pickup and it stops the clock with 105 and Adrian Peterson wide open man but he missed the Santa Jenko third and one with a minute to go for looking find someone short and that's percy harvin that's a Louisiana State Percy Harvin I know it's at first half but you got to turn to try to get to the sideline with his speed looking to make a play farm wants to get everybody said and Spike it and he does the Fox stops with 40 seconds and the Vikings still 54 yards away three-man rush car pens time he's going to be way downfield for Sidney Rice she's out of atoms he caught it but he was out of ours they gave him plenty of room and now 33 seconds remaining and again the Vikings with three wideouts Peterson with great speed everybody out bar goes back over the middle the percy harvin he's got to close down the clock it again 20 seconds the Gagan lined up with spike in time gotta clock it and they stopped the clock 16 seconds and the Vikings are 39 yards away turned into the touchdown tested Taylor in the backfield quickly outside the Barbarian trying to get to the sideline he does gets out of bounds at the 42 short of a first down 12 seconds remaining 32 yards away four wide receivers come on for the Vikings there goes in is a pair of wide receiver Chester Taylor in the back everybody else does to the endzone for a touchdown dude upstairs both feet in on to the football would a play by Craig Favre buying time delivers this ball let's watch the end line left foot right inside the line he did drag his toe did you see the little rubber part rubber particles bounce up off the field turf this is going to be a touchdown and look at that throw left foot down now watch the right toe drag right there that's a touchdown oh my goodness that's why you get Brett Favre on your football team what a play by the quarterback and again a terrific catch and Greg Lewis in the game they had an injury to Greg Renault to Rena Renaud Greg Lewis gets out there and comes up with the play of the game you have a quarterback that's almost 40 years old extending plays and throwing a perfect perfect pass for the win with no timeouts and did he gun that last one in Greg Lewis who was came on as the fourth wide receiver has played very little in the game goes up and makes a fantastic catch that's why you get veterans like Greg Lewis on your football team when you got to get him in the game because of an injury they know what to do in the big spots the all-star look at his feet look at his feet left foot just inside tracks the right toe man you feel so bad for San Francisco because the effort they put up you got to wonder did he have full control now all the way past the ground I think that's the next thing that they're looking at upstairs red bar hitting Greg Lewis in a dramatic stunning playing with two seconds remaining in the game and right now being reviewed by the officials upstairs and being sent down with the referee Jerome Bolger having looked at it under the hood downstairs Saturday for an outfit after reviewing the play hula feel save boy what a game one I'm supposed to bend in somewhat like I did but I saw Brett going that way too so I like well I probably can't get the ball this far over this one so let me go see what's gonna happen over here so I just started running that one towards him and he was looking downfield and doing little boy I didn't know who caught him I just saw one of our guys streaking across I think I've kind of just pumped and he used to light slid around the obvious thing would be dropped back a few steps throw it as high as you can and endzone but once again that's why I was trying to to get down closer to where you can drill them either way it's an all-or-nothing type of plight once again I didn't know who lost Rican so I just throw as hard as I could the guy does what he does and I was kind of loser laughing on the side we like just people access deep red and silver frogs that I call them silver fox came through and that's why we got in here make plays like that and you know what's our victory we have a practice that one can assure you that's pretty amazing about him they take a catch stay in bounds all of the above he was you know really following my eyes I thought that was pretty impressive everybody has the opportunity to get the ball and play on the air but there's four verticals going down the field and he just finds where he wants to throw it in you need to be there fortunately all day today Hey bird down 12 seconds to go in the game Niners lead by four far back to pass pumps to the left eight seconds left he gets away from the pressure fires to the end zone the Minnesota Vikings and improbable victim

What was amazing about this play is that I always expect it to happen to the Vikings. I never expected it from the Vikings.

Still give my roommate shit about this. We watched the entire game and before the last play he "well its basically over, this sucks" and walked into his room. He ran out when he heard my cheers of joy.

I'll never let him forget it.

I was in the second row of the upper deck directly above Greg Lewis. It was my first Vikings game.

I honestly didn't even celebrate when it happened initially, after years of being a Viking fan I realized plays like this didn't happen for us, they happened against us. There was not a doubt in my mind it was going to be over turned. So happy to be wrong.
