thank you welcome back to another video guys today we're here in the F-16 we're fighting a flanker and this time we're doing the high off bore sight a9x versus aa11 Archer fight that's a high off foresight Hobbs uh whatever you want to call that this is kind of what you would expect to see in a modern environment if these two aircraft were ever to get to emerge it would you know be something like this both of those high off foresight capabilities and we're obviously going to defeat we have to defeat his first missile I'm gonna use the split s to use G's to pull my nose around and we're gonna have to defeat his first uh IR Wes which is going to be right here he's going to shoot that you see me dropping traffic flare there's the missile launch and it goes for flare what I really want to do is raid around so quickly that his missile can't turn and get me is why I'm also trying to use gravity to achieve that it's just my theory I'm not entirely sure if it'll work but it works so far that missile goes for flare that was lucky by the way if you want to fly the flanker or the F-16 I got the 10 discount codes for you there new players still getting 50 off and we are in the one Circle with this flanker right now even though I guess I technically could take them to Circle actually I can't he's got my six now I should have done it before now now we're stuck all right all right you know what I need to get myself into the sun so like you can't see me when he tries to shoot me watch this here we go in the sun Sun's right in front of me shooting at me the sound like this trying to get the overshoot by slowing down he still hasn't hit me oh cross my nose oh wow oh my God what is this fight I still have two nine X's by the way but he's jamming the Wes so tight right now that there's no way I'm getting a 9x off here maybe a python so it could go loop around and come and hit him but pretty cool so he's pretty clear we got my six here so things are not going well oh my God all right I need to get him out in front somehow but I don't really know how I'm going to idle I'm scared because I might fall out of the sky and hit the ground but we're going for it that kind of helped a little bit slightly more neutral now out in front is he out in front this I would take a 9x shot here but he's in the Sun right he's above me come on come on man come on F-16 don't let me down now he's back on my six oh this is such a bad place to be against the flanker he's got my six so hard right now foreign I almost had a neutral there you see this is why you don't want to be in a one Circle fight with a flanker all right I'm desperate now I'm just going to idle oh okay there he goes out in front oh yeah yeah come on yes oh I just saw that right wing off and tail wow it was like a buzz saw you see that wow I can't believe I won that a little bit better gun aim and I would have never won that fight I was nose countering pretty hard using the sun though so I wasn't making it easy [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] okay honestly in the middle of a bfm fight if you have the wherewithal to put yourself in the sun it is dramatically helpful it's crazy how much it helps you know obviously you can defeat the irwes using the Sun you can make it very difficult for them to see you it makes it difficult for them to see their you know their HUD their reticle and you might even be so obstructed by the Sun that he doesn't see his closure and he overshoots that's possible too I've seen that happen into the merch here once again we're using gravity to pull our nose around as fast as we can we want to try to get the nose to come around fast enough that that missile can't turn with me it's quite a big ask though but that's what we're trying to do there it is I think it works all right possible Fox two-tone here there it is Fox 2. see if that thing can turn with them it oh it tried wow it really tried there wow it explodes in between the two of us that 9x really tried there okay he's gonna try to force the one Circle uh not a good place for me to be we both have uh one missile left high off bore sight this is not developing well because he's above me there's the missile right there got it let's get out of here oh well that's why uh you don't open up angles for a flanker especially if he has a high off board side Fox too we won't make that mistake again [Music] we all knew that the F-16 would struggle in this kind of you know fight because it was designed way back in the day when gunfighting was still the thing and so they favored the two Circle fight these modern aircraft like the flanker and stuff they favor one Circle because all they have to do in the merge is point their nose and shoot this high off four side Fox 2 right um I think the F-16 is still competitive because the idea is that it will yes it still wants to force the two-circle fight in this situation it can but the idea is you're trying to get that nose around so quick and rate so quickly that his missile can't turn with you and you know by extension you're jamming there was in a two-circle at least you're trying to there it is they tried to turn missed let's try to get his nose wow it's tight and then from here let me keep this uh Wes jammed and see if we can maybe at this point like he's still Superior in the one Circle don't get me wrong but I might be able to get my 9x to help me out a little bit here or he might cross my nose oh he's desperate now he just opened angles for me look at that you can't dump your nose like that tone but he's trying to come back around because he kind of trying to keep that was Jam cross my nose right here nice hit his nose cone off and dead flanker oh that aggressive nose dump man it got me killed in the last round it got him killed in this ground very dangerous you cannot open angles like that for the guy you're fighting with basically a death sentence [Music] [Music] defeating that initial IR was really seems like it's the most important part of this whole fight for the F-16 if uh if the F-16 is going to get killed it's going to be right there and then that first missile but if you can defeat that first missile it seems like the F-16 is you know somewhat competitive at least with the 9x you can jam that wedge you can you know try to out maneuver the flanker and again you don't need to beat him into one Circle you just need to push them off enough that your 9x can do some of the fighting for you okay let's go merge once again using gravity here he's obviously pulling the Cobra too to get that fox to shut off Fox 2 doesn't track nice that was actually jammed pretty nicely there and this will be the last fight of the day so I hope I can at least get the victory here okay stay with them uh oh did I just see him use differential thrust hold on hold this for me real quick bud the friends will thrust this yeah you see it right there it's the 9x doing the work there I was never gonna get nose on for a gunshot especially with my speed and that kind of situation against the flanker okay good fight [Music] thank you [Music]
