The Mesa Tower Challenge! | Mineclash

hello everyone and welcome to a special episode of mineclash i guess it's not i guess it's just a normal episode of minecraft no it's special it's the best challenge we're returning the best one in the series days what is it what are we doing it's exciting because we are combining two of our like beloved things one being the tower challenge in mineclash oh i thought you were gonna say the other one first i yeah we're on our world again we said we were gonna do a mine clash here when we ended the series we're finally doing we're finally doing it so if you didn't know if you're just like only a minecraft viewer grazer and i did an amazing series there's 50 episodes it's called the far lands where we basically got every single advancement in the game and came out here to the far lands which is pretty cool and our house is up there we gotta go see it at the end of the episode okay of course we do okay um but anyway what we're gonna do is we're gonna do a mesa themed tower challenge but i thought well i can't just pick any mesa we should do it in the mesa far lands because there's already a giant mesa tower that took us forever to build do you think we're gonna get taller than that no i don't because the rules of the tower challenge are that you have 25 minutes to collect as many different blocks as you can but oh my gosh i just had the oh i just had the idea for the coolest block i've ever oh my gosh wait i don't see where you're looking you're like looking in the sky over here where's the cool oh you're gonna die when i place this block no you can't use it i deny that usage of the block i'm doing it i'm doing it it's gonna blow your mind all right anyway so the point is that you have 25 minutes to collect as many different blocks as you can and then we will tower up on our respective uh colored terracotta blocks and whoever gets to the highest y level wins but you can only use a block once i love that part because we block up at the same time until one can't go any further it's so much fun to reveal i think the strategy is really going to be trying to make use of all of the clay or terracotta i mean that opens up a whole this is 1.12 so it's the world of color update yes so you've got glazed terracotta you've got concrete you've got concrete powder oh we're not giving any coal we have to find our own coal that's i yeah yeah yeah i meant to give us coal i meant to and i didn't i also like kind of want to give us dies but i guess that's cheating no cheating cheating cheating oh bone meal you were gonna do perma day and we would not get bone meal i guess if you're caving yeah i i still say stick with the perma day i need food i need food all right so these are our items the defaults it's very like back in the old day type style mineclash we got our heads here got an ender chest nice simple setup well we're using the ender chest because it's christmas yeah and all of the where are they if you look at the chest in a cart there yeah right here their christmas presents yay merry christmas and we wanted to totally not make you think we're recording this on christmas it's super not christmas right now though because i'm waiting until i finally grizzle this is exciting for me not for you i'm sorry oh by the time this video comes out my second book is now in bookstores it's called wild rescuers escape to the mesa it's in bookstores now please go buy it all the links will be in the description and now back to the challenge oh a couple of rules too you can't go up to the house and like get blocks that we had okay so it's gotta be like everything over there is off that would be so easy yes it would all right so you ready i can't wait to beat you grazer okay here we go i'm nervous i'm nervous i'm nervous okay on your mark get get ready to set your timer i'm ready and go all right here we go oh my gosh bloxbox wait what okay we don't even so we we did the whole christmas thing because we didn't want to see the christmas chests but i think we might have to get chests going because i have to get like put my blocks somewhere i can't keep them all in my inventory well you can put them in your enter chest yeah but that's not only gonna fit so many you know you're gonna get that many blocks i am going to beat you this is really hard because it's like oh do i just go for you know the things that i'm immediately seeing like you know wood and stone and all that stuff or do i just focus on i'm making it colorful first because that's the point of being here so that's my goal i want to make it all nice and colorful i have my texture pack on from farlands and i think it's kind of messing me up oh did you put it on that's right you had it i had to put it on but like this is like a default challenge do you know what i mean yeah i need to be able to think clearly about like good use that minecraft no i'm taking it off okay and then is there any i feel like i'm i feel like i'm wasting a lot of time no you're not you're good i've been wasting time because it's so overwhelming it's just so many blocks i agree that you could get i who won the last i think we've each got a tower challenge in our bag i don't remember but what i do know is that whenever i meet people and they love mine clash they love the tower challenge it's crazy yes tower challenges are dope okay i think i'm just gonna mine like a ton of this block i feel like i'm going way too slow because i feel like i can use this block then to make other blocks do you know what i'm saying i know what you're saying i know what you're saying i'm i'm utilizing the far lands right now you do what you want you do stacy okay let's see here let's not forget about this block though oh wait i don't have enough okay dude there's too many there's too many blocks there's a lot of blocks grazer you're gonna get it because you're smart and you just know no i'm i'm not i'm not able to like really think it through okay there we go oh gosh the water makes it so slow we're mining it's a little bit of a disadvantage because we mined so much ore here in the far lands for our beacon yes we did but i mean oh my gosh i'm so not i just tried to 1.13 swim yes that's what i've been doing isn't it so slow how do we play that for five years i need iron i want just some cool if i'm going to lose oh no you're over here yeah i'm mining down here in the seas i didn't know you went this way yeah i went to the farlands there's only one farland oh thanks for the gold ore oh did i give it to you where are you floating oh i can't i can't swim in this all right i'm coming into the far lands to look for iron oh my gosh we only have 90 it's already been six minutes we only have 19 minutes left stacy no i haven't i don't have like a single die i got some cool ones so now i'm good i'll just get all the like not cool ones they're still different blocks sure they'll still tower be up higher come on i need to break this yeah me too i gotta get up gotta get up come on come on oh my gosh it's so slow it's so slow yeah not enjoying being in the water on 112 anymore i wasted a lot of time in the freaking water that was not a good idea i did too i'm coming back get out of here zombo i think you want you know what you hear at my challenge start no why are you inviting yourself here you know what there are some mobs i think i do need to kill this guy so get that and then nice block over here i might just travel out a little bit because i know that they're like i know what's around us i know there's a spruce forest that way like over there i'm not gonna tell you but you probably know is a fence gate count to the block right that counts as a block i don't know that should count as a block anything that blocks you up one huh yeah but i don't think i think what it is though is that you can't jump on it like it won't let you oh so no we're not counting it then you'd have to go into creative mode to place it do you know what i'm saying because you can't oh yeah yeah you're right you're probably right you can't jump onto it you're right you're right stacey hey do you know what i hate like a lot what do you hate stace is 1.12 skeletons 1.12 skeletons are the best they go everywhere you know you don't even know where they're gonna go and they just go all right let me get some shears because you didn't even think about getting leaves probably i didn't think about getting leaves i still don't have iron okay i need to start putting like the blocks in my ender chest this is so confusing oh yeah this ender chest is not going to last long do we have time to smell after it's just what we have at the end of the timer that's like uh no let's give ourselves time to smell oh i've been wasting time smelting all right i've been smelting too so then never mind never mind this don't smell for now then just give us many blocks i think that's what we did last time i'm getting confused already okay let's smelt you throw away you oh this is a block you probably won't think of i don't like when you say that and then yeah you're never gonna think of that one and then i can smelt that one too for another one yeah yeah that should be enough gosh i forgot how much like concentration these tower challenges like i know i'm not even commentating i'm just like hello stacey sorry i forgot i forgot about the video i just have really focused on winning here um okay so i've got that now and then if i do [Music] this did that and i can do that i need a couple more of those and i did like gray like gray oh no you did light gray too yeah yeah of course i didn't think you'd think of light gray terracotta why would it not it's like literally everywhere i know i didn't i don't know come on stacy are you underestimating my intelligence no would never all right good i wish i had left everything like in um order of the terracotta so that i can like easily see which terracottas i've used and which i haven't you know yeah yeah yeah yeah no i've kind of just done the natural ones i haven't really focused on getting dyes really i'm gonna have to make a chest but i don't really have enough wood to do so i don't want to go in the water the stinks the stinks okay yo i literally need a couple of pieces of iron i do too why do you need to go and swim down beneath for this because i'm not seeing anything on the surface raided the mine shafts everything about it yeah it's all gone yeah no it's all gone i just found a pocket of ore it's not iron no so i'm guessing slabs don't count it has to be a full block well obviously grazer i mean i know it's been a long time since we've done a is this a spawner i think it's been like three years since we did a tower challenge to be completely honest it's serious there's no way in a while i think it was back in like 2015 where we were doing those i just thought of a whole other block that i hadn't been doing and now i'm like panicking can we give ourselves an hour what no i feel like i would i feel like i'd be really good shape if i had an hour yeah i think i would too i think the challenge is to get it in the time span that you have i know it's just like i'm not going to be very mesa-e because i'm not going to get that many dies you know you know how long an hour is i do you would literally have every block that you could conceivably get that's not true that is not true no it's not you wouldn't have the dragon egg minus that you would can you stack on top of a dragon egg uh i don't know i don't know if it disappears or not where is all of the iron we've literally taken it off i know i know i still don't have iron i just abandoned that oh my gosh we only have 10 minutes left no dude 25 minutes how does it just go dude i thought that was going to be a lot of time thanks stace we've got 10 minutes left wait no i mean think grace is just okay so you are getting the dyes you're finding them and then no i don't have that many dies that was what i was saying was my issue did i do this yet i don't think i did i'm i'm gonna go out a little bit because i assume at the end of the timer we just get tp'd back or something um yeah we will yeah you can you can go out oh how do you make this again there we go it's gonna come down to like who got the most dies and like thought outside of the box dies i haven't even like gotten a diet to be honest like i don't have and i really don't have any dyes oh i'm an idiot huh nothing i'm just i'm dumb well yeah we've gotten squid insects yeah uh-huh yeah you didn't no i did that i got him in the far lands i didn't see all right yeah you just reminded me of that don't no like when you were like where i'm an idiot i was like all right what die is actually possible to get right now and that's the only one i thought of right no there was another one there's another one no there was not yelly i guess yeah i killed a skelly and i didn't get a bone i just took that in i did ah lucky oh here's a here's a chest that we never opened what do you what's in here what i can't open this i got a name tag name tag does not count as a block unfortunately do i just staircase for iron like is that what i'm doing at this point how much time is left wait why do you need to dye clay white if it already comes white in the mesa you don't why do you need white dye for them what do you need white dye for them i don't know what do you need white dye for well it's clay the other thing is wool but where are you gonna get wool from there's no sheep around here nope there sure is not there's just clay then the terracotta yep what would you finding anything yeah but you're gonna you got that many bones what do you think about a bowl no bone block no but that's a good idea i hadn't even thought of a bone block wait what are you talking about then i'm not telling you because that would be helping you finally iron oh i thought you were saying fine i'll tell you no you wish i see you down there and i see the chest that you found name tags and hello stace hello grace i'm not telling you no locker in my pickaxe says low durability stop there we go if i get stuck if i kick those brakes right now i would get so mad it's about to break crazy stop where are you my pickaxe has like five swings left okay all right all right all right you know i'm just gonna take one of these chests so i can make a double chest what do you need bone meal for you're driving me crazy what do you need it for i have it i can't tell you what do you need it for what i need to tell you is it bone meal or bones it's bone meal obviously the only thing i can think of is a bone block that's it great then great think of that then think of that bone block oh wait can you make concrete in this version is that a thing oh my gosh i haven't even done that and there's gravel everywhere that that's the only other thing i could think of that's not what i was thinking of but you're why i literally think i said concrete in the intro and then i just completely forgot concrete i have no idea what you want i'm gonna lose all well no i just thought of it too can i make another furnace like is that allowed uh you're loud right furnace can be its own block remember oh thank you i should put a furnace in my thing yes how much time do we have left we only have four minutes ah what what are you doing what's that noise so wait so with all the blocks that we have you're giving us the opportunity to make as many as we can once the child's over right is that true because that changes everything then this is all about just gathering that's what i was thinking or is it just smelting well you gotta tell me now cause we have four minutes left is it all about gathering and then you can still do stuff oh my gosh okay fine i gotta leave then grazer it's up to you if you don't want to do that i'm cool with abiding by the rules no no no we can do that yeah we can do that hopefully i think of stuff that you did not i like i'm sure that i have thought of things that you have not but like i don't have the time to actually do it um yeah people who are yelling at me to get this book this blog i'm sorry i'm terrible i'm probably not yelling at you i bro they probably are i'm probably missing like a ton of blocks there's just so many in the game that there's no way i think of all of them no way okay yeah i know same how much time do we have two minutes two minutes this doesn't even makes oh i'm just gonna go for this oh i'm gonna go for this never mind okay i need to break this asap though because i'm gonna die i'm really like confused on what you need bone meal for well you're not going to get it now anyway because it's not going to get it now so you might want to just tell me what i needed it for now are you sure that you can't get bone meal still no there's no way i'm getting it at this point well did you get ink sacks yeah well so then you can just make like light gray dye ah i don't know i feel like if i got that many dye i would just make a bone meal i'd just make a bone block bone blocks are sick you know yeah bone blocks are sick and that would have been great all right it's the final countdown i came all the way up here for like one leaf block got it i should use the rest of my bone meal i'm so scared that you're gonna completely wreck me i feel like i did so bad at this and i knew i was gonna do bad at this the minute you said it was the tower challenge i was like wait where's i need a flower i need a poppy where's a poppy oh gosh wait i gotta find a poppy before the end of the i gotta find a poppy third do i use another bone meal to try to get a poppy i'm gonna do it yes i got one no oh oh i didn't get my secret block i didn't get my secret block hold on grazer how much oh yeah it's about to ring probably i think wait wait wait i can do it got it i got it at the last second that's it so okay so everything that's in your inventory now is what you get to use all right so now we have a couple of minutes to get our things in order yep oh gosh i'm so nervous man i feel like i totally bombed this i also didn't do fantastic oh oh wait a minute i'm out of coal oh she can't make a coal block no i have a coal block but like i can't smelt my other stuff oh you could i would let you just take some coal really i mean it's only fair otherwise you're just not gonna have is that fair i think so because you were gonna give us coal to start with anyways remember that is true there are some blocks i thought of that maybe you didn't oh oh my gosh i accidentally got another block that i didn't even think of you wanna tell me what that is coarse dirt no i'm gonna now make this into oh you only get one rose red uh yeah oh okay anyway i have some i have some of this okay so did i make i didn't make okay okay so i didn't make one of didn't make that do i want to do this because then i get two so yeah i want to do that so then i can do that my heart stays my heart what's wrong with your heart i'm just a little nervous though i've got quite a collection of stuff in here i mean it's not bad but it's nothing like crazy good do i want to do that i think that might be it for grace the fact that you're still going no no i'm just like double checking stuff at this point so we're not counting fence posts that's out of the question i don't think we can count fence posts because you can't keep towering unless you count it as like no you can't you can't jump up and place the fence post and land on okay do you know what i'm saying yeah so that's what constitutes a block right you have to be able to continue to tower man i now that i look at it it's like it's a it's a good amount but it's not as many as i thought i think i'm done but like i feel like there's something else i can do and i just don't know yes i know i'm like what am i missing here what am i how do you make you have to surround the wool like or is it just for wall no you have to surround the wall right with to make dyed wool oh no just put a bowl in the dye yeah oh cool oh your wool your wool might beat me then i don't think i knew that yeah i'm looking at my whole thing here people are yelling at me which is fine you like already know that they're yelling at you yeah i know because like i know i'm probably missing something here but i i can't see it nor do am i going to figure it out at this point in time that's the same with me like i have that i have that like i've looked over everything in my inventory and what i can make with each thing and okay yeah i'm done all right here we go so now empty the rest of your inventory back into the ender chest and then take out as much as you can fit into your inventory oh okay well oh yeah so have we ever had items that we could well never mind no no what crafting table regular sand regular sand furnace diorite regular dirt oh my regular dirt's in my chest down there so i won't take a break yet i'll just go glass all right i got it oh okay the colorful stuff um i've got light gray terracotta light gray i got white tarragona white okay these towers are actually going pretty cool yellow terracotta yellow para just regular terracotta orange oh mine's in the chest down there so i'll do gold block red terracotta oh mine's in the chest again right here oh wait i went ahead of you black terracotta i had put down gray terracotta okay and then black glazed terracotta i've got just black terracotta all right and then white glazed terracotta hey cactus green is a thing oh what no you're too smart that was the thing when i said i'm dumb it was cactus green then you can also get green glazed terracotta and uh green dang it brick i could have made brick i had enough clay to make brick and i literally thought it through and was like i could make this into bricks and then i could make a flower pot but a flower pot is not a block that's what went through my mind and i forgot about bricks okay i've got white glazed terracotta uh yellow glaze terracotta black glazed terracotta red glazed terracotta where's my um whatever that was yeah what is that i don't know i think it's orange turquoise iron ore um gray terracotta leaf light gray terracotta gold ore i need to go down and get more stuff from my chest now okay let's do it all right can we should we just go into creative mode whoops i was like she already went in i'm at the stronghold all right ready leaf block dirt black wool clay pink terracotta orange terracotta block of gold you won that's all i yellow terracotta no pink terracotta no red terracotta oh i can't upload this light gray wool you're gonna be yelling lime glass lime terracotta regular glass pink glass yellow wool green wool clay gold ore and then the last one that i'm not sure counts water block you completely demolished me i am at y level 121. what's your y level my y level is 107. you beat me by 14 blocks it came down i think to the fact that i remembered wool yeah and i remembered green in my defense grazer i built a whole shop on the deep end that was like yeah terracotta terracotta i would have been fine losing by like two or three but i lost by 14 it really is sad like i should have just i should have been nice and just been like i had one more block this youth razor and just like to just you know left everything else in my inventory okay i am back in zigzag i had to go into default other no what are you doing no not before my thumbnail not before my thumbnail no no not until a thumbnail is made raiser but listen let's go to our house yeah let's go check out what's up i room came out so well like everywhere series is so good there's lands where they put lands lands is over here in this little room look our court we have three new chorus fruit we only had one you don't want to see your cool dog lance yeah where's lance he's over here lance wait wait where did he go he just teleported to me i think i saw him for a second oh yeah there he is he's here now oh my gosh look at all of this no you're trying to take away from my miserable loss oh that's right i smoked you you did no more tower challenges it's banned no more look look at look at the height of us compared to our little minuscule towers down below that we built for the challenge oh that's so cute like we weren't even close do you know what we should do what i don't i almost don't want to say this but like you know how we did like a five hour mine clash yes what if we did like a five hour tower challenge ah no you're throwing it out there so now it's gonna become real now it's gonna become a thing in the comments about the five hour tower challenge but after a certain point in five hours it's like wouldn't you like hit like an asymptote of like you don't have any more i'm sorry did you just say a word that i don't know yeah what did you just say like an asymptote wait a minute this is a momentous occasion spell that a-s-y-m-p-t-o-t-e i don't know a line that continually approaches a given curve but does not meet it at a finite distance racer it's because i related that to the blocks like eventually that's so little raiser you have no blocks to get anymore my my clash is over grazer just said a word out of his mouth that i didn't know this is like a moment crazer asymptote wait is that really how you say it release the shirts with like graphs on them you know you should not just shirts you should also make asymptote tote bags [Music] [Laughter] oh my gosh this is asymptotes gonna go down in history as the word this it's the only word that grazer has ever told me this is insane but what i was gonna say is like i really think that you could do five hours of the tower challenge because just think about getting all the glazed terracotta getting all the colored wool getting all the colored glass and then going to the end and the nether the end another like entity like that like you could definitely do like hay bales oh but it's going to be such a tasty watermelon hours all leading to that last review it should be probably a stream yeah yeah we would stream that if that ever went down for real but then the audience they could also help us with blocks so there's that too that's true so it really would just come down to who's the master of minecraft yes exactly all right well i'll give you the win how do you want to kill me how are you gonna kill me via a tower oh i get to kill you you don't get to blow up my tower i get to kill you no you have to kill me somehow okay well come over here into survival you know who's gonna kill you who all of eska's
