[Applause] [Applause] so [Applause] uh [Applause] so so so [Applause] [Applause] so [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] oh [Applause] so [Applause] ah [Applause] uh [Music] [Applause] [Music] so [Music] [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] uh so [Applause] [Laughter] so [Applause] so [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] oh [Music] [Applause] it's almost firing up low compression might be it needs some um lateral gas ports above it to get more pressure in there to seal better might be that uh might be my head is not sealing good enough there's no o-ring there i haven't got the right size yet i ran aluminium on aluminium heads before without problems at least without leaking so bad that it won't start i made some i started making some shims to shim the heads or the insert inside the head thinking i might not have made the right clearance but on on closer inspection it is definitely sitting lower than the cover book my newly welded drill starter one-way clutch thing i can buy this on the built emma they're not expensive i've got one but it's currently at uh in arkansas with the moped dick just fell out the piece here so this is pretty much trash let's smear on some goo here and check compression again and see if it's better see if it's the head that's not sealing and try to figure out a way to start it without this thing michael milne thank you thank you for the for the welder again and sorry i just remembered you sent me a mail and i haven't replied yet but thank you i need practice you heard that saying pearls before swine hmm not much better [Applause] there's a lot of gray grits in the oil and i've measured the bore and it seems to be the same dimension as before 39.9 millimeters the ring though the gap has grown from 0.05 millimeters to 0.4 millimeters i think it's too soft the ring is too soft it's also too malleable i think it's not springy enough and too soft so it's too soft needs to be harder i think at least the surface needs to be harder the springiness i'm not quite sure if that's a problem but it is more malleable than my other rings so i can stretch it out and it will retain that shape and that might be a problem in the board if it stays compressed for a while it might lose its tension a static tension is not that important it is for starting though but softness is a problem here because uh so my testing now has basically ground down the ring not the ending of this video you were hoping for not what i was hoping for but i'm happy i knew it wouldn't be a cakewalk see you next time
