitchen we can eat our meals right after we cook them so fancy this house is awesome yeah next we should brighten up the place with an end rod fancy house lighting complete now that the end rod is all set up it looks like our living room interior is all finished awesome the second floor is the bedroom what other kind of room should we put up here i know jj a bath we need one to stay clean true let's start building one then let's put some water down here and see what happens it's leaking it is uh oh i'm sorry mikey it's leaking should we make a shower we could i'll build it from the outside oh nice thanks now let's fix these okay that seems good it should work since we did it the proper way where do you think i put the water in this time there nice is that good wow this is the fanciest shower ever this is bad thanks okay we finally finished making the bath and i think it's really good and here's the bedroom the bedroom's important i want to make it relaxing let's put wood in here this room is super elegant yeah that's true here's a lantern oh it looks like it started raining wait you're forgetting an important part of the bedroom hmm look what do you do before you go to bed what read a book right ah that's right yeah books oh yeah i almost forgot about reading how good i that's a lot of bookshelves okay the bedroom's done all done next we should figure out a way to get outside isn't there a way to get outside from here you need to get outside we could make a secret door wait mikey come here could you please pass me some vines sure oh i know i think i know what you're planning i guess we'll see but i'm probably right what's the plan well let's just wait for the vines to grow okay let's get inside but we'll try and go this way all right how was that it's kind of obvious but it's still a secret door yeah it still is just through the vines go through the green green means go right yeah green means go so you can head straight through the vines to enter green means go go through the green green means go all right we finished the inside of the second floor where on the third floor should we set up our study close to the entrance we didn't come all this way to slack off uh wouldn't it be slacking off if we put it by the entrance though that's not slacking off let's make some chairs we'll make one out of a campfire a trapdoor and a splash potion okay after that we'll install a trap door nice it's a little cramped here's your study desk mikey thank you i'll put mine over on this end sweet i'll put it out with a splash potion there i think that should work jj i just had an idea what is it a lectern that's a terrific idea i'll do that too [Music] see it looks like a good place to study what other kind of research equipment can we put in here i'll make a cartography table this place has evolved into an awesome workspace whoever studies here must be really smart right we need something to help our eyes oh should i put a lantern on the desk how's that here cool thanks our eyes will get worse if there's no light studying in the dark is bad for you well it seems like we're all finished in here it looks really great now that it's done all done do you have any idea what we're doing next next oh yeah it's time to upgrade the security isn't it yup security time now let's make some security for the treasure chest i just need to decide on some security devices that we're going to use like what what'll you pick let's dig a hole sure let's do it around the whole thing the whole thing yeah that looks good no are those creepers what are they doing down there it's so dangerous let's just cover them up now we'll put in the lava mikey lava let's put lava everywhere except on the house got it oh just be careful ow gg you're on fire i'm all right okay it's all filled with lava i guess that means we finished our lava moat security how exactly do people get in jumping yeah jumping yeah there see does that mean we're done nope not yet what else we're forgetting something really important mikey we need a beacon and some pink colored glass and finally a few iron blocks here's the plan we're gonna set up laser defenses i don't get it watch this the iron blocks are set up three by three i need three more here great now then i have to place a beacon on top next the beacon will start to light up it's really raining then if we put pink glass on top of the beacon the laser turns pink too wow yeah yeah let's make some more beacons like this one and set them up around the house so there are lasers like that everywhere whoa now that's an awesome idea three by three iron blocks like this all right now it's time for the beacon and the pink block the beacon will fire a pink beam into the sky let's do one more come on the love is falling in it's okay is it working whoa the lava is surrounding it great there it looks perfect this house is incredible we finished the lasers our house is super secure amazing amazing amazing so mikey we actually forgot to build something while we were filling out the inside a pool wow cool let's make a pool even if it's really small i still want a pool let's make it here this is totally awesome i just had an idea jj we can heat up in the lava like this right okay and then cool off in here even if we slip and fall into the lava [Music] we'll just quickly get in the water now all that's left to do is build security for the inside of the house we need to punish any robbers who try and steal from the treasure chest i want to set up an elaborate trap i'm going to put a lever system here and whenever it gets pulled the robbers will fall into a pit this means i'll have to do a lot of digging before the trap is complete they'll fall down here and they'll be stuck inside forever what do you think awesome will we be using any tnt sure let's make a hole with that scary oh well let's do it yeah i'll be brave let's go come on whoa will that work hmm i think so whoa i think this should be deep enough when you pull a lever you're usually one block away so i want the floor to fall through around here that makes sense right here then hmm what's next [Music] ah i'll have to put some redstone dust along there there like this we'll continue the redstone circuit here now a piston piston let's see here [Music] i'll set up the repeater and run the redstone through oh no the lava that's bad uh oh nice we brought the redstone line over no problem off by one block the signal gets interrupted so we need another repeater there all right let's try this one more time okay this is tricky it ended up being a bit of a mess almost here now all we need is the signal let's connect the redstone line and oh lastly let's close up this hole okay let me explain what i just did do you see all that redstone dust down there yep it's all wiring everything's connected this lever wow it activates the pistons below and the reason i did that is because i'm going to cover this entire contraption in sand so that nobody sees the pitfall coming i get it because sand is oh i know okay in minecraft blocks will float in the air even if there's nothing underneath it but if there aren't any blocks to hold up sand then gravity brings it to the ground it fell that's right oh if the pistons go back to the walls the sand will fall down whoever's trying to steal our treasure will hit this switch like this and the floor falls out from underneath them oh wow that's the coolest thing ever all right that means now we need to start thinking about where they're gonna land when they fall huh what's this when the robbers fall down they'll think oh treasure and try to open it then bang is that tnt i can't believe you put a trap chest on top of the tnt awesome it's not a chest but it sure looks real ah perfect now then we're finished yeah the pitfall trip is complete we also put in that dummy chest for good measure okay i think we have the best security possible oh wait i forgot something what let's go to the study what does this study need what what what what huh a cat a cats really i guess it's nice to study with a cat on your lap you think this is a good amount yeah maybe that's too many more mine too many really oh wait mikey they'll fall into the lava we can't let them out right i can use a command to get all the cats back inside tp once i activate it i can pull the cats towards me no way that was pretty cool huh we're finished that's right yeah we did it [Applause] now i'll explain everything yeah explain whoa so on the outside we put in some pink laser beacons careful i don't want to touch them right or you'll take damage these beams are also a really good way to intimidate any nearby enemies yeah that's true next up we have a lava moat surrounding the entire building nice any zombies or spiders or creatures that can't jump will fall straight in like this and if we fall in the pool's right there wow so strong we'll cool off right away okay next we go inside the living room the kitchen's over there our couch is the best place to relax under our fancy light source it's like art yeah like art here's our treasure chest the treasure however is still a mystery only mikey knows what's inside yeah i think it's good enough for now great if a thief shows up he'll think to himself oh if i pull the lever i'll unlock the cage and i can get a hold of the treasure but when he pulls it [Music] ouch perfect he'll fall through the sand and then think to himself another chest lucky and then he'll open it but that's what will trigger the tnt underneath it wow just like that now then second floor the bedroom we have bookshelves a bed and over here a bath we can relax in the bath while looking around at the tranquil views outside oh yeah over here we actually have a secret door it's covered in vines but it's not real green means go yeah you can just go through the vines outside here's the ladder that leads to the third floor over here is our study if we open the door the cats will escape so let's go in this way oh nice this looks great yeah there's a study space right as you enter my desk is over here but it's hard to tell because it's covered in cats and mikey's desk is there yep that's right perfect do you want to test what would happen if we got attacked by zombies sure if our security works it means all our hard work paid off okay mikey why don't you go ahead and switch the game to survival mode i switched it let's wait till night the lasers and lava make our house so bright at night mikey i'm making zombies how's that no problem yeah come here oh great i can just relax in the pool oh easy peasy oh these zombies seem like a piece of cake huh are you okay aren't you worried you'll fall into the lava huh hurry get out of there go oh no what are you doing why didn't you just jump into the pool well as long as we're in here we'll be safe from zombies we could even relax on the couch if we wanted to this is the best house ever looks like we really made the ultimate security house we'll be fine no matter how many zombies or robbers show up we showed them if you enjoyed
