The Most DRAMATIC Game I've EVER Played.. (Goalkeeper POV)

right Lads welcome back to another Match Day video and trust me when I tell you this is guaranteed the most dramatic video I have ever uploaded on this channel this week we are skipping the league action for a cup quarterfinal against a very tough opponent who we have actually played against a couple of times before this season away and since it is a cup game manager has decided to give young under 17 goalkeeper Jack his first senior call up Jack has been training with us since the start of the Season while playing with his under 17 team and you might have seen him in a couple of previous videos before uploaded onto this channel he is a brilliant keeper and well capable to be able to fit right into the senior fixture but before we get into this game I noticed Jack was wearing a fairly old pair of one gloves so I had to fix him up with a new pair right before he heads into his first senior game how long have you had the gloves a year a year nice there for you nice one look at him he's all smiling now Jesus they they look way nicer now look you happy boy so with a bit of a warm up and encouraging words before the [Music] game the refi Blows the Whistle to start off the match and Jack is pretty much brought straight into the action from the first whistle as the ball is played back to him and he deals with it [Music] well only one minute into the game we get what is a perfect starts as young J another under 17 player called up for this game takes a strike from outside the box and smashes it into the back of the net but the opposition Do not drop their heads and do start to get more into the game with a handful of chances but Jack stays focused extremely vocal and commands his box well which helps out the back line a lot [Music] relax relax relax there John after a silly fou just on the corner of the Box the opposition have a very decent chance to grab an equal so Jack organizes his wall and gets ready for the free kick and then this happens this way boys this way keep going keep going keep going keep going keep going one more on per what a double save just 15 minutes into your first senior game from Jack but only 30 seconds later the worst thing you could think of happened [Music] love it after such a great double save a high ball comes in and Jack rightfully comes out of his box to clear the ball but just before the ball Falls to him he slips leaving him with realistically no other option than to claw the ball away from the attacker just outside his box and the refi gives him a straight red but that's football everyone makes mistakes and these things happen Jack was actually doing the right thing in being a positive goalkeeper coming off his line to clear the ball all it was just extremely unfortunate that he lost his footing right at the moment he did and I can definitely say at the time sitting on the sideline I was not expecting this to happen so when I saw jacket sent off I had to get set get ready quick to get in the right mindset and complete this game so I was really brought straight into the action with a free kick right on the edge of the Box hey four 10 turn yeah yeah as he for now just hold col col close one step yeah as you are as you are yeah [Music] relax let relax [Music] all right let's pick it off come on come on just 5 minutes after coming on the opposition equalized with once again another unfortunate situation the ball is whipped into the box and Keith trying to clear it unfortunately directs the ball into his own net bringing the game to one all after a quick kit change we resumed play and the goal really seemed to wake up the opposition who seemed hungry to add another goal watch watch get quick quick left shoulder left shoulder watch right watch right watch right Kitty it's done [Music] away turn up the ball turn up the ball ni JY yeah and just like that the Riff Blows the Whistle to finish off the first half and look let's be honest it's a perfect time for me to tell Sean yeah [Applause] oh my God sor [Music] away out get out to [Applause] it are you having a I 30 minutes into the second half now and the opposition managed to tap in a goal with a Freeman at the back post luckily the ref made the right decision after seeing that I came out to punch the ball but one of their players elbowed me in the side of the head and obstructing me from getting anywhere near the ball but I don't think they were too happy about that one with 15 minutes left the opposition really did seem like they were throwing everything they had forward to try and grab a last minute winner stand stand well that was never the threee I don't know about that but elbow the back of the head said keep we have to stick together don't we I know I just it was was a m lucky get out that's all right that's all right that's ridiculous let me just pause it right here because I just want to watch this back one more time to show you how ridiculous this dive was I think this might be up there with one of the worst Dives I have ever seen in my life playing football and apparently the ref thought so too because he gave it free to us and a yellow card to the player for diving away [Music] all right straight to penalties no extra time in this cup hopefully we can win out on penalties it's been a great performance first need a chance go to pop or seminal good scalp okay so who wants some one da two confidence be confidence four give me five I want the fifth one Don't Be Afraid Bo one two Alan Jak you know far going ni now now and just like that we managed to go through to the semifinal of this cup and it always does feel that bit better when you go through on penalties oh yeah oh yeah ah God I saw you in London you got those oh yeah yeah yeah hold on you know what let me sh the lights hand first come back there yeah hold ons thank you H thanks no Panic Lads go on don't not to me ridiculous
